YOU'RE BETTER OFF THAN YOU WERE FOUR YEARS AGO?

After a squirming weekend of many questions about whether or not you are better off now than you were four years ago, the Democrats have finally decided to answer the questions with a firm yes. 

If you want to turn this country into a socialist dictatorship and have the will of the people become submissive to the power of government, we have certainly made terrific progress.  If you want to trash the Constitution, destroy religion, get rid of guns, centralize power in Washington and make the populace dependent on the government, there has been progress by leaps and bounds.  

Just look at the unemployment rate and the growth of the welfare system.  Isn't that terrific?  Look at the decline in the standard of living and the prominence of government in the health sector.  Count the number of independent businesses that have gone under and the mountain of regulations that the rest must comply with.  

The coup de gras is the fact that our stature among the nations of the world has diminished tremendously and now we are more like them.  If you want leadership among nations, look to Russia or China. 

My God, friend, if you're a true-blooded Socialist looking for a leader who can properly control us for the next 40 years, you've got to be as happy as a clam with Barack Obama and the last four years.
