The Difference Between Santos and Menendez

There's been some bellyaching among many House Republicans about the expelling of George Santos. After all, they piously reason, he hasn't been convicted of anything. To the contrary, he has admitted to many of his wrongdoings. Menendez, who I think is despicable, hasn't yet been convicted of or admitted to anything. He'll eventually be removed, but now is not the time.

Did Dominion, Smartmatic Bribe Various U.S. Election Officials in Order to Get Their Machines Installed?

 

The Philippines' Commission on Elections (COMELEC) moved Wednesday to ban Smartmatic PH, a voting technology company, after the U.S. Justice Department filed criminal charges against a former COMELEC official alleging that he was bribed by Smartmatic in exchange for winning contracts in the Philippines.

A FATHER'S DAY WISH

It’s Father’s Day as I write this post, which begs the question: How would your father or my father look at where America has taken itself today? How many times have you said: “The founding fathers would be rolling over in their graves if they saw what is happening to our country today?”    

Having been born in Pennsylvania two years before Joe Biden back in 1898, my dad recognized early on that he needed to get an education if he wanted to avoid spending the rest of his life in the coal mines.  His forte was mathematics, but he also had a fundamentally strong religious background; he managed to work his way through a college in Connecticut and to earn a degree in mathematics with a minor in theology.  And, of course, the depression hit… just after he made a major navigational invention and went into business. 

Licking his wounds, he took a job teaching mathematics at a private boarding school in Lake Placid, New York.  He then earned his Master’s Degree in education from Cornell and his Doctorate at Columbia.  During this period, his working associates convinced him into going to work for the Indian Service as an educator; that’s where he spent the vast majority of his life… teaching and mentoring Native Americans on the Navajo, Hopi and Zuni reservations. 

He believed in helping the disadvantaged, and it was largely through his efforts that Native Americans through the United States today are pulling themselves out of poverty as a result of their education and self-governance.  His ancestors, like my maternal ancestors, were in this country as early as 1636.  He had a strong streak of patriotism in him and he never strayed from his religious background. 

It is because his attributes were passed down to my brothers and my sister that I am now writing this post.  I have to think that, should he arise from the grave today, he would quickly jump back in and pull in piles of earth over his casket behind him.  People today sin openly, where they used to bury their heads in shame if caught.  People today are uncouth, vitriolic, mean-spirited, dishonest and totally selfish.  The only time the word “God” is mentioned anymore is in conjunction with the words “damn you.” 

As for me, my wish for yesterday and today and tomorrow is that my fellow mankind would stop today’s merry-go-round of life long enough to realize that we may not have had cellphones, computers or video games in those days… but life was indeed better.  Life was centered around God and godly ideals.  You could leave your doors unlocked at night and you didn’t have to pack a gun to feel safe. 

Even better, you could get a healthy night of sleep without taking 16 pills, because you always knew in your heart and soul that your day had been a good day in every respect, and that you had conducted yourself according to that vast store of guidance and knowledge stored in the Holy Bible.

CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION EVERYWHERE

We all know the swamp is corrupt.  We all know that the news outlets are corrupt.  We all suspect that Hollywood is corrupt.  The truth is now out.  

Hollywood actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin were among 50 people charged by U.S. federal prosecutors on Tuesday in a $25 million scheme to help wealthy Americans cheat their children's way into elite universities, such as Yale and Stanford.  The Edge College & Career Network has been charged with arranging for professional imposters to take college entrance exams, among other schemes.   Buyers of the "service" payed tens of thousands of dollars, masked as charitable donations.  

This country is becoming disgusting in its lack of moral and ethical fiber, all starting when Bill Clinton uttered the famous lines,"It all depends on what your definition of is, is," and "I did not have sexual relations with that woman."  

Let's face it: if my neighbor cheats and gets away with it, am I not a schmuck for playing by the rules?  It's no wonder the Democrats and the progressives don't like the Bible; its teachings are just too damned inconvenient.

DEMOCRATS PARTY WHILE THE NATION BURNS

Democrats again skipped town early Friday and scattered about the Caribbean and elsewhere for a weekend of fun, frolicking and partying as the nation was left out in the cold for themselves to face the onslaught of illegal criminal activity pouring across the southern border.   

For its part, word is oozing out that the liberal media, controlled by the Democrats and George Soros, has been actively downplaying... or even covering up... crimes committed by illegals so that the public is unaware of the full extent of the problem.   In the meanwhile: innocent Americans are being killed on the highways by drunk illegals; drug overdoses such as the one in Chico, California continue to run rampant while the drugs are pouring over that southern border; MS-13 instills terror on the streets of major cities throughout the United States; and other violent crime such as rapes, sex trafficking, home invasions and street shootings continue to occur unabated.  

And the the Democrats party on... and continue to collect their paychecks.

THE HEARING MADE UP MY MIND

Under penalty of felony, I hereby declare that I will never ever vote for a Democrat again for any office in any local, state or national election...  I don't care what their qualifications are.  

They have convinced me beyond any doubt that they are all the most despicable, worthless and vile characters ever to crawl out from underneath a rock.  I fully expect them to march Ford down to the nearest Maryland police department to file charges against Kavanaugh first thing this morning.  

If they really wanted an FBI investigation, they would have turned Ford's letter over to the full Senate Judiciary Committee back in July.

CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS ARE ALL PUTRID

It's one thing that Al Franken has admitted his wrongdoings, nevertheless, he's essentially said, "I'm sorry, but I'm staying on my job and if you have a problem with it, T.S."  Then you have John Conyers who admits nothing, but says he'll temporarily step down as Chairman of the Senate Judicial Committee while they "investigate," which means that's not going anywhere.  

But, step back a minute and take a look at a bigger picture.  The majority of the House and the Senate had to create legislation that included a budget set-aside for a slush fund which they could use to buy off employees who might file sexual harassment charges, meaning they all expected to be able to screw around at our expense.  

New, step back some more and take a look at the whole big picture.  You've got the Democrats who have yet to allow one Member to vote for any one thing the Republicans have proposed.  You've got the Republicans bound and determined to ensure that Trump cannot win in 2020, so they're doing everything they can to keep him from accomplishing anything.  The whole bunch of them are collectively determined that they do not work for us and that they can do anything they want, whether we like it or not.  

Every damned Member of Congress is being bought off and controlled by one lobbyist or another.  They're all a bunch of hypocritical, corrupt, lying and evil souls, and I for one am getting sick and tired of butting up with their all of their relentless, unapologetic bullshit.

MCCONNELL: AMERICA'S MALEVOLENT SNAKE-IN-THE-GRASS

Mitch McConnell professes to be an American and he pretends to be a Republican.  He is neither.  

McConnell has been doing everything he can, both openly and surreptitiously, to sabotage and undermine Trump's Presidency.  He has, for example, collaborated with Paul Ryan and other members of the Washington Establishment to sink Trump's plans for ditching ObamaCare, just as they are now working to torpedo any meaningful tax reform.   They don't seem to give a damn what the American people want, as signified by their votes last November.  

Now, the jackass from Kentucky has announced that Judge Roy Moore from Alabama is guilty of sexual misconduct which allegedly occurred 40 years ago, although no accusations were ever made, no charges were ever filed and no trial has ever been held.  

How un-American can you get?  

In the same breath, Republicans of the same ilk are saying that Luther Strange should be Alabama's Senatorial  nominee, although he lost in the runoffs. They and their friends should pack their bags and go shack up with Hillary Clinton and her corrupt miscreant hussies.  

Or, maybe it's time we Americans had another belligerent uprising?

AMERICA'S MORAL VALUES SUCK

How is it that this country allows the sort of bigotry and hatred which permeates organizations such as White Supremacist groups?  How do we arrive at shrugging our shoulders, rationalizing that they have freedom of speech and subsequently dismissing the matter from our public conscience?  

Where do we get the temerity to pound our fists on the table and demand an end to the death penalty while in the same breath advocating for the right of a woman to kill an unborn fetus and sell its body parts?   How do we justify having open and enticing borders, allowing "undocumented aliens" to come into our country, and then saying we don't have to feed them, house them or care for their medical needs because they're illegals?  

Why is it that we send billions of dollars to other countries to care for their poor when we won't take care of our own?  Why do we allow corporate giants to rape and plunder the pocketbooks of the sick, disabled and seniors by jacking up the costs of medical care and pharmaceuticals, while at the same time taking taxpayer money to further line the pockets of those same corporations through subsidies?  Where do we get off in allowing our government officials to tell us they want to cure these healthcare problems, but we don't put a stop to campaign contributions from the same people they "seek" to regulate?  

Why do we raise such a ruckus when the town drunk gets caught with acts of indecent exposure when we don't have the national courage to remove the corrupt politicians from their seats of power while they urinate all over public opinion and ignore the will of the people?  Why do we allow drugs and crime to infest our streets?  

Just where are our moral and ethical values?   

When is the last time anyone in this country picked up a Bible to read from it or had the strength of virtue to read from it to our children?

SUSAN RICE IS AMORAL

It wasn't long after the dropping of two nuclear weapons on Japan by the United States to bring about the end to World War II that the Soviet Union acquired its own nuclear technology, and then the race was on.  Recognizing the tremendous risk of a nuclear holocaust, the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty was created in 1970 and 190 nations have since signed on to it.  They all recognized the moral responsibility to put an end to the growth of nuclear weapons on the face of this earth.  

The fear is, of course, that some fanatical terrorist dictator of some rogue nation might someday acquire such weapons and use them indiscriminately against the rest of mankind.  Now that we have allowed North Korea to achieve that dreaded capability, former National Security Advisor Susan Rice has come forth to say that we have to just get used to it.  

In other words, its quite okay for Kim Jong-un to have nuclear-tipped ICBM's.     

Such a position is morally bankrupt and a classic example of how the liberal Democrats have ruined our national security and placed us on a course bound to end in anarchy and demise.

WE'RE BORN, WE LIVE AND WE DIE

It's what happens between the moment of birth and the instant of death that is the true mark of a man or woman.  Some have great positive or negative impact during their lifetimes, while some come and go without so much as a whisper, merely an entry on a birth record someplace and perhaps on a tombstone in some obscure cemetery.  

Some are instilled with love of their fellow mankind and become servants of God; some murder a dozen people and become subordinates of the devil.  Some work tirelessly to raise good families, while others have no inner compunction to do so.  Some join service organizations and do good and worthy work in their communities; some turn to drugs and alcohol and allow their souls to seek the gutters of life.  

But, we all start with the same clean slate; it is only what is on that slate when we die that is a measure of how we have lived our lives.  Those of us who do not take the opportunity to ponder these simple statements, to adjust their lives according to the principles of religious and moral teachings, are more often than not destined to fail.  

Although whether or not one lives a righteous and just life is of no concern or earthly consequence to many, most religions teach us that those who do not are going to pay a heavy price when they pass on into the next world.  

The main reason that I try so hard to live by the rules is that I want to minimize the odds that I will end up in eternal purgatory surrounded by the avowed jackals of the universe... politicians and journalists.

WHAT YOU SOW, YOU REAP

The Bible teaches us that if you preach, practice and spread good, good will surely come to you; if you sow evil, it will surely return to bite you.  

We as a nation have allowed our morals and scruples to evaporate.  Just as we have not required our children to learn and follow the moral and ethical teachings contained in the Bible, we have not held our elected politicians or our government officials up to the high standards embedded into us by our forefathers.  Left alone without guidance and instruction, children and those who pretend to the throne of governance will soon stray from the straight and narrow paths of righteousness.  The result is clear: crime, drug misuse and social dysfunction has increased immensely in our younger generations, and we have a country that is floundering because its leaders have turned into self-serving and corrupt, blubbering idiots. 

We are angry, frustrated and confused, but we have no one to blame but ourselves.  It is not their fault; it is our fault for allowing them to turn into what they have become.   It is our fault because we don't want to live up to the responsibilities of parenthood or citizenship.  You know the old saying: "Spare the rod and spoil the child." 

The lesson here is that it is not up to them to change; it us up to us to make them change.  Just as the schoolyard bully needs to be hauled into the principal's office and whacked on his behind with a paddle, so should the Hillary Clintons of the world be in a jail making license plates.  Just as a child needs to be sitting in a room with his nose in a book learning about life, so it is that a politician should be required to know every single word of the Constitution verbatim.  

To require less on our part is to lead us to right where we are at this very moment in time.

MORALS, SCRUPLES AND DIVISIONS

So, I assume you wonder what is coming next for this blog, now that I've made these momentous decisions.  Well, here goes...

The foundations of this country being rooted in Christian teachings, I'm going to start by citing the New Testament, Book of Mark, Chapter Three:  "If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.  If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand."  

Look at the shape this country has gotten itself into.   Not only have we forgotten the teachings of the Bible and the fundamental principles upon which America was founded, but we've allowed evil ways to insert themselves into our everyday lives; they have destroyed our moral compasses in the process and in so doing, they have turned man against man, woman against woman.  The country has been fractured over and over again by dissent and disagreement.  And those who know right from wrong have somehow lost the spine to stand up and insist that we return to the Biblical teachings that made this country great.  

Our national resolve to stand united has not only been decimated, it's been almost totally destroyed by rancorous, bitter disagreement and we have been truly weakened to the point that our house is not going to be able to stand much longer.  

The people in whom we placed our trust to guide us have shred that trust to tiny, unrecognizable bits and pieces.  Those who practice to deceive are surely bound to be bitten by their fellow snakes.  Take this impasse over healthcare for example: We have a President who swore to the people that he would repeal and replace ObamaCare.  Yet, when the House passed a bill that merely applied patches to a horrible piece of legislation... a bill that neither repealed or replaced ObamaCare, our President was supportive.  In other words, he either never intended to repeal and replace, or he lost the spine to stand up for what he promised.  

We have a Republican House and a Senate that swore upon holy oaths that if we, the people, would only hand them the majority of power, they would proceed to repeal and replace ObamaCare immediately.   We handed them that power and they set about creating bills not to repeal or replace bad law, but to tweak it and call it by another name.  Either they lied to us up front, or they lack the spine to live up to their promises.  

How could their belligerent disregard for their promises and for the will of the American people have ended up in anything else BUT failure?   

We have a nation that is divided against itself and a government that could not care less.  What is worse is that we have a country full of citizens who seem perfectly willing to set their Bibles in the closet underneath the dirty laundry and go along with the program.  

Satan must certainly be relishing our future.

KATHY GRIFFIN BLAMES TRUMP

I am so angry right now, I'm going to pop off and lower my standards of decency as a result.  

Kathy Griffin held a press conference yesterday and whined about how her career is over, crying, "Trump broke me."  She asserted that she has been contacted by the Secret Service and grumbled that the Trumps are "trying to ruin my rights forever."  

During the press conference, her attorney, Lisa Bloom, sternly admonished that the comedian has a First Amendment right to make fun of the president. "Whether or not you get, or like, her artistic expression, in America, Kathy has the right to parody the president." 

I beg your pardon!  Parody?  A severed head?  

Griffin lamented that she has had five shows canceled just this week, plus losing her contract with Squatty Potty and CNN.

I guess, I mean... well, she apologized and that should make us all want to kiss her ass, right?  And just like the entire liberal left, from Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama...  she didn't do anything wrong and is trying to twist this into a feel-sorry-for-Kathy spectacle.  

Now, I'm going to exercise my First Amendment rights:  You're in total denial, Kathy.  You're a low-life, scummy, wretched bitch.  I'd tell you to go to hell, but I don't think even they want you around.

BILL MAHER ACCUSES TRUMP OF INCEST

This from THE BLAZE: "Speaking with New York Magazine reporter Gabriel Sherman, Maher joked that Ivanka’s attempts to 'humanize' her father only lead him to believe that deviant sexual behavior is going on behind closed doors. “'A lot of us thought: Ivanka is gonna be our saving grace,' Maher said. 'When he’s about to f**kin’ nuke Finland or something, she’s gonna walk into the bedroom and, you know, —‘Daddy, Daddy,’' and mimicked Ivanka pleasuring her father with a lewd hand gesture. “‘Don’t do it, Daddy,'” he mocked." 

Any respectable political party would terminate his membership.  It's beyond crude, vulgar and obscene, totally beyond the pale and very unacceptable in any civilized society.  Maher is a sick, disgusting pervert and beyond that, he's a Democrat.

A POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE TO BOY SCOUTS

For decades and decades, the Boy Scouts of America was a positive influence in the growth of American boys, as it helped mold their character, integrity, strength and knowledge.  

Then, they trashed some of their core principles and beliefs.  They turned aside from Biblical teachings and principles when they allowed gay leaders and members into their folds.  That move caused Christian families across the country a great deal of consternation.  I, for one, lost all respect for the organization where I was in a leadership role at many levels for many years.  

Now, there is a growing alternative for those who want the oldstyle traditional ideals of the Boys Scouts and who insist on living in a Christian manner.  Trail Life USA, which focuses on “traditional Christian values” already has more than 26,000 members across the country and is growing by leaps and bounds.  The faith-based group group is aimed at turning boys into Christian men, and the group’s core values indicate they believe this “can only be done by allowing a boy the opportunity to interact, work with, and be mentored by and with other Christian men.”  

It's refreshing to see someone push back against the liberal agenda.

SEXUAL CONDUCT: DOUBLE STANDARDS

Bill O'Reilly was just fired from FOX NEWS under allegations of sexual misconduct.  From what I've heard on the networks, I didn't hear anything so pernicious that it would give rise to termination of employment.  There were certainly remarks made by him that were distasteful, but not crude or overtly suggestive in my opinion.

Yet, the media and those on the ever blue-nosed left caused a huge ruckus over the allegations.  Indeed, advertisers left his show in droves, signalling to the vacillating FOX NEWS management that they'd better damned-well make a change. 

Where were all of these goody-two-shoes when Bill Clinton... then President of the United States Bill Clinton... was dallying around with a young intern on the Oval Office carpet?  Remember the daily tidbits of information that used to slither out of the White House about a President who swore under oath that he did not... did not, mind you... have sexual relations with that woman?  Remember how the same left-wing media and political elitists defended Clinton on the basis that his private sex life was none of America's business? Plainly speaking, Clinton somehow actually got admired in the process. 

On the other hand, I've heard no allegations that O'Reilly, who was not the president, actually sacked anybody.  I've heard no woman claim that he forced himself upon her, but I did hear from several women who alleged that Clinton forced himself on them.  

So, why do we tolerate the double standard?

THE END OF AMERICAN JUSTICE

There was a day in this country when, if you did something illegal, immoral or unethical... you paid for it in one way or another.  You got charged, tried, convicted and made to pay a fine or go to jail; you got tossed out of your church; or you lost your job and your reputation.  You might have heard about those days as being about "truth, justice and the American way."  

It didn't matter who you were, who you knew, how much money or power you had, or what side of the tracks you lived on; screw up and pay for it.  Countless Senators, Representatives, Judges, corporate executives and Hollywood actors got caught and lost virtually everything in the process.  That way of life even affected a president... Richard M. Nixon.  

It's not that way anymore; it seems to me that nobody has to own up to their misdeeds these days.  Illegals come to our country, commit crimes and get put on pedestals.  Corruption is an everyday occurrence everywhere.  An innocent young woman gets shot and killed on a wharf in San Francisco and everyone turns their backs on the family while the City rushes to defend the perpetrator and the circumstances.  

Along comes the most powerful and wealthy political woman in modern U.S. history who is directly responsible for the deaths of four innocent Americans in Benghazi, who violated national security regulations, and who actively participated in "pay for play" schemes involving her husband, the office of Secretary of State and her "foundation."  Rather than having someone blow the whistle, she had hundreds of employees and high government officials from the White House to the Justice Department, to the State Department, to the F.B.I. and God only knows where else... covering up for her in an open, flagrant scheme to obstruct justice.  

And it looks like she totally got away with it.  Well... nobody's even talking about it anymore, are they?  

Mr. Trump: Someone needs to get this poison off the American table.
