AMERICA: THE LID BEGINS TO BLOW OFF

Late yesterday afternoon, astounding news hit the table about the insidious extent of corruption, bribery and violation of the public trust that was running rampant throughout Washington from 2009 to 2017, involving Obama, Holder, Clinton, Mueller, then Lynch, Comey, Rosenstein and God knows who else... all associated with hundreds of millions of dollars illegally coming out of Russia.  

This story undoubtedly involves people in high places in the Democratic and Republican parties, because they had every reason to know what was going on and did nothing about it.  

It will be interesting to see to what lengths the mainstream media will go to stifle these ugly revelations in the days, weeks and months ahead. 


Now, back to my originally planned post.  

Colin  Kaepernick and the NFL aren't the only ones trashing our country and what we stand for.  The body of 29-year-old Army Staff Sgt. Dustin Wright was being returned home on a Delta Airlines flight and a passenger, Pamela Dee Gaudry, decided she wanted to stand up and sing the National Anthem in salute and recognition to the fallen soldier when they landed.  Many passengers wanted to join in, but a Delta flight attendant told them all to sit down and shut up because it was against Delta's policy to sing the National Anthem.  

Well, once a video of the incident started circulating around the Internet. Delta decided they'd better do some damage control and apologized to Gaudry; they did not apologize to Americans on board or to the family of Wright.  Why wasn't Gaudry trained in Delta's policy, whatever it is?  

Delta and Kaepernick and the NFL deserve to suffer their consequences for their anti-American displays.  If they don't like it here in America, why in the hell don't they move to North Korea or Iran, where I'm sure they'd be so much happier?  

As for me, I don't watch NFL games, I don't buy Budweiser and I no longer fly Delta.

WOULD YOU TRAVEL IN A PILOTLESS AIRPLANE?

Boeing is ready to start testing an airliner than is fully computer-operated.  Mike Sinnett, Boeing’s vice president of product development, told Reuters, “When I look at the future I see a need for you know 41,000 commercial jet airplanes over the course of the next 20 years. And that means we’re going to need something like six hundred and seventeen thousand more pilots. That’s a lot of pilots.” He continued to say, “so one of the ways that may be solved is by having some type of autonomous behavior and that could be anything from taking instead of five pilots on a long haul flight down to three or two, taking two pilots down to one in a freight situation, or in some cases going from one to none.”  

Just think about that prospect the next time your computer crashes.

UNITED AIRLINES NEEDS TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS

United Airlines continues to show its arrogant disregard for the the traveling public.  

Tuesday night, a newlywed passenger on board a flight from Newark Liberty International Airport to Venice, Italy noticed fuel leaking out of the airplane's wing while taxiing on the tarmac.  She and her husband tried to get a flight attendant to do something about it, but were told nothing was wrong and to sit down and shut up.  They continued to raise concerns and an employee finally took a look out the window and went running for the cockpit; the engines were immediately shut down and fire trucks promptly appeared on the scene.  The flight was subsequently canceled.   

The newlyweds had saved the day, but were then treated like lepers from a prehistoric cave and told they had better not make a big ruckus about the event on social media.  The couple needed to be in Italy in order to board a cruise and eventually were booked on another flight on Delta.  While United booked a nearby hotel and meals for other passengers, the newlyweds got only a food voucher and no place to stay until the new flight left the next day, so they ended up sleeping on the floor of baggage claim.  As of post time, United has not commented on the couple's plight.  

United has been involved on a long string of scurrilous behavior toward its passengers.   The fact that no positive steps toward resolving these issues seems to have taken place speaks for itself and its attitudes.  

People need to quit flying United Airlines before they kill somebody, whether inadvertently or negligently.

AIRLINE DISASTER: ONE BIG MISTAKE

The pilot of the ill-fated Malaysian passenger flight over Ukraine was concerned about flying over dangerous territory and altered his flight path... straight into the real danger zone where the plane was shot down, according to PATRIOTUPDATE.COM. Malaysia Airlines yesterday denied that the plane was told to alter its course. 

The plane was then placed directly in the line of fire and took a missile hit that brought it down.  

If I didn't know better, I'd swear that an Obama was the pilot.

TALKING CARS

The Federal Government is trying to decide whether or not to require automobile manufacturers who sell cars in this country to install technology that enables cars to communicate with each other; theoretically, cars reporting each others' positions could prevent all accidents except those caused by mechanical failure and drunk driving.  A transponder would continually transmit the vehicle's position, speed and direction. 

I can just see it now: You get into your car, buckle up and tell your car to drive you to your cousin's house.  The response: "Don't bug me; I'm busy talking with that cute pink Maserati coming down the street." 

Supposing you're heading down the highway and there's a car coming from the opposite direction.  All of the sudden, a third car appears from a side road and your car automatically swerves to the left; the oncoming car automatically swerves to the right to avoid you, goes off a cliff and kills all occupants.  Had you not been over-ruled by your own car, you would have would have braked and swerved to the right, opting for the shoulder or corn field where all lives would be spared.  What are the legal and insurance ramifications.  Who are they going to sue, you or your car?  

Will your car prevent you from speeding?  If you're going to have to pass a car that's going too slow, will your car prevent you from exceeding the speed limit in order to get around the other guy?  If you see a 700 pound gorilla sauntering across the road, will your car prevent you from slamming on the brakes and swerving to avoid hitting the gorilla, just because there's a little old lady from Pasadena on her Cushman motor scooter five miles behind you? 

What language will they use to communicate with each other?  Suppose one car is owned by an Apache and the other one is owned by a Navajo... What language will the cars use to communicate?  If you grab your girlfriend and head for a motel to cheat on your wife, what's the danger of your car running YOU over a cliff?  If your car doesn't like the way you cleaned the windshield, is it going to chase you down and run you over?  

On the other hand, this would be really a good solution for liberal drivers.  They usually have their heads so far up their own rear-ends that they couldn't see the highway without a glass stomach.
