SPECIAL POST
The Democrats spent yesterday desperately trying to change the subject, the subject of God and the party platform.
I've spent plenty of verbiage on what happened and about the denials and the uproar that ensued when the chairman abruptly declared that God and U.S. support for Jerusalem would be back in the platform. Obama denied knowing what was in the platform. His deputy campaign manager alleged that no one, not one person in the whole party, knows who deleted God and Jerusalem in the first place. The Chair insists that it was a legitimate voice vote that occurred, but word leaked out yesterday morning that the teleprompters had already been loaded with the verbiage declaring, by a two-thirds majority, that the amendments restoring the words before the voice vote was taken.
As the day wore on yesterday, the controversy boiled. By the time Obama spoke last night, no one cared what he had to say, but they did want the "God-issue" to go away.
I think they have stepped into a pile of really bad dung of their own making. At least we now know for certain what cloth they were cut from.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
