Is Lack of Religion Killing American Democracy?

The question certainly sounds plausible. When you look back at the strong, fundamental religious principles upon which our nation was founded and compare it to the moral and ethical structures of the time, history tells you we had far fewer prisons, virtually no drug problems, and the country stuck together.

 

In recent decades, our evil internal enemies have been chipping away at the importance of religion in our daily lives. The prisons are full, we have rampant drug problems, our schools are indoctrinating our children in Marxist philosophy, we lie to each other with impunity and our national pride is in the toilet. 

 

Maybe we should cut the bullshit and get back to our religious roots?

Yes, Americans WILL Pay for Tax-Funded Abortions!

Most Americans are opposed to taxpayer funding of abortion both in the U.S. and abroad. However, Democrats and pro-choice activists are adamant in their plans for the future of abortion in America, and we’re going to pay for it whether we like it or not!

 

Leading the charge, House Appropriations Committee Chair Rosa DeLauro claims it is against American national values to not allow taxpayer funded abortions. “Quite frankly, allowing Hyde Amendment to remain on the books is a disservice not only to our constituents, but also to the values we espouse as a nation.  We are finally doing what is right for our mothers, our families, our communities by striking this (Hyde Amendment) discriminatory amendment once and for all.” The Hyde Amendment bars the use of federal funds to pay for abortions except in rare instances, and the Dems have removed it from current funding legislation. 

 

Fully knowing that religious and conservative Americans are dead set against most abortions, the Dems plan to use their powers to make it happen in this Congressional term.

American Religious Persecution 101

A federal judge has ruled against a The College of the Ozarks, a Christian college in Missouri, which argues that a Biden administration rule would require the school to open women's dorm rooms and showers to biological males. The college sued the administration in April, arguing that a federal directive "requires private religious colleges to place biological males into female dormitories and to assign them as females’ roommates," which goes against the school's rules prohibiting male students from female dorms and vise-versa.

On his very first day in office, Biden issued an executive order to prevent discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.

The radical left, the Fascist Neo-Nazi’s of America, continue to chip away at the fundamental rights and liberties embedded in our religious beliefs. They seek to eradicate our moral compasses and to strip us of our personal dignities.  This is not only an outright attack on foundations contained in our Declaration of Independence, but an overt attack on American religious principles.

One Nation, “Under God?”

I know darned well that every single one of us has asked, over and over again, “How did this country get into this mess? We were so great!”

 

I don’t care what the Fascist, Marxist liberals of the country have to say: we were founded on religious principles and belief in God. That tenet is thoroughly entrenched in our Constitution. Over the centuries, we adhered to that guiding principle and America had firm and strong morals and ethics which steered our ship of state through hell and highwater, always on the straight and narrow. And when we saw any attempt to infringe on religion, morals or ethics, we raised holy hell over it.

 

When you look at where we are today, with religious attendance way down, we are surrounded by unethical, immoral thieves and crooks who are actively trying to destroy what religion we have remaining and to take down our country at the same time. 

 

You have to ask yourself: In our greatness, did we leave God behind? If so, what are we going to do about it?

A FATHER'S DAY WISH

It’s Father’s Day as I write this post, which begs the question: How would your father or my father look at where America has taken itself today? How many times have you said: “The founding fathers would be rolling over in their graves if they saw what is happening to our country today?”    

Having been born in Pennsylvania two years before Joe Biden back in 1898, my dad recognized early on that he needed to get an education if he wanted to avoid spending the rest of his life in the coal mines.  His forte was mathematics, but he also had a fundamentally strong religious background; he managed to work his way through a college in Connecticut and to earn a degree in mathematics with a minor in theology.  And, of course, the depression hit… just after he made a major navigational invention and went into business. 

Licking his wounds, he took a job teaching mathematics at a private boarding school in Lake Placid, New York.  He then earned his Master’s Degree in education from Cornell and his Doctorate at Columbia.  During this period, his working associates convinced him into going to work for the Indian Service as an educator; that’s where he spent the vast majority of his life… teaching and mentoring Native Americans on the Navajo, Hopi and Zuni reservations. 

He believed in helping the disadvantaged, and it was largely through his efforts that Native Americans through the United States today are pulling themselves out of poverty as a result of their education and self-governance.  His ancestors, like my maternal ancestors, were in this country as early as 1636.  He had a strong streak of patriotism in him and he never strayed from his religious background. 

It is because his attributes were passed down to my brothers and my sister that I am now writing this post.  I have to think that, should he arise from the grave today, he would quickly jump back in and pull in piles of earth over his casket behind him.  People today sin openly, where they used to bury their heads in shame if caught.  People today are uncouth, vitriolic, mean-spirited, dishonest and totally selfish.  The only time the word “God” is mentioned anymore is in conjunction with the words “damn you.” 

As for me, my wish for yesterday and today and tomorrow is that my fellow mankind would stop today’s merry-go-round of life long enough to realize that we may not have had cellphones, computers or video games in those days… but life was indeed better.  Life was centered around God and godly ideals.  You could leave your doors unlocked at night and you didn’t have to pack a gun to feel safe. 

Even better, you could get a healthy night of sleep without taking 16 pills, because you always knew in your heart and soul that your day had been a good day in every respect, and that you had conducted yourself according to that vast store of guidance and knowledge stored in the Holy Bible.
