ROBOCALL SPOOFERS CREATING HUGE PROBLEMS

Since robocalling is against the law in most parts of the country, and since telephone carriers are zeroing in on numbers used to place robocalls, the sleazbags are now getting ugly.  Here's how it works.  

ABC Credit Card discount company calls Johnny Smith at 505-124-4567.  Johnny doesn't answer.  They try again two or three times; Johnny still doesn't answer.  So, they figure Johnny is not at home and they can safely "borrow" his number. 

Using their own number of 202-123-4567 to make the calls, ABC uses computers to make it look as if they are actually calling from 505-123-4567 and they start making robocalls around the country. 

Mary Jones answers the call and gets the sales pitch.  Bill Williams, on the other hand, turns ABC into the FCC or state authorities.  When they investigate, they discover that 505-123-4567 has nothing to do with ABC and is the innocent victim.  What's worse, George Jones notices he got called from a 505 area code number and calls it back.  Johnny Smith answers and gets an earful from George about robocalls which probably includes some foul language.  

In the meanwhile, ABC is in the process of setting up another "spoofed" number to use in starting another round of robocalls.  They actually prefer to use spoofed numbers from your area code... even your own home town... to trick you into answering the phone.  Furthermore, they don't give a hoot whether you are on the "Do Not Call" registry, have a cell phone or are on your death bed in the hospital. 

These calls just keep on making the rounds, minute after minute, hour by hour... and nobody's doing anything about it.

AMERICA: THE LID BEGINS TO BLOW OFF

Late yesterday afternoon, astounding news hit the table about the insidious extent of corruption, bribery and violation of the public trust that was running rampant throughout Washington from 2009 to 2017, involving Obama, Holder, Clinton, Mueller, then Lynch, Comey, Rosenstein and God knows who else... all associated with hundreds of millions of dollars illegally coming out of Russia.  

This story undoubtedly involves people in high places in the Democratic and Republican parties, because they had every reason to know what was going on and did nothing about it.  

It will be interesting to see to what lengths the mainstream media will go to stifle these ugly revelations in the days, weeks and months ahead. 


Now, back to my originally planned post.  

Colin  Kaepernick and the NFL aren't the only ones trashing our country and what we stand for.  The body of 29-year-old Army Staff Sgt. Dustin Wright was being returned home on a Delta Airlines flight and a passenger, Pamela Dee Gaudry, decided she wanted to stand up and sing the National Anthem in salute and recognition to the fallen soldier when they landed.  Many passengers wanted to join in, but a Delta flight attendant told them all to sit down and shut up because it was against Delta's policy to sing the National Anthem.  

Well, once a video of the incident started circulating around the Internet. Delta decided they'd better do some damage control and apologized to Gaudry; they did not apologize to Americans on board or to the family of Wright.  Why wasn't Gaudry trained in Delta's policy, whatever it is?  

Delta and Kaepernick and the NFL deserve to suffer their consequences for their anti-American displays.  If they don't like it here in America, why in the hell don't they move to North Korea or Iran, where I'm sure they'd be so much happier?  

As for me, I don't watch NFL games, I don't buy Budweiser and I no longer fly Delta.

CANCELLING A SUPER BOWL PARTY

I belong to one of three veterans organizations in my town.  For the first time in a very long time, the three of us decided to get together on a joint fund-raiser to bring in much needed money to help local veterans, the youth and the community.  

We decided to do a big, first-class Veterans Football Party on Super Bowl Sunday, with hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled-pork sandwiches, chips, nachos, chili and drawings for TV's, NFL memorabilia, etc.  We were on the very verge of kicking this project off, with flyers and tickets already printed and ready to go.  

Well, we're not very happy.  

We put our lives on the line in order to protect America's freedoms, liberties and rights.  But, it seems like there are a lot of so-called Americans who don't believe in standing up for our flag or our National Anthem.  They put their self-centered political agendas ahead of their nation.  And just to show they're damned serious about it, they ignored the outcries and doubled down by getting into our faces with it on Monday Night Football.  

How can any veterans organization do anything to support those anti-American bigots?  

They and all of the advertisers who support them... from Budweiser to Hyundai, from Carnival to Coca Cola, from Doritos to Go Daddy... you name them... they can all take their sorry, unpatriotic butts and head for the poor house, because we're not supporting them or their disgraceful and disgusting anti-social, unsportsmanlike conduct ever again.  

Period.

WOULD YOU TRAVEL IN A PILOTLESS AIRPLANE?

Boeing is ready to start testing an airliner than is fully computer-operated.  Mike Sinnett, Boeing’s vice president of product development, told Reuters, “When I look at the future I see a need for you know 41,000 commercial jet airplanes over the course of the next 20 years. And that means we’re going to need something like six hundred and seventeen thousand more pilots. That’s a lot of pilots.” He continued to say, “so one of the ways that may be solved is by having some type of autonomous behavior and that could be anything from taking instead of five pilots on a long haul flight down to three or two, taking two pilots down to one in a freight situation, or in some cases going from one to none.”  

Just think about that prospect the next time your computer crashes.

UNITED AIRLINES NEEDS TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS

United Airlines continues to show its arrogant disregard for the the traveling public.  

Tuesday night, a newlywed passenger on board a flight from Newark Liberty International Airport to Venice, Italy noticed fuel leaking out of the airplane's wing while taxiing on the tarmac.  She and her husband tried to get a flight attendant to do something about it, but were told nothing was wrong and to sit down and shut up.  They continued to raise concerns and an employee finally took a look out the window and went running for the cockpit; the engines were immediately shut down and fire trucks promptly appeared on the scene.  The flight was subsequently canceled.   

The newlyweds had saved the day, but were then treated like lepers from a prehistoric cave and told they had better not make a big ruckus about the event on social media.  The couple needed to be in Italy in order to board a cruise and eventually were booked on another flight on Delta.  While United booked a nearby hotel and meals for other passengers, the newlyweds got only a food voucher and no place to stay until the new flight left the next day, so they ended up sleeping on the floor of baggage claim.  As of post time, United has not commented on the couple's plight.  

United has been involved on a long string of scurrilous behavior toward its passengers.   The fact that no positive steps toward resolving these issues seems to have taken place speaks for itself and its attitudes.  

People need to quit flying United Airlines before they kill somebody, whether inadvertently or negligently.

A NICE, POLITE MESSAGE TO THE PRESS AND THE MEDIA

You lie; you spin; you manufacture fake and poisonous news.  You are un-American and you are doing everything possible to undermine our democracy and our way of life.  

I cannot find the words to adequately describe the hatred you spew or the total disservice you are doing to your country.  You are beyond shame or castigation.  You are lower than snake bellies.  

If I want to know what is going on in this country, I will have to rely on the CBC or the BBC, because I'm surely not getting the correct information from you.  

To hell with you.

IS JUDGE NAPOLITANO IN TROUBLE?

FOX NEWS Senior Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano has reportedly been taken off the air as a result of recent reporting that British intelligence agencies may have been used by then President Barack Hussein Obama to spy on Donald Trump.  Napolitano had reported he had confirmations of the story from three separate and reliable sources and the Trump White House has continued to insist that eavesdropping of Trump did in fact occur at Trump Tower.  

Nevertheless, FOX NEWS newscaster Shepard Smith stated that FOX has absolutely no evidence to support Napolitano's claims.  Smith has been an opinionated and less-than-favorable reporter regarding the Trump Administration.  

Napolitano at one time had his own FOX NEWS show, but was abruptly shut down after the Obama Mafia complained.  He is a highly respected legal guru in most knowledgeable circles.  As of blog post time, FOX had neither denied or confirmed Napolitano's hiatus and it is unclear when, or if, the former judge will return to his duties.  

Napolitano is one of the only reasons I continue to watch FOX NEWS at all; their shifting priorities in reporting have caused me to be less trusting in their objectivity.  It never ceases to amaze me how so many major companies are unwilling to stand behind their most trusted employees.  It's easy to understand how cops must feel after someone who wasn't even at the scene of a shooting starts second-guessing what actually occurred.  

I think it would be a tragic mistake if he has been permanently taken off the air.

THIS PARTICULAR GAME OF CHICKEN SUCKS

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission subpoenaed Tyson Foods last Monday, investigating allegations of colluding with other major chicken producers to drive up chicken prices starting as far back as 2008.  Pilgrim's Pride and Sanderson Farms are two of the other companies.  They are all vehemently denying the accusations.  

In the "golden age of chicken" with beef and pork prices skyrocketing and health advocates steering consumers away from red meat, consumers have left beef and pork behind in favor of leaner meat.  Last year, consumers spent about $90 billion on chicken products, which chicken consumption more than doubling in the past 40 years. 

I don't know about you, but if they are guilty it's going to leave a fowl taste in MY mouth... play on words intended.

ACOSTA, CNN DESERVE TO BE BOOTED

If I were Donald Trump, I'd boot both CNN and reporter Jim Acosta from all White House news briefings for at least six months.  

During Trump's recent press conference, Trump took issue with CNN's "fake news" about his being involved with the Russians and about one wrong Michael Cohen fingered for being a go-between.  Acosta, who had already asked one question in the conference, cut loose like a bulldog in heat, interrupting Trump and repeatedly, rudely demanding the right to ask another question; Trump refused, telling Acosta he was being rude, but Acosta persisted.  Press Secretary Sean Spicer later told Acosta that if he ever pulled that stunt again, he'd be thrown out.  Spicer went on at least one television show complaining about the treatment.  

Although Spicer has since called for a "truce," neither he nor CNN has apologized for the egregious behavior.  

It's time they showed some semblance of decorum in respect to the president during press briefings.  If they're going to act like assholes, they need to be treated accordingly.  Freedom of the press does not mean freedom to be rude and arrogant.

YAHOO.COM PROVES TO BE RUN BY YAHOOS

Yahoo said in September that 500 million Yahoo account holders had had their email information hacked.  They are now saying that another hack occurred in 2013 affecting over 1 billion users.   Now, if it is true that it happened in 2013, it either took Yahoo three years to figure out they'd been hacked to such a large extent, or they knew it and decided not to say anything about it.  

Either way, they haven't done right by their users.  You have to assume that your Yahoo email account and everything in it has been hacked and is now in the possession of someone somewhere you don't even know.  And, thanks to Yahoo, they've had that information for over three years.  

I don't know about you, but I'm shutting down all Yahoo accounts immediately and moving to AOL or GMail.  I'm also changing passwords on any and all accounts anywhere that are the same as or similar to my Yahoo accounts.  

These guys are so dumb they should be working for the government.  Maybe they're secretly Russian spies?

OAKLAND WAREHOUSE OWNER: OUTRAGE GROWS

Craig Milder, owner of the warehouse that burned to the ground in Oakland killing at least 35 people, has come out whining that he had lost everything.  “Confirmed. Everything I worked so hard for is gone. Blessed that my children and Micah were at a hotel safe and sound,” his post read. “… It’s as it I have woken from a dream filled with opulence and hope…to be standing now in poverty of self worth.”  

As you might expect, there was no remorse for renting out the building for residency without a permit, no apology for not having proper fire exits or a sprinkler system, and no condolences for those who lost their lives or their families.  It was all about him and his financial loss.  You would think he was a left-wing liberal upset that Hillary didn't win.  

It's the epitome of insensitivity.  You surely would not want to be stuck in the same foxhole with him.  

Here's hoping he gets charged with criminal negligence and spends a long time in the slammer.

JUST IN TIME FOR THANKSGIVING: MASSACRE THE DAMNED INDIANS!

Violence has once again erupted on the Standing Rock Sioux Nation in below-freezing temperatures of North Dakota as Native American protesters, attempting to protect their sacred sites and clean water, were pelted by fire hoses, tear gas and rubber bullets Sunday... sending at least 17 to hospitals and injuring scores of others.   

"The easement to build the unsafe Dakota Access Pipeline has not been granted. But under the cover of darkness, North Dakota law enforcement continues to engage in unlawful and dehumanizing tactics to subdue peaceful water protectors with tear gas and water cannons," Dave Archambault II, the chairman of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, said. "Live video footage on Facebook this Sunday night (Nov. 20) clearly documents that North Dakota's law enforcement and government officials have sanctioned aggressive acts in failed attempts to disperse water protectors who have the right to demonstrate against and report on this failing project. It's time for President Obama to condemn these tactics and this pipeline."

Although the footage that I have seen totally shows otherwise, law enforcement authorities are calling it a riot.  This particular showdown occurred after law enforcement officials blocked off an eight-mile stretch of highway  at the request of Dakota Access, the pipeline company. 

Once again in American history, money trumps common sense and Native Americans are on the short end of the stick.  My guess is that the only reason Obama has not intervened is that they are not black and they are not Muslims.

SAY GOODBYE TO HP PRINTERS

Everybody knows that HP consistently makes one of the best computer printers.  We also know that they charge an arm and a leg for their refill cartridges.  Those of us who use our printers a lot cringe every time we have to purchase more cartridges, so we instinctively look for ways to cut those costs.  We get cartridges refilled or we purchase off-brands.  

When we install a refilled or off-brand cartridge, we usually get a warning.  Well, HP has decided that if you are going to use their printers, you're going to have to do it their way... or else.  From now on, instead of the warning message, your printer will just shut down and you'll be toast.  That's right: you may own the printer, but you don't own the right to use at as you wish.   Like it or not, if you want to print, you're going to have to pay the premium and purchase only their cartridges.  Of course, the logical next step is that when you update the software for "security" reasons in your existing printer, that'll produce the same result when you go to replace cartridges: unless it's a genuine, new HP cartridge, you're not going to be printing anything soon.  http://www.wnd.com/2016/09/hp-software-now-self-destructs-in-printers/

TARGET STEPS DEEPER INTO ITS PILE OF DUNG

Back in 2013, Michael Turner saw Leon Walls stabbing a 16-year-old girl in a Target store in Pennsylvania.  Turner and friends intervened, during which time several of Turner's friends were cut or stabbed by Walls.  Turner grabbed a baseball bat and started swinging at Walls, who ran out of the store, was arrested and found guilty; he subsequently got off on a mental finding.  

Although witnesses and everyone involved have credited Turner with saving the girl's life, Target is suing Tuner on the basis that he acted in a manner that was unsafe and irresponsible.  And where was Target security when this all came down? 

The message is clear: if you're going to be a good Samaritan, don't do it in a Target Store.  Their management must all be in training for jobs in the U.S. Government.

ABOUT OBAMA'S COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS

Obama is complaining because American corporations are not only moving their jobs overseas, but now they're moving their corporate offices overseas as well, thereby avoiding the highest corporate tax rates in the world... America's.  

So, how does he intend to deal with the problem?  Well, he's going to add more taxes, of course.   

No wonder he doesn't want his college transcripts released to the public.

OBAMA KEEPS SENDING OUR JOBS TO MEXICO

Carrier Air Conditioning, part of United Technologies, has become the latest in a growing list of U.S. companies moving their production facilities out of the country.  

The Economic Policy Institute has documented that “Between 1993 (before NAFTA took effect) and 2013, the U.S. trade deficit with Mexico and Canada increased from $17.0 billion to $177.2 billion, displacing more than 850,000 U.S. jobs.  More than 5 million U.S. manufacturing jobs were lost between 1997 and 2014, and most of those job losses were due to growing trade deficits with countries that have negotiated trade and investment deals with the United States,” the report states. 

Higher wages, the impact of ObamaCare, vastly increased business regulations under the Obama Administration, and high corporate taxes have combined to force American businesses to ship jobs overseas in order to remain competitive in the U.S. market.  

The greatest national economy in the world is sinking into oblivion under the weight of its own stupidity.

FOX NEWS CROSSES THE LINE

Journalism in this country has traditionally been given a wide berth when it comes to investigating and reporting; in return, it has has agreed to report the facts honestly, that American citizens can reach informed decisions about current events.  The media and press have even been allowed to express their open opinions of current events, but it has been a"code of  ethics" that opinions be confined to segments of reporting clearly labeled as "opinions."  

Unfortunately, those in the seats of power of the press have slowly eroded their responsibilities, first by injecting their opinions into their actual "investigating and reporting," and then by crossing the line into shaping their reports such as to actually become the makers of news themselves.  That's how you get a MSNBC, CNN or NBC who openly and flagrantly take political stands and shape their "news" accordingly.  

Up until recently, FOX NEWS was truly one of the only "fair and balanced" news organizations in the country.  Now, they have crossed that line and joined the rest of the national media in trying to shape American opinion to their way of thinking and to insert their own corporate objectives into politics.  They did it in the Donald Trump vs. Megyn Kelly blowup and they did it again by putting all of their marbles into the Rubio campaign.   

In doing so, FOX has betrayed the millions of Americans who put their faith and trust into that network.  They besmirched their "fair and balanced" mission statement and they have done a grave disservice to the country.  

Thank God for NEWSMAX and BREITBART.COM.  Here's hoping FOX NEWS pays the ultimate penalty with declining viewership and ratings.

THE BRITCHES DON'T FIT

Sometimes we get so successful at what we are doing that we start to take our success for granted.  When you reach that point, however, you have usually reached your pinnacle of success and it's inevitably downhill from there.  

Such is the case with FOX NEWS and with Megyn Kelly in particular.  

When Kelly started her show Tuesday night, you could see the anger in the nostrils of her nose and the glare of her eyes; the very word "Trump" had sent her into a state of mind that I have only seen in women possessed by manic depression and bipolar disease.  She was livid.  Throughout the night and into yesterday, FOX anchors united solidly against Trump.  Roger Ailes is said to have tried to reach Trump's wife and his daughter to persuade them to get The Donald to straighten up and fly right.  

Meanwhile, several polls show that 83% of FOX's audience are ticked off enough at the FOX response that they are not going to watch tonight's debate.  As of post time yesterday afternoon, several other candidates were considering being a "no show."  FOX's response has basically been, "We're FOX NEWS and we're not going to be told what to do by anyone."  

Kelly has made no secret of her obsession against Trump and Trump has every right to decline to participate in a debate hosted by Kelly who would undoubtedly turn her position into a platform from which to make Trump look like an idiot, just as she did in the first FOX debates last August.  

I stood behind FOX in its clash with DISH TV last year, going so far as to switch from DISH to DirectTV.  FOX was right in that instance but, they are dead wrong in this one.  No legitimate news source has the right to interject itself into a politics, but by its attitude, FOX has.  Evidently, neither Kelly nor the top dogs at FOX NEWS give a damn about how their audience feels about it.  

They've both gotten way too big for their britches.

YAHOO DESERVES THE TOILET

Yahoo Chief Executive Officer Marissa Mayer stepped into it big time.  Yahoo has been tanking in the market and on their financial statements, and employees are worried about their future. She recently said there would be "No layoffs... this week."  

Given the company's decline, 10% or more of the company's jobs could be on the chopping block, and we all know that there just are not that many jobs out there in the marketplace.  So, it's cruel to try and make the matter into a joke.  

If that's the way the stockholders want to see their employees treated, with such disregard and insensitivity to their legitimate concerns, they deserve to be unionized.  When you treat your employees like dirt, they have every right to bite back.  

Such management attitudes are symptomatic of a sick business culture.  No wonder they're in trouble.
