BENGHAZI STORY DISAPPEARS; SUSAN RICE A "SHOO-IN"

SPECIAL POST

The Benghazi story disappeared over the holiday and it became more apparent that Congress and the Republicans will do Obama's biding and confirm her as the next Secretary of State.  While the media and the press never mentioned the Benghazi Massacre once during the holidays, they were quick to jump on the story that House Homeland Security Chairman Peter King (R-N.Y.) praised U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice for her diplomatic work. Rice had appeared on five different networks touting that the Benghazi Massacre was not a terrorist attack, but that it resulted from over-zealous demonstrators and a You Tube video.

When word leaked out of the White House sewer system that Obama intended to name Rice as his next Secretary of State, Senator John McCain and other prominent politicians from both parties came unglued and Obama threw down the gauntlet, telling McCain to back off and that he would name whomever he wanted to the post and there was, in essence, nothing they could do about it.  Yesterday, McCain agreed he is open to having Rice as Secretary of State.

Let's face it: The Republicans have no say so.  Yes, they control the House, but Rice's nomination only has to be cleared by the Senate.  As I said right after the election, from now on whatever Obama wants, Obama gets.  As they say at the track, "The fix is in."  And as far as Benghazi goes, it really wasn't a massacre; it was just a "bump in the road."  Remember?

Suck it up.

That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
