When any of us are asked to name the ten best and most positively influential people living in America, we are most certainly stumped; just try for five. And this is all in the context that we have the most far-reaching access to information ever in the history of mankind through television, the Internet and print.
Either far more stupid people are being born in this country, the more intelligent ones are hiding under rocks or in caves, or people are not taking advantage of the wealth of information to inform themselves and make good choices at the polls. Well, we all know what that answer is.
Every day we hear about incredibly dumb decisions made by politicians and judges in cities and states everywhere, including Washington. The lunacy runs from those who refuse to do anything until their backs are against the wall, to those who have knee-jerk reactions and don't hesitate to use their powers to oppress, oppress and oppress. Yet, we seem to be content to shake our heads in amazement and shrug these bodacious things off. Why?
We do have a very bad and contagious crisis of irresponsible leadership across our nation. At the same time, there is a national consensus of opinion: the country is going to hell in a hand-basket. My assertion is that we can no longer afford ourselves the luxury of sitting on the sidelines and carping about it; we simply have to do something.
Both sides of my family tree go all of the way back into the 1600's in this country. It was drilled into me from an early age that living in the greatest nation on the face of the earth requires a personal commitment to give back to the common good in some manner, whether it be as a crossing guard for the school, active membership in a community service organization, a spokesman for American ideals, a campaign worker or as an elected official. Those who did so would be admired and suffer the benefits of "what goes around, comes around;" those who did not would inevitably become drags on the country.
While good, strong leadership is essential to the well-being and sustenance of our country, good leadership starts at the grass roots level, with people like you and me. We're the ones who have the duty to step forward and initiate the process of returning good and proactive leadership to all segments of our governmental structure.
If we won't do it, who will?

Is this a government trick, or Obama treat?
Ebola spreads through coughing and sneezing much like influenza,
which most experts agree is spread “mainly by droplets made when people
with flu cough, sneeze or talk,” according to documents prepared by the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention. “Droplet spread happens when germs traveling inside droplets that
are coughed or sneezed from a sick person enter the eyes, nose, or mouth
of another person,” the CDC Ebola flyer, released on Monday, states.
There's not one damned thing you can trust this psycho Obama government to say. They've been lying on this for weeks, insisting that you have to be in personal contact with body fluids. Do we really want these Democrat-zombie, Obama-stooge Congressional people around for even 24 more hours, let-alone two more years?

We're in the final days before the November 4, 2014 midterm elections and we're hearing many reports that the Republicans "have it in the bag." Suddenly, even the liberal outlets are saying that the Democrats in Congress and the Senate in particular are... toast.
Now, why would they say that?
We know that they are out there on the streets and on the phones in droves, working their base and trying desperately to get Democrats out to vote. If they can lull the rest of Americans to stay home on Election Day on the premise that the Republicans "have it in the bag," they can pull off another victory like they did in 2012.
So, it is indeed all up to you. If you are sick and tired of the lies, excuses and spins of this government, the only way you can end it is to get out and vote.
You don't have a choice.

There's been a lot of talk lately about increasing the minimum wage. I think the situation needs some realistic examination and analysis.
Yes, the minimum wage is geared at those just getting into the work force and no, it is not intended to be a lifelong wage. Now comes the BUT...
Up until about 2008, those working these jobs were either part-time going to school, or full time with some benefits and making more than the minimum by that time. Then things changed. ObamaCare came along and many of the businesses cut everyone back to part-time so they didn't have to get into more expensive benefits and/or pay fines. At the same time, unemployment soared and a whole ton of people were happy to get those part-time jobs at minimum wage just to keep food on the table.
Who invented ObamaCare? While the percentage of unemployment is down, the number of people needing a job has gone up; who do you blame for that? The answer is, if you'll take a moment to verify what I'm, saying... It's all due to Obama and the Senate Democrats. The plain simple fact of the matter is that we need to jump-start the economy and jump-start employment, just as we need to cancel ObamaCare.
So, how do you correct the problem? It's too late to correct the Obama tragedy, but you can still get off your duff and go vote the Democrats out. Target the people who are started this mess. Do not be one of those sitting in front of the tube in December wondering why the country is upside down... DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

I've always believed that one of the primary functions of our government is to protect its citizens; that means to protect you and me from war, from disease, from poverty and from oppression. When you fail at doing these things for any reason, you are a failed government leader regardless of what your status is among the bureaucratic largess.
If you have problems with crime or domestic terrorism, you don't take away guns from law-abiding citizens; you encourage them and facilitate their possession and training in the use of guns. If a country has a deadly and contagious disease, you do not invite the afflicted into this country which doesn't have such a plague; you don't increase the possibility that citizens could contract the disease. If deadly terrorists are running around threatening to destroy the American way of life and actually beheading people to prove their intentions, you don't treat the matter as if you were in a tuxedo and picking up dog shit; you expend whatever ammunition you have and whatever effort it takes to put an end to the threat, permanently.
These are the simple duties of a government and its representatives; yet, simple as they may be, our President and his Democratic lackeys in Congress have failed miserably at the task. Plainly speaking, it's leadership like this that got Custer into trouble at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. You are supposed to hire good people to be around you, listen to their advice and act proactively to stem off the threats of massacre before people start dying.
That this President and his self-absorbed cohorts would stoop so low as to put their political interests ahead of their within stated obligations to the country is beyond shameful. They're all trick, and definitely no treat.

PERSONAL LIBERTY is reporting: "Those 30,000 Wal-Mart employees who are losing their health insurance
aren’t alone. There’s another huge wave of cancellations of health
plans coming.
"Fox News reported that 13 states and the District of
Columbia are cancelling plans that are not in compliance with the
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as
Obamacare. Virginia will be the hardest hit, with some 250,000 families
losing their health insurance.
"Of course, all of the plans being
canceled now weren’t in compliance a year ago. But back then, President
Obama asked that they be granted a reprieve from enforcement. That is
now coming to an end. As a result, hundreds of thousands more people
will lose their health insurance."
Obama knew that this day was coming months ago, and deliberately postponed its impact until after the November elections. In short, the disastrous legislation has been an ongoing crime against Americans, its heavy-handed maneuvers certainly reminiscent of Chicago Mob tactics. And we're now faced with another damned Obama lie, that the overwhelming majority of Americans support ObamaCare.
Do us all a favor: Vote against those who voted for ObamaCare. Let's get the trash our of Congress.

As a result of the Canadian attacks in Ottawa it has been revealed that Canadian law allows for the revoking of passports of known terrorists who are Canadian citizens. The gunman in the shootings there had had his passport revoked; that didn't stop him from his terrorist shootings, but it had stopped his travel back and forth between Canada and I.S.I.S.
The United States has no such provisions in its law. As a result, U.S. citizens who convert to radical Islam are able to freely travel back and forth between the U.S. and the Middle East, enabling them to learn new tactics of terror and to obtain orders and instruction. Even without such a passport, domestic terrorists are free to travel in and out of the U.S. across our southern border.
We have laws which deal with terrorism; 18 US Code 113B is the prime example. All we have to do is amend that law to include provisions for:
- Temporary suspension of passport pending investigation and resolution of charges
- Permanent revocation of passport upon conviction under 18 US Code 113B
And, of course, we need to close down our southern border by adding 1,500 to 2,000 more troops down there until more border agents can be hired and trained. I believe we should also cut any U.S. aid to Mexico until it participates in the border closure.
Our Congress and the President in particular have a Constitutional duty to protect us and the nation from all threats, both foreign and domestic. The Senate Democrats and the President have both failed miserably in this task; in fact, actions which they have undertaken have made it much easier from those who would plot against us to succeed.
- Pull those damned passports.
- Close the Mexican border.
- Get rid of the Senate Democrats and hamstring the President.
Let's protect ourselves from terrorism, drug trafficking and disease.

In an ugly, last-minute attempt to save themselves from an ugly result in the November 4 elections, Democrats are playing the race card in attempt to get Black voters to the polls.
One Black says: "I am a 59-year-old African American man, born and raised in Jacksonville, and now living with my family in New Bern. I
am insulted by the arrogance of the Democratic candidates during this
election because they talk to us through their advertisements as if we
are stupid...I was shocked to hear the radio commercial that
featured a couple of ladies suggesting the Republicans were trying to
take away the rights of African Americans to vote. The voter ID
initiative,(if that’s what they’re referring to) is to preserve the
integrity of the vote, and a photo ID can be acquired for free through
the North Carolina DMV...These things do not invoke trust
within me or many of my friends for the current Obama administration.
The Democrats are spending an awful lot of money on negative ads
designed to discredit Republicans. Why would anyone choose that kind of
strategy over one that highlights their own accomplishments?"
He raises a good question: Why aren't Democratic candidates running on their own merits? Perhaps they've discovered that they don't have any.

Ronald Reagan often spoke abut our "rendezvous with destiny." He spoke in vivid terms about how our unchecked government could take over our lives and interfere with our liberties. He spoke about an elitist government, a government that believes it can decide how you live your life better than you can. And he spoke relentlessly about the steady drumbeat of Marxism, Progressiveness and even Communism in the halls of our nation's capitol. In short, he argued, unless Americans rise up and take control for themselves, those who stand to lose the most will surely lose it.
He was correct and the day has now arrived.
This election cannot be defined in terms of popularity of the candidates; it must be defined on the basis of individual freedoms and liberties, and our abilities to make our own decisions about who we are and how we are going to live our lives. We all know that we are unhappy with Congress, our President and our government. I submit to you that the real reason for our displeasure is that we know our government is screwing up, refusing to listen to us; our ship of state is floundering in a very stormy sea.
Yet, the ability to regain our more conservative and responsible footing is right here, in our hands. By voting in November to throw the evil-doers out of office, we have the ability to stop the train of Marxism and Progressiveness; we have the ability to rescue our freedoms from the grips of elitist totalitarianism. We have the ability to harness the runaway presidency that is destroying our country.
We can and we must regain control.

President Obama is laying the groundwork to use an Executive Order to circumvent Congressional authority and to grant total amnesty to all illegals, (both recent and prior), in this country, according to informed sources. Obama is also planning to issue official government identification cards to all illegals. The Administration is actively seeking bids from firms who can prepare and issue the identification cards in enormous quantities.
The request for proposals says the agency will need a minimum of four
million cards per year; in the “surge,” scenario in 2016, the agency
would need an additional five million cards, more than double the
baseline annual amount, for a total of 9 million.
The arrogant audacity of this Administration never ceases to amaze me. This is certainly one more reason why we must take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that the Democrats soundly lose their Senate majority during this election cycle. Get out and vote!

American President Barack Hussein Obama, faced with enormous problems just before the midterm elections such as Ebola, I.S.I.S., Ebola, Iran, Ebola, Benghazi, Ebola, immigration, Ebola, Russia, Ebola, the V.A., Ebola and Ebola... has reacted with a firm hand and announced that the biggest problem facing the nation today is global warming and he is totally committed and determined to defeat it.
Gosh... do you sometimes get the feeling, as I do, that he needs to have his tree examined? Well, I decided to do something about it and started calling tree experts yesterday. I managed to call 114 tree experts across the country and they all categorically refused to take the job. "Some cases are just totally untreatable," lamented one tree expert from Iowa. "I'd rather clean my navel than tackle this problem."
I hear through the Washington grapevine that Obama is going to ask Congress for $1 trillion to deal with global warming. He plans to immediately send 3,000 troops to Iceland's Holuhraun Volcano to take care of that imminent threat to global warming. He's also naming a new Global Warming Czar, Alphonso Gore, to coordinate activities. "Until we defeat global warming, nothing else in the world today can be solved," Obama asserted from the 12th green at Augusta National Golf Course. "I don't care if we have to spend $2 trillion or even $5 trillion, we simply have to win this war." He then proceeded to sink a 15 inch putt and gave his caddie, Tiger Woods, a high-five, then marking down an eight for the par-three hole.
I've finally decided that the entire Obama Presidency can be summed up in one word: ludicrous. Just ludicrous.

Here we are, just a couple of weeks before the midterm elections. The major issues going into this election cycle have been the I.R.S., the V.A., Benghazi, the borders, ObamaCare, I.S.I.S. and gay marriage. But, those issues are totally out of the news; the only subject being discussed is Ebola.
Why is that? Is it by design? Are the press, media and White House simply trying to change the subject? Or, has Ebola become the focal point of the failures of the Senate Democrats and Barack Hussein Obama?

The second nurse who contracted Ebola and who flew from Cleveland to Dallas on Frontier Airlines, was cleared for the flight by CDC. CDC was quick to say that at the time she flew from Dallas to Cleveland she exhibited no symptoms and they are now changing their flight clearance policy.
But, "don't worry and fear not," according to CDC and the White House. More lies, spins and coverups seem to be the continuing order of the day. Damn this Administration and everyone in it, and damn Congress for not getting back to Washington for a day or two to deal with this national crisis and lack of responsible Executive Branch leadership.

The second healthcare worker at the Dallas Hospital where Thomas Duncan died from Ebola has now been diagnosed with the disease. At the same time, the hospital is now admitting it was unprepared to deal with Ebola at all. Dozens more of hospital workers may have been exposed to the disease and are now on the "watch" list.
So much for the Administration's insistent claims that they have had everything under control. Anyone who believes anything this government administration says about anything needs to have his/her head examined.
Where are the President and Congress during this national emergency?

The city of Houston is demanding that all churches turn over all sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or the city's first openly lesbian mayor. This is not the first time government has intruded into religious freedom; the I.R.S. has taken the position that if the pastor of any church utters one political word the church may lose its tax-exempt status. In other words, if you are a religious organization or person, you have no inherent liberty of speech.
It's called oppression.
If you do not understand the implications of these moves, you need to study what the haps were in Germany before Hitler became dictator, or in Russia before Stalin.
If we are going to change the way things are going and bring responsibility back to government, we are going to have to change the players. November 4th is just around the corner. Are you registered?

FOX NEWS is reporting disturbing new photos of ethnic Kurds killed by Islamic State
fighters are stoking fears that the terrorist army may be using chemical
weapons seized from Saddam Hussein’s old arsenals. The pictures, obtained by the Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA),
show the bodies of Syrian Kurds who appear to have been gassed by ISIS
in the besieged Kobani region this July. That fighting came just one
month after Islamic State forces surged through the once-notorious
Muthanna compound in Iraq, the massive base where Hussein began
producing chemical weapons in the 1980s, which he used to kill thousands
of Kurds in Halabja in northern Iraq in 1988.
Right off the bat, we know that this supposition is an impossibility. Although claims of weapons of mass destruction supposedly owned by Hussein were abundant, none were ever found. The Democrats made hay out of that story in the 2008 elections, and since they are the epitome of all-knowing, all-seeing pricks of the universe, it certainly must be true such chemical weapons did not exist in Hussein's Iraq.
So, I find it difficult, if not impossible, to believe that those I.S.I.S. guys who pose no threat to the United States or any of our allies, could or would use chemical weapons against their enemies. Fear not; Obama, the real all-seeing and all-knowing omnipotent one is here.

Every day, I am besieged by citizens who are more than fed up with the greed, abuse of power and corruption in Washington. The level of disgust with our elected "servants" has reached a thunderous roar. The level of approval of Congress has reached its lowest point in history.
Well folks, I have to tell it like it is: I can't do anything about it. Unlike our President, I don't pretend to be omnipotent. I don't have any power to change things. But, WE do.
We know from experience that we cannot do anything about it by sitting on our duffs and watching MTV. And we know from experience that those who want to continue the perversion of our government for their own uses will be making every effort to get their cohorts and zombie followers out to vote on November 4th. In 2012, those who were tired of change simply stayed at home, thinking they had the election in the bag; Obama and his goons won reelection.
If we really don't like the Members of Congress, and all of the polls say we don't, then we need to take to the voting booths ourselves in large and ominous numbers and vote these sorry sacks of cow dung out of office.
Our future is in our hands. Let's not fumble the ball.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee says he will leave the GOP if
Republicans abandon their ardent opposition to gay marriage and
abortion. “Because at that point, you lose me,” Huckabee said. “I’m gone. I’ll
become an independent. I’ll start finding people that have guts to
stand. I’m tired of this.”
Well said, sir. It's time this country got back to the fundamental values upon which this country was founded, and upon which we have survived for 238 years. The continuing chips on those values by the disgusting liberal left have contributed immensely to the decline and approaching fall of the United States.
We need to remember what they are doing to this country when we cast our votes in the mid-term elections. A big tip of the hat and thanks to Mr. Huckabee for telling it like it should be.

California Congressman Duncan Hunter says at least ten I.S.I.S. members have already been apprehended at the U.S. - Mexico border. How many have managed to slip through is not known. “They caught them at the border, therefore we know that ISIS is coming
across the border,” Hunter says. “If they catch five or ten of them
then you know there’s going to be dozens more that did not get caught
by the border patrol.” Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey said in August that the open southern border poses an "immediate threat" of terrorism within the United States.
The steadfast, obstinate refusal of this President to listen to the American will and close the border can no longer be tolerated. Those members of Congress who continue support and/or ignore Obama's failure to act on this issue simply must be removed from office in November.
Please do your duty to your country and vote accordingly.

Here's a tidbit of Washington news that didn't make the circuit last week: President Barack Obama hosted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 29th and put forth a lavish feast of crisped halibut, avocado, goat cheese and more... with mango crème brulee for dessert.
The problem? Modi was in the middle of a nine-day religious fast and had to sit at the table with a glass of water while others partook of the fete. So much for the cultural differences among people that Obama insists he respects to the nth degree. He's just soooo cool.

We have every right to be fearful of I.S.I.S. and Ebola. However, there are two other epidemics which have been brewing and are now infesting our nation, and they are undoubtedly more dangerous to our country than I.S.I.S. and Ebola combined. I'm talking about the SOYA and IDCA epidemics that no one is willing to even talk about.
SOYA, (Sitting on Your Ass) and IDCA, (I Don't Care Anymore), have reared their ugly hides in every state of the union and among all walks of life. The rich, the poor and the middle class alike are being attacked and overcome by these two dangerous epidemics. No one wants to go to the polls and exercise their obligations as Americans; when faced with an out-of-control, oppressive government people are simply shrugging their shoulders and saying, "I don't care anymore."
These epidemics struck Germany before Hitler, Russia before Stalin, Iraq before Hussein and France before Napoleon. If history teaches us anything, it is that these epidemics have struck the United States before Obama.
Is there a vaccine against these diseases? Is there a cure? Fortunately, the answer is a solid and unmistakable "Yes." The antidotes are known as GOYA and DSAI, (Get off Your Ass and Do Something About It). Even Jesus knew fully well that in order to get the attention of the multitudes and to recruit Christians, he had to get off his ass and do something about it.
Take the cure. Start paying attention now to what is going on with our democracy and plan on voting in November. Vote out those who stand behind our pretending dictator; Stomp out SOYA and IDC now, and forever.

The Obama Administration trumpets started blasting in full force late Thursday and into Friday and the weekend, assuring us that no Ebola outbreak or epidemic would ever happen in the United States. And, everyone involved flatly refused to curtail flights from African nations into the U.S. or to impose any temporary quarantine prior to making such flights.
"Well," they say, "He's only one and it turns out our security screening was just fine, because he lied on his application to travel." Huh? He has to suspect he has Ebola because he's been in such close contact with a patient who died from it and where is he going to get the best care; why wouldn't he lie on his travel papers? You call a verbal questionnaire a "screening?"
Oh, there has yet to be any Ebola case that has originated in the U.S., so everything is under control. How do we know that until those he has been in contact with go through the incubation period? And they have 50 of his contacts under observation, four in enforced quarantine; another 50 or more people could have been in contact with him. And there are dozens of flights into the U.S. from African nations every week with 200 or more occupants on each one.
All of these "assurances" come from the mouths of those who told us Al Qaeda was defeated and that it was safe to bring our troops home... those who told us you could keep your health plan and your doctor and that your premiums would actually go down under ObamaCare.
Why have Britain and France both put flight restrictions into effect? Let me ask you: If you knew of an I.S.I.S. terrorist who had beheaded people and you knew he was on a plane headed to the United States, wouldn't you be mad as hell at our security protocols? Well, what is the difference between him and an Ebola carrier?
The more they insist that everything is hunky dory, the more convinced I am that it is not. With these lying, spinning and incompetent dungholes in charge, don't you dare tell me not to be afraid.

PATRIOT.COM is reporting that a former top North Korean official says Kim Jong-Un is no longer in control of North Korea. Pyongyang is reportedly under lock-down and the President has not been seen publicly for days. "The Country’s Organization and Guidance Department (OGD), a powerful
group of officials, have stopped taking orders from Kim Jong-un. A
battle is simmering between factions within the OGD."
Gosh, what will we do without that affable little runt around? Maybe we could send Obama over there to take over their country for them and to help them out. They could use a good healthcare plan.
Frankly, I think the news is too good to be true.

When the news broke that the U.S. had its first Ebola case, the C.D.C. was quick to say that it was only one case, that it had been contained and there should be no cause for alarm. Word then leaked that the victim, from Liberia, had actually gone to a hospital for treatment several days earlier, been diagnosed as having a low grade fever and sent home, although he had informed everyone that he was just back from Africa.
By Wednesday, fears that his family might be infected caused members to be confined to their Dallas apartment. Still, government officials were insisting that everything was under control and that no cause for concern existed. Yet, by yesterday over 100 people were known to have been in contact with the victim; how many people they have been in contact with is not known at this time. If each of those 100 has been in contact with just 50 people, we have 5,000 more potential Ebola cases on our hands.
The real worry here is that the Obama Administration has a lengthy history of lying to the people. Just how many more people do we already have in the country that are known to be infected with the Ebola virus? We've heard of several possible cases, but follow-up news regarding them has virtually disappeared.
Knowing that Ebola exists in Africa, why hasn't the government established a protocol for screening out potential carriers of the virus before they enter the U.S.? Even now, after we know the first case has appeared, why hasn't the government rushed to establish effective and meaningful screening procedures?
The C.D.C., Texas Governor Rick Perry and everyone else involved is repeating that everything is okay and pleading for us not to be alarmists. With this Administration, I can't help but to be reminded of the same statements that were being made by the Nazis while they were marching Jews to death camps. I'm sorry to be cynical and worried, but I have to ask: "When is the last time Obama told this country the truth about anything?"
I'm staying on my mountain, far away from people. I will never get into an airplane, bus or other mode of mass transportation while this epidemic takes hold, and I am going to stay away from all crowds and anyone who has been traveling, especially overseas. And, I suppose I should have to apologize to the C.D.C. for suggesting that their advice to the effect that washing your hands regularly will prevent Ebola is simply not true.
What IS true is that our government seems to be totally impotent when it comes to protecting us from I.S.I.S., illegal immigration, Ebola and any other danger. We simply have to change faces in Washington in November.

After over six months since the imprisonment, why hasn't President Obama spoken with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto about the plight of Marin Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi who is stuck in a Mexican jail? Could it be that he has had an intelligence failure... that he doesn't know because he hasn't read the papers? Maybe with all of the flack he's been getting from Rush Limbaugh, he's been distracted? Or, could it be that he's been so busy trying to clean up the pile of messes he's created that he simply hasn't had the time?
No way, Jose. The question was brought up in a White House Press Conference and we got the scoop: Obama has decided that the matter should be handled by the State Department. Has he bothered to call anyone at the State Department to see what the haps are? Well, uh.... no, he HAS been too busy to do THAT.
Let's see... how many rounds of golf has the President played over the last six months? Does he not have access to a cell phone while he's on the golf course? Oh, I forgot that he has to do fundraisers.
It's obvious to even this low man on the conservative totem pole that Obama couldn't care less about a decorated ex-Marine. Sorry about that, Andrew; you don't matter to this President unless you're an illegal alien.

Faced with a group of Syrian rebels who probably cannot be successfully trained to tackle a ground war against I.S.I.S. and also with an Iraqi army that has an ominous history of running into the bushes, Obama is said to be ready to sign a pact with Iran wherein Iran would be allowed to complete its nuclear weapons program in return for their help in defeating the terrorist organization.
This proposition is certainly not palatable and I was about to say that I could not fathom the possibility that Obama was even considering it. But now, on second thought, I think Obama will go for it.
Will you let him do it?
