The way he tells the story, sequestration is an idea drummed up by the conservatives to ruin the nation. If it is allowed to take effect, he insists, the ranks of the FBI will be cut, courts will be shut down, the nation will be left defenseless, national emergencies will go unmet, social security checks will stop, satellite service will stop, and he won't be able to play golf next Sunday.
How can a man who professes to be a Christian born in America tell such outright lies? Is he not afraid that God will strike him dead? Or, as I have said in this blog many times, maybe he really does believe that he is omnipotent.
Sequestration was an Obama brainstorm devised to try and force the Republicans to cave in to the decisions of his special committee on the budget last summer. It was one of many tactics Obama has employed over the last four years to get his dictatorial way on everything he wants. Now that it is backfiring on him, he seeks to blame the Republicans for inventing it in the first place. Furthermore, NO President, not even Obama, is going to put himself in the position of cutting public safety, stopping social security checks or shutting down the Internet; the political ramifications would be horrendous. He reminds me of the bully on the school campus, running home to cry to mama that Johnny hit him when, in fact, he himself struck the first blow.
The fact is that, under the American Taxpayer Relief Act, P.L. 112-240, which delayed the sequestration cuts until March 1, 2013 and reduced them by $24 billion for Fiscal Year 2013, certain programs, such as Social Security, military pay, Veterans benefits, Medicaid, Food Stamps, and Medicare Part D are exempt from sequester cuts. So, Obama not only fibs, but he lies big-time and tries to scare you by suggesting that your house might burn down because there would be no firemen to respond.
A man who refuses to take the responsibility for his own actions, a man who instills fear in the hearts of man as a method of maintaining control, a man who surrounds himself in secrecy and refuses to prove who he is or isn't... such a man must surely be born of the devil, because his soul is filled with evil.
