The Navy Seal who shot Bin Laden is getting the Royal Shaft according to THE BLAZE. For obvious reasons, his identity must remain top secret. But, he's now getting out of the Navy after 16 years of dedicated service during which he accumulated a lot of scars. “No one who fights for this country overseas should ever have to fight for a job,” Barack Obama said last Veterans’ Day, “or a roof over their head, or the care that they have earned when they come home.”
But, as he's getting out of the military, this is what he is getting: Nothing. No pension, no health care, and no protection for himself or his family. The only assistance the shooter was offered was a witness-protection program where the national hero would be “driving a beer truck in Milwaukee.” The family would have to end all connections to their former life. The government position is that he did not have a medical discharge and is therefore unqualified for any pension or assistance because he did not serve a minimum of 20 years active duty.
Where does a guy who has been extensively trained in special military operations get a job? When will a grateful nation get up and stand behind the man who rid the world of a demon like Bin Laden?
