EPILOGUE TO AN EPIPHANY

SPECIAL POST

Yesterday, I spoke about my epiphany.  Today, I need to add something to it that is equally, if not more profound, as if that's possible.

If I've been asked the question once, it's been at least 10,000 times since The Omnipotent One took office in 2009: "How do we get rid of Obama?" The frequency of that question is increasing already in his second term.  I'll admit, I've asked myself that same question time and time again.  In the final analysis, though, getting rid of Obama is not the answer.  You see, if we get rid of Obama, someone else equally as bad for the country will soon come along and some electorate, not recognizing him for being the charlatan that he is, will elect him.

You also have to ask yourself, "Will getting rid of Obama get rid of gun violence?  The miscreants in Congress? Abortions? Immigration problems? Child pornography? Escalating taxes?  The breakdown in the family unit?  The answer, of course, is a resounding "No way."

Another saying I've heard hundreds of times is, "America will never be the country it once was."  Put another way, "Let's just give up."

Having had my epiphany, I now submit to you that the fact that we would elect and tolerate such a President as Barack Hussein Obama, who refuses to prove who he is, is just one more symptom like those I listed above, of our neglect... yes, "our neglect."  In getting to the root of the problem, which we must identify before we can fix it, we have to take a long and hard look at what we have allowed ourselves to become in this country.  In doing so, the light will come on.

We need to work diligently toward restoring the power, the values and the greatness of our country.  Through those efforts, all of the rest of the problems on this page and those I failed to list will evaporate into thin air.  Every time we look evil in the face, the things that tore this country down, we must stand up for who we are and what we really want to represent.  Every decision we make as individuals and as states must be made with the objective in mind of restoring our country to what it once was, a beacon of freedom, liberty and justice at home and abroad.

That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
