I'm sure you've heard about the "Deep State," the unofficial alliance of political progressives in our government and the multitudes of government employees who are committed to bringing down the Trump Presidency and destroying our Constitution. On the one hand, we have government leaders such as Paul Ryan who are covertly trying to destroy Trump; Ryan deliberately, I think, sabotaged Trump's attempt to redo health care and is now saying he will not allow federal money to be used to build the border wall that we, the people, voted for when we put Trump in office.
How does he hold onto his job? Could it be, as it most likely is, that other anti-Trump Representatives stand in the way of his removal?
Secondly, there are some 3.4 million employees in the government, (including the military). I would venture a guess that 2.4 million of them feel that it is they who run the government and not the elected members of Congress or the President... or even the Supreme Court for that matter. As a result, Trump is in their way and that is why you see selective leaks of information designed to make him look bad. These are the people who will flauntingly obfuscate or circumvent any plans on the part of elected officials that are contrary to their own agendas. The government is infested with people who do little or no work and who use their spare time to plot and plan against anything and everything that doesn't serve their own selfish interests... and we are paying them.
The government has gotten so large and powerful that it has evolved from being the servant of the people into becoming the dictator of the people. And as long as we dummy up and keep our mouths shut, it is only going to get worse.
Our government needs a major overhaul... or should I say... the people in our government need major shock treatment. It is up to us to heal this cancer that has invaded our personal lives, our rights and our liberties, and we have to start today. No president, not even Trump, can accomplish this task without the full engagement and support of the people.
