WHEN REALITY SMACKS YOU IN THE FACE

SPECIAL POST

The terrorist slayings in Paris bring home a brutal fact: wherever there is a radical Muslim, he or she wants to kill you unless, of course, you're a Muslim.  This is true in France, Russia, Venezuela... anywhere around the globe including the United States.  It matters not whether you are Christian, Jew, Buddhist,  Hindu... if you are not Muslim, you are an infidel and must be slain.

The world is engaged in a religious war, whether it realizes it or not.  We must all come to grips with that fact.  The Muslim next door may be the nicest guy on the face of the earth to you, but if he is or becomes radicalized he will kill you in a heartbeat and it will be your head rolling down the sidewalk.

It's not like an army of radical Muslims is going to come storming into your town, either.  Yes, that could happen, but the odds are that we are going to see many, many small groups or lone wolves attacking our infrastructure, our transportation systems, our churches, our monuments and our businesses in the coming days, weeks and months.  And even with all of this fancy talk about the Department of Homeland Security, don't be fooled; we are totally unprepared to fight a religious war.  Furthermore, we have a president who has said in the past that if it comes right down to it, he will stand with the Muslims.

In his book, "THE AUDACITY OF HOPE," Obama said this regarding Muslims: "They need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

It appears that in this battle, the religious battle of "infidels vs. Islam," our government under this president may well leave us Americans fending for ourselves.

And that, my fellow citizen, is the reality smacking you in the face.  No wonder Obama wants to ban guns in this country.

That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
