Anyone who thinks that a terrorist attack like the once taking place in Paris yesterday cannot occur in the United States has not been paying attention to the blase attitude of our president toward terrorism.
You will recall that he declared the war against Al Qaeda to be over a couple of years ago; he treated I.S.I.S. as a minor nuisance until the beheadings started. You understand that he operates a "catch and release" program toward terrorists and that he has no problems releasing top 9/11 terrorists from Guantanamo on what has become an almost daily basis. You should be informed that the Department of Homeland Security was recently found to be "hopelessly inadequate" in doing its job.
Our borders are wide open, we allow suspected terrorists to use American Mosques as bases of operation and we give mere lip service to the potential of terrorist acts in our country.
You can expect a severe and serious act of terrorism to occur in the U.S. in the not-too-distant future. One of these days, hopefully sooner rather than later, the world is going to have to come to grips with the fact that terrorism and everyone involved with it has to be eliminated from life on earth... no matter what it takes to get the job done.
And we can no longer afford the luxury of allowing a weenie president to stand in the way.
