Hussein proposes that Gitmo simply must be closed because it costs us too much per prisoner to keep it open. He must be doing acid again.
These guys are terrorists to the nth degree. They rape, plunder, butcher, lop off heads... every waking moment of every day, they plot how to carry forth their evil deeds. They are already guilty of atrocities you cannot imagine.
Now then, would you release Charles Manson from prison because it costs too much to keep him there? Would you close San Quentin on the same basis? Why not?
The argument is beyond ludicrous. There are only two ways to deal with scum like the people in Gitmo... keep them there until they die or slaughter them as they would do to you.
If this is the way the Hussein in the White House truly thinks, he himself should pack his bags and head for Syria or Iran. After all, he IS doing everything he can to prevent their capture... isn't he? He won't stick boots on the ground, he won't commit the military to going after terrorists and eliminating them; if he's not protecting them, then just what IS he doing?
