SPECIAL POST
Citing the potential risk of injury and lawsuits, the city of Dubuque is banning sledding.
Our federal government has enacted enough dumb and ridiculous laws on its own; now we have states and cities joining in too? Why don't they ban walking across a street; you might get hit by a city bus. Why not ban riding bicycles, riding elevators, amusement parks, swings and... as Bloomberg tried in New York City, 32-ounce drink containers?
I've got a better idea: why don't we ban city councils, county and state governments and Washington from enacting any laws... any laws at all... for the next 24 months? Come on, give us a break!
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
