A furor has erupted in Washington: House Speaker John Boehner had the utter temerity to invite Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu to address both Houses of Congress in February on the subjects of Iran and terrorism, and he didn't ask Obama for permission to do so.
"Good God!" his minions moan, "This is a matter of State Department and presidential protocol."
So, Boehner has sidestepped the White House? I mean, it's not like Obama and his thugs have never sidestepped Congress, you know. What's even more infuriating is that Netanyahu accepted... also without getting Obama's permission.
Now comes the coop de grass, or coup de gras as they say in Kenya... It is said that White House staffers immediately extended an invitation for Netanyahu to vist with the President during his trip and... Netanyahu declined.
Good for Netanyahu, good for Boehner; it's time Obama got a dose of his own medicince. Maybe this move will tighten up his shorts a tad...
