SHORT SHOTS FROM NORTH KOREA

SPECIAL POST

The sawed-off little runt, would-be world tyrant-dictator Kim Jong Un fired off four short-range missiles over the weekend.  The shots occur as an apparent provocation during what should be diplomatic discussions over how to end the constant snotty-nosed-kid rhetoric from the Korean Peninsula.  And, let's face it, that is really all he is: a midget who thinks he is powerful.

Well, just as it appears that no one here is going to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions, I'm reasonably certain that no one in Washington is go to stop North Korea, either.  There's been a whole lot of "fretting" and yakking going on, but that's about all.  That having been said, why do we continue with the pretense of sanctions?  Why don't we just stop the sanctions and save ourselves the aggravation?

Now then, the point is that "Shorty" seems to be getting his way, which should be adequate encouragement for every belligerent anti-American government in the world to do the same.  In fact, we are obviously backing down from Kim Jong Un; we're on the verge of reducing our stockpile of strategic weapons.

There's nothing like putting ourselves in the position of having another tyrant holding a gun to our heads.

That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
