WARNING TO OBAMA

SPECIAL POST

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi brokered a cease-fire between Gaza's Hamas and Israel last week, then seized broad new powers from the Egyptian government for himself.  There was an immediate uproar, some claiming he wants to be a modern-age Egyptian Pharaoh.  Threats from Egyptian judges to call in the military and remove Morsi came out yesterday.  The president granted himself sweeping powers to "protect the revolution" and made himself immune to judicial oversight.

Egypt's highest court, the "Supreme Judicial Council," call Morsi's decrees an unprecedented judicial assault; other Egyptian courts put on a work stoppage until the powers are lifted.  Angry demonstrators took to the streets protesting Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood.  Later, pro-Morsi demonstrators also made their appearance.  The resulting clashes could cause the government to disintegrate and go back under total military control.

The warning to Barack Obama is clear: Should he continue to hold himself out as the new American pharaoh, it is probable that he also will come under fire for evading our Constitution and usurping the powers of Congress.  This country is a tinder-box full of patriotic citizens who are ready for a fight.

That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
