SPECIAL POST
THE BLAZE is reporting that Islamist militants are using the cover of residential dwellings and
civilian facilities, such as water reservoirs, in which to hide their
military assets in an effort to prevent future attack by the Israeli
military, according to a senior Israeli official and an Israeli media
report. Missiles are allegedly being stored in and next to Mosques, particularly by Hamas in Lebanon, which reportedly has over 100,000 missiles and rockets poised to strike Israel.
I have no idea why this is not being reported by the mainstream media, except that it flies in the face of Obama Administration claims that terrorism, and Al Qaeda in particular, is on the wane.
Now for the real questions: Are any Mosques in the United States being used for the collection and storing of weapons which can be used against us? Is there a terrorist cell near you?

I CAN'T BELIEVE HE SAID THAT
SPECIAL POST
In his State of the Union Speech and with reference to Iran, Obama said: "If John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan could negotiate with the Soviet Union, then surely a strong and confident America can negotiate with less powerful adversaries today."
Well, Mr. Obama, let me say this: "I've been a proud American citizen under both President Kennedy and President Reagan and you, Mr. President, are no John F. Kennedy or Ronald Regan.... Period."

NEW GOVERNMENT MINIMUM WAGE IS INDEED HARMFUL
SPECIAL POST
I've heard it said many times on various networks over the past two days: "Obama's use of Executive Powers to raise the minimum wage for employees of government contractors has to impact on America." Baloney.
Obama is reportedly raising the wage paid by government contractors to $10.10 minimum per hour. Now, just who do you think is going to pay that 39% pay hike? Bids for government contracts will be inflated by enough to cover the new minimum wage plus benefits and payroll taxes. The cost of the government purchase of goods and services will therefore go up. You, the taxpayer, will have to fork that dough over.
This unilateral Executive Power action by the President will also increase the upward pressure on the national minimum wage. Faced with higher minimum wages, employers will trim their payrolls even more and also jack up the prices for the goods and services they deliver. Coupled with the constant printing of money by the Federal Reserve, inflation will kick off and it may be rampant inflation.
This ranks as one of the dumbest moves a President has made in decades... almost right up there with ObamaCare.

OBAMA'S IRON CURTAIN
SPECIAL POST
When you isolate yourself from the rest of humanity, you create an impenetrable wall that cuts you off from the ability to carry out social intercourse. The first thing you know, you have no friends, no allies and a whole world that has suspicions about what is going on behind that "wall." If you make any attempt to come out from behind that wall, people put up their hands in self-defense and have a tendency to run in the other direction.
Obama has created his own iron curtain. He ticked off Republicans with his high-handed refusals to discuss ideas to improve health care, and he ticked off Democrats when he twisted their arms and forced them to pass ObamaCare without having time to read it and debate it, and then by hanging them out to dry when things started to go awry. He's built up walls between himself and literally every segment of this American society by calling them out and putting them down. He's waffled on international agreements and treated foreign dignitaries as if they were scum and not worthy of his presence.
He has discovered that he can try to rule this country his way and with an iron fist, but he cannot succeed. He may use brute force and raw power to win his little battles, but he cannot succeed in winning his war to convert America to Marxism. He can cause his enemies pain and grief, but they will persevere.
How lonely it must be there alone in his iron fortress, when everyone he thinks is against him... is.

NEWS THAT GOT BURIED
SPECIAL POST
There was another shooting over the weekend, this one at a mall in Columbia, Maryland. While this post is not about that shooting, the news of the shooting dominated news on Saturday in particular and is therefore responsible for Americans not being informed of two even more ominous events: (1) an Al Qaeda plot to bomb the U.S. Embassy and International Conference Center in Tel-Aviv was uncovered and broken up by Israeli authorities, and (2) a marijuana investigation in Altoona, Pennsylvania led to the discovery of an assembled bomb in the possession of a teenage Russian national.
Al Qaeda has never tried to carried out an attack on Israeli soil. They appear emboldened to be able to carry out more serious attacks in far-reaching, previously untouchable places. The significance of this news is that U.S. intelligence forces have the responsibility, along with U.S. Marines, to protect American embassies overseas. Had the Israeli intelligence system not identified the terrorist cell and taken action, it is entirely probable that the U.S. Embassy in Tel-Aviv would have been bombed. Of course, I have to ask: If that happened, would Obama get on Air Force One and fly off somewhere? Would a crazy video maker be blamed?
Police in Altoona were surprised to run into a bomb in a suitcase in a Russian national's home. He is charged with possessing a weapon of mass destruction, risking a catastrophe, possessing instruments of crime, prohibited offensive weapons, incendiary devices, recklessly endangering another person, and several drug-related charges. The bomb was assembled after the Russian ordered components on-line. Our illustrious NSA claims it needs all of its data so that it can protect our domestic security; so, why didn't they connect these on-line dots? The FBI and Justice Department also bear responsibility; yet, this plot seems to have been close to fruition and would not have been uncovered if the local cops hadn't stumbled on to it. God forbid we would have interrupted NSA webcam and email spying on some little old lady in Pasadena and used them to uncover this plot.
Well, there's a third event worth mentioning at this point: the IRS has been harassing a conservative group in Hollywood. If you add all of this up, what do you get? You get an inept bunch of bumbling idiots in charge of our intelligence and a President intent on getting even with his political enemies. It's beginning to look like Rev. Jeremiah Wright, in his diatribe of "God DAMN America," is having his dream come true.

NEWSPAPER WAR STARTS AGAINST CCW PERMIT HOLDERS
Civitas Media, a North Carolina-based newspaper chain with over 100 newspapers in the U.S., is preparing to gather the names of concealed weapons permit holders in every state according to a FOX NEWS report. Internal memos outline the plan, which would be similar to a controversial project a New York state newspaper
carried out in 2012 that included an online map identifying gun
owners in two counties by name and address.
"They’re saying they’re not going to publish the list, but once the list is compiled, what are they going to do with it?" Chad Baus of the Buckeye Firearms Association asks. “There’s no other purpose for creating these lists but to target and victimize gun owners.”
In my opinion, anybody who buys one of their newspapers supports their agenda and any business which advertises in their publications should be boycotted. As an American, I am sick and tired of these mean-spirited demonizers and their ugly tactics; we need to run them out of the country.

MORE GOVERNMENT OPPRESSION
SPECIAL POST
THE BLAZE reports the IRS has been investigating a group of individuals in Hollywood for over two years. The group, “Friends of Abe,” is a secretive and very private club for one of the rarest commodities in Hollywood: Conservative entertainers. The group applied two years ago for
501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, which is far more restrictive than the
regular 501(c)(4) status requested by many of the conservative groups targeted by the IRS. The application has been under review ever since.
As Eric Holder says, there's no evidence of political use of the IRS for paybacks and retribution. Speaking of the Chicago Mob.....

OUR GOVERNMENT: THUGS IN CHARGE
SPECIAL POST
Back in the late summer of 2011, Congress was dealing with the budget mess and debt ceiling. Standard & Poors, a highly-regarded international credit rating firm, warned that it was considering dropping America's credit rating for the first time in history if the government did not get its financial act in order. As the story goes, top executives at S&P received phone calls from "the Administration" telling the company to back off. On August 11, 2011, S&P did in fact drop the nation's credit rating. That action shocked the world.
In September of 2013, the Department of Treasury filed a $5 billion lawsuit against S&P alleging fraud on the part of the company. The company is now saying in its defense filings that then-Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner called them after the drop in credit-rating and told them they had made a huge mistake and intimated that there would be retribution.
As I remember it, there were a whole lot of people including me who wondered how Obama was going to get even when the credit rating was changed back in 2011. Now we know.
The IRS scandal, the NSA, the DOJ vs. AP scandal, the fraudulent award of the ObamaCare website contract to an Obama friend, the endless use of "Executive Powers" to do end runs around Congress, the unconstitutional appointments of labor bosses to the NLRB... Can there be any doubt now that our nation is in control of thugs? I suppose their next act will be to start taking political prisoners.

VETERANS FACE HUGE SECURITY BREACH
SPECIAL POST
The threats to our personal lives from computer databases continue unabated. It's bad enough with data being compromised at Target and Neiman-Marcus, with the NSA sucking up miniscule tidbits about our lives and with the DHHS and IRS gathering and merging all kinds of details about our finances and health. Now, the Veterans Administration has royally screwed up.
FOX NEWS is reporting that, according to multiple complaints, veterans who logged onto the eBenefits site to check personal claims and benefits information were redirected to other veterans' files. One veteran signed in to look at the status of his claim and got someone else's file. Every time he logged off and signed back in, he got a different file. Names, addresses, bank numbers and medical conditions – both current and past -- were among the information made available via the data breach last week. This isn’t the first time the VA has had a problem with privacy – in 2012, thousands of veterans had their personal information compromised when data was released to Ancestry.com, and posted.
With this revelation will undoubtedly come more "poo-pahs" trying to minimize the significance of the breach. The fact is, everybody has their damned databanks these days. Even going back 15 years, if you had an ATM machine in your business you could have the company supply you with the names, addresses, telephone numbers, amounts withdrawn on particular occasions or in total over periods of time... and you could get the same information about credit card users. That was a trove of marketing information for the business, but customers had no idea what was happening.
The more of these data depositories there are around the country which contain private information about us, the more danger we are in. Computer systems these days have so much memory and processing capacity that I can't even begin to describe it. The upshot is that there is no impetus to clean out data records anymore. And with the "marrying" or merging of different data bases from different businesses and government files, mega-data files are being created today that can dial in to you and provide me with the date you last bought condoms, the brand, where purchased, the amount paid, what hotel or motel you stayed in that night, who was in the room with you, what you had for dinner... Scary, isn't it? Just ask the guys at GOOGLE.
Well, the V.A. has apologized for the error, so I guess we can all sleep well tonight, can't we?

THE NATIONAL SECURITY LIE
SPECIAL POST
Imagine, if you will, the cookie jar full of fresh-baked cookies sitting on the counter. Imagine, if you will, your mother telling you to keep your grubby mitts out of the cookie jar and then leaving you in the kitchen while she busies herself with housework. How long will it be before you sneak a cookie?
Imagine, if you will, the continued collection of tidbits of telephone, computer, email and text message data. Imagine, if you will, government rules saying you cannot touch the treasure-trove of information without "approval." How long will it be before you sneak an unapproved look?
I'm not naive enough to suggest that we should bury our collective heads in the sand when it comes to national security. I'm also not naive enough to believe that this Administration has not been seeking ways to use this information to "get even" with its perceived enemies; by their actions with the IRS and the Justice Department they have already had their hands in that cookie jar.
There are, justifiably, Constitutional limits on the ability of the government to snoop without "due cause." Our forefathers had their own experiences with cookie jars and they were wise enough to understand what dangers there are in the ability for unlimited snooping into citizens' affairs.
Let's cut the spin and hyperbole and get back to the Constitution. If you see the need to change it, change it; otherwise, follow it or subject yourself to legal consequences.

FUKUSHIMA UPDATE
SPECIAL POST
Scientists are saying there is little evidence to show that radiation has reached the Western U.S. They plan an extensive survey of kelp fields up and down the coast over the next few months to see if radiation in the ocean is increasing. Yes, levels have increased sporadically, but they say the spikes are nowhere near as high as during the initial event or even after the World War II nukes were dropped in Japan.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has clamped down on all information regarding the plant. TEPCO, the plant operator, occasionally leaks a tidbit, but is also secretive. Kazuhiko Yamashita, an executive officer of Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) says, “We regard the current situation as not being under control.” We also know that huge amounts of highly radioactive water have been making their way into the Pacific Ocean on a daily basis for months.
I have learned that they began removal of 1,500 nuclear fuel rods from the plant in November. Many of these have been destroyed or partially destroyed during prior meltdowns. We also know that there was a high level of activity at the site in late December and early January, when radioactive steam was bellowing from one of the reactors. Finally, we know that tanks installed to collect and retain radioactive water have begun to crack and disintegrate, spilling their contents.
But to be honest, we have no way of knowing at this time what the real extent of the danger to us, if any, is.

MORE NSA COVER UP?
If I've learned one thing over the last five-plus years, it's that the longer Obama speaks, the greater the lie. Yesterday, he spoke 45 minutes on one subject.
True to his character, he was careful not to accept any responsibility for the status quo; indeed, he blamed Edward Snowden for revealing it. Then he got into the nuts and the bolts about his "changes." He started out by saying that he was going to be assigning more oversight to the spy programs and that he was going to personally be in charge of more of that oversight. That's kind of like the fox guarding the pollo barn. The huge surprise here is that he didn't name Eric Holder to take charge and investigate.
He didn't back away from the collection of these tons of data; he talked about different ways of storing it and having access to it, but nothing about stopping it. So, the collection is going to continue and just because there is a law or rule against unauthorized access to it doesn't mean it won't happen; after all, Obama himself is the preeminent national expert at how to get around or to ignore laws.
The talking heads seem to be elated, that this is the first time Obama has given a responsive speech, that everything is going to be okay, that he will part the waters and lead the country to the promised land. I don't hear anything different in what he had to say yesterday and what he has been saying about different things at different times for over five years.
In other words, he didn't reassure me one damned bit. Mark my words: He will find a way to continue doing what he has been doing through another agency or under more cover, and if caught he'll deny saying he was going to rein this spying program in at all; that's his history. Leopards do not change their spots and, unless I'm mistaken, the country at heart really doesn't believe a single word this dodo says.
There is one good thing that happened, however; he chastised the press. Maybe, just maybe, that's a small sign that the press is finally starting to do its job.

MORE ON OBAMA'S DICTATORIAL POWERS
SPECIAL POST
I've heard a whole lot of squawking these last two days about Obama's continued and open pronouncements that he can do anything he wants with his pen... period. They're all pretty much saying what is true, "That's unconstitutional."
So what?
The problem here is that the only way to hold Obama's feet to the Constitutional fire is through the threat of impeachment. The Constitution provides that the House investigates and files Articles of Impeachment and the Senate conducts the trial. If there is anyone in this country who does not understand that the President, this President, owns the U.S. Senate lock, stick and barrel, he or she is either ignorant of the facts or a downright imbecile... period.
If Obama is impeachment-proof, then he has dictatorial powers; I don't care what the Constitution says. There's only one way we can rein in Obama and that is by changing the dynamics in the November elections. Now, I gave up on the Republican Party; the hierarchy there thinks too much like the Reids and Pelosies of the world. But, if we turn the Republican hierarchy out in the primaries and then run the Democrats out of the Senate, that is a viable plan which should bear fruit.
There's a caveat. We can't just talk about it or wish for it to happen. We're going to have to make it happen, starting this very moment. We have to start the ball rolling today. We can and we must do this.

OBAMA'S UNLIMITED POWER
SPECIAL POST
It's no secret that Obama has been on a power trip since day one. In recent days, he's even had the audacity to flaunt it. "Wait a minute!" they are now saying. "He can't do that!"
Well, one can have just as much power as any opponent will allow him to have; however the opponent has to have the will and the ability to win the battle. Without the prerequisite push-back, it occurs to me that Obama can have as much power as he wants. Judging by the failure of Congress to limit his powers in accordance with the Constitution, I have to conclude that Obama does indeed have de facto unlimited power.
After all, he's gotten away with everything he's done so far, hasn't he?
Now, the Supreme Court has no standing to interfere until someone files a lawsuit or calls Obama to task. So, if Congress is not acting, it occurs to me that Congress is complicit in this radical shift of government power in America. Furthermore, if Americans are not raising holy hell over this power grasp, they also are complicit.
If you are willing to turn this nation over to a devout liar and manipulator, if you are in favor of giving him dictatorial powers to do whatever he wants through the use of his pen, then do nothing. But if you see all of this for what it really is, you should be on the phone, using email, writing snail mail, sending faxes... contacting your Congressional members to let them know that you are going to vote them out of office in November unless they take immediate action to limit Obama's power.

SHOULD THE NSA BE DISMANTLED?
SPECIAL POST
We heard yesterday a recent evaluation of activities discloses that the NSA's spying program has done virtually nothing to halt the spread of terrorism. The bulk collection of metadata phone records by the agency “has had no discernible impact on preventing acts of terrorism,” according to a study by the New America Foundation, a Washington-based nonprofit group. Analysis reveals that much of the evidence NSA did find “could readily have been obtained in a timely manner using conventional [court] orders.”
Could that be because they have been too busy spying on Americans to do their real jobs?
There have been some calls among Congressional delegates to defund the NSA and close it down. Although I don't disagree with the sentiment, I do think a huge domestic spying program would simply evolve under this President elsewhere, most likely within the FBI. Getting rid of the symptoms does not get rid of the problem; the problem is a White House obsessed with political enemies and the need to know what they are doing and who their associates are.
On the other hand, what would we do with that new multi-billion-dollar NSA complex in Utah? Well, I suppose it could be converted into a prison to hold all of those millions of people who are refusing to sign up for ObamaCare...

NEW BENGHAZI REVELATIONS
SPECIAL POST
FOX NEWS is reporting that, not only did top military generals immediately know that the Benghazi Massacre was caused by a terrorist attack, but so did President Obama. They were at the White House for a previously scheduled briefing and Obama was notified of the terrorism. This, of course, begs the question: When Obama and Susan Rice went public and insisted that the attack was due to the infamous video, why didn't the generals say something?
Why did Obama get on Air Force One and fly to Las Vegas immediately after such a blatant act of terrorism when the only proper place for him to be was in the situation room at the White House? Why did he instigate an absolutely false story, another in an endless string of Presidential lies?
"Gen. Carter Ham, who at the time was head of AFRICOM, the Defense Department combatant command with jurisdiction over Libya, told the House in classified testimony last year that it was him who broke the news about the unfolding situation in Benghazi to then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The tense briefing -- in which it was already known that U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens had been targeted and had gone missing -- occurred just before the two senior officials departed the Pentagon for their session with the commander in chief."
We all knew from almost the very beginning that Obama had to know moments after the attack what the cause of the attack was and who was responsible. Here we are, almost 18 months after the attack and we're just now beginning to get at the details; I believe we are just scratching the surface.
Now, I've said it here before, and I will say it again: When we get to the full bottom of this story, there will be facts and evidence that will demand... require that President Barack Hussein Obama not only be impeached, but maybe charged with treason as well.

REPUBLICANS VS. TEA PARTIES VS. CONSERVATIVE VS. ???
SPECIAL POST
Now that I've been out of the Republican Party for over a year, I think I can be a little more objective in pointing out what is wrong with the party and why it's not going anywhere... yet.
There seems to be a mindset out there that the Tea Parties are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Republican Party; nothing could be farther from the truth. There are plenty of Democrats and Independents in Tea Party organizations. Granted: Tea Parties may be predominantly more conservative, which account for the impression they are Republican affiliates, but that's not the case.
So, why does the Republican hierarchy, which really owes the 2010 elections to the Tea Parties, believe that it has to grind the Tea Parties into oblivion? Maybe it's because the Obama Democrats have walloped them so badly in Congressional legislative matters that they feel they have to take it out on someone else. What is certain is that a substantial part of the party consists of Conservatives, Tea Party members or both. A large percentage of those are disenchanted and less likely to vote.
The Republican Party hierarchy needs to come to grips with the fact that they cannot win spit without a coalesced party; the Democrats, as sick as they are in their heads, are much more organized. The hierarchy should be out there with welcoming arms, trying to find common ground and make peace with the Tea Parties and Conservatives instead of taking pot-shots and looking for arguments. And they need to get their act together within the next few weeks, or they might as well sit out the 2014 elections and save their energy and money.

PRESS SHOWS FLAGRANT, BLATANT PRO-OBAMA BIAS
The press and media went after New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Thursday with a vengeance reminiscent of of the press versus Nixon days, questioning him for almost two hours regarding a bridge traffic-blocking scandal. He fielded some 100 questions, whereas the press has never questioned President Obama over anything for more than five minutes, and that includes Fast & Furious, the Benghazi Massacre, the IRS, the NSA, the DOJ, and Obamacare's outright lies and broken promises.
WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS MORE IMPORTANT HERE? WHY DOESN'T THE MEDIA DO ITS JOB?
The answer here is obvious: We cannot believe anything we hear in the press or the media. They show their absolute reverence to Obama at every turn; they repeat lies and spins without question and are therefore complicit in cover-ups and stonewalling. In a few, short years the press and the media have managed to change their image to the point that they are now rated to be not only lower than Congress, but lower than a snake's belly.
The only conceivable reason to have a press and media that fails to do its job is to spread the propaganda of the government.

NEW SPYING TECHNOLOGY
SPECIAL POST
We've recently become obsessed with the fact that the NSA is spying on us. They can take pictures of us using our own webcams and we will have no idea that it happened. What about those cameras on your cell phones and tablets? What about those new Google glasses? What about facial recognition technology that has been around for several years? Is it possible that a person using a smartphone camera therein could take your picture on an airplane and have instant access to everything about you?
Of course, those Peter Kings out there in the world who think the government has a right to be in your bedroom would be quick to say that there would have to be a massive database storing your information and your biological features and that's not possible. Well, tell me more about that little information database city that the government has built in Utah.
So, how long before this capability comes into the hands of the nefarious? There's a good looking chick, let me snap her picture.... hmm, she lives at 49445 Sugar Sweet Street in Bartle, California... single, 27, works as a dental hygienist for Dr. Spock in Fall River Mills, owns the house worth $200,000, has $58,493.26 in the bank, once had her topless pose on Facebook, had a 3.4 GPA in high school, has divorced parents living in Shasta Lake City, and she owns a Glock 23 pistol. Oh, and she's not a real blonde.
That type of information is already being collected in Utah. How long will it be before Sneaky Data Systems of Far Rockaway, NY starts selling access to that information to thugs and other politicians?
"Uh," you start to answer and I send your voice by tablet to those guys in Far Rockaway, which instantly responds with the color and make of your current underwear.
Do you now understand why we have to put our collective feet down and stop this spy, spy, spy mentality?

CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET SHELL GAME
SPECIAL POST
Who pays for what and out of what fund?
Obama didn't want Americans to know the real costs to the taxpayers for ObamaCare, because he knew they would not go for it. So, he took a pile of money out of the Medicare fund. We're now talking about extending unemployment benefits and they're trying to decide which fund to steal from to cover that expense. The stage is now set for one of the oldest shell games in history, where we don't know what our money is actually being used for, how much money is left over or what real needs must be met.
So much for transparency in government.
Now, I agree with the principle that we should not exceed our budgets. I just about had a heart attack when I heard that Congress wants to spend money it doesn't have, and wants to balance the budget at the same time. Congress said that? Where can we cut? That all makes sense and I agree with it. But, let's not set ourselves up where we can't follow the money trail because it is a mixed hodgepodge of revenues and transfers. That's when you get yourselves into trouble, right Mr. Madoff?

THE LATEST ON JAPAN'S NUCLEAR PLANT
SPECIAL POST
Once again, Japan's Prime Minister has clammed up and little news is leaking out about the status of Japan's nuclear plant. A few weeks ago, Shinzo Abe assured the International Olympics Committee that things at Fukushima were under control. He went on to insist that the contamination was limited to a very small area and "poses no problem whatsoever."
Without a doubt, the management of the cleanup has been riddled with problems and cover-ups. TEPCO summarily rejected a plan to build an underground retaining wall to hold radioactive water back and instead chose to install underground plastic and metal tanks to collect the water; those tanks subsequently disintegrated, spilling their contents. In 2012, the situation was so dangerous and bleak that the possibility of evacuating everything within a 100 mile radius loomed; Abe chose instead to put the clampers on the existence of the danger so that he could proceed to lobby for the Olympics.
Days ago, word came that highly radioactive steam was escaping from Reactor Number 3 and that the danger of a total meltdown existed. Since then, the news coming out of Japan about the situation at the plant has virtually dried up. The mainstream media in the U.S. has been silent on the story; if there is no danger to us, why are they not being forthcoming?

Shortly after the committee awarded Japan with the 2020 Summer Olympics, Kazuhiko Yamashita, an executive with the plant's operating company, TEPCO, contradicted Abe by saying, "We regard the current situation as being not under control." Last summer, it was revealed that as much as 300 tons of highly radioactive water had leaked from the site into the ocean. JAPAN'S NUCLEAR PLANT DANGERS CONTINUE TO MOUNT
SPECIAL POST
Japan has been somewhat secretive regarding the cleanup of the earthquake-tsunami ravaged Fukushima nuclear plant. One worker claimed that duct tape and wire nets were used to hold the plant together, which is a prime reason for many leaks that have plagued the facility. Steam rising from reactor number three has given rise to concerns of another meltdown. TEPCO, the managing company, has plans to siphon water from underground tunnels where high levels of cesium have been detected below reactor number four. TEPCO has found a record 1.9 million becquerels per liter of beta ray-emitting radioactive substances at its No.2 reactor.
Fish off the coast of the plant are known to be contaminated; radioactive fish have also been reported in catches off America's west coast. 130 Japanese cars destined for Russia were found to contain high levels of radiation and were refused. Measurements of excessive radiation in Pacifica, California have been summarily dismissed by government authorities, while TEPCO officials have been suggesting Americans be ready to seal doors and windows from the inside to minimize exposure to radioactive dust particles. Japan's government has been actively recruiting homeless persons to assist in the plant cleanup.
We already know the Japanese government has been keeping the lid on what is occurring at the beleaguered plant for well over a year. It has become apparent that our federal government is also complicit in the cover-up. American Navy personnel on board the U.S.S. Reagan were exposed to very high levels of radiation and are now being treated for radiation poisoning, although the mainline news sources are not carrying the story.

The fall of Fallujah over the weekend into Al Qaeda hands is disgusting and vile. We lost American lives there in the quest to rout out and hold responsible those who flew our planes into our buildings in our country, as well as their associates, those who enabled them and those who foster international terrorism. After 9/11, President Bush proclaimed the "War on Terrorism;" President Obama, in HIS quest to be reelected, declared that war to be over and Al Qaeda to be defeated.
America's policy in the Middle East is pockmarked by the impact of Obama's failures. The work in the Middle East of many Presidential Administrations spanning decades has been summarily undone by one errant, arrogant and ignorant President. All of the sudden, world stability no longer exists. The probability of another major Radical Muslim terrorist attack within U.S. soils has immensely increased. We are the laughing stock of the Arab nations. We are on the verge of becoming enemies of Saudi Arabia. Relations with Israel and Jordan are strained, to say the least. Iran and Assad have both been blatantly flipping Obama off for five years.
John Kerry announced yesterday that he's going to flap his wings over to the Middle East and secure peace? What in God's name has HE been smoking? HE is going to secure an everlasting Palestinian-Israeli accord? HE assures us that the Iranians are going to back away from the nuclear program they have been working on for years, just because Obama says so?
We are a nation at risk. We are a ship of state without a rudder. We are a nation which must now reconcile itself to the fact that our President doesn't give a damn about those dead soldiers in Iraq, about Benghazi, about Fast & Furious, about our economy or about us.
He simply MUST be neutered in 2014 by the citizens of this country uniting and giving both Houses of Congress firmly to his opposition.
Illegitimi non carborundum.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.

2014: OPPRESSION BEGINS, CHAPTER TWO
SPECIAL POST
The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Human Rights and Labor , is preparing to issue a new grant, DRLA-DRLAQM-14-009 "Promoting Accuracy and Transparency in Mass Media" The grant, for up to $500,000, proposes to "promote accuracy, transparency, and credibility in news, social, and other mass media to combat the spread of inaccurate and often dangerous misinformation."
Yesterday, we learned of a new law whereby the Secret Service can arrest anyone who says anything they deem to be offensive. Today, we see the government gearing up to enact Executive Orders and to take other action to prevent the writing, printing and dissemination of anything the Administrations deems to be inaccurate, misleading or dangerous.
The official government policy is now clear: CENSORSHIP.
These seemingly innocuous moves by the government are historically predicable in attempts to overthrow governments: (1) gain control of the media and press, (2) outlaw certain "free" speech and put offenders in prison, and (3) control what information can and cannot be disseminated. All three of these initial steps are now in place and functioning.
The next thing to come will be the indoctrination of the public into spying on each other. They will have us report any "suspicious" activities of our neighbors or fellow workers, including the presence of guns, holding "clandestine meetings," speaking out against the government, attending religious events, etc. etc. etc.
Are you prepared to stand idly by as our country is exposed to the very real probability of decay into totalitarianism?
Illegitimi non carborundum.

2014: NOW THE REAL OPPRESSION BEGINS
SPECIAL POST
The President has three years left in his last official term under this Constitution. Let me restate that: "The President has three years left in his last official term under this Constitution. That sounds a little ominous, doesn't it?
The President has three years left in his last official term under this Constitution. Let me restate that: "The President has three years left in his last official term under this Constitution. That sounds a little ominous, doesn't it?
Let me begin by saying that Congress quietly has authorized, and President Obama quietly has signed into law... suppression of Freedom of Speech in this country. http://www.mrconservative.com/2013/12/29650-obama-secretly-signs-no-free-speech-bill/. This is the very first open and direct assault on our rights; prior assaults have been indirect and have not involved the Congress.
Over the last five years, Obama has been moving this country steadily toward outright socialism and he has been blatantly ignoring our Constitution. He has committed several impeachable offenses; yet, Congress shows absolutely no inclination to call him to task over his offenses.
Well, you say, we'll take care of this problem in the 2014 elections.
Would it bother you if there were no 2014 elections?
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
