"OBAMA: YOU WILL DO WHAT I ASK"

President Barack Hussein Obama told the House of Representatives and the country yesterday that Congress will either raise the national debt ceiling, or he will.  “[Republican leaders] will not collect a ransom in exchange for not crashing the American economy.”  He also said, "I think if you look at the history, getting votes for the debt ceiling is always difficult and budgets in this town are always difficult. I went through this just last year. But what’s different is we never saw a situation as we saw last year in which certain groups in Congress took such an absolutist position that we came within a few days of defaulting."  

In other words, if you're an American who is sick and tired of the national debt continuing to go up while no one does anything about it, or if you're a Member of Congress who listens to the country on this issue, you stink like shit. I'm sorry, but there's no delicate way to say it that adequately conveys the sentiment.
