Congress
has done almost as much damage to this country as Obama has. It’s obvious that they cannot get along with
each other and it’s also obvious that they are totally dysfunctional. Even in the areas where they agree, they can’t
come together and create meaningful legislation.
Four
years ago, both sides were arguing about the national debt, spending and the
budget. Both sides hollered, “We cannot
kick the can down the road any longer!”
Here we are, four years and four kicks later, still hollering and
bickering.
We
have a Senate that refuses to do its Constitutional duty and issue a budget, we
have a President who does issue a budget that can’t get a single vote, (even
from his own party), and we have a House that creates and passes a budget that
won’t ever see the light of day on the Senate floor or the Oval Office.
We
have a President who ignores Congressional action and creates his own Executive
Orders to get around Congress, but we also have a Congress that allows this
illegal behavior to go on and on and on and ON!
We have an Attorney General who flips the bird to Congress, gets charged
with Contempt and then refuses to discharge his Constitutional duty to
prosecute the case and we have Members of Congress standing around with their
thumbs up their collective asses unable to do anything about it.
So,
we have the Administration now in the position of nullifying all authority of
the legislative branch of our government, totally turning Congress into a hall
full of impotent twits. All they can do
is to squeal like wounded pigs; they don’t have the capability to stand up for
Americans and our Constitution.
We
get stuck with no tax reform, lavish over-spending, cronyism and
ObamaCare.
We
folks, if we won’t take steps to solve the problem, then we are part of the
problem. We need to turn every Member of
Congress who is up for reelection OUT in November. We’re
fighting for the future and honor of our country here; we cannot afford to keep
our heads in the sand any longer.
November is just around the corner.
That’s
MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
