WHY NOT THE "GAY SCOUTS OF AMERICA?"

SPECIAL POST

Once again, a segment of our society is trying to cram its agenda down the throats of the rest of us, whether we like it or not.  This time, it is again the gay community and its never-ending, relentless attempt to change the tenants and principles of the Boy Scouts of America.

Of course, the gays are being pushed and funded by the liberal left it its desire to crumble the foundations of our American democratic society.  It's not enough that that they have achieved acceptance in our society, they now want to change our individual and our religious views to conform with theirs.   And those in our country who are willing to let them do it are, by their complacency, complicit in the breakdown of the fabrics of our national ideals.

The Boy Scouts have, for a hundred years, exemplified and instilled the teachings of morals, ethics and values upon which our nation was founded.  That they themselves are now willing to consider the admission of gays into the organization tells me that they have lost their course, their purpose, their "Duty to God and country."  We have different organizations and associations in our life to accommodate various views; it is unfair for our government or others to insist that these organizations and associations change their constitutions and beliefs in order to accommodate people who do not share their fundamental visions.

I'm not out trying to change the beliefs and visions of the gay community and I don't want them to bully me into changing mine.  I'm fine with the Girl Scouts.  They are of a different biological agenda and they have different needs in their early development and learning than Boy Scouts.  The gay community also has a different biological agenda and different needs in early development.  So, I'm just fine with the "Gay Scouts of America."

If the gays don't want me to have the rights to my beliefs and my associations and organizations, then they are not Americans and they belong in a different country.

That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
