OBAMA: ARE THE WHEELS FINALLY COMING OFF?

Things have always been a little fuzzy around the edges at the Obama White House, but they seem to be getting much more strained lately.  Here’s some recent news to underscore the point I am making:

• For some reason, 36.4% of able-bodied job seekers are NOT working, a number that is going UP
• Overall unemployment just shot back up to 7.9% although there was a 157,000 job gain
• Although Obama has been saying that he was making jobs his number one priority for months now, and although he says “We still have work to do,” he abolished his Jobs Council
• The 4^th quarter economy shrunk for the first time since 2009
• Lower-than-anticipated X-Mas sales
• The Federal Reserve says that the overall economy slowed in the 4^th quarter
• Obama’s insistence that Al Qaeda is finished, toast, over with
• The Benghazi Massacre, leaving numerous unexplained issues and unanswered questions and no arrests or captures
• The attack on our embassy in Ankara, Turkey
• The obviously bad results of the “Arab Spring” which Obama was touting a year or so ago
• ObamaCare in general, with states refusing to sign on and businesses beginning layoffs or hiring freezes
• IRS says typical taxpayer costs under ObamaCare will be over $20,000 per year by 2016
• The fact that Obama had to reverse his position on the contraception mandate vs. religious freedom issue under ObamaCare
• The Federal Court ruling saying that his recess NLRB appointments were illegal
• The horrible performance of Chuck Hagel during Congressional confirmation hearings
• A recent study showing that the majority of Americans feel threatened by our current government

Could it be that the wheels are starting to come off the Obama machine?  Is the luster turning into bluster?
