Bill Kristol announced over the Memorial Day weekend that he had found someone to run for president on a third party ticket, someone who could take Trump out of contention. Kristol, as you undoubtedly know, has been leading the charge against Trump since before Columbus discovered America. He's been quite vociferous about his hatred for Trump.
So, it was with great fanfare that he announced that David French was about to jump in as a third party candidate after several others had turned the prospect down. Most of us had the same question: "Who in the hell is David French?"
Well, I still don't know who David French is, but whoever he is, he has far more intelligence than Bill Kristol; French unceremoniously turned Kristol down.
And now, Bill Kristol and his National Review truly look like the fools that they are. Maybe he should change the name of his magazine to the "National Baboon."
