TIPPING THE SCALES

SPECIAL POST

So, who won?  Well, although Romney seemed to have skinned a cat at the first debate, by the time this gets on the web I guess the media will have him looking like a pipsqueak and Obama looking like Goliath.  At the outset, several Democratic pundits were calling Romney the hands-down winner, but you know as well as I do that there's no way the media or the press will allow that fact to stand.  On that basis, the media and the press may end up being the winner, because only they have the power of the pen.

In terms of presence, Romney was Presidential and Obama was constantly looking as if he wanted to go back under the rock from whence he came.   If he'd been in the Senate, he certainly would have hollered, "Present!"  He definitely was the one to look like the proverbial deer in the headlights.

What is the defining conclusion of this debate is that Romney was articulate, refused to be lied to or be bullied and he laid out his case for the Presidency in strident and understandable language.  Frankly, he pleasantly surprised me and I don't see how anyone who watched could deduce otherwise.

That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
