UP YOURS AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, AMERICA

SPECIAL POST

Eric Holder presided over the Fast & Furious operation that was originally designed to give him and Obama the ammunition, (play on words intended,) to close down gun shops along the southern border.  It was later billed as an operation to track the sales of illegal weapons to members of the Mexican drug cartels.  An agent got killed, and another agent blew the whistle and the case wide open.  From that point forward, Holder has done everything possible to stymie any investigation into the matter.

The allegation surfaced that Obama may have been involved and there was an immediate denial from both the White House and the Department of Justice.  Obama knew absolutely nothing about the operation, according to those denials.

The House, determined to get at the facts, kept pressing Holder for documents and testimony.  A few thousand out of some 140,000 were delivered.  The House Committee narrowed the scope of its subpoena to fewer documents; yet, Holder continued to stonewall.  He gave conflicting testimony in Congress and, when caught, said he had forgotten.

As the House Committee moved toward filing contempt charges against Holder, he once again refused to comply during a last-minute meeting Tuesday.  Wednesday morning, he requested from President Obama that the President exert a claim of “Executive Privilege” over the documents, thereby refusing to deliver them up on the basis that the President was protected because he was somehow involved.  In other words, first the President knew nothing, but now was involved.

If the requested documents would exonerate them, they certainly would deliver them.  The exertion of Executive Privilege confirms to all of us that they have something big to hide and it involves the President.  This latest maneuver will delay the process until after the November elections, as I predicted would inevitably happen.

Yes, the Committee went ahead and voted to cite Holder for contempt, and the full House is likely to quickly follow suit.  And then, according to the law as it exists, the Attorney General, (Holder), will assign a prosecuting attorney to handle the matter in the Federal Courts.  Isn’t that sweet?

If there is any doubt in your mind about whether or not Obama should stay in office, this should erase it.  He’s a liar and has done impeachable offenses and he wants to cover those facts up.  This is his “Watergate,” and he needs to bite the dust.

That’s MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
