WEIGHING IN ON 9/11/11

I’ve been saying for over a week now that Al Qaeda started planning for a repeat performance of 9/11/01 ten years ago.  They are patient, persistent and deadly.

The Department of Homeland Security has revealed that they have credible information that such a strike is definitely in the works for tomorrow.  Likely targets, according to their information, are Washington, DC and New York City.  However, just because they are terrorists, or radical Muslims, or from the Middle East... does not mean that they are stupid.  They certainly know that our defenses in those cities are going to be totally geared up for any eventuality.

One thing we need to consider is that I do not think Barack Obama is any more prepared for such a threat than George Bush was ten years ago.  That is indeed scary.

You and I both hope and pray that whatever is in the works will not come to pass.  The one thing we have going for us this time around is that we are all more aware of what is going on around us.  If you see anything going on that does not seem proper, do not hesitate; notify the authorities.  It would be far better to be wrong than to be right and not do something about it.

If you are going to be on your computer, stay off the Internet until you know that it is safe.  A massive cyber attack could knock every computer in the country straight into the garbage bin.  Be aware of strangers around power lines or substations, water reservoirs, bridges, dams, subways or rail systems, famous landmarks or well-known high-profile buildings.

Let’s hope and pray that we will have a safe remembrance of this horrible national tragedy.

That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
