They knew that this debt-deficit issue had to be dealt with
six or seven months ago and flatly refused to begin the process. They stalled and stalled and then, all of the
sudden it became an emergency and they marched out the tax cheat and their chief
financial officer to warn of calamity if the matter is not resolved by August 2nd. It was the same old crap they employed to
bully their ways past TARP, Stimulus and Health Care, three jewels of
legislation.
The Republican-controlled House of Representatives worked at
great length to develop Cut, Cap and Balance, a favorite of most
Americans. The House passed it and sent
it to the Senate which flatly refused to even put the Bill on the table for
discussion. They turned right around and
had Obama start lambasting the Tea Parties and Republicans and demanding a new
Bill. The President even took to the
microphone and blamed Americans for not pulling together behind his plan… but
he has no plan.
Yesterday, another Bill passed the House. Reid and fellow stalwarts were saying hours before
the passage that they would not even consider it. Obama said he wasn’t even going to look at
it, and if it ever reached his desk he was going to veto it.
Two plans they refused to let see the light of day and Obama
continues to wag and point his finger and scowl at you, me, the House, the Tea
Parties and Fox News as if we are all the dregs of the planet.
Enough is enough. There
can be no more compromise. Compromise to
what? What plan have they put out that
we can compromise to? They want us all
to “act like adults.” Well, we ARE
acting like adults. The Democrats are
acting like riffraff and deadwood. Every
damned one of them simply must be removed in the next election. They won’t discuss, they won’t talk, and they
hide behind closed doors.
They are not stand up Americans. I frankly don't think they are Americans at all.
