$16 TRILLION AND CLIMBING

Our national debt is now at $16 trillion and still climbing.  Absolutely no... zero, zilch, nada... effort has been made by Congress or the President to stop it.  How do you like the thought of saying to your grandchild, "Here's something you can work 100% of your time until you're 53 to pay for.  It's your share of the national debt?"  Did you know that we could provide every living American, (man, woman, child and illegal), with a check for $53,000 today if we had that kind of money in the bank?  Doesn't that just frost your gizzards? 

We can't keep doing this to ourselves.  It is stifling our country and depressing our attitudes about life.  My God, how can we even sleep at night?  

Moreover, how can we justify to ourselves the fact that we are allowing our government to keep spending and to ignore its responsibility to do something about it? 

It is time we take back our country and do something about it. We can, we must and by the grace of God and our hard work, we will.
