RADIATION NOW REACHING WEST COAST

SPECIAL POST

Radiation Network's monitors near San Jose and Portland are reflecting slightly higher than normal readings this morning.  News networks are reporting that some radiation has been detected in West Coast rain, something we cautioned about early on.  It was radiation in rain from the Nevada Test Site that got into rivers, lakes and streams in the Midwest back in the 1950's and '60's and that worked its way into milk and caused an increase in cancers among children in those areas.

Every word coming on the news channels and on Radiation Network indicates that the increased radiation is not dangerous.  The problem I have is that the issue is subjective; even one particle of radiation may cause cancer if it hits the right cell in the the right person.  So, any rise, no matter how slight, incrementally increases the risk for all.

Let me be quick to say that I agree, this is not the time for panic.  But. this is the time to be aware and to know what is in the environment on at least a daily basis.  And, don't accept the government's word; get the facts yourself.

That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
