MOURNING FOR AMERICA

I mourn for our country.  The narrative being pushed by the media, Democrats, liberals and progressives in this country about racism, Hitler, the KKK, BLM, Neo-Nazis... on and on.  What has our country come to?

Where is our social responsibility?  Where is our religion?  Where is our direction?  What happened to our national unity; why did we allow these bastards to destroy it? 

What will happen tomorrow, or the day after that?  

Has the second Civil War already begun?  Is the final curtain now dropping on the Great American  Stage?

LATEST INDUCTEE INTO KATHY GRIFFIN'S FAN CLUB

Missouri State Democratic Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal has not only called for the assassination of President Trump, but has doubled down by refusing to apologize or retract her hideous statement. 

People who think like that belong in some third world country, like North Korea for example.

TODAY

Today is the day we've simply got to put our collective feet down... hard.  Enough is enough. 

The majority of this country can no longer allow the minority to be the schoolyard bullies.   We've been pushed around way too long by these ignorant, fanatical, left-wing thugs who seek to bury our nation's history and relegate our cherished values to the garbage dumps.  We have allowed our country to become infested with those who seek to destroy us.  

They are exerting pure censorship by removing our historical statues, rioting against us when we seek to hear differing opinions, taking over our schools and denigrating our fundamental religious beliefs.  They are destroying our culture and our ways of life.  They are demanding the rights to overturn our elections and ignore our laws. 

Whatever it takes, no matter how much we must endure in the process, the majority of this country can be silent no more.

AMERICA'S MORAL VALUES SUCK

How is it that this country allows the sort of bigotry and hatred which permeates organizations such as White Supremacist groups?  How do we arrive at shrugging our shoulders, rationalizing that they have freedom of speech and subsequently dismissing the matter from our public conscience?  

Where do we get the temerity to pound our fists on the table and demand an end to the death penalty while in the same breath advocating for the right of a woman to kill an unborn fetus and sell its body parts?   How do we justify having open and enticing borders, allowing "undocumented aliens" to come into our country, and then saying we don't have to feed them, house them or care for their medical needs because they're illegals?  

Why is it that we send billions of dollars to other countries to care for their poor when we won't take care of our own?  Why do we allow corporate giants to rape and plunder the pocketbooks of the sick, disabled and seniors by jacking up the costs of medical care and pharmaceuticals, while at the same time taking taxpayer money to further line the pockets of those same corporations through subsidies?  Where do we get off in allowing our government officials to tell us they want to cure these healthcare problems, but we don't put a stop to campaign contributions from the same people they "seek" to regulate?  

Why do we raise such a ruckus when the town drunk gets caught with acts of indecent exposure when we don't have the national courage to remove the corrupt politicians from their seats of power while they urinate all over public opinion and ignore the will of the people?  Why do we allow drugs and crime to infest our streets?  

Just where are our moral and ethical values?   

When is the last time anyone in this country picked up a Bible to read from it or had the strength of virtue to read from it to our children?

AMERICAN ANARCHISTS

Those who foment violence and civil disobedience in the name of Freedom of Speech need to be removed from our midst.  Put them on a one-way plane and ship them off to Caracas.

SUSAN RICE IS AMORAL

It wasn't long after the dropping of two nuclear weapons on Japan by the United States to bring about the end to World War II that the Soviet Union acquired its own nuclear technology, and then the race was on.  Recognizing the tremendous risk of a nuclear holocaust, the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty was created in 1970 and 190 nations have since signed on to it.  They all recognized the moral responsibility to put an end to the growth of nuclear weapons on the face of this earth.  

The fear is, of course, that some fanatical terrorist dictator of some rogue nation might someday acquire such weapons and use them indiscriminately against the rest of mankind.  Now that we have allowed North Korea to achieve that dreaded capability, former National Security Advisor Susan Rice has come forth to say that we have to just get used to it.  

In other words, its quite okay for Kim Jong-un to have nuclear-tipped ICBM's.     

Such a position is morally bankrupt and a classic example of how the liberal Democrats have ruined our national security and placed us on a course bound to end in anarchy and demise.

IS ARMAGEDDON AT HAND?

Anybody who thinks for one second that China will ever rein in North Korea is out of his or her mind.  Just as Russia is using Assad and Khameni s puppets in Syria and Iran, so is China using Kim Jong-un.  In both cases, the so-called "rogue" nations and their leaderships are simply fronts for Chinese and Russian aggression against the United States.  Russia and China are goading and prodding their puppets to push the United States until its back is to the wall.  

The time-proven adages about peace through strength and walking softly, but carrying a big stick were tossed under the bridge in this country right after we dropped two nuclear weapons on Japan to end World War II.  Even back in Old Testament Biblical times, nations were appalled at the idea of tackling David and his armies.  NO one messed with us after Japan either, until we made weak fools of ourselves in North Korea and Vietnam.  

Both China and Russia have provided extensive military aid and guidance to North Korea, Iran and Syria.  And we should understand that the nuclear threat of North Korea is no greater than the similar threat of Iran; I'd be willing to bet that Iran has nuclear missile capability right now, since they've been joined at the hip with North Korea for years.  

Given the circumstances, World War III is certainly likely to break out within seconds after the first shot is fired, regardless of who fires it.  

Thank you Bill Clinton, George Bush, Barack Obama and Congress for bringing us to this day.

WORTHLESS, DESPICABLE CONGRESSIONAL CESSPOOL

We no longer recruit the best candidates for office; we are simply satisfied with sending the guys with the biggest campaign budgets to Congress.  The longer they're in, the bigger their budgets get, because the more powerful they become the larger their contributions from corporations and rich donors are.  In the process, they forget whatever religious, ethical or moral teachings they ever had, (if any), and they become greedy and corrupt.  Those on the outside looking in who might make good and responsive leaders are disgusted at what they see and they shy away from running for election.  

Right now, Congress is at or below a 10 percent approval rating.  The Democrats are obstructionists and the Republicans are uncaring and inept.  Together, they make up a collaboration of dysfunction.  Nobody out here in the sticks is happy with any Member of Congress,  either because they are part of the problem or they won't stand up and do something about it.  

And, we're all madder than hell.  

It's up to us to fix the problem.  There's little more than 16 months before the next election.  Primaries are less than a year away in most states.  Yet, we should be out there scouting out potentially good men and women to replace those who are in office; the Dems should be looking for their candidates and the Republicans should be looking for theirs.  The object: field candidates we can elect in the primaries to take out the incumbents before they even stand the slightest of chances at reelection.  

Then, we can battle it out in November of 2018, knowing the corrupt, non-responsive, elitist bastards in office will all be removed.  And while we're at it, let's go ahead and set some term limits.

THE GREAT KOREAN LIE

Our government is not rati0nally evaluating the problem with North Korea.  Somehow, they seem to think that the situation can be resolved without more war.  

History is a great teacher.  Once united, Korea was ruled by Japan from 1910 until the close of World War II.  In 1945, the Soviet Union declared war on Japan and in the process liberated Korea north of the 38th parallel.  U.S.. forces moved into South Korea and an official split between north and south occurred as a result of the Cold War.  Both of the new governments, in North Korea and South Korea, claimed  to be the legitimate  government of the whole peninsula.  

In June of 1950 North Korea, supported by both China and the Soviet Union, invaded South Korea and the Korean War was set in motion.  The fighting ended in June of 1953 with an armistice that exists to this day.  The war was never ended and both China and now Russia are backing Kim Jong Un and the North Korean agenda.  In fact, ample evidence exists to suggest that North Korea has acquired its missile technology from China.  

Now, just what makes you think that either China or the Russians are going to back off from their support of North Korea?  It should be obvious that China, contrary to what Washington says, will be perfectly comfortable with a nuclear-weaponized North Korea.  This is a strategic move somewhat akin to the Kremlin's move to install nuclear missiles in Cuba back in the Kennedy era.  

We are now faced with the facts that North Korea will have the capability to launch a nuclear missile against the United States within weeks, if not months.  And their recent claims to be on the verge of having a hydrogen bomb is probably not fiction.

So, what do we do?  

We can't continue to play the Obama pussy-foot game.  We're being played for suckers; all they want is to delay, delay, delay until the day when it's too late.

Moving our own unclear weapons into Japan is not a bad idea for starters.  We should also be prepared to move nuclear weapons into South Korea and we should be building South Korean defense systems like crazy.  We have to understand that Kim Jong Un is not going to back down as long as he is backed by China and Russia, and they have no intentions of backing away from their obvious commitments.  This means that tensions are so high among the North Koreans that the danger of an accidental spark are imminent.  

Bluntly put, we need to be prepared for a breakdown of the armistice and the resumption of war.  Furthermore, we have to understand that if war breaks out again and North Korea has a nuclear missile or two, they are most certainly going to be used.  

We simply must quit fooling ourselves into thinking otherwise.

TRUTH, JUSTICE AND THE AMERICAN WAY

Remember the day, long long ago, when we looked up to the cops and the courts and the government as being beacons of righteousnous in our daily lives?  Can you recollect the time when Superman, the Lone Ranger, Sky King, The Shadow, Matt Dillon, Roy Rogers and Gene Autry were constantly coming out of the woodwork to catch the bad guys and save the country?  

Those days almost seem as if they happened in another life and on another planet.  

Back in those days, it was safe to leave your car parked in the driveway with the windows down and the keys in the ignition; if it started to rain, the neighbors would quickly come to the rescue and roll the car windows up for you.  These days, the car is locked up in the garage, the house has become a fortress with shuttered windows, closed doors and with the burglar alarm set.  We've even grown accustomed to putting surveillance cameras around our houses and packing a gun.   

We can no longer trust our neighbors, if we even know who they are.   We must eye with suspicion any new person who comes down the pike. 

We've also learned the sad facts of life in modern America: all of the superheroes are a thing of the past, the government is corrupt, the courts are a joke and the concept of righteousnous is a mere figment of our imaginations.  We have allowed ourselves to be surrounded by the Mexican drug cartels, the radical Islamic terrorists, crooks and gangs... Every single one of us can read the news about what is going on in Venezuela and understand that this country has moved itself to the very precipice of similar decay into anarchy.  

We've simply got to come to grips with the fact that we, the people, have to do something to resurrect, save and protect the ways of the past that we cherish so much.  If there's going to be peace, truth and justice, it is up to us to weave those goals once again into the fabric of what being an American is all about.  We can't do it by sitting in a corner and dreaming of the past; we're going  to have to stand up, band together, roll up our sleeves and literally take our country back... one step at a time.  

WE have to be the Paul Reveres and the Samuel Adams of this moment in American time.

Are we going to have to do it again in order for the Congress to get the message?

REPEAL AND REPLACE CONGRESS IN 2018

Both Houses of Congress are disgusting and dysfunctional because both political parties involved are self-serving and corrupt.  It's not that government is broken, it's that the people in it have become evil, unethical and immoral.  That's the big picture.  

Someone might say... "They can't ALL be bad apples."  Well, show me one... just one... who has stood up and called it out for what it has become.  If you don't speak out against it, you are complicit.  So, this is not a swamp... it's a huge, tortuous and cancerous cesspool of lies, spins and anti-American activity. 

There is no justifiable reason for us to support this cesspool.  Why are we contributing our hard-earned money to any political organization that is just going to use that money to further entrench itself against our wishes?  Frankly speaking, what we should do is all change our political registrations from Democrat or Republican to Independent.  Let those thugs boil in their own stews.  

Neither party is able to justify its cavalier disregard for the American will, and no political official in Congress is able to rationalize any reason for him or her to remain in their office based upon any degree of success in running a responsive and responsible government.  They can't even agree on how to disagree.  

Forget repealing and replacing ObamaCare.   They have made it abundantly clear that it is not going to happen.  And neither the Democrats or the Republicans are going to allow it to happen; they have thrown down the gauntlet to the American people by saying, "Up yours." 

This is not a matter of us trying to change their minds, it is a matter of us having the will and the fortitude to change the players.   It's time for US to throw down the gauntlet by removing and replacing every one of them in 2018, regardless of party, tenure, power, or whatever political promises they might put forth in an effort to keep their plush offices.   They have proven they are not people of integrity and that their promises to us mean nothing.  They have proven they are incapable of governing according to our dictates.

This is the big picture, and we need to start today to repeal and replace them.

THE VOTER REVOLUTION IS NOT OVER

I've been evolving.  I'm evolving from looking at the day-to-day, ongoing debacle we call the United States Government to examining the overall big picture.  Rather than looking at the symptoms, I'm investigating the problems.  

We, the people, have had enough.  We showed that in November of 2016 when we elected a president who promised to get our country back on the right track, while at the same time giving him the majority in both Houses of Congress that he needs to have to accomplish the things that have to be done and undone.  

Looking back at where I stood before the election, back at this time last year, my thrust was that we needed to get the incumbents out of Congress.  Unfortunately, we did not succeed in doing that.  We did give the President his majority, but we replaced few Republicans in the process... and we're now seeing the results of the mistakes we made.  

In just six months, the Republican Congress has proven that they don't care about the message we delivered in November; they want business to continue as usual.  They paid mere lip service to our demands and they don't seem to care whether we like it or not.  It's almost as if they remain bound and determined to show us that we're no longer in charge of this country and that they are.  

They promised to repeal and replace ObamaCare.  It is now painfully evident that they have no intentions or desire to do so.  Either that is the case, or they have no balls.  

In order for the people to succeed in wrestling back control of our government, must must remove every incumbent... every damned one of them and regardless of party... in November of 2018.  We need to do this for the good of our country and so we can get back to being able to sleep at night.  

We need to start recruiting competent, willing and mentally balanced patriots to take these jobs today, so they can announce their candidacies by the first of the year and get their campaigns up and running.  

They've made it obvious that we have no choice.  Let the revolution continue, full steam ahead!  We must cast the devils out of our midst!

THOSE WERE THE DAYS, MY FRIEND

This from Wikipedia: "The Founding Fathers of the United States were those individuals of the Thirteen Colonies in North America who led the American Revolution against the authority of the British Crown in word and deed and contributed to the establishment of the United States of America."  At least some of these names should be familiar to you: John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and George Washington.  

Judging from the picture, one might surmise that these were principled, educated and well-mannered men who were gathered together for a common cause: establishing freedom and democracy in North America.  Most of the American Revolution figures were members of the Masonic Lodge; although not a religious organization, one must believe in a Supreme Being to be a member.  Many of the teachings and principles of Free Masonry ended up encoded in U.S. law, and it is certain that the Founding Fathers intended our government to be centered on a religious foundation.  

What do you suppose these men would have to say about Washington D.C. in 2017?  Does it surprise you that in their day the likes of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, James Comey, Susan Rice or Eric Holder would have long ago been hung from a public gallows in a Washington square?  

But, that was then and this is now.

WE'RE BORN, WE LIVE AND WE DIE

It's what happens between the moment of birth and the instant of death that is the true mark of a man or woman.  Some have great positive or negative impact during their lifetimes, while some come and go without so much as a whisper, merely an entry on a birth record someplace and perhaps on a tombstone in some obscure cemetery.  

Some are instilled with love of their fellow mankind and become servants of God; some murder a dozen people and become subordinates of the devil.  Some work tirelessly to raise good families, while others have no inner compunction to do so.  Some join service organizations and do good and worthy work in their communities; some turn to drugs and alcohol and allow their souls to seek the gutters of life.  

But, we all start with the same clean slate; it is only what is on that slate when we die that is a measure of how we have lived our lives.  Those of us who do not take the opportunity to ponder these simple statements, to adjust their lives according to the principles of religious and moral teachings, are more often than not destined to fail.  

Although whether or not one lives a righteous and just life is of no concern or earthly consequence to many, most religions teach us that those who do not are going to pay a heavy price when they pass on into the next world.  

The main reason that I try so hard to live by the rules is that I want to minimize the odds that I will end up in eternal purgatory surrounded by the avowed jackals of the universe... politicians and journalists.

WHAT YOU SOW, YOU REAP

The Bible teaches us that if you preach, practice and spread good, good will surely come to you; if you sow evil, it will surely return to bite you.  

We as a nation have allowed our morals and scruples to evaporate.  Just as we have not required our children to learn and follow the moral and ethical teachings contained in the Bible, we have not held our elected politicians or our government officials up to the high standards embedded into us by our forefathers.  Left alone without guidance and instruction, children and those who pretend to the throne of governance will soon stray from the straight and narrow paths of righteousness.  The result is clear: crime, drug misuse and social dysfunction has increased immensely in our younger generations, and we have a country that is floundering because its leaders have turned into self-serving and corrupt, blubbering idiots. 

We are angry, frustrated and confused, but we have no one to blame but ourselves.  It is not their fault; it is our fault for allowing them to turn into what they have become.   It is our fault because we don't want to live up to the responsibilities of parenthood or citizenship.  You know the old saying: "Spare the rod and spoil the child." 

The lesson here is that it is not up to them to change; it us up to us to make them change.  Just as the schoolyard bully needs to be hauled into the principal's office and whacked on his behind with a paddle, so should the Hillary Clintons of the world be in a jail making license plates.  Just as a child needs to be sitting in a room with his nose in a book learning about life, so it is that a politician should be required to know every single word of the Constitution verbatim.  

To require less on our part is to lead us to right where we are at this very moment in time.

MORALS, SCRUPLES AND DIVISIONS

So, I assume you wonder what is coming next for this blog, now that I've made these momentous decisions.  Well, here goes...

The foundations of this country being rooted in Christian teachings, I'm going to start by citing the New Testament, Book of Mark, Chapter Three:  "If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.  If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand."  

Look at the shape this country has gotten itself into.   Not only have we forgotten the teachings of the Bible and the fundamental principles upon which America was founded, but we've allowed evil ways to insert themselves into our everyday lives; they have destroyed our moral compasses in the process and in so doing, they have turned man against man, woman against woman.  The country has been fractured over and over again by dissent and disagreement.  And those who know right from wrong have somehow lost the spine to stand up and insist that we return to the Biblical teachings that made this country great.  

Our national resolve to stand united has not only been decimated, it's been almost totally destroyed by rancorous, bitter disagreement and we have been truly weakened to the point that our house is not going to be able to stand much longer.  

The people in whom we placed our trust to guide us have shred that trust to tiny, unrecognizable bits and pieces.  Those who practice to deceive are surely bound to be bitten by their fellow snakes.  Take this impasse over healthcare for example: We have a President who swore to the people that he would repeal and replace ObamaCare.  Yet, when the House passed a bill that merely applied patches to a horrible piece of legislation... a bill that neither repealed or replaced ObamaCare, our President was supportive.  In other words, he either never intended to repeal and replace, or he lost the spine to stand up for what he promised.  

We have a Republican House and a Senate that swore upon holy oaths that if we, the people, would only hand them the majority of power, they would proceed to repeal and replace ObamaCare immediately.   We handed them that power and they set about creating bills not to repeal or replace bad law, but to tweak it and call it by another name.  Either they lied to us up front, or they lack the spine to live up to their promises.  

How could their belligerent disregard for their promises and for the will of the American people have ended up in anything else BUT failure?   

We have a nation that is divided against itself and a government that could not care less.  What is worse is that we have a country full of citizens who seem perfectly willing to set their Bibles in the closet underneath the dirty laundry and go along with the program.  

Satan must certainly be relishing our future.

THE GREAT AMERICAN CHARADE CHANGES MY LIFE

SPECIAL POST

As I indicated yesterday, when you're laid up in bed, reality sometimes slaps you in the face.  I have realized that the country my ancestors helped to establish back in the 1600's, the country which they gave their guts and blood to help build into the bastion of democracy, the country that I served in the military to defend... is a thing of the past.  

Poof!  Just like that, it's gone and it saddens me.  

This country was founded on deep-rooted Christian values and the fundamental idealism and determination to have a just and free society governed by and for its citizens.  Those ideals, visions and determination have successfully led this country through a war of independence, two huge world wars and many other battles; .through feast and famine; through the Great Depression; and through plagues and pestilence.  

Today, the rancor and the divisions of this country are so pervasive that our government can no longer function.  Instead of being a country of strong morals and laws, we have evolved into a government of weak-hearted and self-serving aristocrats, and a complicit populace that is blindly willing to stand by and let it happen.  

It's all such a charade.  

We go to church not because we believe in a higher authority, but because it is a social necessity.  We say things we don't mean just to be politically correct.  We insist that it is inhuman to kill a man for heinous crimes, but we don't hesitate to abort innocent fetuses and sell their body parts.  Politicians promise the people, but they have no intentions of living up to those promises.  When citizens step out the front door of their houses, they become different people, devoid of principle and immune to the rules of morals and ethics.  

No longer is a man's handshake a firm agreement; agreements must be written by lawyers and attested to by notaries; even then, we connive as to how to get out of them.  We justify our transgressions on the basis that others transgress; therefore, we are entitled to transgress.  

After six months of watching, hoping and praying that the new sheriff in Washington just might be successful in hammering into people's heads the notion that things need to change, that a swamp must be drained, that national unity must be achieved at all costs... I'm sick to my stomach.  

I don't want to play this disgusting, putrid game of charades any more.  I want off this not-so-merry-go- round.  I feel as if my words on these pages have become exercises of pure futility.  

In short, I've decided to walk away from it.   If no one else cares about our destiny, why should I?  

I have been writing five blogs and have decided to put three of them into hibernation... on the back burner.  I'm changing my focus from the ulcer-production line into something more productive and agreeable.  This particular blog will remain active, but be posted only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning with this Wednesday.  

We've become addicted to hatred, division, greed and corruption.  Not even our churches and synagogues are willing to stand up and insist on morality and ethics.  We've all turned our backs on our God and our heritage.  We're a mindless society of zombies and spineless imbeciles... exactly what the Democrats and Republicans in Congress want us to be.   And we all know that when you're dealing with addicts, you can't make any progress until they hit bottom.

SICK AND TIRED OF ALL THE CRAP

When you're sidelined by a summer bug and forced to spend some down time, you watch a lot of news and talk shows on TV.  You are also somewhat divorced from reality as your fever, cough and headaches evolve by the hour.  That does give one the ability to remove himself from being immersed in all of the palaver, most of which is pure blarney and mindless blather, circulating in Washington and all over the mainstream media.  

Why do we even bother to listen to this crap, day after day after day?  Do we honestly think there is going to be an end to it?  

I'm so sick and tired of the damned Congress.  They are dysfunctional  beyond description and have been for decades.  They still do not have the slightest conception of what their duty is to the American people or how to go about fulfilling their obligations as our elected representatives.  They're full of excuses as to why this cannot be done or that cannot be undone.  Their biggest thrill of the day is when they succeed in preventing each other from doing anything positive.  They all need to be replaced.... Democrat, Republican and Independent... every last one of them.  

The media considers itself to be more powerful than the people.  They answer to no one, abide by no principles and fancy themselves to be members of some "journalistic" mafia, running roughshod over American values and democratic ideals.  They know we despise them, but they do not care.  

I'm sick and tired of it all.  It seems to me that the day of revolution is not far in the distance.

THE WAR AGAINST I.S.I.S. IS NOT OVER

Now that I.S.I.S. has been sent packing from Mosul, some pundits would have us believe that the war against I.S.I.S. is over.  Granted, Mosul was of great strategic significance to I.S.I.S.,  but not every terrorist thug involved with them was holed up there.  They're still in great abundance in Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Syria, Somalia, Libya, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and even right here in the good old U.S.A.  

But, some journalists point out that their leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is dead; Russia claims they nailed him in an air strike and I.S.I.S. has verified he is indeed dead.  Well, it's not the first time his death has been widely reported, and he managed to survive every one of those reports.  Until our intelligence people can verify it, we have to presume his death is fictional.  Besides, if he is in fact dead, that is most unlikely to affect the organization any more than the death of Osama Bin Laden did.  I.S.I.S. is more than a bunch of camel jockeys; they have a sophisticated and deeply organized structure with tentacles reaching all over the world.  They are not now going to dry up and blow away.  

Indeed, quite the contrary is likely to happen.  After the death of Bin Laden, terrorist activity around the globe increased dramatically.  With the Mosul defeat and possible death of al-Baghdadi,  things are likely to heat up even more.      

One thing is certain: Trump made great strides in just six months... far, far more success than Obama ever inclined to pursue or capable of achieving.  Obama could have eliminated them before they metastasized, but he didn't and it's going to take us several more years to make any really significant headway in getting rid of them... an effort that is going to require every country in the world to participate in.

NEW YORK'S MAYOR IS WHAT'S WRONG WITH DEMOCRATS

Bill de Blasio, the illustrious Mayor of New York City, was faced with a dilemma: (1) Stay at home and grieve for the New York cop who was tragically gunned down the day before, and attend a city-wide swearing in ceremony for new cops, or (2) Get on a plane and fly to Hamburg to protest capitalism and make the citizens of New York City pick up the tab.  

Good old Bill chose the later.  

Good for him.  I mean, he stood up for his principles: never do anything that is American, or patriotic, or sympathetic, or human.  Above all, act like you're above reproach and flaunt your Democrat liberalism.  Always stay true to your friends... the liberals, the communists, the Democrats... and above all, stand tall and proud when true Americans stand up and call you and your friends out for being the assholes that you are.

CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLICANS ARE IMPOTENT

Mitch McConnell has come out and admitted that the Senate Republicans probably cannot pass a repeal and replace ObamaCare bill.  

So once again, Republicans have proven that even when they have the largest marbles in the game, they still don't know how to play that game.  The current crowd of dimwits is impotent, useless, worthless and unworthy of our votes in 2018.  

What a waste.  And for the past decade, we have been electing and reelecting them over and over again and expecting different results.  I think their brains surely must have turned to mush. 

What a damned waste.

Mark Prichard was arrested on Thursday at Senator Mark Flake's Tucson office after he said, (regarding the Steve Scalise shooting): "You know how liberals are going to solve the Republican problem? ... They are going to get better aim. That last guy tried, but he needed better aim. We will get better aim."  

With all of the similar remarks being made by liberals and by "respected" members of the Democrat Party, one has to wonder whether or not that party has morphed into a gang of vigilantes who may actually have put a price on Republican scalps.  

It's a sick, sick party and they're using every morbid trick in the book to try and change the results of the last election.  They should henceforth be referred to as: "The Party from Hell."

THE DISOLUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Sanctuary cities are against the law in this country; yet, there are countless cities and maybe even one state that don't give a damn what other cities and states think, and which could care even less what the law is... they're going to be sanctuaries, period.  

Since we're supposedly a democracy, the federal government has an obligation to ensure that the voting processes, particularly for federal offices, are conducted fairly and squarely and that every vote counts equally.  Yet, attempts at voter fraud and vote rigging have abounded for decades, and the 2016 elections seem to have been no exception, with many known instances of multiple registrations, registering of illegal aliens and registrations of cemetery residents.  Now, the Trump administration wants to investigate the extent of such activities and according to at least one estimate some 26 states have adamantly stated they will not allow it.  In other words, it's none of our business whether or not our elections are clean and legitimate.  

Our country has a Constitution which has ruled our governmental processes since 1789.  Now, we have a major political party which has decided it doesn't care what the Constitution says,  they are going to run things the way they want, including choosing the President without any democratic rights of opposing parties to put up candidates for the office.  And, God forbid if another party runs a candidate and that candidate happens to win, they have the right to cancel the election and remove the winner.  

In a complete upside-down turn of events, a federal judge has now ruled that you can come into the U.S. as an illegal alien, break the law and get thrown out of the country, and get paid for it... $190,000 as a matter of fact... because someone else complied with the law and blew the whistle.  

It appears to me that we are now just one step removed from becoming a Venezuela.

I'm sure you've heard about the squabble: "Morning Joe" Scarborough and Mika Brezinski vs. Donald Trump.  For months now, the two classless and un-American MSNBC hosts have been lambasting Trump with rude, crude and baseless remarks that have literally cut him, his family and his White House executives to the bone.  

Finally, Trump has had enough and has taken to Twitter with: "I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!"

The media and the whole country of Never Trumpers, left-wing media and Congressional detractors are now totally unglued and up on their high horses claiming that Trump has sunk to a new low by insulting Mika's face lift.  Well, as many times as I have read the tweet, I don't see anything insulting in it.  If she indeed was still bleeding from a facelift, any venture out into the public was in and of itself tasteless.  As for calling her "Low I.Q. Crazy" and Joe "Psycho," I don't know how you can criticize him for telling the truth when they have said far worse things about Trump that are not true.     

This is all about another phony left-wing plot to putrefy the airwaves with righteous, self-serving indignation from another epitome of unabashed hypocrisy. 

Frankly, I'm sick and tired of the continuing proliferation of pure bull shit.  So was Harry S. Truman:

WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT: APOLOGY DUE

I rely a lot on the Internet as a source of material for my blogs.  I use only reputable sites and multiple sources.  Evey now and then, I and my fellow writers get suckered into spreading misinformation.  Thank God t rarely happens, but when it does, I need to own up to it.  In the case of the WOUNDED WARRIORS PROJECT, it seems that is the case and I really need to give the matter some justifiable space.  

There were a number of inaccurate news reports last year alleging lavish spending and misuse of charitable money on the part of officials at the top of this organization.  Now, several charity rating services including the Better Business Bureau have investigated the charity and concluded that the Wounded Warriors Project is actually one of the best run charities around.  

I'm like you: I want my charitable giving to go where it's going to get the best bang for the intended buck.  I'm also a military veteran and have sincere empathy for any guy or gal who gets injured while serving our country, but I don't want to get taken for a ride in the process.  There are a number of illegitimate charity scams in existence out there targeting those of us who feel the same way, and I wanted to warn my friends and readers about Wounded Warrior Project.   

It turns out I was wrong, and I apologize.  They are a very worthwhile charity and back on the top of my list, as they should be on yours.

DEMOCRATS WANT TRUMP, ALL REPUBLICANS DEAD

First, it was the infamous Kathy Griffin appearing with Trump's head hanging from her hand.  Then it was the shooting of Steve Scalise and others on a baseball diamond in Virginia.  Then it was Johnny Depp with a joke about assassinating Trump.  Most recently, it was Phil Montag, a top Democratic Party official (from Nebraska) who said he was glad Scalise got shot and he wished Scalise was dead.  

There's no reason or justification for this sick rhetoric in America.  These people obviously mean what they say and they represent the Democrat Party.  

Now, you can say that the acts and statements of these people do not represent all Democrats, but you can't name a Democrat who has stood up against them.  

All Democrats therefore need to pack their shit and get out, because they all obviously think the same way.

TO HELL WITH THE WHITE HOUSE PRESS CORPS

How would you like to walk into a pit full of venomous snakes every day? 

From the very outset, Sean Spicer made it clear: Conduct yourselves with civility, tell the truth, and we'll get along just fine.  That all lasted about ten minutes.  

From then on, the attacks against Spicer and his associates has been downright vicious and confrontational, and the stories hitting the evening newscasts and press runs have been filled with lies, distortions, spins and innuendoes.  

With today's vast social media networks and the sophisticated abilities of the White House to communicate without the press, one has to ask: Who needs them?  

I think the White House has been too accommodating.   They've been patient, they've cajoled, they've politely encouraged and they've warned.  Not only has that not alleviated the situation, most of us think it's gotten far worse and denigrated into depraved chaos.  

So, the White House has done what I would have done a very long time ago: They're not only cutting back on press briefings, but they're taking away the stage upon which the media and press have been displaying their rattled brains for the last five months; they're cutting out audio recordings and screen shots.  And how is the press and media responding to this?  With outrageous indignation, screaming to the high heavens that they are being grossly mistreated.  

Not one of them... not one... has come forth and apologized or offered to turn the briefings into a forum for civil discourse.  That silence is solid confirmation that they don't give a damned about the right of the American public to have unfettered and unfiltered access to the news.  

What needs to happen next is that the press corps has to be fully relegated to the prospect of submitting their questions via email.  The press briefing room can be remodeled into being a production studio and a representative of the White House can read the questions to a White House press staffer who can answer the questions and the entire package can then be released via C-Span.  

Like I said... who needs a press that insists on using its platform to influence American opinion as opposed to providing objective reporting on the important topics of the day?  

To hell with them.

BOLTON HAS IT WRONG

Former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton has said it over and over again: The only way to solve the North Korean crisis is to re-unify North Korea and South Korea. 

• How do you resolve the issue of whose government is going to rule?
• You still have to find some solution to the Kim Jong-Un midget.
• How do you resolve the economic differences between the two existing nations?
• How do you demilitarize the North Korean mind set?  
• What makes you think the midget won't fire off a nuke at South Korea if he senses any organized attempt to take him out?  

So, these are formidable questions that lead me to think Bolton's idea is nothing more than a pipe dream. Nor is waiting for China to intervene such a good idea, either.  They've already made it clear that they're not really all that happy to be on the same side of any issue that we're on.  

No, the real and only logical answer here is that we're going to have to not only remove the little runt from power, but we're going to have to take out his entire top echelon as well.

VOTING RECORDS HACKED AND EXPOSED!

So you thought your voter registration information was protected... that it was confidential... that it wasn't available for your neighbor, banker, local judge or anyone else to see?  

Think again.  

The political parties do have access to such information so they can market and inform their voters.  Prior to the 2016 elections, the Republican Party hired Deep Root Analytics for this chore; they, in turn, left the data base open and not password protected.  To make matters worse, that database was publicly available on an unprotected server.   At this time it's unknown how many unauthorized people accessed the data and Deep Root has hired a cybersecurity team to investigate the breach.

WOULD YOU TRAVEL IN A PILOTLESS AIRPLANE?

Boeing is ready to start testing an airliner than is fully computer-operated.  Mike Sinnett, Boeing’s vice president of product development, told Reuters, “When I look at the future I see a need for you know 41,000 commercial jet airplanes over the course of the next 20 years. And that means we’re going to need something like six hundred and seventeen thousand more pilots. That’s a lot of pilots.” He continued to say, “so one of the ways that may be solved is by having some type of autonomous behavior and that could be anything from taking instead of five pilots on a long haul flight down to three or two, taking two pilots down to one in a freight situation, or in some cases going from one to none.”  

Just think about that prospect the next time your computer crashes.

There's a lot of ruckus stirring about the nasty and vile political rhetoric being spread around by Democrats and the left-wing liberals.  And now that the conservatives in this country are dishing it right back, the Democrats have seized upon the baseball shooting as a reason to make us sit down and shut up.  

Don't get me wrong; that was a deplorable act by a mad man who was obviously egged on by... the nasty political rhetoric being spread by the media, the Democrats and the left-wing liberals.  And as soon as I and others in conservative camps pointed that out, they started hollering for us to "tone it down." 

They support the Kathy Griffins of this country and they expect us to back down?
