I was asked yesterday on BURNEY MOUNTAIN HERMIT what I thought about the Iranian nuclear "deal."  I declined comment at the time based on the fact that no one could have had enough time to examine the 150+ pages in the "deal." There's no point in my laboring through the provisions, one-by-one; the pundits are adequately on the case.  

As you stand away from the putrid smell of rotten fish and look at it from the big picture, you have no choice but to come to the conclusion that this is the worst fraud perpetrated upon mankind since the serpent talked Adam into munching on an apple.  It is horrible not only for us, but also for every man, woman and child throughout the world who will feel its ugly ramifications.  

Frankly, it is beyond treasonous.   Barack Hussein Obama should spend the rest of his life in jail, as well as anyone who votes in favor of it in Congress.  and I don't care how many "community-organizing" speeches the Black Knight of the Apocalypse makes, his "deal" is still poisonous to the future and stability of democracy everywhere.

WHERE'S THE BEEF?

There is an abundant plethora of presidential candidates this season; it's almost like watching dandelions thrive in your lawn.  Every single one of them is like a huckster in a carney... "Come on in and sit your fanny down!  Have I got something for you!"  

So far, it's like listening to the wind rustle through the trees; there's a whole lot of noise and not much substance.   In observing the clamor over the Confederate flag, the renewed "interest" in the southern border and the magnificent "deal" with Iran, I hear a whole lot of carping and very little in the way of real solutions.  It's one thing to criticize and destroy, but it's quite another to come forward with alternative solutions.  

And, as you well know, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.  So, that leads to the question of the political season: "Where's the beef?"  

Where's the substance?  

Out of all of these voices, you'd think someone would be talking turkey.  Forget the eloquent speeches and the fancy cliches.  And I don't want to hear politically expedient phraseology, either; I've had enough of the spins and lies.  I want to hear someone state the problems, offer proposed solutions and have the guts and gumption to stick to the script after he/she gets elected.  

You know, there's over 150 pages of gobbledegook in that Iranian "deal."  It was finally released yesterday morning and within the hour... within the hour... the politicos of the day were all voicing their opinions.  I beg your pardon?  How do they even know what they are talking about?  It's like turning on the old coal furnace for the first run of the season and getting a house full of soot!  

We need to hold all of their feet to the fire this time around, and we need to be quite a bit more discerning than we have been in the past.  Otherwise, we're likely to end up with another turd in the punch bowl.

WHY ARE LESBIANS FAT?

Here the country is, cutting 40,000 troops due to lack of funding and running a $19 trillion dollar deficit and our illustrious federal government is spending $3.5 million to find out why lesbians are fat, while gay men are not.  

You know, I can think of 1,014 lines to insert here... most of them non-printable.  

In the meanwhile, they want to send some unfortunate guy in Liberal, Kansas, to jail because he's delinquent on his $1,200 tax bill.  

Sleep well tonight, my friends.  Our country is in great hands.

LESSON OF THE LEMONADE STAND

Eight-year-old Akirah Nyberg and her father of Saint Paul Park, Minnesota, built a lemonade stand.  When the family was off visiting her grandmother, someone stole the 100-poiund lemonade stand from their front yard.  Therein begins the point of today's post.  

Whenever some enterprising person in this country has a goal to achieve and sets out to reach that goal, some liberal, left-wing scumbag comes along and tries to steal the idea, steal the whole project and/or steal the money.  They just can't stomach seeing someone else's success and would much rather destroy another person's dream than to strive to attain their own.  They want to tax the successful businessman into oblivion, deny the baker's right to make an honest living, or make the licensing requirements so restrictive that no business can even get off the ground.  

They are so full of envy and greed themselves that they can't see the forest through the trees.  

Thank God for the good people in this country.  The owner of the St. Paul Saloon, Nicolas Heidenreich and some of his patrons got together and built Akirah a new lemonade stand.  

Now, I assume, the parents of the scum who stole the first stand will be out demanding that the girl get a tax identification number, a business license, a health certificate and that she and her stand meet zoning restrictions.  You would think that the beneficial lessons here would be the value of teaching the young girl about business and money, and that there are good people out there who want to help each other succeed.  

Unfortunately, the real lesson here is that the country is full of self-serving scum who don't have any concept of the word "good."  And they, my friends, unfortunately end up being the politicians in charge of the rest of us.

Out and about yesterday, I had the opportunity to run across many Americans who have flat had it up to here with what is going on in this country.

ILLEGAL TRIBAL MARIJUANA GROWS: TIP OF THE ICEBERG?

The Feds have raided two huge commercial-scale marijuana operations on separate Native American reservations in Alturas, California, (far north-eastern corner of the state).  Refer to this link.

While medicinal pot is legal in California, the potential output of the operations would have far exceeded the retail market within the state.  The question, of course, is where the tribes were going to sell the excess.  The matter is further complicated by the fact that a foreign tobacco company, based in Canada, was the primary mover behind the project.  

Many tribes have been relegated under treaty to remote reservations which make it extremely difficult for them to have any significant economic development.  The advent of casino gaming has helped to alleviate that problem to a certain extent, and here is where the point of this post is going to lead.  In the initial start-up days of tribal gaming, many sinister criminal elements tried to horn in on the action and take control; they saw tribal lands as being a safe haven for their schemes.  

The federal government eventually stepped in and established laws and regulations by which tribes must operate in order to keep out the crooks and shysters.  

The next move on tribal lands was the establishment of "payday loan" operations, whereby borrowers are charged exorbitant rates of interest in order to borrow money until their next paycheck.  These internet-based operations spread across the United States  and sucked borrowers dry, (a large percentage of them were tribal members).  Such operations are now under investigations for racketeering and corruption charges.  Tribes are getting a big black eye over the issue. 

Now comes the growing of pot.  Tribal lands offer some legal barriers for the investor, and having plantations on tribal lands is attractive for many reasons.  The growing, possession or sale of pot on federal lands is against federal law, which theoretically means it is against the law for a tribe to grow on tribal lands.  But, the legal argument is that the tribal lands are not actually federal lands; that they are simply held in trust for the tribes and that the tribes are the real owners, making them exempt from such laws.  On that basis, the feds have said they will allow such plantations providing certain rules are followed.  

But, these operations are just in the embryo stages and in the case of the Pit River Tribe's XL Ranch and the Alturas Rancheria, it appears those guidelines and regulations are rudimentary are not being followed.  Once again, it appears on the face of it that a foreign investor, possibly connected to a drug cartel, is planning to have a marijuana grow on tribal lands and to sell the end product nationally, and not necessarily confined to legal sales.  

It seems that the name of the game, if you are going to do something shady, is to home-base your operation on tribal lands.  What is happening in northeastern California could be only the beginning of many more, and different, problems to come.

FIRST CUBA; NEXT NORTH VIETNAM?

President Obama has announced that the United States and Cuba will both be opening Embassies as they further the establishment of diplomatic relations.  Now, he has met this week at the White House in an unannounced meeting with North Vietnam's Communist Party Boss, Nguyen Phu Trong.  As the news oozed out, members of both American political parties got their backs up.  

North Vietnam has a horrid record on human rights and, of course, has been one of our staunchest enemies for decades.  

You can expect that sometime before Obama leaves office, he will host a State Dinner at the White House with the leaders of North Vietnam, North Korea, Syria, Iran, Libya, the Taliban, the Muslim Brotherhood, Cuba, I.S.I.S. and Al Sharpton. 

He's such a swell guy.  I'd even bet he likes Jane Fonda...

DID OBAMA ACTUALLY SAY SOMETHING INTELLIGENT?

Obama said Monday that he admits I.S.I.S. has become a worldwide threat.  That's so nice and, in and of itself, enough of an admission from Mr. Goody Two-Shoes to turn heads around the globe.  

But he didn't stop there.  He said playing "whack a mole" is not going to solve the problem.  In a completely eloquent statement, he went on to say that brute force against I.S.I.S. isn't going to end the issue in the Middle East; some other terrorist group will just simply appear to fill the void.  He suggested that we need to solve the underlying issues that cause this abhorrent behavior. 

My gut reaction is to say, "Hey, Barry, that sounds like a great idea with which I should agree, but don't we first have to deal with the beheading of I.S.I.S. before we can deal with solving the underlying issues?"  

Well, my friend, that's not the real question here.  The real question is this:  If this strategy is so damned brilliant, why didn't he employ it before he removed all of our troops from Iraq in the first place?  

Yeah, I know how he'll answer that question... I'm a racist.

OREGON COURT: YOU HAVE NO FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS

You may remember the case of Aaron and Melissa Klein, the owners of a now-closed bakery in Oregon who refused to bake a wedding cake for a lesbian couple on the basis of their religious faith.  The court there found them guilty of discrimination and fined them $135,000.  But, it doesn't end there.  

The Judge in the case ordered the Kleins not to talk publicly about not wanting to bake cakes for same-sex weddings based on their Christian beliefs. “This effectively strips us of all our First Amendment rights,” the Kleins, owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa wrote on their Facebook page. “According to the state of Oregon we neither have freedom of religion or freedom of speech.”

Welcome to American fascism.  I wonder how the U.S. Supreme Court will rule on this issue. 

Are we heading toward another American Revolution, or what?

TRUMP'S CORRECT; GET OVER IT

Let me be clear; I am not endorsing Donald Trump with this post.  But, I am 100% supporting him in what he has said about the situation with the southern border.  

We all know that the Obama regime has totally screwed up the illegal alien problem.  Obama has allowed millions... millions of illegals to cross the border and in that group there have been criminals and people who went on to become criminals once they got here.  As a matter of fact, just crossing the border illegally made them into criminals.  

From 2010 to 2014, 121 deaths occurred because we not only allowed those illegals to stay here, but we didn't deport the criminals among them after they were found guilty; we released them back into society.  We all know that this has got to be resolved, first by sealing the Mexican border and then by dealing with the illegals who are already here as well as holding the criminals among them accountable for their actions.     

It's a sad day for America if Trump is the only one willing to tell it like it really is.  No wonder we're in a pile of dung.

FURTHER ON THE GAY MARRIAGE FRONT...

Linda Barnette has issued marriage licenses in Grenada County, Mississippi for 24 years. On Tuesday, she resigned, thereby setting herself up for fines and possible jail time.  She considers herself to be a devout Christian and flatly refuses to issue marriage licenses to gay couples.  “I am a follower of Christ and I believe strongly that the Bible is my final authority.  The Bible teaches that a marriage is to be between a man and a woman. Therefore, because of the recent ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court, I can no longer fulfill my duties as Circuit Clerk and issue marriage licenses to same sex couples.”  

“Christians are being put to the test,” she said. ‘We’re going to see the true Christians who stand. It’s going to be time to stop talking the talk. It’s going to come down to that.” 

You can expect that either the county or local gay activists will bring civil and, possibly, criminal charges against her based on discrimination, bigotry and violation of the Supreme Court ruling. 

I congratulate her for sticking by her religious beliefs.  

I have had an epiphany of my own.  Up to this point, I have been of the "live and let live" philosophy: If gays want a civil ceremony, let them have it.  But, I have now changed my mind.  I stand with Linda Barnette. 

I have been a strong, hard and fast advocate of the Constitution, saying that if you want to change it, amend it.  But, when you assess the situation, where do we mere mortals get the right to change the Word of God?  There's nothing in the Bible which provides for amendment.  Those who seek to alter the Word based on "changing times" fail to understand that most of today's problems in society stem from the lack of moral and ethical conduct.  

So, either you're going to stand up for your beliefs, or you're not.  This is where the rubber meets the road, where true men and women get separated from girls and boys.

SOMETHING TO PONDER THIS 4TH OF JULY

MY GOD, WHAT ARE WE ALLOWING

 OTHERS TO DO TO OUR COUNTRY? 

ALREADY IT BEGINS: GAYS VS. CHURCHES

In Danbury, U.K., a gay couple is suing to force their church into performing their gay wedding.  Both attend St. John the Baptist Church, a branch of the Church of England, and have been in a civil partnership since 2006.  Barrie Drewitt-Barlow said that he and his partner Tony, “feel we have the right as parishioners in our village to utilize the church we attend to get married.

You can bet your sweet petunias that, although this is occurring in England, every gay couple in the United States is following this story and salivating over the prospect of being among the first to file a similar lawsuit in the United States.  They are not satisfied with the Supreme Court decision requiring all states to recognize and allow gay civil marriages.  This is not about having the right to marry; it's about tearing down religious institutions and fundamental rights of the American people.  

That's why there is a push on to destroy the Bill of Rights.  If you will notice, immediately after the Supreme Court decision, Philadelphia's PENNLIVE, a major publication, decided to strictly limit op-eds that were against gay marriage; it wants to undermine the First Amendment.  Obama and the left-wing liberals want to abolish the Second Amendment.  With the recent ruling, both the Ninth and Tenth Amendments have already been summarily crushed.  

These attacks on the foundations of our American Democracy have been underway for several decades.  Americans have turned their attentions away from protecting our government and our way of life to looking for quick rewards, technological toys and easy money.  This constant and urgent quest for instant gratification has dulled the country's awareness of what is really going on in Washington. 

It is only a matter of when, not if, our country falls totally into the hands of fascist socialists and our government of the people, by the people and for the people is dissolved from the face of the earth.

SUPREME COURT RULINGS TOTALLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL

According to the Tenth Amendment,“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” The Ninth Amendment reads: "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." 

That is plain English.  Yet, the Supreme Court, in dealing with ObamaCare and gay marriage, trampled both Amendments.  In doing so, lengthy opinions were issued which changed the meanings of "plain English" and stretched judicial reasoning beyond the limits of insanity and tolerance.  

Whether or not you agree with the outcomes, the Court had no authority, implied or otherwise,  to render those decisions.  

This is the most egregiously activist Supreme Court since the Earl Warren Court, and may even surpass that notoriety. 

This is the biggest damage to American  Democracy in my lifetime, and I totally and firmly resent it.

REVOLUTION? STATES SHOULD REFUSE TO HONOR SUPREME COURT DECISION

Alaska, Washington, New Mexico, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland, D.C., and Maryland all recognized gay marriage prior to Friday's Supreme Court ruling... that's 15 states and the District of Columbia.  The remaining 35 states either had laws against it or were in the process of litigating, which means they are against it. 

If those 35 states stick together and ignore the Supreme Court decision on the basis of Constitutional  State Rights, just what is this illustrious fascist government going to do about it?

IS THIS THE FUTURE OF AMERICA?

AND NOW, THE EMPEROR TRULY DOES REIGN

I'm not going to add much to the uproar and the flack over yesterday's Supreme Court decision; pretty much everything I would say against the decision is being quite adequately said.  What I have to say will, I hope, give you pause to think. 

If you remember correctly, about a month ago Obama came out and warned the Supreme Court that they'd better damned-well do the "right thing" about the decision.  And, if you remember correctly, he came out and warned the Court when they made their first decision upholding ObamaCare.  I suggest to you that in both instances word reached the White House that the rulings were coming down against his prized health care; that's what prompted him to issue his pointed and very public warnings. 

I further suggest to you that those warnings caused Chief Justice John Roberts to change his vote and that, my friend, explains the total stretch of legal imagination involved in the reasoning and majority opinions of both cases.  

Did the Supreme Court do exactly what Obama ordered it to do? 

Late on the day before, we learned that the I.R.S. had destroyed backup tapes of I.R.S. computers which contained copies of Lois Lerner's emails regarding the targeting of Tea Party and other conservative groups.  They did that after Congress had subpoenaed them, and now have the audacity to say that those who committed the act were doing "routine" erasing of backups and that they didn't know about the subpoenas.  Those emails could well have been between Lerner and the White House.  Those who "inadvertently" destroyed the tapes didn't know... every other citizen in the country knew about those subpoenas, but they didn't know. 

Did, Koskinen and the I.R.S. do exactly what Obama's White House ordered them to do? 

And now, there's Congress.  The Republicans have had almost six years to come up with their own version of a new national health care act, but they haven't.  They are quick to say they have "several" available, but yet have not publicly aired even one of them.  And, we have the fast-track international trade bills which are just as bad for this country, if not worse than ObamaCare; although the country is against the trade bills, Congress got them passed... and nobody has read them. 

Did both Houses of Congress and both political parties do exactly what Obama ordered them to do? 

Obama obviously controls the Supreme Court, the I.R.S. and the Congress.  And there's not a damned thing you or the rest of America are willing to do about it? 

Yes, the Emperor truly does reign.

FLAGITATE

We have now been informed by the "intellectual establishment" that the murders in Charleston would not have occurred had guns and the confederate flag been banned in this country.   The availability of a gun and constant exposure to the confederate flag evidently drove Dylann Roof nuts; therefore, as some attorney will soon eloquently argue, Roof was the real victim here.  

Well, shame on America.  

Perhaps, when we logically apply that argument elsewhere, the flag of the Democratic Party causes members to make asses out of themselves?

I.S.I.S.: SHAME ON AMERICANS

There was a time in this country... in days gone way, way by... when we were a principled nation; we knew what was right and we never wavered the perseverance of that right and justice in the country and in the world.  Oh, we didn't go out of our way to pick a fight, but we surely let everyone know where we stand.  

History usually has a way of repeating itself.  Way back when, even before I was born, Hitler was marching across Europe and systematically burning Jews in ovens.  We turned our backs on the atrocities being committed by the Nazi party and allowed Hitler to continue gaining strength and burning Jews.  We had to wait for the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor before we realized that we either had to do something or allow the forces of good to perish from the face of the earth.  

From that, you would expect that we would have learned our lessons: don't allow evil to exist and take root in the world; don't allow human suffering at the hands of vicious, sadistic oppressors. Be prepared to stand up and fight to defend what is right and what is good. 

But, here we are again and we forget those lessons while I.S.I.S. has taken root in the Middle East and foments the beheading of its enemies, sells women into slavery and rapes them repeatedly at will, destroys antiquities, tortures children and prisoners... and we are comfortable, once again turning our backs and dismissing the atrocities faster than we can change the channel on our televisions sets.  

"We're tired of war and we simply don't give a damn what's going on with I.S.I.S.  If you get in their way, that's your problem, not ours."  Even if there IS another Pearl Harbor just around the corner, even if carnage and horror exists, even if a sea of humanity is being tortured...even as the heads of those unfortunate souls roll in streets soaked with blood... we can always change the channel and watch something else. 

Sleep well tonight, America.  And while you're at it... have a great Fourth of July.

V.A. IMPLODING

Well more than a year after the scandal broke about the rotten service at V.A. hospitals and when Obama and his new V.A. Secretary, Robert McDonald, promised the nation to get the problems fixed, things have gotten much worse according to a report on TOWNHALL.COM. 

"The number of veterans seeking health care but ending up on waiting lists of one month or more is 50 percent higher now than it was a year ago when a scandal over false records and long wait times wracked the Department of Veterans Affairs, THE NEW YORK TIMES reported.  

"The VA also faces a budget shortfall of nearly $3 billion, the Times reported in a story posted online ahead of its Sunday editions. The agency is considering furloughs, hiring freezes and other significant moves to reduce the gap, the newspaper reported." That's a terrific way ti improve service...

As is typical with Obama and all of his cronies, no one is accepting responsibility for the increase in waiting times; they're blaming "more patients."  

"And perhaps the most alarming revelation from the new wait time information? The VA, aka government healthcare run by bureaucrats, is actively determining who does and does not receive proper care through rationing and yes, death panels."  

Seniors in this country should be prepared to face the same increase in wait times for services, overall declining services and "death panels..." another one of the many broken promises Obama has thrust upon Americans.  After all, you will recall, when Obama was originally out there campaigning to sell ObamaCare, he was saying how it would be modeled after the V.A. system.  

In the meanwhile, vets who have returned home from the battlefield are getting more lip service and less health service from the V.A.

THEY HAVE NO BRAINS

How simplistic they think life is.  Get rid of guns; stop killings.  Get rid of soft drinks; stop obesity.  Get rid of the confederate flag; stop racism.  

How about get rid of sex; stop radical left-wing zombies?

LET CHARLESTON BE THE NATION'S EPIPHANY

You would think, in light of the relatively minor provocations of Ferguson, New York City and Baltimore, that the nine murders in Charleston would have fueled violent riots at the very least.  Granted, the shootings were not cops vs. Blacks, but all nine of them were clearly, admittedly and blatantly... racially motivated. 

Instead, the residents of the city of Charleston came together, united in grief and steadfast in their purpose of routing out evil from their community.  

When Roof walked into that church, the picture clearly shows him opening the door with his right hand and keeping his left hand on his pistol, evidently tucked into his pants on his back side.  He was a scum with purpose, set on doing his evil deeds.   And he sat among his intended victims, listening to the scriptures with them as they opened up their hearts and welcomed `a stranger... a white stranger... into their midst. 

He broke their trust: he killed them.  And, he's made no apology about doing it.  

There is a difference between Baltimore and Charleston.  God and good live and thrive in Charleston; they've been chased out of Baltimore.  Charleston is obviously a city of love; Baltimore is a city filled with hatred.  

Isn't it time that Baltimore and the rest of this country got back to God and good?  Isn't it time that we chased evil and hatred back to the hell from which they originate?  Don't we need to neutralize those who foment anger and division... the Sharptons and Obamas of the world?  We have allowed them to turn us against each other, to divide us and to marginalize God in our daily lives. 

Let us stand united once again, united with God as we were when we built this great nation.  Let us be divided no more, for divided we shall indeed crumble into disgusting, decadent dust.

GUNS: HERE WE GO AGAIN

The gunsmoke had barely cleared the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina and already Barack Hussein was making the horrible shooting disaster into a political opportunity to seize guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens across the country.  My God... I know... "never let disaster stand in the way of political opportunity." 

The guy who evidently committed this heinous act was previously arrested on drug charges, subsequent to which his father purchased him a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol.  

Was it the gun's fault?  Was it my fault or your fault?  Would mandatory gun registration have prevented this crime?  Would this guy have used explosives instead, if he didn't have a gun?  Nine innocent people died in that church; how many died on the nation's highways or were stabbed to death?  How many died on the streets of Chicago where some of the toughest gun control laws in the country exist?  If one of those churchgoers had been legally carrying a concealed weapon, would all of those nine unfortunate people now be dead?  

How long did it take the cops, those who would protect us, to reach the crime scene after the first call came in? 

If this so-called president would only pursue I.S.I.S. with the same vengeance he uses to pursue gun control, I.S.I.S. would no longer exist.

The Obama Administration and the Congressional Democrats would have us believe that if we get more involved in Iraq, it'll mean another war against Iraq... that we'll have to defeat them all over again. 

These times are not about Iraq.  They're not about Yemen, Libya, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Lebanon, Iran... they ARE about I.S.I.S. 

I've said several times that I would be inclined to let those countries all fight it out and to keep us totally out of it.  But, when it comes to I.S.I.S., that is a camel of a different color.  

I.S.I.S. poses a direct and imminent threat to the United States and its allies.  And that fact has to be dealt with.  So far, none of the countries on the above list seem to have demonstrated the ability to handle I.S.I.S.  

We need to get the messaging straight; We are NOT talking about going back into Iraq, but we ARE talking about going after I.S.I.S., wherever they are.    

So, who is going to do it?  More urgently... WHEN?

When Hillary spoke to the Women in the World Summit on April 23rd,, she said: “Rights have to exist in practice – not just on paper.  Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs, and structural biases have to be changed.”  

In other words, she practices he Obama Doctrine: "I have the right to do what I want regardless of the law, public opinion, religious belief or the will of the people."

RELEASED CRIMINAL ILLEGALS COMMITTING HUNDRED OF VIOLENT CRIMES

BREITBART.COM is reporting that hundreds, if not thousands of violent crimes have been committed by illegals who were released from prison for other crimes and scheduled for deportation, but who never left the country. 

“Between FY 2010 and FY 2014, there were 121 unique criminal aliens who had an active case at the time of release and were subsequently charged with homicide-related offenses. Of these 121 individuals who were bonded out, 33 were released on a bond set by [The Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review] and 24 were released pursuant to the Supreme Court decision in Zadvydas v. Davis,” ICE has revealed.  

In a letter dated Friday to Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Secretary of State John Kerry, and Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, Grassley and Sessions point out that the murders are the shocking tip of the iceberg.  “This disturbing fact follows ICE’s admission that, of the 36,007 criminal aliens it released from ICE custody in FY 2013, 1,000 have been re-convicted of additional crimes in the short time since their release,” Grassley and Sessions wrote.  

Now, isn't that just ducky? 

By the way, this situation stems from the same administration that is releasing murderous terrorists from GITMO.

BUTT-NAKED ON MAIN STREET

There's been a second hacking of federal personnel records about which nobody is talking.  This one gets into the sensitive background information submitted by intelligence and military personnel for security clearances.  When you apply for such a clearance, you get right down to the nitty gritty about traffic tickets, mental exams, indebtedness... you name it.  Forms also require the listing of contacts and relatives, potentially exposing any foreign relatives of U.S. intelligence employees to coercion. Both the applicant's Social Security number and that of his or her cohabitant is required. 

And now the hackers have that information on every current and former federal employee and military member going back at least ten years, maybe back to 1980.  Officials said they believe the hack into the security clearance database was separate from the breach of federal personnel data announced last week, a breach that is itself appearing far worse than first believed.  This puts the enemy in perfect position to blackmail or otherwise coerce federal employees and military personnel into becoming spies.  

So, big deal, you propose; I've never been in the military and never worked for the government.  When I fill out the paperwork for a security clearance and list you as a relative or personal reference, it is standard protocol for the investigators to check you out to see if you have a criminal background, nefarious connections or if you are a member of the Communist Party.  In other words,, your information could be in the files that were hacked. 

How does it feel to be butt-naked on Main Street?  How does it feel to know that your government that you pay taxes to support has allowed this to happen and, furthermore, that it does not seem to be at all concerned about it?

I never thought I'd be thanking the Democrats, but they showed some rare patriotic Americanism yesterday; they defied Obama's demagoguery on the issue and participated in voting town the Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade deal, (TPP).  In a 302-126 vote, the House killed a worker aid bill that was tied to the president's main agenda item...legislation that would give Obama "fast-track" authority to negotiate trade deals.  

At the behest of Obama and his cohorts, details of the legislation were kept hidden from the public, just like the infamous details of the ObamaCare bill.  We'd have to "pass it to know what's in it."  Most Congressmen and Senators had no time to read the Bill when it finally came up for a vote.  House Republican leaders, who have been Obama's biggest supporters on the trade issue, said after the vote they could try again next week.  "We are not done with it," House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said. "We need to finish this job."  That is their stance regardless of the fact that Americans are opposed to it. 

The legislation included no meaningful protections against currency manipulation by some of America's trading partners, whose actions have ruined millions of middle class jobs.  It seems to me that we should be concentrating on resolving our own economic problems, problems that have been exacerbated by the continuing flow of American jobs to other countries.  We should also be changing our tax laws and business regulations to encourage American corporations to bring their overseas investment dollars back into the country, thereby creating more jobs in all sectors of the economy.  

The proposed trade deal would not, in my opinion, improve things in the country one damned bit.

CENSORSHIP TAKES HOLD IN AMERICA

I'm not taking a position on the police action in McKinney, Texas because the facts are not all out on the table.  All I know is what I saw on the video we have all seen and it was, indeed ugly.  

Alberto Iber, Principal of North Miami Senior High School, was fired for an editorial in the newspaper which reads: “He did nothing wrong.  He was afraid for his life. I commend him for his actions.”  Miami-Dade County Public Schools released a statement on June 10 announcing that Iber had been removed from his position at the high school and reassigned to an administrative position. The district said they require their employees to conduct themselves “in a manner that represents the school district’s core values.”  

In other words, you have no right to free speech and the school system has the right of censorship.  

The school system has no more of an idea as to what took place in Texas than you or I do.  Yet, it has apparently reached the conclusion that the cop was in the wrong, as was Iber for voicing his opinion on the matter.  

The school system, bulwark of education about our government and our Constitution, has seen fit to impose it's own prejudicial standards in violation of the Fifth Amendment.  Superintendent Alberto Carvalho is the one who should be fired. 

Some day, I hope the real Americans who still remain in this country will get the courage to stand up for what they supposedly believe in.

CHINA'S NEXT MOVE

China, knowing that Obama is a weak leader, has been encroaching into the South China Sea by turning coral reefs into islands and building military bases on them.  When Obama whined recently that the move wasn't nice, China basically told him to go pound some of his own sand.  CONSERVATIVEBYTE.COM is now reporting that China is planning to demand that the U.S. secure its debt to China by putting up American businesses and high-value land as collateral; in the event we miss a payment, they take over the country.  

Now, just what do you think Obama is going to o about that?

HARD-HEADED AND DUMB AS A POST

Here's the scenario: you're on the battlefield, stuck in a foxhole and without ammo; a hundred feet away is your enemy, stuck in his foxhole.  One of you is going to die.  Now, the enemy doesn't know what your next move is going to be, and you don't know his.  One thing is certain: if you don't have a strategy, you sure as hell don't holler over to the other guy, "Hey there!  If you come after me, I don't know what in the hell I'm going to do about it, because I'm out of ammo."  

We've all known in our hearts and souls that Obama is like a deer in the headlights: he has no strategy and he  doesn't have the slightest idea about what he's going to do about I.S.I.S.  But, to stand up in front of the world and broadcast that fact is about as dumb a move as anyone in charge of our national security can be.  In essence, he's saying, "Come and get us, because we have no plan to deal with you."  

He's done that twice, now. 

The really tough part of this situation is that we are complacent enough to think that our military will step into the fight and do something if they have to.  The real problem with that is, Obama is the Chief of Staff; therefore, the military can't do anything without his permission or direction.  Yes... that's the real Catch 22.  

Right now, this inept imbecile who struts like a dictator is acting worse than a baby in a crib; even a baby in the crib cries for help when he doesn't know what do do about his fear or discomfort.  

But, it's no laughing matter.  Our southern border is wide open; our northern border would be wide open, too, if we didn't have such a strong ally in Canada.  I.S.I.S. is by no means confined to a stretch of desert in Iraq.  We have a super-weak, narcissistic "president" who is beyond reform.  We have a government that is full of incompetent leaders.  We're like defenseless zombies standing out in the cornfields with our pants down to our ankles, waving red flags at a herd of charging bulls.  

We're ripe for the plucking.

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF COPS

At the outset, don't get me wrong; I am 100% pro-cop.  They are the enforcers of our laws, the good guys who set examples and who nag at our consciences.  Without them, the country would be as lawless as the old west and anarchy would surely reign.  

But, they're also a fraternal organization, and fraternal brothers and sisters look after each other and take their backs.  Which leads me to the point: any cop on any police force knows the good cops from the bad cops.  The good cops have an obligation to straighten out the bad cops; if they can't get the job done by brotherly chats of advice, then they need to take their issues up the ranks.  If you have a guy on the force who is a hot head, who is reactionary and who doesn't use good common sense or think things through before dealing with confrontation or crime, that cop needs to be counseled.  

When you have a cop who does something dumb, such as pulling a gun on an unarmed teen or beating a suspect beyond consciousness, that cop gives the whole force a bad name; and he gives the press and the public an excuse to berate cops in general.  Granted, things escalate, tensions rise, the heat of the battle takes charge.  But, cool-headed, trained cops are going to come out on top of those situations without opening the barn door to criticism or second-guessing.  

Good cops are professionals in every sense of the word and although it's not written in any training manual, one of their duties is to take the less professional cops under their wings and either straighten them out or report them to someone who can.

NAG, NAG, NAG

For the very first time in 6-1/2 years, the American people felt like it had a leader Saturday when American  Pharoah pranced around the track at Pimlico to what appeared to the novice as an easy win.  That was the first good news to come out of the East Coast of the United States in a very long time.  

Obama is said to be wondering why a damned horse gets to wear three crowns when he himself only gets to wear one.

HEY THERE, SUCKER!

Now that we're down the road a year since Barry traded five top Taliban Gitmo prisoners for one useless, hopeless deserter, now that Barry has spent an entire year defending his illustrious trade, and now that his back is to the wall over his stupid audacity... now, after all of that, Obama says he did the deal because he wanted to convert the Taliban terrorists into being spies for the U.S.  

If Obama expects us to swallow that story, he truly does not know the difference between horse shit and apple butter.

NUCLEAR IRAN: OBAMA LIES

The NEW YORK TIMES has reported that Iran's nuclear stockpile has increased by at least 20% during the time negotiations have been ongoing, despite an Obama assertion that processing was halted while talks continued.  Western officials and experts cannot quite figure out why. One possibility is that Iran has run into technical problems that have kept it from converting some of its enriched uranium into fuel rods for reactors, which would make the material essentially unusable for weapons. Another is that it is increasing its stockpile to give it an edge if the negotiations fail.  

One of the terms of the ongoing negotiations is that Iran must reduce its stockpile by 96% shortly after the deal is signed.  In light of the situation as it is, one must ask: if they reduce their current stockpile by 96%, what is to prevent them from building a new stockpile?  And, why is the administration not leveling with the American pubic about the situation as it exists? 

One of the problems that has been addressed is where would the 96% of the stockpile being reduced be sent or how would it be disposed of?  While the suggestion was it should be sent out of the country, Iran's position is that it should be kept in Iran in kind of a "quarantine," but also that we would not be allowed to inspect it periodically.  

Obviously, Iran is flipping the big finger at Obama.  Nevertheless, he seems content to go along and play the game by their rules while telling us, Israel and the rest of the world that everything is going to be just ducky.
