PULL THOSE DAMNED PASSPORTS

As a result of the Canadian attacks in Ottawa it has been revealed that Canadian law allows for the revoking of passports of known terrorists who are Canadian citizens.  The gunman in the shootings there had had his passport revoked; that didn't stop him from his terrorist shootings, but it had stopped his travel back and forth between Canada and I.S.I.S.  

The United States has no such provisions in its law.  As a result, U.S. citizens who convert to radical Islam are able to freely travel back and forth between the U.S. and the Middle East, enabling them to learn new tactics of terror and to obtain orders and instruction.  Even without such a passport, domestic terrorists are free to travel in and out of the U.S. across our southern border. 

We have laws which deal with terrorism;  18 US Code 113B is the prime example.  All we have to do is amend that law to include provisions for: 

• Temporary suspension of passport pending investigation and resolution of charges

• Permanent revocation of passport upon conviction under 18 US Code 113B

And, of course, we need to close down our southern border by adding 1,500 to 2,000 more troops down there until more border agents can be hired and trained.  I believe we should also cut any U.S. aid to Mexico until it participates in the border closure. 

Our Congress and the President in particular have a Constitutional duty to protect us and the nation from all threats, both foreign and domestic.  The Senate Democrats and the President have both failed miserably in this task; in fact, actions which they have undertaken have made it much easier from those who would plot against us to succeed. 

• Pull those damned passports.
• Close the Mexican border.
• Get rid of the Senate Democrats and hamstring the President.

Let's protect ourselves from terrorism, drug trafficking and disease.

REVERSE RACISM RUNNING RAMPANT IN DEMOCRATIC PARTY

In an ugly, last-minute attempt to save themselves from an ugly result in the November 4 elections, Democrats are playing the race card in attempt to get Black voters to the polls.  

One Black says: "I am a 59-year-old African American man, born and raised in Jacksonville, and now living with my family in New Bern. I am insulted by the arrogance of the Democratic candidates during this election because they talk to us through their advertisements as if we are stupid...I was shocked to hear the radio commercial that featured a couple of ladies suggesting the Republicans were trying to take away the rights of African Americans to vote. The voter ID initiative,(if that’s what they’re referring to) is to preserve the integrity of the vote, and a photo ID can be acquired for free through the North Carolina DMV...These things do not invoke trust within me or many of my friends for the current Obama administration. The Democrats are spending an awful lot of money on negative ads designed to discredit Republicans. Why would anyone choose that kind of strategy over one that highlights their own accomplishments?"  

He raises a good question: Why aren't Democratic candidates running on their own merits?  Perhaps they've discovered that they don't have any.

OUR DATE WITH DESTINY HAS ARRIVED

Ronald Reagan often spoke abut our "rendezvous with destiny."  He spoke in vivid terms about how our unchecked government could take over our lives and interfere with our liberties.  He spoke about an elitist government, a government that believes it can decide how you live your life better than you can.  And he spoke relentlessly about the steady drumbeat of Marxism, Progressiveness and even Communism in the halls of our nation's capitol.   In short, he argued, unless Americans rise up and take control for themselves, those who stand to lose the most will surely lose it. 

He was correct and the day has now arrived.  

This election cannot be defined in terms of popularity of the candidates; it must be defined on the basis of individual freedoms and liberties, and our abilities to make our own decisions about who we are and how we are going to live our lives.  We all know that we are unhappy with Congress, our President and our government.  I submit to you that the real reason for our displeasure is that we know our government is screwing up, refusing to listen to us; our ship of state is floundering in a very stormy sea. 

Yet, the ability to regain our more conservative and responsible footing is right here, in our hands.  By voting in November to throw the evil-doers out of office, we have the ability to stop the train of Marxism and Progressiveness; we have the ability to rescue our freedoms from the grips of elitist totalitarianism.  We have the ability to harness the runaway presidency that is destroying our country.   

We can and we must regain control.

OBAMA PLANS TOTAL AMNESTY AFTER ELECTIONS

President Obama is laying the groundwork to use an Executive Order to circumvent Congressional authority and to grant total amnesty to all illegals, (both recent and prior), in this country, according to informed sources.  Obama is also planning to issue official government identification cards to all illegals.  The Administration is actively seeking bids from firms who can prepare and issue the identification cards in enormous quantities.  

The request for proposals says the agency will need a minimum of four million cards per year; in the “surge,” scenario in 2016, the agency would need an additional five million cards, more than double the baseline annual amount, for a total of 9 million.  

The arrogant audacity of this Administration never ceases to amaze me.  This is certainly one more reason why we must take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that the Democrats soundly lose their Senate majority during this election cycle.  Get out and vote!

OBAMA DECLARES WAR!!!

American President Barack Hussein Obama, faced with enormous problems just before the midterm elections such as Ebola, I.S.I.S., Ebola, Iran, Ebola, Benghazi, Ebola, immigration, Ebola, Russia, Ebola, the V.A., Ebola and Ebola... has reacted with a firm hand and announced that the biggest problem facing the nation today is global warming and he is totally committed and determined to defeat it. 

Gosh... do you sometimes get the feeling, as I do, that he needs to have his tree examined?  Well, I decided to do something about it and started calling tree experts yesterday.  I managed to call 114 tree experts across the country and they all categorically refused to take the job.  "Some cases are just totally untreatable," lamented one tree expert from Iowa.  "I'd rather clean my navel than tackle this problem." 

I hear through the Washington grapevine that Obama is going to ask Congress for $1 trillion to deal with global warming.  He plans to immediately send 3,000 troops to Iceland's Holuhraun Volcano to take care of that imminent threat to global warming.  He's also naming a new Global Warming Czar, Alphonso Gore, to coordinate activities.  "Until we defeat global warming, nothing else in the world today can be solved," Obama asserted from the 12th green at Augusta National Golf Course.  "I don't care if we have to spend $2 trillion or even $5 trillion, we simply have to win this war."  He then proceeded to sink a 15 inch putt and gave his caddie, Tiger Woods, a high-five, then marking down an eight for the par-three hole.  

I've finally decided that the entire Obama Presidency can be summed up in one word: ludicrous. Just ludicrous.

EBOLA: IS IT A MANUFACTURED CRISIS?

Here we are, just a couple of weeks before the midterm elections.  The major issues going into this election cycle have been the I.R.S., the V.A., Benghazi, the borders, ObamaCare, I.S.I.S. and gay marriage.  But, those issues are totally out of the news; the only subject being discussed is Ebola. 

Why is that?  Is it by design?  Are the press, media and White House simply trying to change the subject?  Or, has Ebola become the focal point of the failures of the Senate Democrats and Barack Hussein Obama?

CDC FLUBBED... AGAIN

The second nurse who contracted Ebola and who flew from Cleveland to Dallas on Frontier Airlines, was cleared for the flight by CDC.  CDC was quick to say that at the time she flew from Dallas to Cleveland she exhibited no symptoms and they are now changing their flight clearance policy.  

But, "don't worry and fear not," according to CDC and the White House.  More lies, spins and coverups seem to be the continuing order of the day.  Damn this Administration and everyone in it, and damn Congress for not getting back to Washington for a day or two to deal with this national crisis and lack of responsible Executive Branch leadership.

EBOLA: AND AWAY WE GO

The second healthcare worker at the Dallas Hospital where Thomas Duncan died from Ebola has now been diagnosed with the disease.  At the same time, the hospital is now admitting it was unprepared to deal with Ebola at all.  Dozens more of hospital workers may have been exposed to the disease and are now on the "watch" list. 

So much for the Administration's insistent claims that they have had everything under control.  Anyone who believes anything this government administration says about anything needs to have his/her head examined. 

Where are the President and Congress during this national emergency?

GOVERNMENT INTRUDES INTO RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

The city of Houston is demanding that all churches turn over all sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or the city's first openly lesbian mayor.  This is not the first time government has intruded into religious freedom; the I.R.S. has taken the position that if the pastor of any church utters one political word the church may lose its tax-exempt status.  In other words, if you are a religious organization or person, you have no inherent liberty of speech.  

It's called oppression.  

If you do not understand the implications of these moves, you need to study what the haps were in Germany before Hitler became dictator, or in Russia before Stalin.  

If we are going to change the way things are going and bring responsibility back to government, we are going to have to change the players.  November 4th is just around the corner.  Are you registered?

IS I.S.I.S. USING HUSSEINS CHEMICAL WEAPONS?

FOX NEWS is reporting disturbing new photos of ethnic Kurds killed by Islamic State fighters are stoking fears that the terrorist army may be using chemical weapons seized from Saddam Hussein’s old arsenals.  The pictures, obtained by the Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA), show the bodies of Syrian Kurds who appear to have been gassed by ISIS in the besieged Kobani region this July. That fighting came just one month after Islamic State forces surged through the once-notorious Muthanna compound in Iraq, the massive base where Hussein began producing chemical weapons in the 1980s, which he used to kill thousands of Kurds in Halabja in northern Iraq in 1988.  

Right off the bat, we know that this supposition is an impossibility.  Although claims of weapons of mass destruction supposedly owned by Hussein were abundant, none were ever found.  The Democrats made hay out of that story in the 2008 elections, and since they are the epitome of all-knowing, all-seeing pricks of the universe, it certainly must be true such chemical weapons did not exist in Hussein's Iraq.

So, I find it difficult, if not impossible, to believe that those I.S.I.S. guys who pose no threat to the United States or any of our allies, could or would use chemical weapons against their enemies.  Fear not; Obama, the real all-seeing and all-knowing omnipotent one is here.

FIRE CONGRESS IN NOVEMBER?

Every day, I am besieged by citizens who are more than fed up with the greed, abuse of power and corruption in Washington.  The level of disgust with our elected "servants" has reached a thunderous roar.  The level of approval of Congress has reached its lowest point in history.  

Well folks, I have to tell it like it is: I can't do anything about it.  Unlike our President, I don't pretend to be omnipotent.  I don't have any power to change things.  But, WE do. 

We know from experience that we cannot do anything about it by sitting on our duffs and watching MTV.  And we know from experience that those who want to continue the perversion of our government for their own uses will be making every effort to get their cohorts and zombie followers out to vote on November 4th.  In 2012, those who were tired of change simply stayed at home, thinking they had the election in the bag; Obama and his goons won reelection.  

If we really don't like the Members of Congress, and all of the polls say we don't, then we need to take to the voting booths ourselves in large and ominous numbers and vote these sorry sacks of cow dung out of office.  

Our future is in our hands.  Let's not fumble the ball.

HUCKABEE MAY QUIT REPUBLICAN PARTY

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee says he will leave the GOP if Republicans abandon their ardent opposition to gay marriage and abortion.  “Because at that point, you lose me,” Huckabee said. “I’m gone. I’ll become an independent. I’ll start finding people that have guts to stand. I’m tired of this.”  

Well said, sir.  It's time this country got back to the fundamental values upon which this country was founded, and upon which we have survived for 238 years.  The continuing chips on those values by the disgusting liberal left have contributed immensely to the decline and approaching fall of the United States.  

We need to remember what they are doing to this country when we cast our votes in the mid-term elections.  A big tip of the hat and thanks to Mr. Huckabee for telling it like it should be.

I.S.I.S. HAS ALREADY CROSSED U.S. BORDER

California Congressman Duncan Hunter says at least ten I.S.I.S. members have already been apprehended at the U.S. - Mexico border.  How many have managed to slip through is not known.  “They caught them at the border, therefore we know that ISIS is coming across the border,” Hunter says. “If they catch five or ten of them then you know there’s going to be dozens more that did not get caught by the border patrol.”  Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey said in August that the open southern border poses an "immediate threat" of terrorism within the United States.  

The steadfast, obstinate refusal of this President to listen to the American will and close the border can no longer be tolerated.  Those members of Congress who continue support and/or ignore Obama's failure to act on this issue simply must be removed from office in November.  

Please do your duty to your country and vote accordingly.

The mid-term elections are less than four weeks away.  Are you going to reward Congress by reelecting them?  Are you going to allow your neighbors, friends and family to reelect them?

OBAMA EMBARRASSES INDIAN PRIME MINISTER

Here's a tidbit of Washington news that didn't make the circuit last week:  President Barack Obama hosted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 29th and put forth a lavish feast of crisped halibut, avocado, goat cheese and more... with mango crème brulee for dessert. 

The problem?  Modi was in the middle of a nine-day religious fast and had to sit at the table with a glass of water while others partook of the fete.  So much for the cultural differences among people that Obama insists he respects to the nth degree.  He's just soooo cool.

SOYA AND IDCA EPIDEMICS STRIKE U.S.; SPEADING RAPIDLY

We have every right to be fearful of I.S.I.S. and Ebola.  However, there are two other epidemics which have been brewing and are now infesting our nation, and they are undoubtedly more dangerous to our country than I.S.I.S. and Ebola combined.  I'm talking about the SOYA and IDCA epidemics that no one is willing to even talk about.   

SOYA, (Sitting on Your Ass) and IDCA, (I Don't Care Anymore), have reared their ugly hides in every state of the union and among all walks of life.  The rich, the poor and the middle class alike are being attacked and overcome by these two dangerous epidemics.  No one wants to go to the polls and exercise their obligations as Americans; when faced with an out-of-control, oppressive government people are simply shrugging their shoulders and saying, "I don't care anymore." 

These epidemics struck Germany before Hitler, Russia before Stalin, Iraq before Hussein and France before Napoleon.  If history teaches us anything, it is that these epidemics have struck the United States before Obama. 

Is there a vaccine against these diseases?  Is there a cure?  Fortunately, the answer is a solid and unmistakable "Yes."  The antidotes are known as GOYA and DSAI, (Get off Your Ass and Do Something About It).  Even Jesus knew fully well that in order to get the attention of the multitudes and to recruit Christians, he had to get off his ass and do something about it. 

Take the cure.  Start paying attention now to what is going on with our democracy and plan on voting in November.  Vote out those who stand behind our pretending dictator; Stomp out SOYA and IDC now, and forever.

EBOLA: DON'T YOU DARE TELL ME NOT TO BE AFRAID

The Obama Administration trumpets started blasting in full force late Thursday and into Friday and the weekend, assuring us that no Ebola outbreak or epidemic would ever happen in the United States.  And, everyone involved flatly refused to curtail flights from African nations into the U.S. or to impose any temporary quarantine prior to making such flights.  

"Well," they say, "He's only one and it turns out our security screening was just fine, because he lied on his application to travel."  Huh?  He has to suspect he has Ebola because he's been in such close contact with a patient who died from it and where is he going to get the best care; why wouldn't he lie on his travel papers?  You call a verbal questionnaire a "screening?"  

Oh, there has yet to be any Ebola case that has originated in the U.S., so everything is under control.  How do we know that until those he has been in contact with go through the incubation period?  And they have 50 of his contacts under observation, four in enforced quarantine; another 50 or more people could have been in contact with him.  And there are dozens of flights into the U.S. from African nations every week with 200 or more occupants on each one. 

All of these "assurances" come from the mouths of those who told us Al Qaeda was defeated and that it was safe to bring our troops home... those who told us you could keep your health plan and your doctor and that your premiums would actually go down under ObamaCare. 

Why have Britain and France both put flight restrictions into effect?  Let me ask you: If you knew of an I.S.I.S. terrorist who had beheaded people and you knew he was on a plane headed to the United States, wouldn't you be mad as hell at our security protocols?  Well, what is the difference between him and an Ebola carrier?  

The more they insist that everything is hunky dory, the more convinced I am that it is not.  With these lying, spinning and incompetent dungholes in charge, don't you dare tell me not to be afraid.

IS KOREA'S MIDGET DICTATOR OUT?

PATRIOT.COM is reporting that a former top North Korean official says Kim Jong-Un is no longer in control of North Korea.  Pyongyang is reportedly under lock-down and the President has not been seen publicly for days.  "The Country’s Organization and Guidance Department (OGD), a powerful group of officials, have stopped taking orders from Kim Jong-un. A battle is simmering between factions within the OGD."  

Gosh, what will we do without that affable little runt around?  Maybe we could send Obama over there to take over their country for them and to help them out. They could use a good healthcare plan. 

Frankly, I think the news is too good to be true.

IS EBOLA MUSHROOMING IN U.S.?

When the news broke that the U.S. had its first Ebola case, the C.D.C. was quick to say that it was only one case, that it had been contained and there should be no cause for alarm.  Word then leaked that the victim, from Liberia, had actually gone to a hospital for treatment several days earlier, been diagnosed as having a low grade fever and sent home, although he had informed everyone that he was just back from Africa.  

By Wednesday, fears that his family might be infected caused members to be confined to their Dallas apartment.  Still, government officials were insisting that everything was under control and that no cause for concern existed.  Yet, by yesterday over 100 people were known to have been in contact with the victim; how many people they have been in contact with is not known at this time. If each of those 100 has been in contact with just 50 people, we have 5,000 more potential Ebola cases on our hands.  

The real worry here is that the Obama Administration has a lengthy history of lying to the people.  Just how many more people do we already have in the country that are known to be infected with the Ebola virus?  We've heard of several possible cases, but follow-up news regarding them has virtually disappeared. 

Knowing that Ebola exists in Africa, why hasn't the government established a protocol for screening out potential carriers of the virus before they enter the U.S.?  Even now, after we know the first case has appeared, why hasn't the government rushed to establish effective and meaningful screening procedures?  

The C.D.C., Texas Governor Rick Perry and everyone else involved is repeating that everything is okay and pleading for us not to be alarmists.  With this Administration, I can't help but to be reminded of the same statements that were being made by the Nazis while they were marching Jews to death camps.  I'm sorry to be cynical and worried, but I have to ask: "When is the last time Obama told this country the truth about anything?" 

I'm staying on my mountain, far away from people.  I will never get into an airplane, bus or other mode of mass transportation while this epidemic takes hold, and I am going to stay away from all crowds and anyone who has been traveling, especially overseas.  And, I suppose I should have to apologize to the C.D.C. for suggesting that their advice to the effect that washing your hands regularly will prevent Ebola is simply not true.  

What IS true is that our government seems to be totally impotent when it comes to protecting us from I.S.I.S., illegal immigration, Ebola and any other danger.  We simply have to change faces in Washington in November.

OBAMA: LET TAHMOORESSI ROT

After over six months since the imprisonment, why hasn't President Obama spoken with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto about the plight of Marin Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi who is stuck in a Mexican jail?  Could it be that he has had an intelligence failure... that he doesn't know because he hasn't read the papers?  Maybe with all of the flack he's been getting from Rush Limbaugh, he's been distracted?  Or, could it be that he's been so busy trying to clean up the pile of messes he's created that he simply hasn't had the time? 

No way, Jose.  The question was brought up in a White House Press Conference and we got the scoop: Obama has decided that the matter should be handled by the State Department.  Has he bothered to call anyone at the State Department to see what the haps are?  Well, uh.... no, he HAS been too busy to do THAT. 

Let's see... how many rounds of golf has the President played over the last six months?  Does he not have access to a cell phone while he's on the golf course? Oh, I forgot that he has to do fundraisers. 

It's obvious to even this low man on the conservative totem pole that Obama couldn't care less about a decorated ex-Marine.  Sorry about that, Andrew; you don't matter to this President unless you're an illegal alien.

WILL U.S. LET IRAN HAVE THEIR NUKES?

Faced with a group of Syrian rebels who probably cannot be successfully trained to tackle a ground war against I.S.I.S. and also with an Iraqi army that has an ominous history of running into the bushes, Obama is said to be ready to sign a pact with Iran wherein Iran would be allowed to complete its nuclear weapons program in return for their help in defeating the terrorist organization.  

This proposition is certainly not palatable and I was about to say that I could not fathom the possibility that Obama was even considering it.  But now, on second thought, I think Obama will go for it. 

Will you let him do it?

Spending the day cooped up in a car on the way home from a mini-vacation, one has the opportunity to hear a whole lot of views on a whole lot of subjects. In the midst of all of these talking heads, I heard a question of FOX NEWS:  "Just what can we do with all of the dumb people in the country, anyway?"  

In the interest of brevity, since I'm playing catch up this morning anyway, I suggest that we rout them all out of their plush Washington jobs, pronto.  If we, the people, continue to allow the Washington dummies to roost and propagate, then WE are the ultimate dumb guys.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR MUSLIM NEIGHBOR?

On Monday, September 22nd, several American Muslim community leaders condemned ISIS and its actions at the Dallas Council on American Islamic Relations. The Muslim representatives included members from both Sunni and Shia sects, clergy members, law professionals, and civic leaders.  If that leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling, it shouldn't. 

While "several" spoke out against I.S.I.S. and its violent associates, there are abut 7 million Muslims in the United States who haven't.  Every minute of every day, Muslims in this country are being told by radical Muslims in the Middle East that the Jihad is here and they need to get with the program.  Does THAT leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling? 

Frankly, I don't know how you can tell the difference between a radical Muslim and a peaceful Muslim by looking at them.  So, if they are silent about their position, what are we to assume?  Is your Muslim neighbor planning to poison your water supply, take down the Internet, blow up the power  grid, or plant an I.E.D. at the local mall?  How do you know what his intentions are? 

They are quick to call themselves "Muslim Americans," but if they put "Muslim" before "America," are they really Americans?

GETTING INTO BED WITH IRAN

Secretary of State John Kerry Has been diligently working toward getting the U.S. into bed with Iran over the I.S.I.S. terrorist problem.  Kerry pushed with all of his might to persuade Iran President Hassan Rouhani to meet with President Obama at the United Nations, but Rouhani was quick to announce that he had no intentions of meeting with Obama... period.  In the meanwhile, British Prime Minister David Cameron did arrange a meeting with Rouhani.  Evidently Rouhani prefers good tea to a beer in the Rose Garden.  

Why in the Sam Hell do we need to get into bed with Iran?  Those who get into bed with snakes are likely to get bitten.  This possibility creates noting but revulsion in my stomach and speaks volumes about our President.  Why Cameron wants to go there is beyond me, but he at least succeeded in upstaging Obama by a long shot; Obama has chirped relentlessly about his great idea of dialogue vs. bombs as a method for international relations, but it is Cameron who got the brass ring.   

Brass ring?  Circus?  Barack Hussein Obama?  Now, there's a crew that all seems to be in the same bed.  Well, once Obama gets bound and determined to do something stupid, he simply cannot be dissuaded.  Look for him to cave in on the Iranian nuclear program in exchange for their participation against I.S.I.S.

I haven't said much about these two "new" terrorist groups which pose an "imminent threat" to the U.S. and which were the cause for the Obama air campaign in Iraq and Syria.  I wanted to have as much of the truth out as possible before I started flapping off my gums.  

Khorasan and another Al-Qaeda offshoot were very close to launching an attack on the U.S. or Europe, according to Administration officials.  As I understand it, both groups hav been identified for some time and are therefore not "new."  I also have a problem with the vagueness of the report about an "imminent attack;" if that were to be the case, don't you think we'd know whether it was the U.S. or Europe that was in the cross-hairs?   There is quite a lot of difference between the two from a logistics standpoint, you know.  

Could it be that these "new" groups were only an excuse for the attacks into Syria? 

Think about it.  How were these terrorists going to get here... by boat or airplane?  Or are they already here?  If they are already here, how is our attack in Syria going to stop them?  They certainly wouldn't attack us by boat, so they would need access to airplanes.  Frankly, I smell a rat.  

My suspicions are further aroused by the chorus from Democrats, Administration officials and Peter King that we have to forget Obama's mistakes of the past and get totally behind him as we take on I.S.I.S. and other terrorist groups. Poof!  There goes Fast & Furious, Benghazi, the I.R.S. scandal and missing emails,  the V.A., the N.S.A.... everything just disappears!  

By the time the elections get here, Obama will have killed Bin Laden again, the two "new" terrorist groups will be defeated and I.S.I.S. will be hiding in caves.

BOMBING RUNS: MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING?

Why all of the ruckus about the air strikes in Iraq and Syria?  We had already been conducting targeted strikes against I.S.I.S. sites in Iraq for about two weeks.  But, I think most of us were questioning whether or not other countries in the Middle East would join us in any campaign, for many reasons.  When we ventured into Syria with bombing and missile attacks it was, to be perfectly honest, a real shocker to discover that other players in the neighborhood were joining us. 

Congratulations, Mr. President, I never thought you'd do even that.  

Yet, newscaster after newscaster and pundit after pundit were all asking the same question: Once you chase the terrorists into the cities and towns to hide behind women and children, what's going to be next?  How are you going to finish them off?  

Everyone, including the Administration, admits that there are going to have to be "boots on the ground" to go after the terrorists and that it will take up to a year to get the Iraqi and Syria-rebel forces trained up to the task.  How are we going to fill the gap?  Are the airstrikes going to be the end of it?  

Only time will tell, of course.  Perhaps they have developed some strategy that we are unaware of, but, I doubt that we're going to see French, Italian, Spanish, British or Australian boots on the ground.  Maybe, after the elections, we'll find out. 

In the meanwhile, it's back to the real war... against global warming.

WORRIED ABOUT NATIONAL SECURITY?

With all of the discussion lately about terrorism in various parts of the world, you might be just like most Americans are today: concerned about the security of yourself, your family and your country.  A known nutcase with PTSD made it over the White House fence and into the side door; as if that isn't bad enough, he's illegally been on the White House grounds before.  Three top Afghan military officers walk out of a training program at Cape Cod and disappear.  It takes us two days to find them, only we didn't find them; the Canadians got them at the Niagara Falls border crossing. Oh... just a week before, two other Afghans walked out of a training at Quantico and were eventually discovered in the Georgetown district of Washington, DC. 

In the meanwhile, our southern border remains wide open.  Russia is reestablishing a spy and security center in Cuba that was summarily shut down after the Cuban Missile Crisis.  Russian military aircraft are buzzing our shores with frequency.  The Obama Administration is getting ready to bring "displaced" Syrians to America.  The CDC can't keep a lock on some of the most dangerous germs and viruses in the world.  

While Obama is on the golf course or out campaigning, just who in the hell is minding the store? 

Maybe we should ask the Boy Scouts of America to step in and give us a hand.  We obviously need all of the help we can get, as Obama has pleaded to the United Nations.

STOPPING INTERNET FRAUD AND HACKING

In typical fashion, the Obama Administration is wringing its hands over the Internet problems and, in typical fashion, it even tried to give control of the Internet to the Russians on a silver platter so it could blame someone else.  

I contend that this is one instance where the U.S. needs to become an isolationist.  Let's isolate our Internet so that no foreign hackers can penetrate it.  In other words, we cut Internet access to anyone and everyone who is not physically within the U.S.  

"Oh my!" the naysayers roar.  "That will destroy international commerce.  People in the U.S. won't be able to email their cousins in Europe!" 

Hogwash.  All you have to do is to setup an Internet Exchange which can be joined by any business with overseas interests or any resident who wants to send emails overseas.  In order to join this exchange, you have to pay a fee, fully identify yourself, be supplied with changing pass-codes, have your computer outfitted with heightened security software, and fully identify your computer to the exchange.  By installing an internal code that is assigned by the exchange and changes every time you sign off, the exchange would be extremely difficult to penetrate and would form a firm barrier between the Internets of the U.S. and other countries. With changing codes, "spoofing" would become virtually impossible.  

Why haven't we made a move in this direction?  Do we suffer from the Syrian Rebel complex?

CONFRONTING EVIL

If you Google "evil," you will learn that it is a noun, "profound immorality, wickedness, and depravity, especially when regarded as a supernatural force."  Synonyms are: wicked, bad, wrong, immoral, sinful, foul, vile, dishonorable, corrupt, iniquitous, depraved, reprobate, villainous, nefarious, vicious, malicious,

malevolent, sinister, demonic, devilish, diabolical, fiendish, dark;

monstrous, shocking, despicable, atrocious, heinous, odious, contemptible, horrible, execrable;lowdown, dirty.  I have a few more: "Satanic and terrorist" come to mind.  

In essence, evil is the exact opposite of good.  Evil has existed since the beginning of time on this Earth; why it has not been eradicated by now, I do not know.  What I do know is that evil has flourished and metastasized wherever it has been ignored and not confronted.  Perhaps evil has to rear its ugly head now and then just to keep us on our toes and vigilant.   

We have been lulled into a false sense of security by this President and his cohorts in Congress, and now we are faced with evil in the Middle East.  But, evil exists in the halls of Congress as well, where lobbyists and campaign contributions trump the will of the people who rightfully control government.  Wherever good people fail to demand goodness, evil exists.  

 

We've made some poor choices in our exercise of democracy, and we've loosened the definition of "good" to the point that evil has gained a strong foothold in this country and our government.  In government, evil has become a culture... a way of conducting the everyday business of the people.  

That's why our southern borders are wide open.  That's why we have a national drug problem.  That's why our educational system has morphed into a socialist propaganda machine.  That's why our President lies to us and gets away with it.  

The only way to get rid of evil is to confront it, head on.  That is why it is so important for all of us to go to the polls in November and to rout out the evildoers from Washington.  Those of us who believe in good simply cannot afford to sit this one out.

OUR SOUTHERN BORDER: A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER

Law enforcement officials across our southern border are universal in their warnings: the wide-open border allows not only for the illegal immigration of Latin Americans, but also for the smuggling of drugs, illegal border activity by Mexican drug cartels and covert entry of terrorists into the United States.  Representative Trent Frank from Arizona says, "It is true that we know that ISIS is present in Ciudad Juárez or they were within the last few weeks.  So there's no question that they have designs on trying to come into Arizona."

Once here, any foreigner can travel anywhere undiscovered and with impunity; they don't ask you to identify yourself when you get on a bus.  Forged I.D.'s are a dime a dozen.  They're not going to go to a gun dealer and buy a gun, either; they bring what they need in that aspect with them.   And once here, those Middle Eastern types have hundreds of safe hiding places in Mosques throughout the country.  

Judicial Watch, a respected conservative media website, claims that "Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juárez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle borne improvised explosive devices," citing several anonymous "high-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources."  

While many Administration officials are quick to say there is "no credible evidence" to suggest that I.S.I.S. or any other terrorist group has ever crossed the southern border,  copies of the Quran and other evidence of Muslim activity in border areas has been discovered in the past.  And, of course, we have the recent arrest of several persons in Australia who intended to behead innocent citizens in the name of I.S.I.S.... and Australia doesn't let just anybody in.  

To shrug one's shoulders and ignore the danger along our southern border is a gross dereliction of duty on the part of our nation's President and those in the halls of Congress who blindly support his intransigent stance on national security protection of our borders.  They need to be removed from office, and November presents an ideal way to start.

SHAME ON AMERICA

While I.S.I.S. threatened to lop off some heads in Australia and has made no bones about wanting to do the same to Americans anywhere in the world, while their ultimate goal is the extinction of democracy and while they are raining terror upon the face of the Middle East, Americans are torn between sitting on their butts in front of the tube and watching it or getting off their butts and going to fight it.  

Our Congress is pussy-footing around the whole I.S.I.S. thing, afraid to call them terrorists, afraid to call it war and afraid to fully commit to the extinction of them and their causes.  We are content to trust the fate of the free world to "doctors, lawyers and pharmacists" and to the Iraqi army which has proven itself to be unreliable at best.  We leave our borders wide open, steadfastly refusing to provide even a physical barrier to an I.S.I.S.invasion on American soil.  Indeed, we are on the verge of bringing "displaced" Syrian Muslims here to live.  

I suppose, if you rationalize it, you could say that not all Syrian Muslims believe in killing Christians and Jews, but you know damned well that this government is not going to discriminate when it starts bringing them here. 

Our President is trying desperately to save the Democratic Party from oblivion in November and is therefore openly attempting to lull us all into a very false sense of security in order to play down the threat.  This attitude from the White House is a definite parallel to the Benghazi coverup before the 2012 election: hide the truth from the American public at all costs. 

And 35% to 45% of this country is buying into the President's program of complacency in the face of terrorism.  

Shame on us.  It's bad enough that we are running our country into economic chaos for decades to come; now, we even turn the backs of our nation on the stark threat of radical terrorism.

DEBBIE WAZERNAME SCHULTZ ON THE SKIDS?

POLITICO is reporting that top Democrats are losing confidence in Debbie Wasserman-Schultz as Party Leader.  The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee trivialized the plight of domestic violence victims Wednesday by comparing Republican right-to-work policies with wife-beating.  She has also recently criticized the White House on several occasions.  

Personally, I think they should keep her around as a constant reminder to the rest of the country as to how the Democrat Party thinks and acts.  She is the epitome of Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Michelle Obama and Maxine Waters all rolled up into one.  The Democrats should get rid of their jackass mascot and just use her instead.

IS IT GOING TO BE A WAR, OR JUST PUSSY-FOOTING AROUND?

They way it looks as a result of yesterday's Congressional hearings is that we're in for another damned-dumb war effort: run by politicians in Washington, with constraints upon  the military and no clear strategy to win.  They even admit that American boots will probably end up on the ground.  That means hundreds, if not thousands, of more casualties in war we will never win. 

Don't get me wrong. I understand that we are not going to effectively deal with the I.S.I.S. threat unless we confront them, and I'd much rather have it happen over there than here.   But, as I've said before many times, war is ugly.  If you have to fight one, you have to fight it with no holds barred, with every asset you have and with convincing determination to win and get out.  

We should be in and out of there in 90 days, leaving behind a non-existent I.S.I.S. and sending a clear message to the world that we mean business.  

They're talking about us being in there for a long time... maybe even a "generation."  I am diametrically opposed to this rerun of American-style, politically managed "war."  Given the direction they're headed in, I vote strongly that we stay the hell out.

AND WHAT ABOUT IRAN?

We've been so wrapped up with I.S.I.S. and its growing pure-evil lately that we just may be overlooking an even bigger danger... Iran.  

Most Americans don't realize that the influence of Iran extends far beyond its borders and into the entire region, including Syria and Iraq.  Almost no one in that region makes a move without at least running it by the Iranian government first.  That fact has a great deal to do with the reluctance of the regional countries to join the U.S. in a war against I.S.I.S.  Indeed, the way things are sizing up with I.S.I.S. using Syria as a safe haven, I think there is a strong probability that Iran is playing a support role to the terrorists.  

That having been said, what about the continuing progress of Iran toward nuclear weapons?  That factor has been downplayed in recent weeks and months, but the fact is that talks are again at a standstill; and they continue to get closer and closer to the reality of a nuclear weapon.  In fact, I think that the final construction of a nuclear bomb could be much closer than we think... perhaps even imminent. 

Obama has proven himself to be aversive to confrontation and totally inept in the nuances of leadership among nations.  If indeed his perceived weakness has severely decreased America's ability to rally support to deal with I.S.I.S., what level of support can we depend on if we have to deal with Iran?

ELONGATED SKULLS: PROOF OF ANCIENT ALIENS?

Let us digress from the politics of the day and talk about the possibility that aliens from another planet visited this planet centuries ago. 

We are aware that archaeologists discovered ancient skulls from Egypt that are elongated.  The explanation put forth is that the parents would wrap the skulls of infants under the belief that increased cranial capacity would cause increased intelligence.  I could buy that cultural explanation, but there's a problem with it: elongated skulls have been found in Peru, Russia and elsewhere.  How could the "wrapping" theory exist among so many diverse and logistically separated cultures? 

Some limited DNA testing has been done on Peruvian skulls and the initial conclusion is that the DNA consists of "no known DNA."  Granted, there could be a species of human beings from Earth which possessed a DNA previously undiscovered; I cannot rule out that possibility, but I have to again ask: "Why over such a diverse and logistically separated span of the Earth?"  Advanced DNA testing is in the works. 

One of the things that has always puzzled me is why, if we are all descendants from Adam and Eve as the Bible teaches us, why ere there browns, blacks and whites?  The logical conclusion is that browns, blacks and whites are descendants of different genetic beginnings.  Indeed, we know about four different DNA roots originating back to the beginning of human existence.  

Could it be that Earth was inhabited by four, five or more different alien civilizations at one time?  Or, could one alien civilization have created life on Earth in four or more DNA mixtures?  

Nothing I am posing here is in conflict with my fundamental belief in God, the Supreme Being, the Great Spirit.  What I AM posing is that, if ancient aliens ever did exist on this planet, did they leave behind evidence of their existence and are we now beginning to discover it? 

Perhaps, in the search for the answer to that question, we will discover where Obama really came from.
