I think we all know that there is a big, nasty story stewing out there someplace about what happened at Benghazi. To my knowledge, no one... not one person... has been held accountable for that massacre or for the lies and coverups that followed.
We no longer have the Obama Mob in charge of the country, able to thwart any serious investigation into the facts. But, the plain simple fact of the matter is that the families of those who died so bravely there deserve an answer. We, as Americans, have every right to an answer.
But, the glorious press and media, so intent on trying to sniff something dirty out between Trump and Russia, wouldn't even think of doing some serious, down-to-earth investigative reporting on the real story behind Benghazi, would they?

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in Kolbe vs. Hogan that weapons that are “most useful in military service" are not shielded by the Second Amendment. In other words, there is no substantive difference between the AR-15 , or any of the
other 44 types of firearms specifically banned by the Maryland Firearms Safety Act and the
military’s M16. That, of course, is utter nonsense. Any person with experience on the M16 or AR-15 knows the weapons are
similar; they are not, however, identical. Many differences exist
(especially depending on the model), but the primary difference is that
the M16 has fully automatic capabilities, whereas the AR-15 is only semi-automatic.
Following the Court's rationale, bayonets and knives would also be prohibited to be owned by Americans, because they are "most useful in military service."
The Court, in its ruling, totally obliterates the Second Amendment; all one has to do is to say that there is some connection between whatever weapon it is and military service, and the right to own it is not protected by the Second Amendment.
The case is undoubtedly now headed to the Supreme Court, which underscores the absolutely necessity for approving Neil Gorsuch to the bench as soon as possible.

I think that after eight years of crappy leadership under Obama and eight years of the constant division that president laid on this country we have become so used to fighting... we just can't stop ourselves.
I have to think that Americans... that is, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, whites, blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Christians, Jews, rich, poor... all Americans want certain things in this country. Among those things are: plentiful job opportunities with upward mobility in the work force and decent wages; secure borders to keep criminals and terrorists out of the country and to allow us to provide jobs to Americans first; a strong economy that will support good housing values and decent rates of return on our investments; quality education with equal access to everyone regardless of social position; a strong national defense to discourage attack and ensure world peace; a government that is responsive to the needs and wishes of the people; quality healthcare at reasonable costs; low crime rates; enforcement of the Bill of Rights; a sound energy policy and a host of other things.
When you stop and look at that list, ask yourself how many of those items on the list were successfully addressed and taken care of by either Bush or Obama.
We now have a president who appears to be trying very hard to turn things around and to address that list. He may have made a mistake or two, but I can't think of any single president in American history who hasn't. If we want perfection in our presidency, we should pray for Jesus Christ or God Himself to ascend from the heavens and take charge, but I suspect that a lot of people in the country would be scared to death were that to happen... lawyers, politicians and members of the press among them.
Do we want to put at risk the very substance of our American democracy by continuing to undermine a president who is determined to make things better, or do we want to find constructive ways to work together to make things happen? How can we possibly hold those in government responsible to us when we don't ourselves seem to be responsible citizens?

Remember that piece of artwork that was hanging on Capitol walls depicting cops as pigs? It was taken down, rehung by a Congressman, taken down again and rehung again by the same jerk. The Capitol Architect finally removed the picture, ruling it was offensive, not in good taste and violated Capitol rules.
That should have been the end of it, but the Congressman, William Lacy Clay from Missouri, says he doesn't give a damn if the picture is in good taste or not and he couldn't care less about Capitol rules; taking it down, he asserts, violates the artist's right to Freedom of Speech. So, he's suing in Federal Court.
Should he by any remote chance win, then I demand that MY Constitutional rights to free speech be recognized and that a huge Christian cross with a Holy Bible be placed next to it.

When you are a Social Security recipient who has been deemed to be unable to take care of your financial affairs, you may appoint a "representative payee" to receive the benefits for you. Of course, that payee must also have a Social Security number so they can track the money. But, a recent audit shows $1 billion was paid by mistake over the last 10 years to people who claimed to be representatives but provided no identification.
But, that's not all. At the current rate, $183 million in such benefits is now being paid out improperly per year. That's another 1.8 billion over the next 10 years! And... about $850 million has been paid out to people who are no longer representatives.
No wonder the Social Security system is bleeding. Had those erroneous payments not been made, do you suppose Social Security benefits to the people who are legally entitled to them might have increased in the last three years?
Somebody should go to jail over this.

I'll be the first to admit that I have been rather vocal about radical Islam and about the general silence of the American Muslim community on the subject. Nevertheless, I strongly object to the desecration of Muslim Temples, just as I object to the knocking over of Jewish cemetery tombstones and threats of torching Jewish Synagogues.
Hate in this country is boiling over. Whites spit on Native Americans. Those with autism or other disabilities are beaten and robbed. Whites shoot blacks and blacks shoot whites. Cops get killed every day... just because they're cops. Democrats threaten to assassinate our President and anybody with a Trump cap has become a target for all kinds of violence and verbal assault.
This mean and vile behavior on the part of Americans must stop.
You'd think we are on the brink of anarchy in this country. Behavior like this is downright scary. These people need to be arrested and put away for a very, very long time. And those in places of high power and authority in America need to get a grip on why these things are happening and find ways to stop them.
Quit talking about it and do something.

This is a battle for the soul of our country. It's war... us vs. them.
Trump wants a better national economy. Trump wants more people working in this country. Trump wants better education. Trump wants to stop dangerous predators from coming across our borders from anywhere. Trump wants a government that is responsible to the people. Trump wants a nation and a world that is safe and secure. Trump wants to fix the healthcare debacle.
The leftists obviously do not don't want these things. They have made it clear in no uncertain terms that they despise both Trump and his ideals.
They want a crappy economy where everyone is dependent on the government for handouts and where they don't have to bear any responsibility for governing themselves. They relish in high unemployment, dumbed-down education and they seem to enjoy being surrounded by illegal criminal aliens from Mexico and terrorists from the Middle East.
Trump got elected because we agree with his goals, not theirs. Now, they are doing everything possible to force us to comply with their despicable agendas.
This is a war... a war between two ideologies... what we want and what they demand. For the sake of the country, we'd better be in it to win it.

The Trumps made it obviously clear to the nation Saturday that they stand behind God... God and Country. Melania led the Florida rally off with The Lord's Prayer... a first in my memory. And she pledged her commitment to the women and children of America, regardless of what people say about her. What a classy beginning to a superb Trump event and Trump retort to the detractors so hell-bent on bringing him down.
The rally came one day after Trump let loose on dissident news media outlets during a White House Press Conference, an overdue harangue that resulted in a near meltdown among the liberal "journalists." Those sniveling reporters were quick to ask where Trump managed to scrape up 45 minutes for the Florida rally when he's got so much important business of the nation to manage. That's unmitigated gall, since they are the ones trying so hard to keep him from succeeding.
Trump was focused and on-point in his Saturday speech. While lambasting the media again, he also touched on virtually every important topic of the day and provided a recap of his immense progress during his first 30 days in office. The crowd took it all in and responded with enthusiastic applause and shouts of support.
Outside this arena of Americans united behind Trump's positive agenda, however...the dark crows of the left were hopping mad. Almost before the President and First Lady left the stage, the complaints were flowing across the wires and waves like howls from rabid dogs. Libs were on Twitter within seconds of Melania's recitation of the Lord's Prayer, complaining that she didn't know it from memory and that prayer had no business in government. Members of the press and media actively booed the President as the event went on.
But, those of us who watched and listened were enthralled at the positive energy emanating from the airport hangar... energy that will surely drown out the negativity embedded in the brainless zombies of the seditious and angry left.

Fed up with the "business as usual" Washington establishment, we Americans banded together and put Donald Trump in the White House. Not only did we want things to change and get better, we had high expectations that by giving both the White House and the Congress to the Republicans, they could get things moving in the right direction.
But, here we are 30 days down the road and it is obvious that things are not going as well as we hoped. For one thing, Trump is still trying to get his cabinet approved by the Senate; the Democrats are being obstinate and stalling and Mitch McConnell doesn't seem to have the wherewithal to bulldoze past them. As if that wasn't bad enough, the House doesn't seem to be able to get everybody on the same page so that essential and meaningful legislation can be passed and put on Trump's desk.
In other words, the first few weeks of this new presidency seem to portend another epic failure of the Republicans to respond proactively to the people who put them in charge.
They need to figure it out pretty damned fast, or they're going to be on the outside looking in come 2018 and our country is going to get flushed down the toilet.

Let me be clear... I'm not discussing Trump's intelligence; I'll leave that to Melania.
What I am saying here is that the babble floating around the media these last hours has been about the flap over whether or not Trump is receiving accurate and complete intel from the intelligence agencies and whether or not those agencies are trying to work against hm. My two cents on the subject is that the problems are not limited to the intelligence agencies; all government agencies are infested with self-serving political operatives out to make Trump look bad... and that includes both Houses of Congress and the entire Court system.
In short, in the minds of far too many federal government employees, they work for their political party and for themselves; they do not work for the incumbent president of either party or for the American people. In other words, serving the American public is not in their vocabulary. That's why Trump is having all of these selected "leaks"
to the press and media. It's also why things like the temporary ban on
immigration get rolled out incorrectly, why National Security Advisor's
get torpedoed and why enemies in Congress sabotage progress.
Those so-called "public servants" who are our employees manage to hang on to their positions due to Civil Service and various government employee union rules and agreements.
Maybe it's time we started doing to these "public servants" what Reagan did to the Air Traffic Controller's. Fire them.

Much has been said over the last 48-72 hours about that Russian spy ship just off the New England coast. The general consensus is that the ship is here to spy on the U.S. and to intimidate Trump. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The real reason that ship is here is so that Trump and his family can evacuate from the U.S. after the Democrats and left-wing radicals succeed in removing him from office. When that happens, of course, he will no longer have access to Air Force One, but he will still have a huuuge need to leave the country before Maxine Waters and Chuck Schumer can arrange to have him diverted to Salem and burned at the stake.
The plan is for Trump to be stuffed into the trunk of a Yellow Cab which will then drive up the ramp of a U-Haul Moving Truck and be spirited off to Dover, Delaware where Donald will join up with Melania and the rest of the Trump entourage who will all hop onto a speedboat provided by Chris Craft and then head out into the Atlantic to hook up with the Russian spy ship... where they will finally begin their escape to Leningrad.
All of this is classified as highly top secret, but I have a close friend with the Washington Post who knows a stool pigeon in the CIA and that's how I get my information.
Once in Leningrad, Trump plans to collaborate with Edward Snowden in writing a new book entitled, "LIFE IN THE REAL WORLD OF MODERN-DAY INTELLIGENCE."

Just as Trump's National Security Advisor, General Michael Flynn, exited "stage left," we discovered: a Russian spy ship just off the coast of Delaware; the deployment of Russian missiles banned under a 1987 treaty agreement; and aggressive Russian jet flights within 200 yards of one of our destroyers. In recent days, both North Korea and Iran have fired off test missiles in violation of international sanctions. And in a Happy Valentine's Day gesture of love and peace, North Korean's midget dictator, Kim Jung-un poisoned his half-brother.
If Trump didn't have his hands full before, he surely does now.
That's all troubling enough. What's even more unnerving is the rampant dissension rattling our perceived national stability and will; demonstrations, Democrat carping, calls for Trump's impeachment and blatant attempts to undermine Trump's agenda are all combining to provide our enemies the illusion that our country is disintegrating and vulnerable.
Certainly, we've all heard the time-proven adage, "United we stand, divided we fall."
In order to project strength and to display unity, this country needs to cut the bull and to get its act together before we're in a war we really don't want to fight.

The "news" is totally worthless. You have front page headlines about Flynn talking to a Russian, about Trump talking to the President of Taiwan, about the dress Ivanka wore, and a whole lot of other mindless nonsense, most of which has been proven to be fake news.
Why don't we hear about what is going on at the Fukushima Nuclear Plant and the extremely high radiation there or the effects it is having on our west coast? Why don't we hear about the latest Russian moves on the Ukraine? What's the latest on Greece's economy? What's the status on the Clinton investigations? Who's the new German president? What's going on in Peru?
The things that matter are not being reported and the things that don't matter ARE being reported. We can't believe a word we hear or see in print; the news media is giving us nothing but misinformation and disinformation.
Who needs them?

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission subpoenaed Tyson Foods last Monday, investigating allegations of colluding with other major chicken producers to drive up chicken prices starting as far back as 2008. Pilgrim's Pride and Sanderson Farms are two of the other companies. They are all vehemently denying the accusations.
In the "golden age of chicken" with beef and pork prices skyrocketing and health advocates steering consumers away from red meat, consumers have left
beef and pork behind in favor of leaner meat. Last year, consumers spent about $90 billion on chicken products, which
chicken consumption more than doubling in the past 40 years.
I don't know about you, but if they are guilty it's going to leave a fowl taste in MY mouth... play on words intended.

I think the temporary travel ban was the victim of a skillfully engineered plan set up by the Democrats, George Soros and the left-wing radicals. Here's my line of thinking:
1. Trump had promised Americans he would temporarily halt people coming to the U.S. from some Middle Eastern Muslim countries. Working off a list of problem countries supplied by the Obama administration, Trump selected seven countries for the initial ban. The ban was to be temporary, to allow U.S. authorities time to determine what exactly the risk of terrorist infiltration was from each country and what the best approaches would be to mitigate the threat, (extreme vetting, etc.).
2. Trump's White House staff wrote the Executive Order. I'm presuming some of those involved were holdovers from the Obama White House who either negligently or deliberately mis-worded the order to make it susceptible to embarrassing court interference.
3. Once the order was released, the Democrats jumped on it like wounded banshees and stirred up the media. Protesters responded almost immediately at airports around the country, as if pre-organized and ready to go.
4. Trump's E.O. was presented to Federal District Judge James Robart from Washington State. I believe the Judge had been pre-selected and was part of the scheme. Why else would they choose a Judge from Washington State when the E.O. was issued in the District of Columbia? The Judge not only agreed to hear the case, but also issued a stay order to prevent the ban from continuing in effect.
5. Using a Department of Justice lawyer and before Jess Sessions was confirmed as Attorney General, Trump's people appealed the ruling to a three-Judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals; the appeal had to go there because the ruling came from a Judge of a District Court situated within the boundaries of the 9th Judicial District. The argument presented by the Justice Department attorney, August Flentje, was at best weak. He didn't hammer the wording of the U.S. Code or the Constitution which give the President the power to control immigration. This made it easy for the Court to uphold Robart's rulings.
In short, I think the Trump administration was caught flat-footed on this one and never saw it coming.
I think that if I were Trump, I'd withdraw the E.O. and write a new one that is explicit and which cites the U.S. Code, and let it take its due course, if any. That could be done by Monday.

There is no doubt about the fact that we are a nation of laws, not of men. That's been said over and over again in the history of our country and, of course, we all know that if you have no laws... then you have anarchy.
Constitutionally, the role of the federal government is to protect its citizens and, accordingly, its borders. While a state has the right to determine who can live within its borders, the federal government has the right to determine who can cross our national borders and come into the country. So it naturally follows that if someone crosses our nation's borders illegally and without permission, the federal government has the right to chase them down and toss them out. The federal government also has the right to charge them with the crime of crossing our borders illegally and to penalize them for doing so.
It logically follows then that no state and no city has the right to stand in the way of that process by the federal government. Just like federal government officials, states and cities are bound by the requirement to uphold and defend our Constitution and to uphold and defend the laws of our nation.
That having been said, does the federal government have the right to deny funding to a city or state that is in violation of the law, i.e.: sanctuary city? I think that the legal grounds for such a decision are questionable, but even if not... the ethical issues are astounding. After all, by withholding funds who feels the pain? Is it the city officials, who continue to get their pay regardless; or is it the innocent citizens who receive declining government services and benefits?
From a civil law standpoint, the city officials can be charged by its citizens for misfeasance or malfeasance, fined and removed from office. Accordingly, I would think that the federal government can charge the city officials with violating federal law and/or with being complicit in helping others to violate the law.
In short, I agree that sanctuary cities and states are a violation of federal law and that cities and states must either comply or get the law changed. But to withhold funding is a bad idea; make the perpetrators pay the penalty, not the citizens.

A preacher was standing outside an Ashland, Oregon Planned Parenthood center sharing the gospel when a woman walked up and shoved a bloody maxi pad sanitary napkin in his face. “Go f*** yourself and eat this f***ing pad!” the woman is heard shouting in a YouTube video before heading down the sidewalk away from the scene.
How sick, ugly and disgusting can these maggots get? How much of this abhorrent, repulsive behavior will we tolerate?

Whenever I walk into a business that is in trouble and I present new ideas for how they process or merchandise their product, and the response is "We've always done it that way," I know instantly why the business is in trouble. Sticking with the old ways might be convenient, but good business managers know that their world is constantly changing and they are consistently seeking new and better ways to get things done.
You might call it "thinking out of the box."
Well, it seems to me that the major trouble in Washington is that they have become stodgy, set in their ways and obstinate when it comes to change. Past presidents have thrown up their hands in frustration and dismay while letting the "system" have its way.
But, now comes Trump.
Whenever Trump comes up with a new idea on how to get things accomplished, the instant cry of Democrats and Republicans alike is: "You can't do that! We don't do things that way!" When confronted with a huge agenda and a plethora of new ways to get things accomplished, government officials are digging in their heels and steadfastly resisting.
You and I know that Washington is in a bad state of disrepair. Many say it is broken and I can't disagree with them. We cannot continue to allow things to run the way they are. Either those in the plush offices of Washington must freshen up their approaches to things and get with the program, or they need to be removed.

Aside from the fact that rioters are destroying the physical infrastructure of our colleges and universities through their acts of violence and civil unrest, the left wing has hijacked our elementary, secondary and college curriculums and turned our public schools into left-wing propaganda indoctrination centers.
They have removed prayer and in many cases the Pledge of Allegiance while allowing the infusion of Islamic regimens, including teachings from the Quran, Muslim prayer sessions and the introduction of Sharia law. They have removed the teaching of civics and they have distorted the truth of our national history. While doing these things, they have "dumbed down" our students by failing to require academic achievement and tolerating excessive absenteeism.
In short, our educational systems have been turned into training centers for the destruction of America.
We cannot continue to allow these roots of progressive philosophy to to be implanted in our young people. Absolutely to teaching or indoctrination of political agendas can be tolerated.
We have to do something and we have to do it now.

When you look carefully at the rioters at U.C. Berkeley and N.Y.U., you can come to some useful conclusions: (1) Yes, some of them appeared to be professional rioters, (2) Most of the "students" appear to be shabbily dressed and may, in fact, be unemployed, and (3) the cops didn't do much to quell the riots and arrest the perpetrators. And here we are sitting on our hands like we were trained to do under eight years of political correctness demagoguery of the regime of Barack Hussein Obama.
Enough IS enough. Left unchecked, evil and treachery will surely grow and grow.
Professional rioters need to be incarcerated. They are nothing more, or less, than domestic terrorists, preying on the young and innocent. The cops need to arrest them, they need to be found guilty and they need to be thrown in jail for a very long time. The students need to have their welfare checks cut off, their student loans frozen and their access to campuses blocked until they come to understand what the real meaning of American freedom is.
The city officials and campus administrators who hold back the cops and allow the carnage to continue unabated are complicit. They need to be charged with malfeasance and misfeasance and made to pay their fair share of the damages incurred.
What we saw at Berkeley was anarchy in the streets. It needs to be stopped. I don't care if it takes tear gas, water hoses, shock grenades or bashing of heads... it needs to be stopped.

Almost as soon as ObamaCare was enacted, the Republicans started seemingly endless attempts to get it repealed. Americans wanted to know what the Republicans had in mind after such a repeal and were assured by Republicans that they had a new plan. Even as Trump was running on repeal of ObamaCare, the GOP was insisting that it "had a replacement plan."
Well, we're two weeks into Trump's presidency; where's that plan?
If they indeed did have such a plan, or several as some have claimed, why haven't they been at least floated? Or, are we seeing what we've been seeing in the Republican Party ever since Regan left office... all talk and no walk?
This sure as hell had better not be a sign of things to come.

They say University of California at Berkeley is the birthplace of free speech. Nothing could be further from the truth: Berkeley is nothing more than the birthplace of American riots.
Frankly, I'm sick and tired of seeing my hard-earned tax money being spent to support this type of conduct. It is literally like throwing your money into the fire... the fire of hatred and un-American activity.
Close the damned campus down. Let them get their education in Cuba.

It just dawned on me that this country is so fragmented and vitriolic that our sovereign future is being severely threatened. It also dawned on me that we didn't get that way until we started accepting immigrants without question and allowing them to tell us how to govern our nation.
The Mexicans, for example, demonstrated over and over again when we started talking about closing that border. And they've demanded social security benefits, healthcare, education, sanctuary cities and a whole host of other things, both for themselves and for their illegal friends. Muslims from other countries have committed numerous terrorist acts here and the Muslim community, while allowing it to happen, has also warned us against profiling.
In bringing in these people from other countries, our own country has tilted drastically to the left. We almost bear no resemblance at all to the nation we were back before the '70's.
I don't care where immigrants are from; I'm beginning to think we need to close the borders to everyone for a few years. Are we not being overwhelmed by our own generosity?

I now firmly believe that if Jesus Christ himself showed up on the face of the earth and joined the Republican Party, Chuck Schumer would personally stone Him to death.
Schumer and his cohorts have made it abundantly clear that they will oppose anything and everything coming out of the White House or the Republicans, no matter what it is or what merits it may have. Now, we don't mind proactive discussion and differences of opinion; that's what made our country great. But, those who subvert the workings of our government for their own selfish and belligerent reasons have no place here.
Americans will remember this in November of 2018 and it will be the end of the Rat Party.
