OBAMA FERMENTS ANARCHY
SPECIAL POST
Former presidents have historically shied away from opining on their successors... at least for the first year or so. Bush never said anything about Obama until the tail end of Obama's presidency. I don't even recall Clinton as having a whole lot to say about Bush 43, although he did tend to blame things on Bush 41.
But here we are, with Trump just having taken office and Barack Hussein is leading the charge to undermine Trump. "The president fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion," Obama's spokesman, Kevin Lewis, said in response to Trump's temporary ban of immigrants from some Middle Eastern Countries. "Citizens exercising their constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake."
Well, I take issue with the whole damned concept. Let's first examine the immigrants from the Middle East who Obama was allowing into the country: they were 95% Muslim and only like 2% Christian. Is that discriminatory or not? Secondly, there is no ban against Muslims in particular; the ban applies to people of all faiths. Third, there has obviously been a provision for those banned to appeal their denials to the courts or to wait for proper vetting; that's how those allowed to go ahead and come on in have achieved their success.
So, these statements out of the Hussein regime have no merit and therefore must be deemed to be for the purpose of stirring up dissent. And we all know what form "dissent" from the left ultimately means... in common parlance, it's referred to as rioting. I know that's not politically correct to say, but I don't give a damn; it's the truth.
Rioting is a state of lawlessness and disorder; a state of lawlessness and disorder is defined as anarchy. Obama is no longer president, thank God. However, he is proving that he is still an asshole.

WHY SHOULD U.S. GET ALONG WITH RUSSIA?
SPECIAL POST
Many of us still remember the Cold War and we're all aware of the fact that Putin and the KGB are some of the more despicable characters on the face of the earth. So, it is only natural that Americans of all stripes get their feathers ruffled when Trump talks about "getting along" with Putin.
When you study history, however, you understand the wisdom involved in Trump's move. Way back when, there was this nasty dude named Adolf Hitler who was engaged in the extermination of Jews and the conquest of the world. He managed to gain so much political and military power that he was virtually unstoppable. Had it not been for a harsh winter and a dumb move by the Nazi army, Russia may well have fallen to the Germans. And it was only after Russia and the United States joined forces with Britain against Germany that the tide turned.
During the unstoppable expansion of I.S.I.S. during the Obama regime, radical Islam permeated virtually every Middle Eastern Country and extended its reach into other parts of the world as well, such as Africa. Together with Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups, I.S.I.S. has become almost as tough to deal with as Hitler was. In many ways, they are even tougher, because they don't wear uniforms, they don't comply with the Geneva Convention and they don't fight conventional warfare.
I'm not sure that Russia or the U.S. alone can defeat I.S.I.S. But together... well, between the two of us, we have excellent intelligence resources, military know-how and hardware to do the job. Neither of us can afford the luxury of standing back and waiting to see what will happen next. We have to do something. So, working together makes sense.
That's not to see that we have to get all kissy-kissy over it. But, I agree with Trump that there are some things we can work on together.

TRUMP'S FIRST WEEK
After his first full week in office, there's one thing for certain about Trump's presidency: he's not inclined to sit on his rear and wait for things to happen. He's been such a whirlwind of proactive activity that even the Republicans have had to have a retreat in order to figure things out. As for the Dems, they're doing everything possible to break Trump's momentum and to sideline his enormous energy, and they're not being very successful.
In short, he's been like a buzz saw in a woodworking plant. I'd venture to guess that if anyone stands up with a "stop" sign in his hands, he's going to get his legs sawed off from underneath him. Any moment
now, Mexico's Pena Nieto is going to be jumping up and down while screaming, "No mas! No Mas!"
After watching the ineffectiveness of the Obama regime for the last eight years, it is indeed a welcome sight to see.
One other thing I've noticed about Trump: Unlike his predecessor, he's been in office a full week now, and he's not hit the golf links even once. Wow... I don't know about you, but I'm impressed.

WHAT ABOUT GITMO?
SPECIAL POST
Lost in the post-election shuffle has been the question of what we are going to do about the terrorist prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Although Barack Hussein did not succeed in closing down the facility, he did succeed in reducing the number of detainees to 41. The costs associated with running and maintaining such a facility for just 41 prisoners is horrendous, to say the least. On the other hand, the bad dudes locked up there deserve to never get out; in fact, they probably should have been shot before they made it to the prison walls.
Well, there are more candidates for imprisonment out there. Obama and his henchmen downplayed the fact that a large number of released detainees ended up actively back in the terrorist killing fields and those guys should be at the top of the list for recapture. There are plenty of new and fresh terrorists out there as well; some of them have even committed terrible acts right here in the U.S. Why not send anybody convicted of acts of terrorism here in the U.S. to serve his sentence at Gitmo? Come to think of it, didn't Madonna threaten to blow up the White House? Isn't that an act of terrorism?
We could also toss in any Mexican drug cartel members convicted of federal crimes while we're at it. Michael Moore, of course, would be an ideal candidate; he could send up sharing a cell with El Chapo.
The point being, it's there and it's despised as well as feared by most of our real enemies. Let's return it to good use.

RUSSIAN BOMBERS THREATEN JAPAN
SPECIAL POST
Two Russian TU-95 Bear bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons circled Japan Tuesday, causing Japan's defense jets to scramble and NORAD to elevate its defense posture. A third bomber acted as a communications liaison while three Russian refueling tankers (IL-78), and two airborne radar and communications planes known as Beriev A-50 AWACs were also part of the flying armada.
These are dangerous times for dangerous nations to be playing dangerous war games.

ABOUT THOSE PIPELINES
SPECIAL POST
I wasn't able to post yesterday due to being at the mercy of Mother Nature and the power company.
Trump wants to get the pipelines back on the table, mainly the XL and the DAPL. Basically, I'm in favor of both projects, but with a major caveat: you just can't go running the pipelines through people's backyards. I don't care if they are "Indians" or not; you just don't do those things. And this is the last guy on the face of the earth who wants to hear it even one more time... they are not "just Indians." They are Native American human beings. They have no more desire to have a pipeline running through their cemeteries than you do.
So yes, build these pipelines; we need the need the energy. But reroute them away from the sacred lands and water supplies of the Standing Rock Sioux and other tribes. I have a feeling that the only reason the pipelines are slated to go where they are is because the white folks didn't want the pipelines going through their cemeteries and towns, so they deliberately and with knowledge aforethought engineered them to go through Native American lands.

NO, THEY WERE NOT PROTESTS; THEY WERE RIOTS
SPECIAL POST
Our fantastic and most informative mainstream media would have you believe there were peaceful protests over the Inauguration weekend. Nothing could be farther from the truth. If breaking windows, burning cars and trampling on pedestrians sounds peaceful to you, you must be a lunatic.
Police arrested 217 people in Washington D.C., on Friday after Inauguration Day protests turned into a full-scale riot; at least six police officers were injured. There were similar violent demonstrations in San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, while more peaceful protests occurred in major cities across the country.
The wanton destruction of property and exhibition of civil disobedience may have been acceptable under the Obama administration, but these lawless actions stir up the fear in all of us.
We need to bring such actions to an abrupt stop. Peaceful protests are fine and acceptable; gang-like riots are definitely not.

THE TRANSFER OF POWER HAS OCCURRED, AND IT IS NOW OURS
So spoke the 45th President of the United States after taking the oath of office yesterday.
That the power of government of our great nation should have to be transferred to we, the people, tells us that we, the people who have had that power in our hands before, failed our country by allowing it to escape our grasps.
All of the dangers to our republic through which we now have passed bear testimony to the fact that we cannot ever allow again the power of government to pass back to those who would seek to be our masters. Our responsibility to this power is to serve it, to preserve it and to use it to benefit ourselves and the world... to preserve our way of life, our freedoms and our heritage for ourselves and our children.
We cannot again allow ourselves the delusional luxury of ignoring our duty to our country and our power, that of being constantly informed about the issues of the day and exercising due diligence in directing their outcomes.
Let us now take the torch, lay down our differences and bring our country together. For the first time in decades... our future is truly ours to share.

PACK UP AND GET OUT
For over two months Democrats and their rabid associates have been foaming at the mouth over Donald Trump and the fact that the country is sick and tired of the ways in which they have been running the country and the individual states. We're to blame for their mistakes and they expect us to capitulate, cave in and allow a criminal... Hillary Clinton... to become the president. They want the Constitution destroyed and they demand retribution.
They've done everything in the world they could do to destroy Donald Trump before he assumes office except to put up a cross and nail him to it.
Enough is enough.
Either shut up, or pack up and get out. We're finally fed up with the bullshit.

UP YOURS, HONKY!
SPECIAL POST
There's been a rumble floating around among some Democrats and reiterated by CNN's Symone Sanders, to the effect that this is no longer the time for any white leadership in the party. FOX's Tucker Carlson, himself a Democrat, had Jehmu Greene on his show Monday night; she's seeking to be the new Chair of the Democrat National Committee.
The interview was contentious to say the least. She has just referred to the November elections as the "alleged election," and opined that Hillary would have won if it hadn't been for the Russians. Carlson asked Greene if she agreed with Sanders and, after evading the question a several times, Greene finally conceded that Sanders' comments were not appropriate "at this time." In other words, she was in a box and had to temporarily relent; she probably went out into the hall after the segment and proclaimed, "F--- whites!"
Don't tell me that Obama made race relations better in this country.

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS PRODUCTIVE COMPROMISE?
SPECIAL POST
Anyone in his right mind would have forecast that the disenchanted left would have laid down their intense anger by now and turned their attention to how to make the best of the situation in which they now find themselves. After all, if they expect to have a voice in the future of the country and how that future might affect them personally, they need to find some accommodation with the November victors; continuing to be a thorn in the side of the Trump administration will inevitably bring about the prospect of their being shut out of the process completely.
Every hour of every day that goes by which is burdened by this continual rancor serves only to lead one to the conclusion that they must be left out; therefore, they will soon become totally irrelevant.. totally on the outside looking in.
What good will that position do them?
By seeking to come to the table and become part of the dialogue, they can at least hope to bargain for some type of acceptable compromise. By standing defiantly in the way, they eliminate that chance. The only result of an "It's my way and only my way" attitude will be to isolate themselves away from those in charge. It's all relative to the adage: "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem."
The majority of Americans are already beginning to look upon these people as obstructionists. You and I know that if we need to get someplace and there's a roadblock, you get rid of the roadblock.
If I don't like the way things are, I'm going to jump in and see what I can do to change them. I'll be damned if I'll stay at home screaming my lungs out and banging holes in the wall.

AND SO IT BEGINS...
SPECIAL POST
The week we've all been waiting for begins today. We're counting... every minute of every hour of every day until Noon, EST January 20, 2017.
It's like we've been under the thumb of arrogant, condescending oppression for eight long years. There's not been a word spoken by our "president" that has not sparked racism, division, hatred and/or international belittlement. Our military is in disgraceful tatters with outdated and failing equipment, it's morale in the dumps. Blacks and whites who used to be friends are now on opposite sides of the law in this country, and respect for the laws of our country has been shattered. Indeed, our "president's" flagrant disregard for our constitution and for Congress has been treasonous, to be polite about it.
He's fostered division and hatred between not only blacks and whites, but Christians and Muslims, cops and blacks, straights and gays... virtually every segment of our society has been fractured by this "man." He's presided over the virtual and total destruction of peace in the Middle East and has been directly responsible for the slaughter of tens of thousand of lives... most of them being Christians.
He has never told the truth about anything. He and his operatives have stonewalled on Fast & Furious, Benghazi, I.R.S. abuses, illegal Associated Press wire-tapping, the workings of ObamaCare, N.S.A. spying, the Iran nuclear "deal," the G.S.A., the V.A., Solyndra and the Clinton EMail server.
But today... finally we get to the day when we can see the light at the end of the very dark tunnel.
Let us rejoice.

THE IMMINENT CULTURE SHOCK
January 20, 2017... A day that will live in infamy. Like Pearl Harbor was in 1942, January 20, 2017 will be a shock to America unlike no other in modern history.
Unlike December 7, 1942, this day in infamy will be the best day Americans have seen in decades. It will be the end of one of the darkest chapters in American democracy. Moreover, it will be the beginning of turning around years of Washington neglect going all of the way back to Ronald Reagan and perhaps before.
When the dust settles on this coming period, the radical left-wing is surely going to wonder what in the hell hit them. The Republican and the Democrat progressive "establishment" is going to be suffocating under leadership that not only knows what in the world is going on, but which also knows how to deal with it.
Hang on. Enjoy the ride.

ACOSTA, CNN DESERVE TO BE BOOTED
SPECIAL POST
If I were Donald Trump, I'd boot both CNN and reporter Jim Acosta from all White House news briefings for at least six months.
During Trump's recent press conference, Trump took issue with CNN's "fake news" about his being involved with the Russians and about one wrong Michael Cohen fingered for being a go-between. Acosta, who had already asked one question in the conference, cut loose like a bulldog in heat, interrupting Trump and repeatedly, rudely demanding the right to ask another question; Trump refused, telling Acosta he was being rude, but Acosta persisted. Press Secretary Sean Spicer later told Acosta that if he ever pulled that stunt again, he'd be thrown out. Spicer went on at least one television show complaining about the treatment.
Although Spicer has since called for a "truce," neither he nor CNN has apologized for the egregious behavior.
It's time they showed some semblance of decorum in respect to the president during press briefings. If they're going to act like assholes, they need to be treated accordingly. Freedom of the press does not mean freedom to be rude and arrogant.

TRIUMP VS. MEDIA: IT'S LONG OVERDUE
SPECIAL POST
Donald Trump squarely took on the media yesterday during his press conference. In particular, he pointed the finger at CNN for its outrageously false story about one of his attorneys, Michael Cohen, in which CNN alleged that Cohen he had visited the Prague and that he was a key link between Russia and Trump's campaign. According to CNN, the information about the Trump campaign’s relationship with Russia was based on “memos compiled by a former British intelligence operative” who did research on Trump for Democrats and Republicans during the presidential race.
Cohen insisted that he had never been to Czechoslovakia; his passport verified that contention and it turns out that the facts were regarding a different Michael Cohen. Trump excoriated CNN for publishing false news and refused to take any questions from them. It also was made evident that the rude behavior of some media and press representatives will not be tolerated in future Trump press conferences.
We Americans want to know the plain, unfiltered, unspun truth about what is going on in the country. We are sick and tired of being misled with untrue and manufactured news, especially when it comes from so-called "journalists" who are actually nothing more than political hacks with often sinister agendas.
It's about time someone in authority in this country stood up to them and put them in their damned places.

HOLLYWOOD CAN GO TO HELL
SPECIAL POST
Most of my life, I've looked up to authority figures and entertainers as being role models for America. But, what I've seen coming out of Hollywood these last few months has me burning hot mad. The movie industry has been sewing the seeds of political hatred throughout the land; they acting like totalitarian tyrants in every way imaginable.
Everyone has a right to free speech in this country, but that right crosses every line of propriety when it starts to incite violence and civil disobedience.
The only message these despicable "beings" will ever understand is when we quit buying their movies.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.

LIBERALS DO 180, BACK TRUMP
SPECIAL POST
Shortly after Vice President Joe Biden admonished Senate Democrats to lay down their resistance and "Get over it" because Trump had won the presidency, a new voice was heard rising from the din of liberalism: disgusted Democrats started to lay off of their dissent and to say that Trump needs to be given a chance to prove himself.
Michael Moore was heard confiding to a friend, "Perhaps I've been too tough on the guy." Even President Obama muttered to George Stephanopoulis that Trump seemed to be "doing all of the right things that I intended to do." Harry Reid, writing an Op-Ed in the Searchlight, Nevada DAILY TIMES, opined that "The country is turning in a new direction and getting back to the basics of democracy; I'm starting to change my opinion of Trump."
And that, my friends, is what real fake news is all about.

GUNS AND AIRPORTS
SPECIAL POST
Once more we have a horrific shooting and once more we have to ask ourselves how it might have been prevented or mitigated. The initial reaction I heard late Friday and into Saturday was along the lines of how we just have to prevent people... take more action against potential shooters... by making it tougher to get guns into airports.
Wow, have they ever gone blind and completely missed the point.
Schools were chosen because there was an absolute no guns allowed policy at schools; the same with some nightclubs and countless other places where mass shooting have taken place. This gunman knew, beyond any doubt in my mind, that when he arrived at Ft. Lauderdale he would already be inside the terminal and have access to a gun when nobody else did.
You've two choices, my friends: (1) hire a million more armed cops to patrol places where guns are not allowed, or (2) reduce the number of places where guns are not allowed so that law-abiding citizens authorized to carry concealed weapons can be there to take down a shooter.
Those same people who travel from place to place to shoot in sporting events or competition or who want to have their weapon with them when they arrive where they are going, should and do have a safe way in which to transport their weapons by plane. They have to call ahead to the air carrier and obtain instructions as to how that carrier will accept guns for transport; generally, it involves locking the trigger mechanism, taking out all bullets in the gun and in the magazine, removing the magazine from the gun, separating the bullets physically from the gun and placing the locked gun, magazine and bullets into a locked hard case, which is then shipped in the baggage compartment totally away from the owner. I do believe that at both ends of the transport the owner should be required to provide identification and that an instantaneous background check should be completed.
If someone in that terminal baggage area had had a legally carried gun on them, they may have been able to take down the shooter and saved some lives. And if the shooter had known that people might be carrying guns on them, the odds are he would not have chosen that time and that place to commit his ugly attack.

ABOUT THOSE INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES
There's been a lot of flap lately about the nation's intelligence agencies and about why Trump essentially doesn't trust them. The controversy started when the Democrats suggested that the only reason Trump won the election was that the Russians interfered with our election process; they cited hacking of the DNC and Clinton Campaign computers as a prime example.
Trump justifiably asked what evidence there was available to support the claim and which intelligence agencies agreed with the assessment. Several announced they agreed and several said they did not. Obama then got on the muscle and the first thing we all knew was that all intelligence agencies were in agreement, although the word "attempted" was now being interjected into the vocabulary. The Democrats kept saying "the Russians hacked" and "the Russians influenced." When the agencies ended up before a Congressional Committee hearing, it was finally agreed by the agencies that "an attempt" had been made, but that there was absolutely no evidence to support any conclusion that any activity by the Russians actually had any effect on the outcome of the election.
So, what I am proposing here is that the agencies had obviously been bullied into making political conclusions as opposed to providing hard facts.
Obama himself has often chastised various intelligence agencies for giving him misleading or incorrect information; nevertheless, when it suits his purposes Obama comes out and swears by the information he gets from intelligence. Once again, the evidence is that the intelligence agencies have lost their ability to report independently and accurately on the information they obtain; indeed, there is evidence to support the contention that absolutely nothing gets reported to Congress or the public by the agencies until it has first been cleared, and perhaps spun, by the White House.
Any president has to rely on information provided to him by intelligence agencies in the formation of policy and the undertaking of actions involving foreign and domestic affairs. If he has to constantly ask whether or not the information he receives is tainted by political motives, then the information becomes essentially useless.
So, Trump has every reason to question what he hears from these agencies. One of his very first tasks must be to bring the agencies back into compliance with their actual missions, while at the same time gaining their trust that they will not be thrown under the bus for political reasons similar to what Obama has been doing to them for eight long years.
Trust and confidence between intelligence agencies and the Commander-in-Chief must be expeditiously and thoroughly rebuilt.

THE AUDACITY OF B.S.
SPECIAL POST
In his final rites as Dictator in Chief, Barack Hussein Obama ordered Defense Secretary Ash Carter to award him the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service so he can put it on the mantle with his Nobel Peace Prize.
Only 14 more days of this audacious bullshit to go...

AND MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA
SPECIAL POST
I don't want to be blunt, but sometime you have to.
To all of those who are still upset that Trump is going to be inaugurated as our next president: Get over it and quit making asses out of yourselves. This is America, for God's sake... not Nazi Germany.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.

ETHICS 101
SPECIAL POST
The damned Republicans still don't get it.
One of the major things we Americans are sick and tired of in Washington is a profound lack of morality and ethical behavior and the associated corruption that comes with it. It is that disgust on our part which led to the movement that created a Trump win in 2016... a movement they obviously have still not come to grips with.
Their bone-headed refusal to accept the wishes of the American populace... to hear our hues and cries and to abide by our wishes... caused them to make an absolute blunder during the very first few seconds of the 115th Congress: they decided to neuter the independent Congressional Ethics Committee.
Now, if that doesn't send a clear message to us that they intend to go on with their corrupt, irresponsible ways on The Hill, what does?
They'd damned well better come to a quick and complete understanding of what we meant to do in November or they're going to end up on the outside looking in come November of 2018.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.

THE PREDICTION GAME
SPECIAL POST
Every year at this time, I pause to reflect on last year's resolutions and try to outdo myself in predicting what will happen next year.
Here's what I predicted for 2016:
1. Obama will get caught spying on Donald Trump.
2. Hillary will not be the Democratic nominee for president.
3. 80% of those running for reelection to Congress will lose their seats.
4. Miley Cyrus will not join a convent.
5. Tom Brady will get caught over-inflating footballs.
6. Nancy Pelosi will try, one more time, to find a cosmetologist willing to give her a face lift.
7. Joe Biden will say something absolutely stupid.
8. The Chicago White Sox will not win the World Series.
9. Michael Moore will keep his mouth shut.
10. A wave of UFO sightings will occur around the world, several of which will land at Disney World trying to find our president.
I still can't believe I blew Number 8.
Now for 2017:
1. Obama and Clinton will both switch political parties.
2. Trump will make a Tweet.
3. Nobody from Hollywood will move to Canada.
4. Jill Stein will file a lawsuit against Melania Trump.
5. Kim Jong-un will get his legs stretched.
6. Donald Duck will divorce Daisy and marry Mickey Mouse.
7. Someone will get murdered in Chicago.
8. Megyn Kelly will get booted from FOX NEWS and replaced by Roseanne Barr.
9. California will go to pot.
10. Barack Obama will admit his Hawaiian birth certificate is a fake.
How can I go wrong?
That's MY AMERICAN PREDICTION, respectfully submitted.
