Much of the following information comes from the September issue of NEWSMAX MAGAZINE:
- The Promise ~ The CBO said only 3 million people would lose their employer paid insurance; the CBO now says 6 million for sure, maybe as high as 20 million will lose their employer-paid insurance.
- The Promise ~ The President said your costs would go down under ObamaCare; Americans are now discovering skyrocketing costs, huge deductibles and less coverage.
- The Promise ~ Only 23 million people would be left uninsured; the CBO has raised that estimate to 30 million or more.
- The Promise ~ The CBO said the annual budget deficit would decrease by $137 after ObamaCare kicked in, thru 2019; analysts now predict the deficit will actually increase by $60 billion or more for the same period.
- The Promise ~ $500 billion would have to be trimmed from Medicare payouts through 2019 make the program work; that figure is now increased to $716 billion, which means that senior citizens who are ow retired and paid into Social Security all of their lives are not going to get the benefits they were promised.
- The Promise ~ Employer Mandate Penalties paid by employers would total $52 billion; the figure is revised to $106 billion, and those costs will be passed on to the consumer or result in more layoffs.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
