Well, I guess I was wrong about Sebelius showing up for the Congressional Hearings yesterday.  As you know, I had predicted she wouldn't show.  But, she didn't disappoint me.  

In classic Hillary Clinton style, ("What difference at this point does it make?"), Sebelius responded to questions about whether or not Obama knew of the ObamaCare problems with a curt, "Whatever."  That's what my ex-wife used to say to me whenever I caught her in a lie: "Whatever." 

She had the audacity to insist that she was not going to release any numbers about signups because the information was "unreliable."  Obama, on the other had, said later in the day that the latest numbers show enrollments are up.  Where does HE get HIS information?  

Oh, yeah... Whatever.

MILITARY OUTRAGE

Those of us who have served in the United States military in any branch hold dear in our hearts the belief that our service has been conducted with honor and dignity to our country.  In return, we expect Americans to recognize and accept the sacrifices we have made with equal honor and dignity.  

We have been told of numerous incidents where deceased veterans were placed in incorrect or unidentified graves and of where body parts were thrown into an incinerator because they could not be identified.  We understand those atrocities have been corrected.  But we now learn of an outright sham on the part of the Pentagon.  

Remember those TV shots of flag-draped coffins being unloaded from cargo planes that have just landed from the battlefield?  Would it bother you to learn that the bodies were often returned several days prior to that scene, and that the planes they were being unloaded from probably couldn't even fly?  

Well, the Department of Defense has admitted to the sham.  

The admission has blind-sided many veterans and families of MIAs, led to believe they were witnessing the first return of heroic American soldiers killed in war. An investigation also uncovered that some of the remains of soldiers had been in military custody for months before being used during ceremonies.  

We can't even trust our government to give proper attention to our military personnel who die for their country?  Even that is a big fat lie?

WAR DECLARED AGAINST TEA PARTIES

The far-left liberals and the Democrats in Washington declared war on the Tea Parties after the 2010 elections put the Republicans back in the majority at the House of Representatives.  Now the "old guard" hierarchy at the GOP has declared its own war against the Tea Parties, basically accusing them of corrupting the hearts and minds of young, upcoming Republicans like Ted Cruz.  In the "old guard" minds, the new guys on the hill are out-of-control brats who threaten to return the power of government to the people.

OUR UGLY AMERICA

Once the bastion of power and democracy in the world, the shine on America's ship of state is now tarnished and our reputation, both at home and abroad, is sinking at a precipitous rate.  Our nation's capitol is teeming with graft, corruption, malfeasance, misfeasance and a total lack of regard for the will of the American people.  Our schools and our military have become focal points for the indoctrination of anti-American propaganda and sentiment.  Our once-strong moral fiber and religious foundations are becoming defunct.  Our economy is in shambles.  

We have a President whose word cannot be trusted; he draws red lines and then disowns them.  Regardless of his first pounding about North Korea, Iran and nuclear weapons, he has yet to do anything about it.  We had to rely on the intervention of Vladimir Putin to extract ourselves from a growing Syrian debacle.  No enemy nation now considers us to be strong and resolute; even our allies have started to draw their shades whenever we come calling.  We tell Israel, our closest ally in the Middle East that is severely concerned about the nuclear threat of Iran, to sit down and shut up, just like we tell those who don't adhere to the Obama doctrine to sit down and shut up. 

We spy on our allies, on our citizens, on our "free" press, on our religions and on our patriots.  We label Christians and Tea Party members as domestic terrorists and members of the Ku Klux Klan.   We call our children "property of the state."  We enact unpopular laws and tell the public to bend over and spread its collective cheeks.  

At a time when our enemies are building up their military hardware and troop strength, we are dismantling ours.  Our President is geared toward unilaterally reducing the number of our nuclear warheads to 1,000, the lowest level since 1954.  The effects of Sequester are now being felt as we cut troop strength by over a third and shut down orders of new hardware and technology.  

We have become a nation divided into two camps: (1) those who love our country and its history and cry at what we are becoming and (2) those who do not understand the coming consequences or who simply do not care.  

The truth, when all added up, is truly scary, isn't it?

OBAMA AND LIBYA

It's bad enough that the Obama Administration went into Libya without Congressional approval; it's worse that the Benghazi Massacre occurred and Obama and his cohorts are stonewalling anything and everything to do with it.  We question why he hasn't gone into Libya and rounded up those responsible, but their answer is that Libya is still a hotbed of anti-American sentiment and terrorism.  Nevertheless, we did go into Libya to capture some of those responsible for the terrorist attack on that shopping center in Kenya. 

Here's a new twist.  Given that Libya remains a hotbed of terrorism and anti-American sentiment, why would the Obama Administration be considering allowing Libyans to come to the U.S. and train to fly our airplanes and to gain education in nuclear science?  “The Department of Homeland Security is amending its regulations by rescinding the regulatory provisions promulgated in 1983 that terminated the non-immigrant status and barred granting certain immigration benefits to Libyan nationals and foreign nationals acting on behalf Libyan entities who are engaging in or seeking to obtain studies or training in aviation maintenance, flight operations or nuclear related fields,” according to a draft internal memo.  

WTF is going on here?

GUN CONTROL LOONIES GO AROUND THE BEND

This news has finally made it to the forefront.  Last summer, police in Washington, D.C. swooped down upon the house of Mark Witaschek, slammed his bathroom door open and dragged his naked 16-year-old son from the shower, and pointed their guns at Wiytaschek and his girlfriend.   For two hours, they ransacked the place and then arrested him for being in possession of "unregistered ammunition."  Prosecutors have vowed to prosecute him to the 'fullest extent of the law."  

What horde of firepower did he have?  

• “One live round of 12-gauge shotgun ammunition” — actually an inoperable shell that misfired during a hunt years earlier, that Witaschek kept as a souvenir.
• “One handgun holster” — perfectly legal.
• “One expended round of .270 caliber ammunition” — a spent brass casing.
• One box of Knight brass for reloading. Except they aren’t for reloading — they’re for antique-replica, single-shot, muzzle-loading rifles.  

It was the second time his house was invaded.  A month earlier, they raided his house and found a box of .40 caliber ammo, (20 rounds), a gun cleaning kit and an antique Civil-War era Colt that he kept on his desk.  Antique guns are legal in D.C., but they seized the weapon anyway.  

Violent crime is three times higher in D.C. than anywhere else.  Don't the cops have anything better to do?

SEBELIUS FLIPS OFF CONGRESS

Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, always the most affable and dapper of the Obama Administration, has been ducking testimony before the House regarding the floundering rollout of ObamaCare for several weeks.  They finally nailed her down to testify today, but the lovely lady on short notice announced she had a "scheduling conflict," and then promptly lined up a plane to fly her to Phoenix to visit one of her call centers.  Where I come from, that amounts to what you call a "flip off" of the big finger to Congress.  

Should we have expected less?  After all, the Obama Administration stonewalls everything these days.  Eric Holder refuses to testify and tell the truth about Fast & Furious and even gets Executive Privilege to get out of it.  The White House refuses to come clean on the Benghazi Massacre.  The D.O.J. got away with illegally surveilling the Associated Press and James Rosen; Obama simply ordered Holder to "investigate" it.  The N.S.A. is escaping unscathed from intrusive and illegal scrutiny of American Emails, phone calls and text messages.  The I.R.S., which has also totally violated the law, seems to be skating along as well; Lerner took full retirement, Sarah Hall Ingram got a promotion and a raise out of it; and the White House has secreted its logs showing the 300+ meetings between White House officials and I.R.S. top dogs and what the meetings were about.  

So, why should Sibelius be any different?  

The latest word coming yesterday was that she agrees to testify next Wednesday.  I'm betting a free lesson on how to navigate the ObamaCare website that she doesn't.    

After all: They work for Obama; they don't have to answer to anybody.

NEVADA SHOOTING: WHAT WENT WRONG?

I need to weigh in on that shooting at Sparks Middle School near Reno, Nevada, by a 12-year-old seventh grade student.  He used a semi-automatic Ruger 9mm handgun, allegedly taken from his home. 

My first question is: How did he get the gun?  When you buy a gun, you assume many responsibilities, one of which is to keep the gun secure from children and the curious.  Several states require you to have your guns under lock and key while in your house, which largely defeats the self-defense purpose.  The point is, why wasn't the gun and/or ammo in a gun safe or secured in other manners  

So, my second question is: Are the boy's parents guilty of contributory negligence?  While they are indispensable in matters of self-defense, guns are dangerous weapons, especially in the hands of the young or inexperienced.  Law enforcement officers and others who have guns in their homes teach their children early on not to touch the guns and they keep them secure.  I also wonder why the parents did not recognize symptoms of mental problems with their son and seek treatment.  

Those of us who are responsible gun owners are all just as concerned as everyone else about these events.  The facts consistently point to the lack of safety on the part of parents, a failure in the background check system or negligence in recognizing signs of mental instability or emotional problems.  I live alone and keep my trusty Glock 23 by my bedside and my Kahr PM40 at my desk.  If I have company, I hide them.  If there are children in the house, I unload them and lock them and no one knows where they are or that I even have them. 

That's practicing gun safety.  Anyone who does less is negligent and, in my opinion, liable if something goes wrong.

PRESIDENT'S EXPLANATION INADEQUATE

The President spoke from the Rose Garden yesterday, pleading with Americans to stand by his signature health care plan affectionately known as "ObamaCare."  He asserted for the umpteenth time that the plan is needed in order to provide Americans who have no insurance with a way to get it, and insisted that the ObamaCare website would shortly be fixed.  In the meantime, he recommended that applicants apply by phone or by obtaining and filling out paper applications.  

Let me say from the outset: the failure of the ObamaCare website to operate functionally is only a small symptom of a much larger and systemic problem that is costing us untold millions of dollars every day; it cost a record $500 million to build and that is a lot of money to pay for something that doesn't run.  It'll cost untold millions of dollars more to fix, but President Obama and Kathleen Sibelius seem anxious to spend it.  

Let me ask a basic question: If insurance companies sell health insurance in every state, why do we have these millions of people who do not have insurance and for which ObamaCare is designed to help?  Speaking reasonably, it's either because they don't want it or they can't afford it.  The ObamaCare program simply doesn't resolve either issue.  FORBES suggests that the real reason the website is not functioning is that the government doesn't want people to discover how much ObamaCare is going to cost them.  From what I have observed, that is a very valid fear.  

I can't fathom why this government hired a Canadian firm that got kicked out of its contract to build Canada's Health System computer platform and website due to non-performance.  That, in and of itself, is frankly "piss poor" planning.  That, in turn, is indicative that the whole damned program is poorly planned.  The fact that they are hiring ACORN employees and others without any background checks whatsoever to be "Navigators" to help people sign up, and who thereby gain access to confidential health and financial information,  points to sheer ineptness that emanates from the very top echelon. 

Let's face it: Obama and the Democrats didn't want any input from the Republicans, from medical professionals, from insurance companies or from anyone else on their "prized" program.  We cannot and should not expect this thing to work; it would be a total miracle if it did.  

Since these problems are systemic within the Obama Administration and within D.H.H.S., any assurances from the President that the whole mess will be fixed within a matter of days is pure poppycock.  They really need to stop in their tracks, draw a deep breath and go back to the drawing board with planners, technicians and programmers who know what the hell they're doing.  

For us to accept less is our own failure to demand responsible solutions and results from our own employees.

DID MCCONNELL "SELL OUT" GOP?

THE BLAZE is reporting that Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, faced with a tough reelection battle in Kentucky, may have accepted a $2 billion project for his state in return for caving in to end the government shutdown. 

Let's face it; Washington is corrupt.  They are as corrupt as the Roman government was before it toppled.  You know it and I know it.  They are out of touch with the American people, acting like runaway demagogues.  Yes, I'm painting with a broad brush and I admit it.  To be fair, there are a few honest and fair people in Washington, but you and I know they are definitely in the minority. 


Americans sense it; that's why Congress has such low approval ratings.  We keep saying we have to throw the bums out at election time, but election time comes and incumbents manage to outspend and out-lie their opponents and to win reelection.  It takes citizens who are paying attention to the facts in Washington, alert to spin, lies and manipulation, to reverse this trend.  

That is why I write these blogs, hoping that someone will listen and start to ask questions and to pay attention to what is happening in the country.  If just one person a day will do that, and urge others to do the same, we stand a better-than-even chance of changing things in the next election.  Let's work together to separate the wheat from the chaff and to remove the chaff from political power.

SPOILED WHITE HOUSE BRAT TELLS US TO "SHUT UP"

Having a bad cold leaves one with no choice but to take to the covers and try to fend it off, while listening over and over again to the despotic rhetoric of the day, "All of us need to stop focusing on the lobbyists, and the bloggers, and the talking heads on radio, and the professional activists who profit from conflict, and focus on what the majority of Americans sent us here to do." 

Wow.  I guess this means I'm the proverbial outcast, the black sheep of the family.  I should go to the corner of the room, sit down, shut up and never be heard from again. Well, I'm sorry Mr President, because I'm an American and I love my country.  I am not one who is going to roll over and play dead while you and your proteges trash my religion, my guns, my education, my upbringing, my values and everything else that I believe in.  

You may have gotten away with it in your upbringing, but I didn't in mine; I learned early on that I cannot have my way every day.  I am not the only person in the family or the only person on the face of the earth that matters.  While I am a deeply religious Christian, there is nothing in any of my bones that tells me I am the Messiah, the Anointed One, any more than you are.  

When others express their opinions, I listen.  I truly listen and evaluate; I even often change my own opinion and accept theirs.  That's a trait that makes a good leader.  Being the biggest bully on the schoolyard does not make for good leadership.  Forcing people into doing what you want only proves that you intend to turn others into puppets. 

I fully understand you have forced the mainstream media to abide by your dictates.  But, Americans have the right, whether you believe it or not, to hear the other side of the story and to decide for themselves where they should stand on any important issue of the day.  You have no right to dictate that.  

As an American, I intend to keep on writing, opining and putting out the facts as I know and see them to be.  You can continue to throw your tantrums and act like a spoiled brat, but this time I am going to have MY way.  

Get used to it.

WE HAVE ONLY JUST BEGUN

I'm just as upset as everyone else.  I'm angry at every one of those stinkin' idiots in Congress who can't seem to see things for what they really are and who lack the moral and ethical character to do what is right for the country.  

But, there is something new this time around.  More and more Americans are discovering what a dearth of leadership we have in Washington.  Now is not the time to mope and grouse about the dysfunctional, bumbling meat-heads we elected.   You know the old saying, "When the going gets tough, the tough get going."  

I'm an American.  I'll be damned if I'm going to shut up and lie down.  I'm just getting started.  I'm going to squawk and make noise and keep on looking for Americans to join the cause.  That's why I write these blogs.  I care deeply for my country.

WHATA BUNCH OF IDIOTS

As I write this post, the Senate is just beginning to vote on this great "new deal."  At this point, everyone presumes it will pass both the Senate and the House, but maybe I'll awaken in the morning surprised.  

They've succeeded in repeating history in two ways.  They kicked the can down the road again and they made it clear to taxpayers that they do not give one iota about what we think, want or expect. 

All of this theater, all of this rhetoric and this painful government shutdown is for naught.  Nothing has changed.  It's status quo, meaning: "up yours, Americans," in Washington lingo.  

I certainly hope you remember this day, October 16, 2013... when you head for the polls next year.  I know for a fact that I am sick and tired of everyone damned one of them, whether they're white, black, blue or red.  This is no Congress; it doesn't even qualify as being a circus.

ACORN INVOLVED IN OBAMACARE!!!

Ever since ACORN declared bankruptcy and "disappeared" from the scene following election fraud charges in many states, I have been reporting here that they simply changed their name and reinvented themselves.  You will recall that ACORN was represented by Attorney Barack Hussein Obama prior to his entry into politics and during his community organizing years.  ACORN employees were signing up voters for the 2008 elections, while the organization received political donations from the Obama campaign in return for various "electrical work" during his campaign events. 

Now, it surfaces that former ACORN staffers and United Labor Unions Council Local 100, a New Orleans-based nonprofit, announced last month they would take part in a multi-state "navigator" drive to help people enroll in President Obama's health care plan. The labor council was established by ACORN founder Wade Rathke after his larger group was broken up amid scandal in 2009 and banned from receiving taxpayer funds. 

The putrid smell emanating from the Obama Gestapo just never ends, does it?

WHERE DO YOU STAND?

The Progressives and the left-wing liberals not only want you to sit down and shut up, they want you to relinquish your ideals and values and they are prepared to do so by force if necessary.  I say Progressives and left-wing liberals because, Progressives have infiltrated the Republican Party just as they have seized control of and decimated the Democratic Party.   They have made it clear: they have no regard for our history, our Constitution or our values. 

The hierarchy of the Democratic Party, (Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al), will crucify any party member who does not do as they command.  They rule by intimidation and oppression.  The leadership of the Republican Party, Graham, McConnell, Boehner and McCain, are becoming just as bad; they have collectively tried to destroy Cruz, Lee, and Paul, just as they did to Cain and are gearing up to do to Ben Carson. 

Once thing is certain; divided we fall.  We have to stand together in order to have any chance to save our country from this pernicious attack upon every facet of the foundation of our country.  And what has occurred with this latest round of Washington warfare is the country is awakening to the fact that the we, the people, are losing our voices in our government.  The country is beginning to understand that we are letting true freedom slip through our fingers and we're gearing up to do something about it.  

We're certainly going to need every able-bodied American to stand up and come to the aid of their country.  What I'm asking you to do now is to give some thought to what I have said here, what is going on around you in your country, and whether or not you are going to end up turning your back on our country or working together with us to save it.

AMERICANS ARE WAKING UP

The chief benefit of the budget impasse and government shutdown is that Americans now have their attention turned to what is actually going on in Washington.  They are finally able to see through the fog of smoke, mirrors and lies that have been spewing forth from our government and repeated by our press.  The endless harangue against those who would change things if they could is being seen for what it really is.  

I was beginning to think the day would never come.  But, it's here and the Obamas, Pelosis and Reids of the world are scrambling like hell, trying to regain their footing in the quagmire of their own deceit.  These people have grown our government so large, they have propagated so many onerous rues and regulations... we are no longer the land of the free.  

The rumblings of alarm and concern are now growing.  Americans are understanding that they have been victimized.  The seeds of discontent are beginning to ferment and bloom. 

Let there be light!

THEY ARE FINALLY TALKING?

What happened to Obama's insistence that no talks take place until and unless the Republican House totally takes everything off the table?  Then supposedly, Obama could reopen the government.  What happened to that "no negotiation" stance? 

Could it be that enough Americans are upset with the Obama camp that Obama and his goons are finally feeling the wrath?  Could it be that the offers the Republicans have made toward resolution of the matter are finally resonating with a public that is beginning to understand the real Democrat agenda?  Could it be that even Harry Reid had to recognize that there was an upswell of anti-establishment sentiment?  

Whatever it is, they're now talking.  The venomous rhetoric of the Democrats has at least temporarily halted.  Hallelujah.  Praise the Lord.  Watch out for the language of any deal finally reached.  

I've spoken with enough people in northern California that I can say, without hesitation, this had damned well better be the last of it.  No more kicking the can down the road.  No more "short-term" fixes.  Fix the goddam budget overruns and outlandish spending; resolve the ObamaCare issue.  Otherwise, any "deal"is going to be viewed as more horseshit.  There will be an uprising of people who have finally had enough.  It won't be pretty.

AMERICANS ARE NOT IN THE MOOD

We've all got our bones worn down to the marrow over the continuing crap coming out of the White House and Senate.  The dastardly, bastardly dirty deeds emanating from the Obama scum, particularly with respect to American veterans, has irked nearly everyone in the country.  The use of the IRS, NSA, DOJ and EPA to try and force American compliance with the Obama dogma is beyond unconstitutional.  The constant brinkmanship has been dangerous to say the least.  

The Republicans, to their credit, have put forth numerous proposals to try and resolve the stalemate.  Obama, seeing these offers as a sign of weakness, has decided to hunker down and let the nation go to hell.  He's been hollering that the House is willing to shut down the total government over the debt ceiling.  The House yesterday offered to raise the debt ceiling on a six-week "let's keep talking" basis; Obama flatly refused to discuss the offer unless the Republicans cave in on the current budget impasse and reopen the government without conditions.  Isn't it ironic that it's Obama who has the government shut down and it's ONLY the Republicans who are trying to resolve it? 

Americans have watched the Republican House time and time again as it has consistently always caved in.  They've been frustrated to see the can kicked down the road again, again and again.  Not even Boris Karloff, Alfred Hitchcock and Steven King all wrapped up together could create such a nightmare. 

OBAMA, REID, PELOSI: We're all damned sick and tired of the bullshit.  Come to the table or resign.

Mr. President, you seem to take great joy wagging your mean stick and warning the country that horrible results will occur unless you get your way.  You don't hesitate to give us a big smile when you threaten that V.A. benefits, retirement pay, social security and medicare payment will stop unless you get your debt ceiling increase and the shutdown ends.  Yet, we both know that even if we are still at an impasse on October 17th, there is sufficient monthly income to the treasury to pay the interest on the national debt, meet the needs of national defense, and pay for the veterans and retiree benefits.  

That's a fact you refuse to acknowledge when you try to bully and scare the nation into meeting your dictatorial demands. 

Given your track record for despicable actions regarding the closing of the National Mall to American veterans while you open it for illegal immigrants, given your shameful and ugly refusal to pay for the burials of returning military personnel who gave their lives so you and Michelle can sit in the lap of luxury and enjoy your 29 chefs, and given your total disregard for the burdens your crappy ObamaCare are bringing to bear on our citizens, we should realistically expect that you are lowdown enough to keep your promises on your scare tactics.  

But, you need to be forewarned: you might quit paying the vets and the retirees, but when the dust settles your rear ends are very likely going to be back in Kenya where they belong.  

Cut the crap and start acting like a President instead of a whiny two-year-old kid or the big bully on the school yard.  We Americans have quite had enough of you and your cohorts.

OBAMA'S REPUGNANT, SHAMEFLESS IMPUDENCE

As the government shutdown continues, Presidential despot Barack Obama piles on restrictions and closures designed to offend even the most stalwart of citizens.  The latest move, right on the heels of the shutdown of the Amber Alert system yesterday, denies the payment of burial benefits to families of military personnel killed in action.  In the meanwhile, the White House has ordered new china and the National Guard in Utah is the proud new owner of a mechanical bull delivered at taxpayer expense.  

A Pennsylvania man who went jogging at Valley Forge National Historic Park tells FoxNews.com he was hit with a $100 fine because the area was technically closed.  

The Administration is just getting warmed up.  They are warning that unless the issue of the debt ceiling is resolved immediately, social security and veteran's checks will NOT be issued in November.  In an act of criminal negligence, the Administration cut off meat and poultry inspections, directly leading to an outbreak of salmonella. 

One should expect that his next move will be to back up the sewers at the House of Representatives and to release rotten egg gas at the next game of the Washington Redskins.

WHAT'S REALLY WRONG WITH OBAMACARE?

Much of the following information comes from the September issue of NEWSMAX MAGAZINE:

• The Promise ~ The CBO said only 3 million people would lose their employer paid insurance; the CBO now says 6 million for sure, maybe as high as 20 million will lose their employer-paid insurance.

• The Promise ~ The President said your costs would go down under ObamaCare; Americans are now discovering skyrocketing costs, huge deductibles and less coverage.  

• The Promise ~ Only 23 million people would be left uninsured; the CBO has raised that estimate to 30 million or more. 

• The Promise ~ The CBO said the annual budget deficit would decrease by $137 after ObamaCare kicked in, thru 2019; analysts now predict the deficit will actually increase by $60 billion or more for the same period.

• The Promise ~ $500 billion would have to be trimmed from Medicare payouts through 2019 make the program work; that figure is now increased to $716 billion, which means that senior citizens who are ow retired and paid into Social Security all of their lives are not going to get the benefits they were promised. 

• The Promise ~ Employer Mandate Penalties paid by employers would total $52 billion; the figure is revised to $106 billion, and those costs will be passed on to the consumer or result in more layoffs. 

There are more, but these are  few of the really important ones. And our President tells us we will abide by ObamaCare, like it or not.

   Six grenade launchers
   Dozens of assault rifles
   Enough ammunition to outfit a small army
   Military caps and equipment
   Vehicles
   Cell phones
   Police-style bullet proof vests
   60 grenades
   Numerous handguns with loaded clips
   Hundreds of rifles and loaded magazines
   All types of weapons including Afghan - Russian - Chinese 
       and many others
   Arabic inscriptions on many weapons 

There has been no mention of this in the press or media.  

Why does Obama refuse to seal off the border?

CHARLATANS

When an Indian Tribe runs out of grant money, they have to lay off people.  When a new grant comes along, people are rehired, but they don't get paid for the time they were off.  When businesses have to lay off because sales are down or manufacturing materials haven't arrived, the employees don't get paid for the time they were off.  But the President intends to pay everyone who was laid off or furloughed, whether they worked through it or not. 

The President complains because the parks are closed.  When the House passes a bill to fund the Parks, the Senate refuses to act on it.  While the House comes up with different alternatives, the President says flatly that he will not negotiate. 

When the public complains they don't like ObamaCare, the President says that's the Republicans' fault.  Who wrote the damned law, anyway? 

Reid and Obama claim the Tea Parties have hijacked the House.  All of the sudden, Americans don't have the right to tell their elected Representatives what to do but Obama, one person, can tell the Senate what to do? 

Enough is enough.  We need to throw these charlatan bastards out and we shouldn't reopen government until they agree to leave peacefully.

REPUBLICAN SPLIT?

Word emanating out of the left-wing media manure patch is that there is a split among Republicans with some wanting to cave in to the Democrats and stop the showdown.  

Anybody and everybody in the Republican Party knows full-well what risk and sacrifice the House Members have made to this point, and they understand that if they defect now... their political careers are over.

800,000 "NONESSENTIAL" GOVERNMENT WORKERS

To me and Noah Webster, "nonessential" means unneeded.  Over 800,000 employees deemed "nonessential" by Obama & Company have been furloughed during the government shutdown.  I have to ask: If they are nonessential, what are they doing on the payroll in the first place? 

The average government worker earns $80,000 a year.  Can you believe that?  That's $69 billion a year we're paying for government employees who are not needed.  Plus benefits, office space, electricity, equipment, bonuses and government-provided Kleenex and toilet tissue.  

No wonder they're all ticked off at Republicans and Tea Party members!

DEMOCRATS HAVE IT DEAD WRONG

The House has it right.  How can the Democrats possibly justify their complete refusal to delay ObamaCare until glitches can be resolved?  As it stands, everyone in the country is getting a pass on this except you and me in the Middle Class; we don't get a pass, we get the shaft. 

Congress has even voted itself a big fat subsidy without conditions to pay for the premiums; we get the shaft.  

This is not a Republican House problem; it's a Democrat problem coming from the party that used to be for the working stiff. 

We must remember this at election time.

You can wait until the end of December to sign up without being fined.  If you believe as I do that ObamaCare is the worst piece of legislation to ever be passed in this country, protest by waiting until the last possible moment to sign up.
