SPECIAL POST
The Chattanooga Times Free Press greeted President Obama's speech about jobs yesterday with a rather verbose editorial telling Obama to take his jobs plan and shove it. “Forgive us if you are not greeted with the same level of Southern
hospitality that our area usually bestows on its distinguished guests,”
the paper’s editorial board warned.
The editors blasted the president’s job plan as being nothing more than
“a ridiculous government spending spree” combined with a “punitive tax
increase on job creators.” They pointed out that even “regular folks with a basic
understanding of math,” not just top economists, understand that these
are “the most damaging policies imaginable” for the country at this
point in time. “So excuse us, Mr. President, for our lack of enthusiasm for your new
jobs program. Here in Chattanooga we’re still reeling from your old
one,” the newspaper concluded.
I would presume the IRS has already notified the newspaper that they are going to be audited. Undoubtedly, the Justice Department is tapping the newspaper phones and data lines and who knows what the NSA is up to? The only voice Obama enjoys hearing is his own and he has a tendency to go off the deep end when anybody, anybody in the press or media dares to challenge him, especially when they hit the nail on the head.

CLINTONS TAKE ON THE WIENERS
SPECIAL POST
Inevitable comparisons between the Anthony Wiener sex scandals and the White House sex scandals under the Clinton regime have been making their rounds on the Internet and late-night comedy shows. Evidently, enough is enough, and the Clintons have opened fire on the Wieners, demanding that he withdraw from the New York mayor's race and leave the Democrat Party.
There is, as yet, no word on whether or not the Hatfields and McCoys are involved.

ILLEGALS: BAD ARGUMENTS
SPECIAL POST
The argument is that the illegals have been here for too long to send back, that it's not their children's fault and that we need them to fill jobs Americans don't want. Using any single one or all of these excuses, I defy anyone to justify to me we why have to keep illegals here. It's all bogus, pure liberal, progressive anti-American hogwash.
The argument that you can't send them back can be used to justify dropping charges against a 90-year-old rapist who raped and killed 50 women 50 years ago; it's too late to send him to prison? Shouldn't we have dropped all charges against Nazis who slaughtered the Jews? They only did it because they were ordered to, you know.
So, their parents got here illegally and then had them as "anchor babies." Now, you can't send the parents home and keep the kids here, can you? I mean, that's dividing families, right? No mention of sending the kids back to Mexico with the parents? Never thought of that possibility?
Keeping them here to fill jobs no one else wants is as asinine an excuse as I've ever heard. It's way beyond absurd. Why, our Justice Department is releasing thousands of criminals onto the streets who haven't finished their terms; where are they going to work? Or, are we expecting them to enter back into the criminal enterprises that got them into jail in the first place?
Supposing an illegal comes here and rapes a woman and she has his child. You wouldn't want to send him back to Mexico after he gets out of jail, would you? I mean, he has a child living here. Come on, Americans, just because Obama thinks you're dumb as a post doesn't mean you have to act like it!

UNCONTROLLED ARROGANCE
If there's one word which can be used to describe this Administration, it is "arrogant."
Most of us in this country were taught respect at an early age. These thugs, and that is all they really are, (regardless of their fancy suits, slick verbiage and professed interest in doing what is right), have no respect for anything other than their own, distorted views of the country and the world. They don't give a damn about our Constitution, our history, our morals, our religions, our rights, our privacy, or even our lives. They openly laugh at a contempt of Congress citation, refuse to respond to subpoenas, deny access to witnesses and continue to lie, even under oath.
Our two other branches of government seem to be impotent when it comes to this horrific, arrogant power grab. The Court turned its back on the country in the ObamaCare ruling. The Congress seems to be content in continuing to call people to the Hill to respond to usually meaningless questions with equally meaningless answers. There is no sense of national emergency over these endless and growing violations of our laws by those in charge in Washington.
It's almost as if there is a conspiracy among them to find a way to destroy the country while making us think everything is just ducky. What's worse is that the country seems content to sit back and let it happen. Sometimes, I think we all need to see a proctologist.

DEMOCRATIC BIGOT PROPOSES STUPID LAW
SPECIAL POST
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee has the ideal solution to the George Zimmerman matter: she's introducing a bill to require that any and all community patrols and neighborhood watch organizations must register with police. And, I respond, would that have changed anything in Sanford, Florida? Hell no.
Kids get killed by a gun toting crazy nut and the thought process is, let's get rid of large magazines. What in God's name does one thing have to do with the other? People like Lee need to have their lips stitched shut so they'll quit running around the nation letting their mouths overload their assholes.

AMERICA'S GREAT MEDICAL SYSTEM ON THE DYING VINE
SPECIAL POST
Believe it or not, there are those of us still alive who remember when doctors did house calls; you went to the same doctor for most of your life and he knew everything in the world about you, your family and your physical state of being. Those were, by and large, the days before healthcare insurance, when people took care of themselves and were really sick or in discomfort before they went to the doctor's office; nobody went to the emergency room unless they arrived by ambulance.
The finest, the greatest medical system in the world is in bad need of emergency care of its own. I believe it all started when employers started to offer group health insurance as a method of attracting and retaining quality employees. From then on, the whole ball game changed. Healthcare was no longer an out-of-pocket expense and emergency room visits came into vogue; you just weren't a member of American society unless you'd been to the E.R. lately. Surely, E.R.'s were designed to be just that, and you were supposed to take care of your colds and warts during the weekdays with your doctor. But, your doctor wasn't necessarily your doctor anymore, unless he belonged to your plan and the net cost to you was no difference.
The cost of insurance inevitably started to rise. Around that time, doctors started to invest in pharmaceutical companies, pharmaceutical companies started to invest in hospitals, hospitals started to invest in insurance companies... everybody started to invest in everybody and the incentives for cost control disappeared. Circling the pools like sharks, attorneys decided they wanted a slice of the pie for themselves and they started to sue the arms and legs off of any medical provider who could walk or talk. Profits for doctors started to dwindle; all of the money involved in the primary medical care industry had left the doctor's office and headed out the door.
The result is easy to foresee: fewer students taking up the practice of medicine, doctors retiring early or leaving the profession, and a dwindling presence of qualified doctors pushing those remaining into unsustainable workloads. By 2025, just 12 years down the road, there will be a critical shortage of 130,000 physicians according to the American Association of Medical Colleges. In the biggest irony of the century, our good doctors are leaving the country to practice someplace else, when it used to be the other way around.
Now enter ObamaCare. The era of socialized medicine is going to bring its own pressures and frustrations to the system. Don't try to tell me it is not socialized medicine; anytime all doctors get paid the same for a procedure, anytime all citizens have to participate, anytime the government controls the quality of your healthcare and decides whether or not you get it at all... you have socialized medicine.
We need Congress to show some leadership on the issue. We need Congress to work together to not only throw ObamaCare out, but to solve the not-so-complex issues that put upward pressure on the cost of medical care. We cannot fix a broken system by installing another broken system. And we cannot afford to wait until 2014 to get started on the project.

NSA DECLARES "WAR" ON AMERICANS
SPECIAL POST
The National Security Agency was slated to hold an emergency special "Top Secret" meeting yesterday with House Representatives to try and head off an Amendment that would rein in the agency's ability to gather private information about American citizens and others living here legally or illegally. Those who attended the Tuesday meeting are prohibited from talking about what they learned at the meeting or, presumably, even the fact that such a meeting took place.
The measure, which would be attached to the Pentagon’s spending bill, “ends authority for the blanket collection of records under the Patriot Act” and “bars the NSA and other agencies from using Section 215 of the Patriot Act to collect records, including telephone call records, that pertain to persons who are not subject to an investigation under Section 215.” The position of the agency, ever since day one of this scandal's emergence, appears to be that they are entitled to know anything and everything about anyone and everyone, whether suspect or not.
A secret intelligence court has interpreted the law to allow the NSA to collect hundreds of millions of records on every American phone call under the theory that such records "might" be useful in "future terrorism investigations."
This is an outrageous, totally unconstitutional abuse of power and invasion of privacy. Every single one of us needs to get engaged in understanding the implications of this and the other scandals and in stopping their effects on our government. We are headed straight for an internal conflict the likes of which has never before existed in the history of the world.

POPE IS CORRECT: WE HAVE A LABOR CRISIS
SPECIAL POST
Pope Francis says that we risk losing a generation of young people because they cannot find jobs. "We risk having a generation that hasn't held a job. Personal dignity comes from working, from earning your bread. Young people are in a crisis."
It's tough for a college grad these days to find a job doing anything, and almost impossible to find a job that employs his educational skills. Nevertheless, the Obama Administration insists that the job market has virtually recovered. The percentage of people working at part-time jobs in the country is higher than at any time in previous U.S. history. With the advent of ObamaCare, full-time jobs are becoming much more difficult to find and land.
The government cannot create jobs, only business can create jobs. If everyone in the country worked for the government, who would pay the taxes required to support the labor force? What the Pope seems to be pointing out to me is that the public sector of the world needs to once again, somehow, have business conditions favorable toward business growth and the resulting hiring. As long as we have THIS President in office, however, that condition will never happen.

WHERE IS THE REAL VOICE OF AMERICAN JUSTICE?
SPECIAL POST
Why isn't there an investigation into the withholding of evidence from the defense team by the Florida Special Prosecutor? Why isn't someone asking if the charges against Zimmerman weren't trumped up? Why were the Police Chief and District Attorney fired for not filing charges?
Isn't this really about black racism against non-blacks?
Is there a journalist out there anywhere in this country who will get these answers?
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.

DEMOCRATS: SMEAR, SMEAR, SMEAR
The Democrats have no credentials of their own upon which to run for any public office. Their method of operation is to get union support and to smear the opposition.
Look at what they did to Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, ad infinitum. Like barracudas, they've jumped on Liz Cheney and her announcement that she's running for the U.S. Senate from Wyoming. Have you noticed they failed to discuss issues and stuck to mud-slinging?
This nation can't get anywhere until we stop this nonsense. Yelling and screaming your way into power only proves that you don't have the brains of a jackass.

ANOTHER BENGHAZI MASSACRE
SPECIAL POST
First, it was September 11, 2012 when our Ambassador to Libya and three brave defenders got butchered in Benghazi. Since then, as we all know, there has been a concerted cover-up on the part of the Administration. Now, in what appears to be a "Second Benghazi Massacre," Congressman Frank Wolf is saying that all witnesses who were there and who might shed light on what came down have been threatened, bullied and coerced into signing "non-disclosure" statements. It is obvious that the White House intends to shut down the investigation, just like giving Holder Executive Privilege did with the Fast and Furious outrage.
It's way past time to start playing hardball. Rep. Wolf has proposed House Resolution 36, a measure that would establish a Select Committee to investigate the Benghazi attacks. The next thing they have to do is to offer a guarantee that any witness who comes forth to testify will not be punished. The next thing they need to do is to start a Select Committee to determine whether or not the President's actions in the Benghazi Massacre and Fast and Furious amount to an impeachable offense... obstruction of justice.

THE TELEPHONE CALL FROM HELL
SPECIAL POST
It came on the land-line in the middle of yesterday afternoon. Caller I.D. indicated it was from Washington, D.C. My initial reaction was that it could not be a political ad... I've got most of those robocall sources blocked. On the other hand, it could be from my Congressman since he just called yesterday and asked me to join his telephone town hall meeting last night. So, I answered it.
Well, it was an automated message; it didn't give me a chance to respond other than to "Press 1" to sign the petition. What petition? This is where things get ugly. The voice rushed and urged me to respond right now, before it's too late. "Press 1." You see, it implored, we simply have to get guns outlawed. President Obama has made this his top priority and he is "really angry... I mean really angry... I mean boiling red hot..." that George Zimmerman got his gun back.
Holy shit, man.
Now, I know that this call must have been made to everybody, regardless of political persuasion and regardless of whether or not they are on the do not call list. I'm a registered Libertarian, a lifelong member of the NRA, and I'm on the do not call list. If you didn't get your call, don't sweat it; just let me know and I'll drop a note to Barack and the Red Hots.
We really need to get this jackass out of the White House before he totally destroys what remains of this country.

ENOUGH WITH THE DAMNED RACIAL STUFF!
SPECIAL POST
Just because the President is Black, that does not give every black in the country the right to do as he pleases. Just because the President throws a tantrum whenever he loses, that does not give blacks the right to riot in the streets when they don't get their way. Just because the President keeps playing the "race card" does not mean that he's right.
You had a Police Chief and a District Attorney refuse to prosecute George Zimmerman for murder in the Trayvon Martin killing. The blacks got both of them fired. You had a President throw his weight into the case, causing the Governor of Florida to name a special prosecutor who went to far as to withhold evidence from the Defense in an effort to get Zimmerman found guilty and who fired her employee who spilled the beans. You had a filing of criminal charges against Zimmerman and you had a jury finding that Zimmerman was not guilty. Blacks immediately claimed the jury was racist. Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson vowed to set things straight. Eric Holder said he was going to get rid of "Stand-Your-Ground" laws in this country. There was talk about filing Civil Rights charges against Zimmerman, but the F.B.I. came out and said they had investigated that aspect and there was no evidence to support such charges. There's talk of Federal murder charges against Zimmerman.
I'm surprised Obama or Holder didn't fire the F.B.I.
I've had enough with this damned racial stuff. Blacks and liberals must quit fanning the flames of racism or revert back to the days of full-fledged segregation, because that's the only place where they'll end up by continuously playing the President's race card.

SCOUTS BAR OVERWEIGHTS
SPECIAL POST
Scouts with a BMI, (Body Mass Index), greater than 40 have been disinvited from the annual Jamboree. Scouts with BMIs between 32 and 39.9 had to provide additional health information to take on the 1,000-plus acre Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia. The Boy Scouts of America’s new fitness standards are so rigorous they would not just exclude chubby tenderfoots — they would even bar many NFL players.
Within a few weeks of announcing that gay boys will be welcome in the ranks of Scouting, the organization has said "no" to fat kids. As a former Boy Scout who was overweight through no fault of my own, and as a "straight" former adult leader who has relinquished his rewards due to the gay ruling, I now add: "Piss on the current leadership of the Boy Scouts of America."

JUSTICE, RACE AND POLITICS DON'T MIX
SPECIAL POST
Well, I think I can say with reasonable certainty that I have yet to see any true justice in politics. Justice, by definition, implies fairness and honesty, two dead opposites of politics, (at least in this country). If you're going to have true justice, you have to keep the politics out of it.
And so it was that Charles Zimmerman, not known as a racial bigot or a prejudiced man, encountered Trayvon Martin in a dark apartment lot in Sanford, Florida. Zimmerman walked out of that encounter; Martin's lifeless body was carried out on a gurney. Investigators concluded that Zimmerman should not be charged because all of the evidence pointed to self-defense.
Enter the politics: (1) President Obama lamented that Martin could have been HIS son, (2) Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson proclaimed that the death was the result of racism and demanded a special prosecutor, (3) the black community, stirred to action by the politics of the situation, demanded that charges be filed, and (4) the special prosecutor complied by filing charges against Zimmerman for 2nd Degree Murder.
After hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees and a national outcry, Zimmerman was tried by a jury and found innocent. Jackson, Sharpton and Obama all chimed in saying that the system has to change so that justice can be done. A demand was made that the Justice Department file a civil complaint against Zimmerman for violating Martin's civil rights. Never mind that Zimmerman was found innocent and never mind that there was at least a four-minute period of time when Martin could have run back to his apartment and avoided any further conflict, but that he chose not to. Never mind that Martin was likely "stoked up" on marijuana, that his cellphone had pictures of guns and purportedly stolen jewelry on it, or that the special prosecutor decided to withhold that evidence before trial.
When O.J. Simpson was found innocent in a travesty of justice, they celebrated; when Charles Zimmerman was found innocent in a well-considered trial, they claimed racial prejudice. In other words, as long as you find the black man innocent, justice is properly served.
One thing is patently clear: This President has done more to foment racial prejudice in this country than any previous President. He has set the advancement of absorption of the black community into American culture and society back at least 100 years. By interjecting himself into this case from a clearly incorrect and racial viewpoint, he has set the system of black justice in this country back at least 50 years.
All three of these "Musketeers" have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that they value the politics of race more than American justice.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.

ANTI-AMERICAN GUN CONTROL OUTRAGE
American justice, the 2nd Amendment, and the 1st Amendment are about to clash in an unbelievable nightmare. You remember the newspaper in New York state, THE JOURNAL, that published names and addresses of gun owners and caused an outrage? Well, hold on to your bloomers. What follows will curl your toenails.
Not only has that newspaper filed another FOIA request to do a follow-up story, but a new group is creating an app you can use on your cell phone to show locations of homes and businesses of gun owners. And, catch this, they are only one or two technological GPS steps away from being able to tell you where that gun owner is in real time, presuming he is carrying his cell phone. You could actually sit in a restaurant and know how many people in that restaurant were gun owners, not that they were carrying at the time, however. Geo Gun Marker is saying that the device simply lets you know who has a gun in your vicinity and is for informational and safety purposes only.
Well, it doesn't contain information on illegal gun owners or possessors, only the legal ones. It also allows for a citizen to just add a "suspected problem-maker gun-owner" to the list. It also allows for the anti-gun establishment to target gun owners for harassment and intimidation.
The stage is now set for tyranny.
WHAT IN THE SAM HELL IS THIS NATION COMING TO? HAVE WE ALL GONE STARK-RAVING MAD? WHERE IN THE SAM HELL IS OUR OUTRAGE? WHERE IN GOD'S NAME IS OUR COUNTRY?
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.

FEDS NOW HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD DATA
SPECIAL POST
By now, especially if you have been reading my blogs, you are aware of the fact that the NSA has been gathering information about Americans through blanket seizures of your cell phone and land line records. You also know that the Department of Justice has been monitoring newscasters and news organizations that are deemed to be a "threat" to the Administration because they dare to investigate and to tell the truth. The IRS has been targeting conservative groups and individuals through denials of exempt status, failure to act, and direct, repeated audits. The President has issued orders that any Federal employee caught talking is going to pay the price, by way of fine or imprisonment or both.
In the middle of all of this, our illustrious President Barack Husein Obama had the unmitigated gall to say that these things would not be tolerated in his Administration, that there was no ongoing program to spy on us or to oppress us, and that we should all relax and have fun. Well, the Director of the FBI doesn't even know who in his organization is in charge of the IRS investigation; the DOJ is investigating itself; everyone else is stonewalling.
In Utah, as we are aware, the government is building a huge "national security center" designed to store data, data and data about every single person in the country except, presumably, illegals. Yesterday, we were treated to the discovery that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, a new agency created by Obama three years ago, is now collecting all credit card data on all U.S. Citizens; they know everything contained on your magnetic strips, what you buy and where you buy it, how and when you make your payments and what instruments you use to make them, whether or not you have ever been assessed a late fee and, I guess, whether or not you use a prepaid envelope.
All of that information, along with all of the other information being gathered and accumulated on you, will end up being stored in Utah. Oh, they insist that it will be kept confidential, as were the social security numbers of 100,000 donors to conservative groups posted on the IRS website the other day.
I submit to you that it's time we rout these bastards out of office.

NEW ORGANIZATION FOR BOYS BEING FORMED
SPECIAL POST
Now that the Boy Scouts of America has sealed its own fate by accepting gays as members, thousands of adult leaders are deserting the ranks and/or turning in their own awards in disgust. THE BLAZE is reporting that a national coalition is in the process of creating a new organization that will focus on faith-based values in helping young men grow into adulthood. The group has no name as of yet, but does have an executive director and is actively in the process of creating a new program for boys that will restore values cast aside by the Boy Scout decision.
“Our vision is to be the premier national character development organization for young men which produces godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens,” Rob Green said during a conference call on Tuesday. “The new program will be an exciting and motivating outdoor-based program focused on leadership and character development for boys, and founded on principles and values that reflect a Christian worldview.”
I will support this organization. That does not mean that I am actively anti-gay. I am, however, totally against any group that seeks to impose its own values on me against my will, and the gay organizations in this country have developed into exactly that description. I was also taught by the Boy Scouts to stand tall for what is right and to not cave in to those who would try and change your values and morals; they betrayed me and hundreds of thousands of others when they "caved in." I take no joy in saying this; I contacted the Council where I spent many hours as a volunteer on executive committees and asked them to take their Award of Merit back.
In a few years, after they totally dissolve into being the Gay Scouts of America, they will eventually fade away like all things do when they lose their moral and ethical compass.

MEXICAN BORDER BEING USED BY MIDDLE EASTERN TERRORISTS?
SPECIAL POST
There have been innuendos for weeks, stories about copies of the Koran being found in the desert paths across the Mexican border, drawings of bomb components and other such hair-raising tales. The U.N. is now warning that our border is a conduit for undetected crossings of Asians and Africans as well. The report identifies the Islamic terrorist haven of Somalia as being one of the nations from which the illegal U.S. bound border-crossers are originating. Somalia has long served as a passageway from Africa to the Middle East based on its coastal location on the Horn of Africa, just a boat ride away from Yemen. These aspects make Somalia a desirable haven for transnational terrorists, something Al-Qaeda has been trying to capitalize on.
Setting the illegal Mexican immigration aside for the moment, this news underscores the imminent danger our porous Mexican border poses for our own national security. We have left ourselves wide open for acts of terror to occur right here in our homeland. It is absolutely essential that Congress acts now, today, to secure our borders independent from what is or is not going to happen with the situation of amnesty and the illegal Mexicans.

OBAMACARE: THE WHEELS ARE FALLING OFF!
SPECIAL POST
Although the enacting legislation of the "Affordable" Care Act clearly mandated that certain things "shall happen" on specific dates, the Obama Administration is now clearly in disarray on the program, having delayed the implementation of the small business provisions and the income verification process. Previously, it has allowed certain businesses and segments of the economy to have "waivers." The formation and implementation of the individual state "exchanges" is in disastrous condition. The citizens, totally ticked off at the IRS, are madder than hell that the IRS is targeted to be the chief enforcer of the new law. Projected costs are soaring, plan benefits are decreasing.
In short, the forecast "train wreck" has started; the wheels are starting to leave the track.
I take no glee in this news. We have spent hundreds of billions of dollars trying to make this white elephant dance. We all have seen our insurance premiums escalate dramatically, yet we're now discovering that we "ain't seen nothin' yet!" They're talking, almost with a touch of laughter and glee, more increases as much as 400% within the next year!
The only answer is to make the cost of healthcare affordable to everyone. We will always have the chronically unemployed; that's a universal problem. But, they're a drag on society not only in terms of medical care but in other costs of society as well. I think, with that exception, everyone in the country would have some type of medical insurance if it was affordable and beneficial. You don't make it affordable by allowing costs to escalate. You make it affordable by capping how much insurance companies can charge, how much hospitals can charge and how big a profit drug companies can make. And you make the practice of medicine back into what it once was: an honorable profession.
It's a simple formula: encourage more people to enter the profession and you'll drive the costs down. Allow foreign companies to sell their drugs in the United States as long as they pass FDA muster. Let insurance be sold across state lines. Put a cap on how much hospitals can sell drugs and appliances for, say 125% of average retail. I'm sure there are innumerable bright ideas that, with a little thought, can be implemented to contain costs and we don't need a trillion-dollar agency to administer it and we don't need to drive any segment of the medical community out of business in the process.
Simply sitting back and shoving it to the American people is an unacceptable answer.

WE NEED TO AUDIT OBAMACARE
SPECIAL POST
Just as we were heading for the hills for a prolonged Fourth of July holiday, news seeped out from the Administration that it has decided to delay full implementation of the Affordable Care Care Act, (otherwise known sneeringly as "ObamaCare" and affectionately as "that piece of crap,"). The story they would have us believe is that the Administration, which up to this point had insisted that everything was hunky dory and most certainly "on schedule," was concerned that a major business segment was having problems with the reporting requirements involved; and so, in its infinite wisdom, the administration decided to delay implementation of that portion of the monstrosity to give more time to regulators to clarify and simplify the rules.
The huffing and puffing from the Republicans started right on queue, insisting that the Administration was worried about the negative effect the mess was going to have on the 2014 elections, when the Democrats plan to retake the House and cram Obama's agendas down our throats. And, so the stage was set for yet another distraction from the stories of the Benghazi Massacre, IRSGate, DOJGate, EPAGate, NSAGate, and GateGate.
Now then, I submit that stories oozing out from this Administration rarely, if ever, have all of the details or even what details there are... correct. It's always like pulling teeth from these manipulating fabricators. We all know how much overspending and misspending has been going on in every department of the Obama regime. They've all been on one continuous party ever since Obama took office, buying sex, clowns, suites, booze and miscellaneous sundries and other party favors with our money.
Since we have a whole, new government boondoggle bureaucracy being created, should we expect that those involved with virtually blank checkbooks and no established internal oversight would do less? Does the fact that they are already telling Congress that they need more money provide a clue?
I don't know about you, but I'd feel one helluva lot better if we would have an audit of the financial affairs at DHHS, and ObamaCare in particular. And to counter Barack's inevitable suggestion, no... I don't want Eric Holder and the Department of Justice to conduct the audit.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
P.S. One side benefit of this latest move is that we haven't heard a peep from Pelosi or Reid in almost a week.

AMERICAN RELIGIOUS WARS LOOMING?
SPECIAL POST
Not only has the Obama Administration overtly attacked various religious groups, with the exception of Muslims, by cramming birth control and contraception down their throats and by monitoring their activities, but there has been a discernible uptick in litigation brought to constrain the free expression of religion in the country.
A Sonoma State University in California student, Audrey Jarvis, was told by a faculty member that she must remove the cross she was wearing on the basis that other students might find it offensive. The supervisor told her that the chancellor had a policy against wearing religious items and “that she could not wear her cross necklace because it might offend others, it might make incoming students feel unwelcome, or it might cause incoming students to feel that ASP was not an organization they should join.”
How the religious communities in this country can keep their collective mouths shut, I will never know. They are obviously too busy counting their donations to stand up to the tenants of their own teachings.
Obama made it abundantly clear about five years ago that he has little tolerance for people who cling on to their Bibles and guns. It is now equally clear that he intends to eliminate both. The way he's going about things is to foment anger between Muslims and others and to set the stage for violent confrontation.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.

ARE YOU SUFFERING FROM SNAKE BITE?
SPECIAL POST
It's an old saying that if you are you are going to get in bed with snakes, you're bound to get bit. And here we are, surrounded by snakes.
Washington is a huge pit full of snakes. They've overrun the White House, the Congress, the Supreme Court and government departments and agencies, feeding on an endless supply of naive Americans who don't understand the fact that we're in bed with them.
How do you keep from getting bit yourself? That goes back to cutting off the heads of the snakes before they multiply. They've already proven themselves to be a formidable lot, multiplying like rabbits and striking out with their vicious venom at anything that even smells like a patriot.
Where's Saint Patrick when you really need him?
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.

THIS IS JUSTICE?
SPECIAL POST
Twice now, residents of California have spoken loudly and clearly at the polls about not wanting gay marriage to be recognized in the state. Twice, the gay movement has been successful in coercing the courts into finding some way to negate the public will. The last go around, they were rather nasty about it, accusing the Mormon's of using church influence in the state to pass a constitutional amendment. Pro-gay marriage groups exerted their influence at the District Court level and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals; neither one mentioned any problems with the filings.
When the case reached the Supreme Court level, the Court refused to decide whether or not the people's vote in California should be upheld; instead, it chose to cite a technicality that should have been cited at the lower court levels if it was going to be offered at all. The Court ruled that the person(s) bringing the case forward on appeal did not have the legal standing in the case to do so. Although I agree with that technicality, the effect of the Court's ruling was to immediately open the floodgates in California for gay marriages to resume.
What is worse is that the question still hasn't been decided. There is no doubt that everyone in that courtroom knew what the real question was. The fact that the same question has been before the Court twice without a true decision is not only disgraceful, the end result leaves every American wondering what in the hell we need the Court for. They didn't even remand the case back down the line; they simply ruled that the wrong parties to put the case on the table were in the room.
I'm a student of the law. I respect the technicalities of the law. But, this decision leaves me wondering why someone along the line didn't just simply use a gun to commit frontier justice.
