SPECIAL POST
Likely Presidential candidate Marco Rubio has stepped into the political dung big time. On Wednesday, he stood before the Senate and directly addressed his
critics, appealing to them to see his amity with the Senate’s Gang of
Eight as the lesser of two evils.
The "lesser of two evils?" Who in the hell wants an evil, period? We've had enough of this rationalizing on the part of national leaders who don't have the guts or sufficient patriotism to stand up unequivocally for what is right, what is NOT evil. I have a great deal of respect for a man who is willing to stand and admit that he's made a mistake, but I have absolutely no respect for a man who makes the mistake and then tries to worm or spin his way out of it.
And, from what I'm seeing, the rest of the nation is finally coming around to my way of thinking: If the job is worth doing, the job is worth doing right.
Rubio doesn't get it.
That's MY AMERICAN OPINION, respectfully submitted.
