MEDIA, NEWSPAPERS ARE ANTI-AMERICAN

This country was founded upon many principles, among them freedom of the press.  A free press, it was reasoned by our forefathers, is necessary to guarantee open and free conversation, exchanges of ideas and to inform the people of current events in an open, forthright and reliable manner.  Too many governments achieved totalitarian rule over their subjects by controlling the press.  

The First Amendment to our Constitution guarantees freedom of the press in this country.  Yet, when our press and media voluntarily give up that right and align themselves with government to the extent of hiding the truth and serving as a propaganda arm of the ruling class, then they fail to exercise their just and responsible duties to the extent that there is detriment to the people.  

They are therefore un-American and despicable.  Patriotism is not in their dictionaries.  For this, they deserve to rot in hell.
