We can all guess from the facts that the Dems were saying, even before Kavanaugh was nominated, that whoever the President picked for the Supreme Court, they would so everything in the world... whatever was necessary... to stop him or her. Kavanaugh has such impeccable credentials that they appeared to be stymied. Nevertheless, some Dems refused to give him even the courtesy of an interview. When the confirmation process finally got into the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing room, they staged protests and provided that infamous "Spartacus" spectacle. Once Spartacus Booker was revealed for who he really is, we all thought the confirmation could proceed.
You would think that the Dems would be so embarrassed by their obvious antics that they would go hide under their beds, but they didn't. They put forth Diane Feinstein as their newest foil attempt. At the 11th hour, she laid an allegation on the table that Kavanaugh had attempted to rape a 15-year-old girl when he was 17... over 35 years ago, during which she has said nothing to anybody. What was a 15-year-old girl doing at an alleged booze party in the first place?
So, when the latest allegation is disproved and the nation is once again made fully aware of the Dems illicit desperation, what do yo think their next move will be?
Feinstein, already anticipating this eventuality, has already planted the seeds for their next move: she intimated Monday that there more disturbing tidbits of information that she would release "soon." Undoubtedly, it will be another smear attempt. Maybe Stormy Daniels will come forth to say that she, President Trump and Kavanaugh had a threesome one night in a back room of the Russian Embassy, orchestrated by Paul Manafort and Vladimir Putin. Of course, this all will have happened on silk sheets provided by Martha Stewart while the Philadelphia Orchestra attended with a rendition of the Nut Cracker Sweet. This all certainly must have been observed by thew FBI and the DOJ, working through a secret FISA warrant.
At what point will Americans finally gag at all of the sick, twisted depravity being displayed by the socialist, fascist Democrats and throw all of these lunatics out of office?

SPECIAL POST:
As the day started yesterday, the Senate Judiciary Committee was planning to hear sworn testimony from Christine Ford about her allegations that Judge Brett Kavanaugh tried to rape her almost 40 years ago; Judge Kavanaugh was then to be allowed sworn testimony in rebuttal and the Committee would then vote on confirmation. But, Senator Diane Feinstein says she will not accept that, demanding the vote be rescheduled and another full hearing be had.
Then, out popped the weasel. There are now allegations that Kavanaugh's mother presided over a foreclosure proceeding against Ford's parents back in the day, meaning that Ford's accusations could well be a dishonest payback. Not to be outdone or out-maneuvered, Feinstein countered that she had even more allegations she would reveal in due time, while again demanding that the Committee vote be rescheduled until after the November elections.
There's only one reason Feinstein would be playing her cards in this manner... only one reason why these allegations did not come forth months ago: they are lies, meant to discredit Kavanaugh, create confusion and derail the nomination process.
Either that, or Feinstein is totally negligent in not presenting this information weeks ago so that it could be scrutinized during the confirmation hearings. In either case, Feinstein needs to be censured and removed.

So, this alleged assault took place, according to
accuser Christine Ford, when both Kavanaugh and she were in their teens,
at a party where no adults were present, at a house where there were no
adults in attendance, at a house she cannot remember where it was or
who owned it, some 35+ years ago, during which she hasn't mentioned it
to a living soul until the eve of the vote on Brett Kavanugh's
confirmation.
Oh, and by the way, Ford is a registered Democrat.
Why
hasn't anybody else who was at that alleged party where the so-called
offense took place come forward to support Ford's accusations? Why did
Feinstein wait over two months to come forward with this letter from
Ford? Why wasn't the subject matter brought up when Feinstein and
Kavanaugh met prior to the Senate Judiciary hearings? Indeed, why
wasn't this alleged offense brought out in the Senate Judiciary
hearings, at least during Booker's "Spartacus Moment?" Why didn't this
come out when Kavanaugh was going through the process of being confirmed
as a Federal Judge back in 2003-2006?
Feinstein
needs to be removed from office or smacked down with a huge ethics
complaint. There is no excuse for her behavior... a sinister attempt to
ruin the reputation of a well-respected jurist.

Right after the "Shadow Government," also known as the "Deep State,"takes outright control of the government following the November elections, the next step will be to abolish the Constitution and establish the new ruling regime, which will consist of only two entities: (1) the Potentates, and (2) the Supreme Justices.
The Potentates will consist of the High Potentate, (Barack Obama), and two simple, plain and drab Potentates, Cory Booker and Kamala Harris. Each Potentate will have one vote on all matters of government and the majority rules; the High Potentate will be the spokesman and emissary. There will be no need for a Congress or anything like it, since all governance will issue forth from the Potentates. They will appoint the following official ministers: Defense, (Eric Holder); Justice, (Loretta Lynch); Education, (Maxine Waters); Treasury, (Hillary Clinton); State, (John Kerry); and Energy, (Charles Schumer).
The Supreme Justices will be a body of nine members which will have the sole and ultimate authority in matters of law; they will consist of the three Potentates and six Ministers.
The individual state governments will be dissolved and come directly under the central government; the Potentates will appoint Administrators, one for each state, to ensure that orders, laws and regulations passed down from the central government are strictly enforced. Any violation of any law shall be punishable by death; any violation of any regulation shall be punishable by a minimum of ten years imprisonment; and any violation of any government order shall be punishable by public whippings.
Each Potentate or Minister will have lifetime terms. Upon death or resignation, the vacancy shall be filled in the following order of succession: their spouse, their conjugal partner, their firstborn, their brother, their sister, their bookie. Administrators will serve terms of ten years, for a maximum of ten terms.
You probably think I'm kidding, don't you? And... What if I'm not?

The establishment Congressional Republicans are sticking it to us big time.
We're going into an election that is probably the most important mid-term election to occur in the last 150 years and all of the marbles are on the table. The left is so intent on removing Trump from office that they are literally foaming at their mouths. The "establishment right" is doing everything it can do to accommodate the designs of the left; they have proven themselves willing to destroy the Republican Party... and America... in order to keep control and power.
What it all boils down to is who is going to control Congress after the November elections... the good guys or the bad guys? The Republicans are putting you and me in the position of wanting like hell to vote them out of office, but not being able to do so because we don't want the Democrat fascists in office. In other words, they're setting the stage so that we're going to have to hold our noses and vote for them anyway.
Frankly, it sucks... and I'm not one damned bit happy about it.

A year ago, the Paul Ryan - Mitch McConnell-led Congress crammed a huge budget deficit down our throats with their mega-budget, while at the same type denying our President... and us... the border wall. A huge uproar of anger erupted and, although he signed it, President Trump warned that they had damned-well never pull that stunt again.
So, here we are a year later and... they're pulling the same old crap. Yes, they're flipping the President we elected and the Americans who voted for him... off. What's even worse is that we have a House full of Republican Representatives and a Senate full of Republican Senators who are going right along with the program... most of them without saying even a word of disagreement.
They have to know that, if they do this, they will lose both the House and the Senate in November and they'll be on the outside looking in while President Trump will be totally isolated in a sea of Democrats who want to impeach him. That means only one thing: that's the grand plan and they're in on it.
And I, for one, am already madder than hell.

How long has it been since you've heard a Democrat ask, "What's your opinion?" Has it been 10 years... 20... 30...40? If you get my gist, you must now understand that Democrats don't give a damn what your opinion is; you must accept their opinion as being gospel.
They will assert that the sun comes up in the west; they will then back their position up by pointing out that east never was east and west was never west, but east is west and west is east. If you even think about disagreeing with that argument, you're a racist and no further discussion will be tolerated... period.
The Constitution does not exist... it cannot be the law of the land... because they didn't vote on it. Furthermore, the Constitution does not say that the Articles of Confederation are either repealed or rescinded; therefore, the only legitimate government is under the original Articles of Confederation and that only applies to the original 13 colonies. As a result, President Trump cannot be the President of the United States; he can only be the President of Congress and must therefore be removed from the White House, pronto.
Since the Constitution is not valid, the Bill of Rights does not exist... nor does any one of the other Amendments to the Constitution. That's why there is no freedom of speech. Democrats can tell you to shut up and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. Likewise, there's no freedom of religion; they can tell you what to believe, how to believe, when you can believe and where you can believe. As for guns... there are no rights to bear arms and you must therefore lay your arms down immediately, unload them and take them to the authorities to be destroyed; if you don't comply... they'll shoot you.
Since the Articles of Confederation give the powers of government to the individual states, "Each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and
every power, jurisdiction, and right, which is not by this Confederation
expressly delegated," so it is that California can tell the feds to go to hell, and the feds must, without any haste whatsoever, comply. California can have all of the sanctuary cities it wants, and the feds have to shut up and suck hind tit.
There is no Supreme Court; such legal issues are resolved solely by Congress. Bye, bye Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, et al. Finally, no where in the Articles does it say that conservatives can exist at all, therefore... they do not.

I've written about this subject from time to time; as a veteran, it's a subject that's dear to my heart.
The Feds are finally cracking down on firms that claim to be raising money to help vets... and then keep the funds raised for themselves. Americans have developed a deep respect and love for those of us who have put our lives on the line over the years to protect American freedoms. It's a natural given they they want to dig in and help veterans however they can.
Generous Americans give more than $2.5 billion a year to some 40,000 charities with missions supposedly designed to help veterans. My brief investigation months ago revealed a large number of such organizations had non-existent addresses or were not licensed to do business. Some use fund-raising companies which collect 85% of the amounts raised as fees; as it turns out, some of those fund-raising companies have in turn been owned by principals involved in the charity.
There are several well-known veteran charities that use all, or a substantial portion, of funds raised to help veterans in need. Among them are: The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wounded Warriors and Disabled American Veterans.
By all means, be charitable with your money, but check out the organizations you are giving to before you part with your hard-earned money.

On the second day of confirmation hearings for Brett Kavanaugfh. The Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Chuck Grassley, continued to allow protesters to interrupt proceedings with loud, screaming rhetoric from the gallery. All sense of dignity, decorum and propriety has dissolved.
Nobody... nobody has the right to disrupt such proceedings in such a manner as to inject tyranny and anarchy, or to inflame the body politic. By his failure to control the hearings with a firm hand, Grassley has, by default, agreed with their tactics and demeanor, tainted by his own inadequacies.
And, it is obvious to all who watch that these hooligans are allowed in there at the instigation, will and pleasure of the Democrats. The was underscored when Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer invoked a Senate rule and demanded that hearings stop at 2:00 PM because they were interfering with other Senate business. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell displayed a rare set of testicles and adjourned the Senate for the rest of they day, thereby allowing the Judiciary Committee hearings to continue.
What a disgrace to the country. What childish behavior. Come November, it must be eliminated.

We've heard it defiantly said from quite a few Democrats they they don't stand by some of the left-wing antics of their party leadership. They insist that they are just as upset about some of the stunts being pulled as we conservatives are. "Don't lump us all together," they beg.
Okay... show us what you're really made of. Convince us that just because you're a Democrat doesn't mean you have to be deaf, dumb and blind. Show the country that you can make your own decisions and that you're not part of the prevailing democrat "zombie" culture.
If you know that the people up for reelection in November don't represent the way you feel about your party and about America as a whole, you have three choices: (1) Don't show up at the polls at all,; (2) show up at the polls, but cast no vote for the people you don't think represent your views, or (3) show up at the polls and vote for the people who do represent your views, regardless of party affiliation.
Frankly, I think that staying at home is not the American way. In order to preserve our Constitution and our democracy, we need to participate in our government... and that means voting our conscience.
If you haven't registered to vote, do it now before it is too late. It's easy.
Now's your chance to prove to the country and to the world that you can make up your own mind without party bosses you don't agree with telling you what you have to do.

The day has come. The world is afloat with data. Everything around you is gathering bytes of information.... about you, your family, your dog and his fleas. Your refrigerator is a smart refrigerator; you drive a smart car; you use a smart phone; your house has a smart burglar alarm system; you use a smart system to water your plants while you're off to explore the moon. All of these things are connected and interconnected, their gathered information stored in an immense computer system that is now being tapped to alter your life's choices about what you buy and what you do.
You sneeze; your computer screen is filled with ads for Kleenex. You go to the restroom; your phone is filled with text messages about toilet tissues. You go outside to change a battery in your surveillance system and you get flooded with ads from Duracell. You saunter into the grocery store and your I-Phone screen puts out brilliant ads for Gatorade on sale; it's not just coincidental that you bought some Gatorade the last time you were in that store.
You never know when the camera in your computer screen is observing you. Yahoo is now reading your emails. Google is keeping track of what you search for. If you use certain words in your online communications, all kinds of computers around the country get a message.
The day is here, my friends, when you could walk into that grocery store and get immediately accosted by some left-wing lunatic who gets into your face and starts berating you because you're a member of the NRA... and they know because... your cellphone notified the central database that you were there; meathead who is about to sour your whole day was notified to "get" you. Maybe you're on the phone with one of your friends, talking about the upcoming election, and your cellphone suddenly explodes right after you say, "We need to make America great again."
One thing is for certain: you are no longer a person. You are an object, something to be manipulated like a piece of data. If you don't respond accordingly, someone... or some thing... is going to short-circuit your life.

It's been going on for almost a decade. The corruption within the Democrat ranks began to manifest itself almost from the day Obama won the 2008 elections and by the time Obama took office in January of 2009, it was already firmly established. From that point on, it simply grew and grew. There's even some evidence to show that things started to go to hell during the Bush years.
Way back in 2008 during that secret meeting between Hillary and Barack, after which Hillary abruptly withdrew from the race, I knew the "fix" was in: Obama would be engineered into the presidency and serve eight years, after which they would pull any strings necessary to ensure Hillary won and got her eight years. By that time, the two major culprits and their backers would have been able to install the "change" that Obama had promised... a change from a democratic government to a left-wing socialist autocracy.
They thought they had it in the bag, to such a degree that they became cavalier and open about their dirty plan. They used the IRS and the FBI to punish their enemies, and they both used their powers to raise hundreds of millions of dollars with which to buy the presidency for decades to come... until they were able to erase any semblance of democracy from the country. They were so naive that they even pulled strings to ensure that Trump would win the Republican nomination, because they figured he would be the easiest to beat at the polls.
In the meantime, Clinton and Obama had extended their domineering influence into the DOJ, FBI, NSA, DOS, DOD, IRS, and the press and media by inserting loyal agents into top bureaucratic and influential positions. There was no way, they assumed, that they would ever lose their powerful grips on America.
But, Trump won.
The game plan now became to keep their cronies in their jobs until the 2020 elections, to solidly cover up their extensive misdeeds, and to do everything possible in the meantime to undermine the Trump presidency and line up either Hillary or Elizabeth Warren for the 2020 Democrat nomination.
Hence, the stonewalling coverups began. To add to the problem, Republican RINOs participated in the efforts to sabotage Trump, because he threatened their dynasties and comfortable lifestyles. So, that is where we are today and the 2020 elections are just two years away. It's now Trump versus Hillary, Obama, the RINOs and the corrupted bureaucrats of the governmental departments, as well as a very hostile press and media.
It stinks.
It's up to us to come to the aid of Trump and our country by running off the perpetrators in November.

Here's the story you will never ever hear in today's media: a very drunk illegal alien tried to burn down a hospital in Maryland.
The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office told ABC7 that a fire in the emergency room back in May was started by illegal alien Henry Padilla-Martinez, who is
20. That was three months ago, and you haven't heard a peep about it. In fact, hundreds of crimes being committed across the country every month go unreported, because you obviously have no right to know about the things that concern you.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which said that
Padilla-Martinez is a Honduran national illegally living in the United
States, lodged a detainer request against Padilla-Martinez... which is
likely not to be honored since the county is a sanctuary for those who
break U.S. immigration laws. Those facts are not convenient truths for the Democrats or for their media propaganda machines.
In the meanwhile down in Texas, Democrats are demanding that all criminal penalties for crossing our borders illegally be scrapped.
The day is coming when there could be armed conflict between those who care for our country and those who don't.

Following over a year of stonewalling Congressional demands for evidence and testimony, coupled with outright refusal to investigate claims of corruption in the FBI and Department of Justice, President Trump lashed out at the Attorney General earlier this week by saying, "Jeff Sessions never took control of the Justice Department, and it's a sort of an incredible thing." Trump went on to say that he might have to get "involved."
Yesterday, Sessions had the unmitigated gall to say: “While I am Attorney General, the actions of the Department of Justice
will not be improperly influenced by political considerations.”
These are not political issues; these are legal issues and Session is at the forefront of an unprecedented coverup. He has deliberately allowed Rosenstein and Mueller to abuse and exceed their authorities and to both be heavily conflicted in their roles. He has proven himself beyond all doubt to be immensely entrenched in"the establishment," as well as in protecting the Clintons, the Obama administration, the FBI and the DOJ.
He just flipped off the President of the United States and deserves to be hung by his un-American testicles in front of the Washington Monument at high noon.

Fox News is reporting: "There has been a spike in spending on ads by Democrats that focus on gun
control across gubernatorial, Senate and House races, according to USA Today.
In 2014, there were 558 pro-gun control spots, mostly from Democrats.
In 2018, that number had rocketed to 18,416, in comparison to 8,897
anti-gun control spots by mostly Republicans." 62 of 63 candidates on the House Democrats’ campaign arm’s list of seats to
flip in November support expanded background checks for gun
purchases.
They ignore the fact that 100% of the gun crimes committed in this country are carried out by people who don't give a hoot about any laws... gun laws included. Therefore and by default, gun laws only impact the law-abiding citizen. The Democrats would seize all guns from all law-abiding citizens, leaving them vulnerable to criminals with guns.
In the same breath, Democrats advocated for wide open borders. The fact that highly illegal and addictive drugs cross the borders every minute doesn't phase them a bit. They're not concerned about sex trafficking across the southern border and they totally favor dismantling I.C.E. and letting illegal alien criminals hole up in "sanctuary" cities and states. In other words, they actively support higher crime rates.
When it comes to public safety and abiding by the laws, preventing murders and stopping drug addiction, the Republicans win the argument hands down... while the Democrats have become the abysmal enemies of an orderly and just society. All you have to do to prove it to yourself is to look at Chicago, a sanctuary city with gun control, run by Democrats.

For well over 18 months, Washington has been telling us to "be patient" when it comes to routing out corruption and political animus. Nobody talks anymore of holding Hillary or her fellow thugs accountable for the many crimes she committed as Secretary of State and during her run-up to the 2016 elections. There's been no investigation of the Clinton Foundation or the sale of American uranium to Russia. Furthermore, there's been absolutely no credible investigation into Obama's role in directing the FBI and the DOJ to cover all of that up.
In the meanwhile, those in positions of high power and authority in this country who could easily rectify these travesties of justice... Sessions, Rosenstein, Wray, Mueller, et al... continue to subvert the will of the American people while they put their energies into using a bogus investigation of Trump as a pretext for continuing the coverup.
Since January of 2017, our Republican-controlled Congress has been telling us that they're going to do this or that, to have this investigation or that investigation, or this hearing or that hearing... always intimating that feet are going to be held to the fire. Yet, with all of that huffing and puffing, the only House that's likely to be blown down come November is the House of Representatives for its utter failure in its oversight responsibilities.
The plain, simple fact of the matter is this: We are sick and tired of being told to be patient. Come November, we're going to do something about it.

You won't often find me jumping up and down about environmental issues, basically because they were politicized under the Obama administration. So, while I'm not one to wave the flags of global warming, I've seen some things in recent years that really do concern me.
Native Americans have, by-and-large, always striven to leave the planet a better world than it was when they got here. So, I was astonished and totally dismayed to see the piles of rotting rubbish they left behind at their encampment near the Standing Sioux Reservation after the pipeline protests there ended.

Added to that visible, sickening pollution are the unseen globs of spilled oil, untold tons of raw sewage from ships, boats and shoreline cities, and the types of garbage that sink to the ocean floors as opposed to becoming floating debris fields such as the one depicted in the Philippines.
We humans simply have to put a stop to this.

Let's face it: we have a sick country.
We have a nation full of people who think they're entitled to a whole bunch of goodies for free. A lot of people think we should have borders wide open to drugs, crime and the dregs of society. We have city, state and national leaders who believe they don't have to obey our laws if they don't want to. There are even people who believe that if they don't like the way an election turns out, they should have the right to overthrow the will of the people.
I can go on and on about what is wrong with the country, but I've come to the conclusion that they are just symptoms of the far bigger and more fundamental issue: we've forgotten or moral, ethical and religious values.
The strength of our nation always relied on those strong values as being the guidelines and the bedrock foundations of everything we set about doing in this country. Now, it's almost as if they have evaporated among a significant portion of our society. Even our churches have changed their rules and teachings to be more lenient and tolerant of abhorrent behaviors; it's as if they feel they can override the Word of God at their own will and discretion.
It seems to me that we need to come to grips with the fact that if we are going to survive, we're going to have to change our ways and get back to our roots.

I'm no fan of Robert Mueller; if the guy was crossing the street in front of me, I'd have a hard time keeping my foot off the gas pedal. So, you're probably going to think I'm as crazy as my ex-wife always said I was when I lay out what I'm about to say.
Judges in our country are supposed to exhibit the epitome of the words "fair and unbiased" in the courtroom. When they do otherwise, they open the door for an appeal by the loser in the matter based on judicial bias. Judge T.S. Ellis in the United States vs. Manafort case is exhibiting what appears to me to be unprecedented bias from the bench. After all, he's been belittling and scowling and growling at Mueller's team from even before the trial started.
Now, I may agree with him, but in my heart I know this is wrong. One has to ask himself if Ellis is doing this deliberately in order to set things up for an appeal. The other day, he let his fuse overload in front of the jury, and that's even worse.
I don't think Mueller's team has enough evidence to convict Manafort of jaywalking, let alone the crimes of which he is accused. It's patently obvious to most of us that the sole purpose of this trial is to squeeze Manafort into testifying against Trump. Nevertheless, the Judge needs to keep within his bounds and ensure that both sides are treated equally, under the law.

The relentless pursuit of conservatives into restaurants, lounges and other public places... all accompanied by threats, bullying and assaults... has to stop before someone gets killed. Tensions are so tight... if someone gets killed or seriously injured, armed revolution could be at hand.
Just the other day, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and Communications Director
Candace Owens sat down for breakfast in a Philadelphia cafe. Shortly
after their arrival, they were harassed by Antifa, whose irate members
eventually surrounded the establishment with bullhorns. When Kirk and Owens left the establishment, they were met with hissing,
chants and screaming. Kirk was doused with water and the police had to
step in for safety reasons.
There have been recent such attacks against Sarah Sanders and her family, as well as other prominent conservatives. And Maxine Waters says that's just fine; keep it up. I have reason to believe that Barack Obama has taken the lead and is actively stirring up this type of activity; he wants do to everything possible to stop the conservative movement in the country... and Donald Trump in particular. There are obviously spies and informants closely following the activities and locations of conservatives; how else could they organize such clashes so quickly?
Everyone has a right to protest. Nobody has the right to instigate violence.

The rancorous, rude, condescending, lying, obnoxious, whining, propagandist, bad-mannered, ill-bred, uncivil, crude, unrefined, vulgar, incompetent, asinine, fatuous dullards of the press and media have proven beyond any reasonable doubt that they are just all of that. And I'd be willing to bet that 95% of them would have to look up at least three or four of those words in the dictionary to find out what they mean.
They'd probably be much, much happier residing on a playground at a preschool.

I've been really down on the Republican "good old establishment boys." The Ryans and McConnells of the world and their ardent followers in the Congress have proven beyond all reasonable doubt that they put their own agendas and interests far ahead of the interests of America. While Clinton escapes without a scratch, and the FBI and DOJ continue their stonewall coverups, the Republicans have by-and-large refused to lift even one finger to get to the truth. Ryan has flat-out refused to back his committees which are looking into these travesties of justice; indeed, he's also sabotaged President Trump and his agenda at every turn.
Every Republican in Congress who has refused to stand up to these jackals and to demand answers and justice is complicit, and needs to be removed from office and summarily thrown on the trash heaps of bad American history. That's what I've been advocating... to dump them in the primaries.
Now, we're getting down to the nitty-gritty; we're just three months from the midterm elections and most of the primaries have already been held. Some of the jackals have been dumped and, thank God, about 50 saw the handwriting on the wall and didn't even bother to run for reelection. Nevertheless, we're still stuck with more than our fair share going into the home stretch.
When push comes to shove, I have to say that we simply can't vote for the Democrat, no matter how lame the Republican candidate really is. Those guys make no bones about wanting to force Trump out of office, about seizing back their "crumbs," about going back to a foreign policy of appeasement, or about opening up the borders and creating a "sanctuary country" where illegal criminals can do their crimes without fear of punishment.
So, albeit reluctantly, I'll be voting for the Republican. Even if he is a mealy-mouthed, two-faced anti-American jackass, he's far better than the alternative.

The illustrious Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said over the weekend that Congress will not take up funding of the border wall before the mid-term elections and that a government shutdown absolutely will not happen. But... by yesterday he was saying that he has the President's back on funding the wall: “I support what the president is trying to do on the wall. Most of my
members do as well. We’re going to
continue to discuss it with him and hope that this process can achieve
what he would like to achieve on the wall and also get these
appropriations bills signed into law which is quite different than
what’s happened in the past.”
We all know what Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan engineered during the last budget battle, when they both showed their true anti-American colors by shoving a huge multi-trillion dollar budget down our throats while cutting funding for all border security at the same time. What's worse is that the Republicans in both the House and the Senate stood right there behind them while they did it.
And they not only want me to contribute money to them, but they also expect my vote in November? How mealy-mouthed can you get?

The fire near Redding, California is making national news: Governor Brown has declared it to be in a state of emergency and President Trump is invoking rules to provide for Federal assistance. This fire started last Monday in the mountains due to a flat tire on a motor vehicle causing sparks. That night, the fire stood at 65 acres. Tuesday night, it had grown to 265 acres... and then things blew up. Wednesday, it was almost 3,000 acres; Thursday, over 28,000 acres; Friday over 43,000 acres; Saturday it hit 83,000 acres and Sunday morning it was 89,000 acres.
In the process, it burned into the northwest section of Redding, destroying businesses and houses, and started to take lives.
Unfortunately, a lot of bad things have been happening: some jerks are driving around with their cameras, trying to get a fire shot; some have taken to looting; and some are refusing to leave areas that are under evacuation, meaning that fire personnel now have to worry about them instead of fighting the fire. Some techie sportsmen are even flying drones over the fires, creating potential dangers for helicopters and tankers.
Most people mean well, but simply have no clue. They want to donate food, water, clothing and other items to evacuation centers and to firefighters. Firefighters are ell-equipped and adept at setting up their own food centers and the logistics involved in that. But, picture this: I'll pick up two cases of bottled water and take them to the evacuation center down the road; that sounds like a good idea, right? In a city of 95,000 residents with another 35,000 or so within reasonable driving distance, if just 1% follow through with two cases each, that's 2,600 cases of water that are going to show up.
The center has to store that water someplace where others might want to sleep. It has to provide someone to haul the water in. If the evacuation center has to move, it now has to contend with moving 2,600 cases of water along with cots, food and people. Add to that... baby diapers, blankets, clothing, cases of hot dogs, chips, dips... it becomes a nightmare.
The best thing to do if you want to help, is donate to a local veterans group, a civic club, a church, the Red Cross or the Salvation Army; all of these organizations can use the funds to help their own members who may have been burned out, or they can funnel the funds to evacuation centers which can then order in what they actually need and as supplies run low.
These fires can move suddenly and erratically. If you get told to get out... get out. If you're within ten miles of an evacuation area, you should already be packed and ready to go... and you should have a destination and route planned.
Be safe, be smart.

I was in the Air Force during the Viet Nam War. I remember very well when Jane Fonda climbed on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun in Hanoi and virtually told our members of the American military to go to hell. She was totally outspoken against that war and was involved in several groups opposing it.
Over the years, she has been appropriately lambasted for her anti-American, anti-GI actions. There's a picture of her plastered in virtually every men's urinal in every veteran's organization in the United States. During this time, she has made excuses... even said she "regretted" having that picture taken.
After all of these years, she has now finally apologized and says she is very sorry, and that she never intended to hurt or upset America's brave military men who were fighting for their country.
You know what? She is correct that we should never have been there. We were not there to win. We put the lives of our American service men and women on the line to fight a war that Washington was not willing to fight. You fight wars only when you have to and you fight them to win. Otherwise, you don't go to war and spill the blood of Americans on foreign soils.
I don't appreciate what she did or said. Nevertheless, she has finally... finally... apologized for it and I am willing to accept it.
We've got far bigger things to be upset about going on right here within our country that we really need to get focused on.

House Speaker Paul Ryan has betrayed America.
He's going to let Rod Rosenstein get away with refusing to comply with House subpoenas and turn over documents. He's single-highhandedly refusing to recognize the petition of impeachment.
Rod Rosenstein and James Comey conspired to let Hillary Clinton get away with so many crimes, I cannot list them here.
Paul Ryan and his so-called Republican House can all go to hell.

Make no mistake about what I'm going to say: I admire and respect President Trump for what he is trying to accomplish for our country.
That being said, I am totally baffled by how he reacts to North Korea or China or Russia or Iran... letting them know in no uncertain terms where we stand... while at the same time letting far more dangerous adversaries within America get away with figurative murder. Take the Justice Department for example: they are actively refusing to cooperative with the constitutionally legitimate Congressional inquiries and oversight. They refuse to respond to subpoenas, fail to turn over documents and heavily redact what they do provide... and they flat-out lie about things. The FBI is no better; they are totally complicit in coverups beyond our ability to comprehend.
We have a Speaker of the House and a Senate Majority Leader of the President's own political party who openly flip off the President and his agenda, and who work actively to subvert it at every turn... and they're joined by a hoard of fascist, socialist Democrats and recalcitrant Republicans who apparently don't believe in American democracy or our right to have our government respond positively to our wishes or directions.
But, when it comes to those culprits, President Trump is nowhere near the firm leader he is with nations. He doesn't even huff and puff effectively. He whines, but he doesn't threaten and he allows the status quo to continue to erode the foundations upon which this country was built.
Sessions, Mueller, Rosenstein and Wray all need to be fired. Ryan and McConnell need to be dressed down publicly. We elected President Trump to end this internal bullshit, but we're afraid to even wear his hat in public because we might just end up in a hospital bed.
In the meantime, Obama continues his "community organizing" and his domestic terrorism... and the country is suffering every minute of every day from infernal, internal Presidential malaise.

Enough is enough: The NFL Player's Union has forced the NFL to continue allowing players to kneel, flip their middle fingers or do whatever else they want during the presentation of the American flag and the playing of the National Anthem. The recent decision by the NFL regarding conduct during the playing of the anthem and presentation of the flag has been scuttled.
Let the bastards go play futbol in Venezuela and we'll start up a new league with real Americans in it.

It's been awhile, but I listened in Wednesday to a good portion of the White House Press Briefing. I have to say that I was more than appalled at the decorum and rancor of the press corps. It was obvious very early on that this drill was not about asking legitimate, pertinent questions, but that it was a well-orchestrated arrogant and blood thirsty attack on Sarah Sanders and Donald Trump. The participants were actually snarling and did not hesitate to talk over, interrupt or outright badger Sanders.
Frankly, it was disgusting to see that what was, in days past, an intellectual search for relevant facts of the day has turned into nothing more than a disgraceful exhibition of venom and ill will. I feel sorry for Sarah Sanders, having to enter a den full of poisonous and treacherous snakes every day.
Why the White House gives these immature boors a stage is beyond me. This country has far better things to do with its time and energy.

Trump needs to be stripped naked, coated with sweet honey and staked down on the ant pile, while the Baja Marimba Band plays "The Lonely Bull" in the background and the audience indulges in the Baskin Robbins ice cream of the day. Maybe we could get Maxine Waters to deliver a poignant eulogy as the ants devour their prey, and while Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell fun it up on the sidelines.

According to a FOXNEWS.COM report, the word came out yesterday that Israeli agents covertly extracted documents detailing Iran’s nuclear program in a
dramatic 6½-hour operation in Tehran in January, removing a trove of
materials that included partial designs for a nuclear warhead, senior
Israeli intelligence officials said. The team secretly reached the warehouse holding the materials
and broke in during a tight time window when it knew the building would
be unguarded, the officials said. To avoid drawing attention to the
nondescript facility, Iran hadn’t posted full-time guards, they said,
but rather relied on alarm systems that the Israeli agents disabled.
Barack Obama would never have even considered such a move; he had his precious Nobel Peace Prize to uphold. Hillary Clinton could not have managed to pull off such a move because every country in the world was tapped into her private servers and they'd know in advance what was up.
And nobody has said word one about the successful raid for six months.
Well, we all know the Israelis came back empty handed, because the Iranians knocked off their nuclear program entirely when Barack sent them those cargo planes full of cash, right?

DNC Deputy chair Keith Ellison told attendees at a Supreme Court
Community Forum in Minneapolis Monday that Democrats might impeach Supreme Court justices if the party regains a majority
following the 2018 midterm elections.
I surmise that means the Constitution is destined for the trash can. Not only do they intend to impeach President Trump, but they're going to throw out Gursuch and Kavanaugh as well. Why stop there? How about tossing out Alito, Roberts and Thomas while they're at at?
Where I come from, it's called "Mob Rule." I presume the next step is going to be to resume the practice of gun duels... two of them vs. one of us... that's a "duel."

The Democrats have been unanimously and diametrically opposed to any nominee by President Trump of any prospective member of the Supreme Court. Even before Kavanaugh's nomination was announced, Elizabeth Warren and others were standing on the steps of the Supreme Court protestinfg whoever it was going to be. California Representative Kamala Harris flatly refused to accept even a courtesy call from the White House to let her know that a nominee had been picked. According to an account, the Democratic California senator’s office
told White House Counsel Don McGahn, “We want nothing to do with you.”
They want nothing to do with our Constitutional processes? They don't want to participate in dialogue or discourse on the merits? If they can't have their way, if they cannot impose their will on the American people, then piss on America?
They have become rabid dogs, foaming at their collective mouths.
It's disgusting, it's sickening... it wrenches my soul to consider the State of our Union. We must remove these cancers on our country.

You may remember the story of Imran Awan, the Pakistani who took up residence on Capitol Hill as their I.T. guru. Awan was born in Pakistan, but came to the U.S. with his family when he
was a teenager. He was arrested at Dulles International
Airport outside Washington during the 2017 summer before trying to board a flight to Pakistan.
Awan had access to dozens of House Members' computer information and an investigation was initiated early in 2017 regarding possible theft of such information, transfer of information to "outside sources," equipment theft, access to sensitive computer systems, destroying hard drives, and more. He was immediately fired by every House member except Debbie Wasserman Schultz who kept him on the payroll for months, although he no longer had access to House computer systems. A laptop computer belonging to Schultz was found in a House men's restroom stall and confiscated by Capitol Police. Schultz want totally off-the-charts ballistic and demanded return of the laptop and insisted that it not be examined. All evidence at the time indicated something big and sinister was brewing. In the meantime, it was discovered that Awan had committed bank fraud by obtaining fraudulent loans.
Schultz did everything possible to thwart any further investigation into the laptop or Awan's relationship with her office.
The FBI announced over the June 30th weekend that it had reach a plea deal with Awan, whereby he pleaded guilty to only one lesser charge involving the bank fraud and all charges regarding the House computers were totally dropped. Prosecutors said they "uncovered no evidence" that Awan "violated federal law with respect to the House computer systems."
In early June, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) alleged
on the House floor that the FBI had actually instructed witnesses to
not bring documentary evidence to them about the Awan brothers’ case so
they could say there’s no evidence for them to investigate.
The DOJ plea deal with Awan and his wife means no one will ever know what really happened... and the Deep State Establishment remains firmly entrenched and in charge.

The Democrats have made it clear: It doesn't matter who President Trump nominates to the Supreme Court vacancy, he or she cannot be confirmed. It doesn't matter what the credentials of the nominee are; he or she cannot be allowed on the Court. Period.
God, of course, would be automatically disqualified for two reasons: God has no place in our government and God doesn't like Satan.
