OBAMA’S BUDGET ALIENATES SENIOR CITIZENS

Obama’s plan calls for Medicare and Medicaid cuts against seniors and a Federal Government board to require justification for medical treatments for seniors.  This is another attempt like the one he tried to hide in his health care bill and reminiscent of the “death squads.”  In his repeated attempts to deny or curtail senior medical care, he is making it abundantly clear that he wants those of us who still remember who is really in charge of this government to dry up and blow away… the sooner the better.    

But, it only gets worse. 


Thursday, Obama delivered some of his harshest criticism yet about his recent battle with Republicans to fund the government in FY2011.  It appears that he did not intend for everybody to hear him.  While listening to an audio feed from a Chicago fundraiser Thursday night, CBS News reporter Mark Knoller heard Obama speaking with donors after other reporters had left the room. The president really opened up about his disdain for the recent GOP pushback:

• "I said, 'You want to repeal health care? Go at it. We'll have that debate. You're not going to be able to do that by nickel-and-diming me in the budget. You think we're stupid?'" Obama reportedly said.  He also complained about GOP attempts to attach a bill to the resolution to fund the government that would defund Planned Parenthood.

• "Put it in a separate bill," the president said he told House Speaker John Boehner and his staff. "We'll call it up. And if you think you can overturn my veto, try it. But don't try to sneak this through."  

• The president also made it clear he is no fan of Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), the GOP's Budget Committee chairman.  "When Paul Ryan says his priority is to make sure, he's just being America's accountant ... This is the same guy that voted for two wars that were unpaid for, voted for the Bush tax cuts that were unpaid for, voted for the prescription drug bill that cost as much as my health care bill--but wasn't paid for," Obama reportedly said. 

Obama’s contemptuous stances on this and many other issues are wearing thin with most Americans; it shows in the public opinion polls.  His continuous lies, spins, fabrications and manipulations are being noted by more and more of us every day.  The time is fast approaching when we will have our vengeance, and the $1 billion that George Soros and his buddies have put together to buy the 2012 election are likely to go down the toilet.  

In the meantime, America’s seniors are madder than hell.

OBAMA'S LIBYA BECOMES REALLY BAD NEWS

Radiation levels in the west are back to normal, except for southern California where they are about twice the normal levels.  In the Northwestern U.S., they are also elevated.

There is now word coming out of Washington that the Libyan situation, as ugly as it has been, in about to turn nasty.  Al Queda is calling on Muslims from all nearby nations to join in a Jihad against Gadhafi... and the United Nations and United States.  In other words, they plan to take over the country and they plan on taking on both sides in the current war in order to do so.  

France is saying the United States is not doing its job; they need more air support and weapons from us, and they need them now.  


Well, my illustrious Barack Hussein Obama, this is your war; what's your next move?  American boots on the ground?  And, why are we hearing that you knew this might happen when you decided to get us into this bottomless quicksand?

When the budget cuts dropped from $100 billion to $61 billion, I was disappointed.  When they then dropped more to $38 billion, I was disconcerted.  When I heard that $19 billion of that was already being saved anyway, I was disenchanted.  And then, when they came out and said that only $359 million of that was actually going to be saved, I was severely dissatisfied.  

To see how this government actually works is disgusting.  No wonder I distrust our Congress.  Dat's all I have to say about dis.

$38 BILLION? THE $19 BILLION LIE

Now that the so-called $38 billion budget deal has been "approved," but not passed, the inevitable fact that the figures are wrong is leaking out.   As it turns out, they are counting money that was being saved, anyway.  Here's how it works.

Let's suppose that there was an earmark a few years ago for $50 million to build a monument to Loretta Lynn in Nashville, and the townspeople decided not to build the monument after all.  So, the money has been sitting there n a special account, waiting for something to happen; it will never be spent and should be released back into Federal coffers.  Well, the spin doctors just found it and took it back and claimed that as part of the $38 billion in budget savings.  It's no savings at all.

There were about $19 billion in "budget savings" that were simply such an accounting gimmick.  Whether or not Boehner knew about it is not known at this point, but the Democrats certainly did. 

I'm madder than a wet hen.  I suspected this would be the case, or some similar scenario, because when Obama and his Democrat thugs are involved, you can never trust a thing they say and figures always lie.  

Once again, we Americans have been snookered and the budget deficit is really no closer to getting fixed today than it was last November when we raised holy hell. 

So, what are we going to do about it?  Are you getting really angry yet?

REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE: TRUMP OR BECK?

Almost before the November elections were over with, speculation began about who the next Republican Presidential nominee would be.  It’s obvious that this will be a very protracted and probably ugly Presidential season, so before I get started on this post, let me be clear that I, for one, am more than sick and tired of negative campaigning.  I’m sick and tired of the name calling, denigration, talk-downs, lies, sneers, dirt throwing and outright hostilities of elections past. 

This is the way I see things on the Republican political landscape at the moment:

I like Mike Huckabee.  I did not have a favorable opinion of him in the last election.  He was unknown, he was from Arkansas, and he was referred to as “The Huckster.”  In watching his FOX show, I have definitely gained a more favorable opinion of him.  The think he would be a good President.  The only thing that is really lacking in him, I think, is fire in the belly.  He’s not an ardent, spirited, blazing-soul personality; he is very passionate in his beliefs and what he wants done for the country, but he doesn’t emanate that feeling from every pore in his body. 

I like Newt Gingrich.  He has that fiery passion.  He knows his politics.  He has the right vision for the country.  I think he’d make a damned good President.  I’m sorry about his baggage and wish we could find a way to get over it.  But, it’s there and the Democrats won’t ignore it. 

I like Sarah Palin.  She certainly is passionate and outspoken about her beliefs.  She is so very refreshing, a departure from the ugliness that Washington is mired in.  She has grown strong and is much more confident that what she says is correct.  Maybe she needs a little more seasoning, like a term as Vice President, but she is ready and would be a good President. On the other hand, the Democrats will certainly demonize her. 

A Gingrich – Palin team would be a dream ticket in my book, but I don't know that it's in the cards. 

I despise Romney.  I look at him as being a Socialist in Republican clothing.  He loves his Massachusetts Health Plan and, regardless of what he now says, he’s also in love with ObamaCare.  He is a good businessman and, in that sense may be good for the country, but overall I think a Romney Presidency would be another Obama national tragedy.  He will not get my vote; I’d vote for Obama first, and Obama is very definitely also on my despise list. 

There are some other mentionables, but I don’t see any of them as being serious candidates at this point. 

So, what about “The Donald?”  This guy knows business inside and out.  He’s an American, through and through.  He’s been on top, on the bottom and back to the top again.  He has a good, strong vision for America and is a no nonsense leader.  He’s well spoken and fiery.  The only drawback I see with Trump is his lack of insider political savvy, but that in and of itself is also refreshing.  I think he’d be a terrific President. 

Did I mention Glenn Beck?  Could it be that his decision to close down his FOX TV show at the end of the year is positioning him for a run for the Presidency?  He has said, from time to time, that maybe he should get involved in public office.  He has a huge following, is well spoken, is passionate about his beliefs, and is an American through and through.  His life experiences contribute significantly to his qualifications for the office and I think he’d be a good President as well. 

Maybe Donald and Glenn could be on the same ticket?  If they win, Donald could Trump dumb legislation and Glenn would be at our Beck and call.  Yeah, I like that.

IS AMERICA GOING TO HELL IN A HAND BASKET?

It just seems that there are so many things going on in the world that involve America; these are things that would test the mettle of even the best of Presidents, and here we are stuck with an Obama. 

There’s the horrible, horrible ongoing situation in Japan.  There’s Iraq and Afghanistan and now Libya, with events boiling over in Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Pakistan and Jordan.  Then there is the growing program for nuclear weapons in Iran and, of course, North Korea.  Here at home, we have a struggling economy, high unemployment, massive debt, tons of housing foreclosures, escalating energy costs, illegal immigration issues and the threat of domestic terrorism. 

With all of these things being listed, it seems as if we have barely scratched the surface.  To make matters worse, we as a nation are now more attuned to what is going on with our country.  The major surprise of the day is that, faced with a tight and ominous deadline on the FY2011 budget, Obama did not take the day off and go play golf.   

It has become apparent that our President does not deal with such matters until his back is literally to the wall.  That fact drives most of us nuts.  He is not proactive, but he is not reactive either.  Perhaps the only thing that matters to him is his far left-wing agenda, an agenda currently on hold due to the many other interruptions.  Whatever it is, his perceived procrastination on so many matters of national and international urgency is causing other nations to wonder where America’s leadership has gone.    

Is America going to hell in a hand basket?  If so, what do we do about it?  

We are all so sick and tired of hearing, on a daily basis, what sad shapes our nation and the world are really in.  We are weary of hearing B.S. explanations and spins from the White House.  We've had it up to our necks with the Congressional carping and whining.  

Something has to give soon.

YES I'M A TEA PARTY MEMBER!  YES I WANT THIS COUNTRY BACK ON THE ROAD TO FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY! 

TO YOU MEMBERS OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WHO DID NOT GET THE MESSAGE IN NOVEMBER:  

CUT the damned spending and TRIM the damned deficit or get the hell out now.  

YOU had your chance to do the budget last year when you were in charge of both Houses and the White House.  You didn't.  So we know where the real blame belongs. And take your damned bellyaching and threats and stick them where the sun doesn't shine.

DEMOCRATS THROW TANTRUM, MAKE UGLY THREATS

You know, I think the Congressional Democrats have finally and really pushed my button. 

Faced with the fact that we may have a government shutdown and that they will take the blame for it after trying unsuccessfully to shift it to the Republicans, the dumb shits have now responded by saying that the military will not get paid during the shutdown.  This is an outrageous, despicable, very mean spirited statement to make and obviously again designed to make the Republicans look like the bad guys.  

This country is in deep financial trouble, and these guys not only have not gotten the message, but they do not give a damn.  For them, it's politics as usual and they don't care what your grandkids are going to face.  They are willing to scare our men and women who are in Iraq and Afghanistan about being paid in order to play their dirty politics.  They are as worthless as tits on a boar hog and they need to be castrated before they multiply.

7.5 MILLION TIMES LEGAL RADIATION LIMIT!

Radioactive iodine at 7.5 times the legal limit has been detected in seawater near the Fukushima Nuclear Plant, according to the LOS ANGELES TIMES.   Government officials yesterday created a "new legal limit" for radioactivity in fish, but even that new legal limit has been exceeded in some fish caught.  

In the meanwhile, radioactive Cesium is spreading throughout China.

UGLY JAPANESE NUCLEAR SAGA CONTINUES

Contaminated water in and around the Fukushima plant is preventing workers from reconnecting and powering up all systems, systems needed to start cooling the nuclear reactors.  Because containment vessels are full, they had to drain 10,000 tons of water above and beyond what is leaking into the ocean to make room for more cooling water to be sprayed on the junk heap. 

Efforts over the weekend to clog the existing leak with a special polymer, sawdust and even shredded newspapers failed to slow the flow at a cracked concrete maintenance pit near the shoreline. The water in that leak contains radioactive iodine at rates 10,000 times the legal limit. 

Radioactive Cesium is reaching China.  The levels of radiation continue to be elevated in the U.S., particularly along the West Coast. It appears that less and less information is being released on any of these issues.

UNION THUGS ARE BACK

The news that Wisconsin public service unions are boycotting and threatening Madison businesses who do not come out in support of the unions against the new state law there is reminiscent of the old days when they literally beat people to death to get their ways.  Indeed, there have been threats to do bodily harm, yelling and protests outside the houses of government officials, and in-your-face intimidation at every level.   The unions almost sound as bad as the Democratic Party screaming and yelling at the Tea Parties.    

It’s not difficult to imagine Nancy Pelosi standing with the S.E.I.U. and screaming at the top of her lungs to the rest of America, “You will do as I say.” 

We all know that America is in deep financial trouble.  All government bodies are facing severely declining revenues and increasing demands for social services; ObamaCare will push many states over the edge of financial oblivion.  The rest of America is facing high unemployment and lower wages, losing houses, cars and in some cases whole families over financial stress.  Yet, the unions don’t seem to give one iota; they have theirs, and they’ll be damned if they’ll give it up. 

Their answer is for government to raise taxes so they can keep their wages and benefits; in other words, you and I are supposed to be the suckers. 

In Wisconsin, even those who merely contributed to the governor in his election campaign have been targeted by unions with bully tactics. 

Let me say that I do not believe that every union member is a thug.  But, most of their leaders and organizers are.  It is tempting to say that they must be involved with organized crime and, of course, they certainly have been in the past.  To them, it’s not what the country needs or what the majority of Americans feel; those things are the least of their concerns. 

To that extent, you must agree, they are not really Americans at all.  They are only thugs.  It’s time they got put in their collective places.

Things continue to get worse in Japan.  Yesterday, a blue glow started to show above Fukushima’s Reactor #1.  This appears to indicate that some uncontrolled reaction, undoubtedly associated with radiation spikes, is taking place within the plant.  Finally, Japan is asking other nations for help. 

We must continue to keep our wits about us and to keep track of the radiation levels in our country.

• Reactor 3: Damage to the core from cooling problems. Building holed by gas blast; containment damage possible. Spent fuel pond partly refilled with water after running low. Radioactive water detected in reactor and basement

• Reactor 4: Reactor shut down prior to quake. Fires and explosion in spent fuel pond; water level partly restored

• Reactors 5 & 6: Reactors shut down. Temperature of spent fuel pools now lowered after rising high

Radiation levels continue to rise dramatically both in and around the plant.  Radiation has made its way well into the Japanese food chain, in milk and cattle. 

Radiation levels in the Pacific Northwest remain slightly elevated, with the levels in New Hampshire and the Denver area being the highest in the nation and the highest in at least recent weeks.   Prices for radiation monitors and detectors have soared from a normal $450 to $550 to well over $2,000 for the same products.  Several companies have stopped accepting orders due to enormous backlogs, but the nagging question is: What direction would you head in if you discovered high levels of radiation in your backyard?
