THE OMINOUS SILENCE

Remember that big meeting that was supposed to take place last Thursday at the White House between Congressional leaders and kingpins of the DOJ and FBI about getting documents to Congressional committees?  

Why haven't we heard a peep... not the slightest peep... about it since? 

It's almost as bad as the blank stares I get when I ask what happened to all of that dough in the Clinton Foundation.

IMPEACH BOTH TRUMP AND SESSIONS?

As a matter of fact, the temperature in my house has from from hot to boiling mad.  

As we know, our government has been dysfunctional for decades, manifesting itself in the ugly crime and corruption of the Obama years.  We all decided in November of 2016 that we had had enough and that it was time, as Trump said, to drain the swamp.  For the purpose of this post, I'm going to set aside my displeasure with the absurd, virulent and nasty obstruction of the Congressional Democrats and the RINO Republicans, and I'm going to focus on the Department of Justice and the FBI.  These are the two agencies charged with maintaining law and order in the country.  

It can no longer be contested: The Obama administration used these two agencies to protect Hillary Clinton, to further Clinton's and the "deep state's" political ambitions, to  infiltrate and spy upon the Trump campaign and report back to Obama and Clinton as to what was going on for political purposes, and to cover up their own misdeeds once the election destroyed their chances of permanently taking charge and control of the country.  

Thanks to Judicial Watch and a few other investigative reporters, documents and testimony relating to those misdeeds slowly started to ooze out and Congressional Committees started to take an interest, demanding more and more documents to try and get to the bottom of what still appears to be a bottomless pit.  But, the FBI and the DOJ, still obviously loyal to and under the control of Obama and Clinton, has flatly refused to cooperate.  Whenever they have produced documents, they've either been heavily redacted or incomplete.  They've alleged several times that documents or emails were mysteriously missing, only to have them later "appear."  They've ignored subpoenas and even their own stated deadlines to produce information. 

It was only within the last week or so, after President Trump appeared to lay down the gauntlet, that they agreed to meet with Congressional representatives and to produce the requested documents last Thursday.  This was done under threat of direct Presidential action.   

So, they met.  They brought no documents, but they did bring plenty of lip service.  

Who's in charge of the DOJ... KIM JONG UN?  

The guy in charge is the Attorney General of the United States.  If the President refuses to fire him, both the President and the Attorney General should be impeached!  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, and it's time we did something besides talking about it!

CONGRESS IS FULL OF "ANIMALS" TOO

There's been a lot of newsprint and media gargling over President Trump's calling MS-13 gang members "animals."  But, I submit to you that Congress is full of animals itself.  

MS-13 members plunder, rape and kill with their hands.  Members of Congress plunder, rape and kill with their words and deeds.  By their obstruction and their failure to do their jobs, they are plundering, raping, and killing Democracy and our Constitutional form of government... and both Republicans and Democrats are responsible for it.  

The blood of our forefathers was spent to protect our democratic republic for posterity.  Perhaps they would have felt differently about it if they had been able to foretell how we would allow our government to erode the principals of freedom and justice for all.  

How we respond during the November elections to the challenges facing us in this country has never been more important to the preservation of our ways of life.

DEEP STATE ESTABLISHMENT ASSERTS POWER

Former Secretary of State John Kerry has laid down the gauntlet to President Trump, warning that neither he or the Democrats will tolerate any more of Trump's America First agenda... period.  John Brennan, former Director of the CIA, upon hearing of Trump's demand that the DOJ investigate whether or not various Obama administration intelligence agencies infiltrated and spied on the Trump Presidential Campaign, fired off a blustering demand to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan demanding that they put Trump on a leash immediately, (or face the unfortunate consequences, I presume.)  Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the principal current establishment lackey, has stood squarely in the way of any current administration attempt to bring American justice to the wrongdoings of the Obama dynasty.  

For their parts, Ryan and McConnell have proven themselves to be Republicans in name only by refusing to support President Trump's agenda and, by all appearances, colluding to make his initiatives fail.  The so-called Republican Congress has allowed both "leaders" to have free reign over Congressional actions, sabotaging the border wall, avoiding the repeal of ObamaCare, failing in moving the approval of Trump nominations, foisting a huge spending budget on America, failing to pass the Farm Bill and shirking their Constitutional duties to God and country.  

The FBI and the DOJ have defiantly refused to produce documents relative to Obama-era mischief to Congressional oversight committees or any court charged with deciding the outcomes of relevant litigations.  Every effort has been made by the Justice Department, and Jeff Sessions in particular, to protect Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and other members of the "Establishment."  Sessions has stonewalled any attempt by Congress or Trump to initiate a new Special Counsel to look into the many Clinton law-breaking activities.  Robert Mueller has been successful in holding the Trump White House hostage to his endless farce of an investigation into "Russian collusion."  

In response to Truimp's demands for an investigation into probable spying on his campaign, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein assigned the DOJ Inspector General to investigate; the IG has no authority to subpoena former government employees, such as Comey, Brennan, Clapper or McCabe, who could shed light on the issues.  

And the American press and media compound the issue by refusing to report the truth to the American people.  

The "Deep State Establishment" is riding the black horse of the American apocalypse, determined to run President Trump and American democracy firmly into the ground.

NO KILLING GUNMAN GAVES A DAMN ABOUT THE LAW

Somehow, the country has come to believe that it is possible to write some law that will stop violent crime and, in particular, killing by guns, knives or bows and arrows.  Let's get one thing straight in our minds: once a criminal decides to commit a crime, he/she doesn't give a rat's fanny about what the law says.  Once they decide to go packing their weapons of destruction into a crowded movie theater or a school building, no law... no law... is going to stop them. 

It's been proven in country after country and jurisdiction after jurisdiction that oppressive gun laws, banning guns or even confiscation of guns does not stop gun crimes.  

The answer is that we have to remove the predilection or inclination for criminal activity, whether it be shoplifting or mass school shootings, or anywhere in between.      

I was brought up to believe that if you committed any crime, you were not only going to be punished, you were going to be ostracized or shunned by your friends and by society in general.  Even if you were rehabilitated, you would no longer be trusted.   What's worse, when you got to the cemetery you would have to face God's wrath.  

So, what has changed? 

We don't take our kids to church or have them read from the Bible anymore.  We don't sit at the dinner table and thank God for what we are about to eat anymore.   We have broken families, leaving the structure out of family units.  We don't demand that our children be the best that they can be at anything anymore; if they do less than they are capable of, we simply shrug our shoulders and flip the channel.  We tolerate the breakdown of society by glorifying drug abuse.  Hedonism has replaced God.  

We don't have a gun problem in this country.  We can't write enough laws to correct the real problems.  What we do have to accomplish is that we have to get back to the God-fearing days about every facet of our lives.  We have to insist on the straight and narrow and we have to seek out and repair the cracks in the foundations of our lives that allow evil to creep in.

REELECT NO ONE

I'm really disappointed that the people we elect to run this country on The Hill in Washington don't recognize the fact that we sent them there to do what's best for the  country, not to do what's best for their own pocketbook or other self-interests.  I'm also disappointed that the message we sent out load and clear when we elected Donald J. Trump to the Presidency fell on totally deaf ears...

We've got 535 elected representatives in the halls of Congress; yet, only a handful of them are stepping up to the plate.  We've got a majority of Republicans in the House and Senate who simply refuse to stand up for the President WE elected and who is from their same party.  Take a guy like Doug LaMalfa from California.  He's a decent enough guy and has a lot of great ideas, but why hasn't he stuck his neck out and vocally supported his President who, as we all know, is facing unprecedented opposition from every corner of the country except from the people who voted for him?  

We don't have a border wall because of Congress.  We still have ObamaCare because of Congress.  We haven't resolved the illegal immigration problem in this country over the decades because of Congress.  And, it's not just the obstructionist Democrats who are to blame; it's the "shut up and sit down" Republicans who bob and weave, shuck and duck and do nothing.  

Folks, it's now election season and will be for the next six months.  We need to be seriously looking at whether or not we should be voting to return an incumbent... any incumbent... to office.  Frankly, and I don't think you can disagree... they all suck.

THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY

I don't think there's a one of us who is happy with the way our country is today... except those who are deliberately trying to destroy it.  

We have, through our own negligence, allowed circumstances to come into existence that are eroding the foundations upon which this country was built.  We are no longer a country which strives for excellence; indeed, the mediocre seems to be just fine with us.  So, for example, we don't reward outstanding achievement in schools or in sports.  A service organization I belong to recently decided it would like to honor an outstanding teacher in a local school.  The school turned the offer down because... it didn't want to make the rest of the teachers feel bad.  The school felt that instead of encouraging other teachers to do better, it would create discord within among the school staff.  

So it is that we allow those who have never put on a military uniform to dictate the terms under which we can fight one.  Although the enemy seeks to lop off our heads and burn them in a fire pit, we think it is cruel and unusual punishment to waterboard them until they tell us where their accomplices are hiding.  When terrorists hijack planes and fly them into buildings killing 3,000 people, we get very angry; but we won't allow TSA agents to question someone who looks like a terrorist and acts like a terrorist because that's akin to racial profiling.  And, if a guy who comes from a poor family and works his tail off to get an education, and invents something good for the benefit of mankind, we want to take away his profits through taxation as a punishment for his success.  

When it comes to our government, we send people to Congress not on the basis of their patriotism or their ability to do the job, but because they have a nice-sounding name or a slick advertising campaign.  We then scream bloody murder when they become corrupt or they don't vote for the things we need in this country... and we cap it off by reelecting them year after year after year.

Don't you think it's time we stepped up to the plate and did something constructive for a change?  Only we, the people, can alter the course of our country.  

Now is the time to get started.

WHORES AND PIMPS: DESPICABLE, USELESS, ANTI-AMERICAN PRESS AND MEDIA

The NEW DORK TIMES was hollering loud and clear: While President Trump was announcing the U.S. was pulling out of the Iran Nuclear "deal," Trump's newly-confirmed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was nowhere to be seen.  When Pompeo returned to the U.S. with three Americans who had spent years behind North Korea's prison walls, NBC News "star" Hallie Jackson screamed that the whole rescue operation was a “very carefully choreographed, staged production meant for television.”  

The BIG "news" last week was that Melania Trump had moved out of the White House over the Stormy Daniels allegations.  That "news" was trumpeted around the media to the obvious exclusion of the real news about the economy and declining unemployment.  Indeed, the media and press expended far more newsprint on Obama's anger over the U.S. pulling out of his beloved Iran "deal" than it did on the news that Iran had launched rocket attacks on Israel in the Golan Heights.  

The fact is that we do not have a free press in this country.  Our press and media have become  wholly-owned subsidiaries of the George Soros' Socialist-Progressive Party.  Either George Soros has taken strong ownership positions in these outlets, or they have collectively sold their souls... and America... down the drain.  

If ever there was an argument to abolish "freedom of the press" in this country, today's press and media have strongly made that argument.  As far as I am concerned, they've become nothing more than whores and pimps for the nation's enemies.

OBAMA IS STILL PRESIDENT

Obama's operatives are still in charge of the government, at the DOJ, the FBI, the IRS and elsewhere.  They control most of the court system and the Congress.  Obama, Clinton and John Kerry still represent themselves to be the official leaders of the United States to every country in the world, going so far as to make trips abroad and to engage in foreign policy.  

Trump is only a temporary figurehead, ensnared by his enemies.  Our vote didn't change a damned thing. 

That's why we need to take the bull by the horns and vote out every incumbent, regardless of party.  We have to be the ones to clean this mess up.

SO, WE LET THE CARAVAN IN ANYWAY

There was all of this huffing and puffing about protecting the borders.  We were going to build a wall and stop illegals, drugs and cartels from getting in.  Not only has that NOT happened, but there was just a huge and most meaningful showdown at the California border when the word was... "no way are they going to get in."  

Well, they're in.  

Who let them in?  Why were they let in?  What are we going to do about it?

TRUMP MUST QUIT PUSSY-FOOTING AROUND THE SWAMP

President Trump called me last night for advice on what to do with the stonewalling swamp.  I told him that just as it's been proven time and time again that the best way to deal with your enemies is from a position of strength, so it is that President Trump must deal with his political enemies in Washington just as he has with North Korea and now with Iran. 

Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray are refusing to comply with Congressional demands for documents.  Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are complicit in that they are leaving their investigating committees out there dangling on a long rope without any support whatsoever.  The American citizens are left paying the penalty, while the entrenched bureaucrats are busy hiding the evidence.  

The President needs to go to the American public and explain what damage this endless parade of confrontation is doing to his agenda and to the nation.  Then, he has to close his presentation  by announcing the firing of Sessions, Rosenstein and Wray, and he has to give Mueller just 30 days to make a case to the American people or shut down.  Finally, he has to make a statement to the effect that government employees are either with this country or they are against it, and if they are against it they had better change their attitudes or leave before their careers get tainted by being fired.  

I'm sure the Democrats, the left-wingers, the "establishment," and the "deep state" will all have intense bowel movements, but it has to happen.  The rats and the alligators will, however, either jump ship or start acting like Americans.  But if the crap doesn't come to an end soon, there's likely going to be a revolution, because we're getting absolutely sick and tired of it.

CROSSING THE STATE LINE WITH A CONCEALED GUN

For those of us who carry concealed and who have a permit in one or more states, crossing a state line can subject one to a myriad of unfamiliar laws that could land him or her in jail; it's already happened in many states.  

The House of Representatives passed a Bill last year that would provide reciprocity to concealed-carry gun owners; if I have a license to carry in California, it will be valid in any state.  The Senate, under our illustrious Mitch McConnell, has been refusing to bring the Bill up; it has to pass there and go on to the President's desk before it is signed into law.  In the meanwhile, we continue to be at severe risk. 

The chief argument against reciprocity seems to be that a fellow or gal who is not a criminal in one state, or who passes background checks and required training to carry concealed in one state, will suddenly become a criminal in the state next door... killing or maiming all kinds of innocent people and wreaking havoc in the streets.  That, of course, is absurd.  The real story is that the left-wing establishment wants to control legal guns and legal gun owners, (the illegal gun owners don't even bother to get a permit to carry).  They also want the tax and fee revenues.  

It's time to put an end to the confusion and risk; it should be legal for one who has a concealed carry permit to carry his firearm across state lines, just as it is legal for him or her to carry across county lines.
