The U.S. State Department is patting itself on the back for bringing "peace" to Syria in 2015.  “The United States and many members of the international community have stepped up to aid the Syrian people during their time of need — the United States has led the world in humanitarian aid contributions since the crisis began in 2011,” State Department spokesman John Kirby said in the department’s official blog.

Deputy State Department spokesman Mark Toner defended the claim during a Monday press briefing, stating that “the operative word there is bringing, not brought, so we’re bringing peace and security to Syria.”

Now, doesn't that hyperbole just frost the legs off a lizard?  

I guess I should have expected it.  Remember that John Kerry claimed he received dozens of Purple Hearts and Bronze Stars for his service in Viet Nam.

TAKING IT OUT ON COPS

Granted, there are cops in this country who shouldn't be in their jobs and some of them belong in nut houses.  The latest shootings of two in Chicago exemplifies that: a 19-year-old armed only with a baseball bat was fatally shot and an innocent 55-year-old grandmother was also fatally shot.  The cops say the young man was being "combative," but the simple rule of firearms is that you can only shoot if someone's life is in danger and then... only until the threat is mitigated.  

Why do you need to shoot dead a kid with a baseball bat?   On top of that, the guy was known to have mental problems.   

As for the grandmother, shooting her was "accidental."  There has been little information released to the public about how the shooting happened, but city officials are apologizing.  

I think we will all agree that there have been some pretty bad shootings by cops in the country this year.  Many of them defy common sense police tactics; many of them border on the verge of outright murder.  

None of that, however, justifies painting cops with a broad brush of guilt-by-association.  Just because there are bad cops in Chicago doesn't mean there are bad cops in Oakland or anywhere else.  And it seems to me that some cops who were totally in the right have been wrongly accused.  There also seems to me to be a growing attitude in this country that all cops are bad cops, so it is no wonder that cops sense they have lost the support and backing of politicians and citizens.  

Is anybody in her or her right mind going to lay their life on the line for a city or town whose support will vanish into thin air at the slightest provocation, justifiable or not? 

We as a nation need to tackle this problem head-on in 2016.  We need better dialogue between cops and their employees, better relations between cops and citizens, and we need to keep Obama and his racist, anti-gun, anti-cop agenda out of the equation.

TELLING IT LIKE IT IS

I guess we can draw a deep breath... we managed to get through Christmas without a terrorist incident in the United States.  But, I suspect that most of us expected another shoe to drop at any moment and that, at least in the backs of our minds, we were fearful whenever we turned to a news channel during the holidays.  

What a way to live.  

I don't know about you, but I heard two messages during this holiday, one being that we need to get used to losing some freedoms and having some security-type intrusions and inconveniences in our lives; the other being that it we'd better not even think about increasing our surveillance of the Muslim communities or mosques in the U.S.  In other words, we need to expect to have our lives and freedoms disrupted by radical Muslim terrorism, but we'd damned-well better not infringe on the Muslims.  

In the first place, it occurs to me that 99% of the terrorist acts in this world are carried out by Muslims.  Muslims live in Muslim communities and associate among themselves in Mosques.  Don't look at me and have the gall to tell me that we have no right to increase surveillance of Muslim activities and communities in this country because it is not politically correct.  We have every right to know what is going on in our country everywhere, at all times.  

If the government is going to listen to my conversations, they'd damned well better be listening to Muslims.  If they are going to pat me down at the airport, they'd better be patting down Muslims as well.  

Furthermore, Obama and his zombies have no right to tell me I cannot protect myself.  Given the circumstances, we Americans should have every right to own guns, to carry loaded guns on our persons, in our homes, in our cars, at the malls and wherever we go.  Every time there's a terrorist attack in our homeland, we get told to disarm ourselves.  That's bull and we all know it. 

And if our political leaders are content to smile at us and tell us to get used to it... they need to be replaced, pronto.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

WILL HAMAS JOIN I.S.I.S.?

Hamas, and Salafists in the Gaza Strip who adhere to the ideology of the Islamic State are in the process of negotiating a cold truce that would see jailed Salafists released from Hamas prisons in exchange for a cessation of rocket fire from Gaza.  

Could this be a prelude to an alliance between Hamas and I.S.I.S.?  

Whatever it means, I do not see any... not one... ray of sunshine in the Middle East or anywhere in the rest of the world regarding I.S.I.S.  At any other time in our history, our president would be in Washington attending to the urgent business of terrorism as opposed to being in Hawaii on a golf course.

JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS: RULING AGAINST RELIGIOUS RIGHTS

A Massachusetts State Court in Boston has ruled that Fontbonne Academy, a Catholic girl's school, MUST hire a gay man.   

The conservative website National Review excoriated the judge for his ruling.  “By that standard, expressive association becomes meaningless. After all, if a court can jam Christian employers with employees who don’t share their values – and then contend that the employers’ rights are protected if they’re still free to complain about it – then the floodgates are open.”

The government now controls religious thoughts and beliefs in this country.  What's worse, religious institutions are sitting by and allowing it to happen.

THE REAL DANGER WITHIN

"United we stand, divided we fall."  By now, that phrase should be engraved in your heart and soul; although Patrick Henry was the first to use those exact words, it goes back to Biblical days in varied forms.  

And therein lies the problem we face as a nation today, particularly when it comes to the threat of terrorism on our soil.  Obama and his minions have divided this country into so many fractions, there can be no doubt that their mantra is to "divide and conquer."  They've created so many and countless divisions... white vs. black, Christians vs. Muslims, rich vs. poor, left vs. right, cops vs. the rest of us... there's not enough room on the Internet to list all of their disunions.  

How can we possibly win in the war against terrorism when we can't stand or trust our neighbor?  We have become so weakened by our divided selves that I don't think we stand a chance against any real threat, let alone the ominous threats of terrorism and fascism knocking on our doors.  

This country desperately needs a strong leader, one who can unite us and incite us into the cohesive strength which we as a nation must re-acquire in order to overcome the litany of transgressions against our fundamental beliefs... the very things which once made us the greatest nation on the face of the earth.

CONGRESS FUNDS MUSLIM MIGRATION

The new House Speaker, Paul Ryan, engineered and got passed a $1.1 trillion omnibus bill in which every Senator's and every Representative's personal, pork-filled wish-list got fulfilled.  

It's sickening.  

Beyond that, it includes funding for 300,000 visas for Muslim immigrants for next year alone.  No particular provisions for "vetting," either.  


Who in the Sam Hell do those bastards think they are?

ARE WE ON THE VERGE OF REVOLUTION?

Pat Caddell recently came out and said what I have been contemplating for several weeks:  We're closer to another American Revolution right now than at any time in history. “The strength of this country comes from its people and it has a political system that is run, now, to the exclusion of its people … you have three quarters of the American people saying the government in Washington does not rule with the consent of the governed,” he told BREITBART NEWS.  

In talking about the recent budget deal reached by Congress, for example, “By the time you get through this bill, every special interest will have been paid off.  Everyone will have done what they wanted to do. The Republicans … will have sold everything out to please the oil companies.”  He also chastised Republican presidential candidates for not saying anything about it in the recent debate, expressing his frustration that the issue doesn’t seem to be being addressed by any candidates.  

We Americans, the ones who have been around longer than 25 or 30 years, are sick and tired of the proliferation of manure that is continually flowing out of the smoke-filled chambers in Washington.  We're sick and tired of our wide-open borders and politicians who swear they are going to fix the problem, until they get elected and join "the establishment."  We're sick and tired of promises to quit spending, while both political parties are cutting deals in the back room to ensure that they all get what they want.  We're sick and tired of the endless regulation that is killing our jobs, our businesses and our spirits.  

Not only are we very much afraid of what the advent of terrorism brings to this country, but we are stricken with paralyzing fear when we contemplate what our government has become.  

2016 is going to be a bloodbath of revolution at the polls...  a bloodbath transcending all parties and all elected positions.  We're sick and tired of it and we will show no mercy.

GUN CONTROL: UP YOURS, BARACK

For the first time, recent polls show that the majority of Americans are against banning assault weapons.  Gun sales are booming, reaching record highs.  

It seems to me that Americans are voting their disdain for Obama's vision of national security by heading for the gun shops and ranges.  Seventy-seven percent of Americans feel that the government cannot protect them against acts of terrorism.  

Now, Barack, go ahead and use your pen to issue an Executive Order establishing gun control.  Let's see where that gets you.

CLUELESS IN WASHINGTON

Washington is not in gridlock; it is paralyzed and dangerous.  

Yesterday, there was a threat against the Los Angeles Unified School District.  The conclusion, thank God, is that it was a hoax.  Right off the bat, the Monday afternoon quarterbacks lashed out against the school superintendent for closing the schools and keeping 640,000 students and 100,000 employees home.  Imagine what they'd have to say if he'd kept the schools open and there had been an attack.  

So, why did he close the schools?  From all appearances, the threat was a hoax.  The FBI and LAPD suggested it was a hoax, but he closed the schools anyway.  And herein lies my point: He was evidently afraid that the government wasn't reliable.  He was afraid that they just might be wrong about it being a hoax... How often has Obama been wrong?  What action has Congress taken on the issue?  

Why should anybody in the country trust Washington?  

Indeed, yesterday afternoon the newswires came out with the revelation that a new branch of ISIS is now activating in Afghanistan.  It is carving out territory and challenging the Taliban.  What forces we have left on the ground there are in gravely increased danger.  Obama is hellbent on increasing the danger to all of us at home by bringing in unvetted Syrian refugees, totally against the will of the American people; Congress doesn't seem to be inclined to do anything about it. 

In fact, what has Congress done about ANYTHING over the last seven years?  

Global terrorism and World War III are bombs waiting to go off and the match has actually already been lit.  But Obama is in a full campaign-mode to get his global warming agenda approved, while Congress is shaking in its boots at the prospect of a Trump presidency.  

They are all clueless. 

We have to clean house in Washington, and I simply don't think we can wait until January of 2017 to get it done.

REPUBLICANS MAY LOSE CONGRESS

Americans are not only ticked off at Obama, they are increasingly ticked off at a Republican Congress which refuses to deal appropriately and effectively with what they see as an "illegal and unconstitutional" Obama agenda.  Therefore, there is the prospect of Republicans being voted out of their jobs in Congress because they're not living up to expectations.

THE COMING WAR?

I've surely got a lot of mixed emotions as I start to write this post.  But, hopefully, it will make a point or two that will stimulate the thought processes of everyone involved.  

We are all painfully aware of the fact that radical Islamists have declared a Jihad against Americans, Christians and Jews.  And, they have been successful in carrying out scores of attacks in Europe and now in the United States, raising the fear factor to new highs.  During this "Jihad," countless Muslims living in America have kept their mouths shut, thereby implying that they condone the terrorism or, at the very least, they accept it.  

Over the weekend, someone tried to torch a mosque in Coachella, California.  There have also been other reports of vandalism against mosques around the country.  I see such activity as being reprehensible.  Whoever does these things should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law; they have become terrorists themselves, within the meaning of the word.  

Obama tells us to tone down our rhetoric against radical Islam and that we cannot speak out against Muslims.  But, Obama does NOT tell the Muslims to take a stand against radical Islam, and that is where a most forceful voice needs to originate.  

American Muslims cannot have it both ways.  Their reluctance to speak out arouses our suspicions and our fears, and our natural instinct is to defend ourselves. whatever it takes.   

We cannot help but wonder whose side American Muslims will take when our war with radical Islam really heats up.

OBAMA COVERING FOR TERRORISTS?

BREITBART.COM is reporting: "The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been accused of deleting intelligence records relating to dangerous Islamists linked to terrorists Sayed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, because they wanted to protect the 'civil liberties' of members of the caliphate-supporting network.  

A U.S. Customs and Border Patrol analyst says he was ordered to stop investigating Deobandi Islamist groups and his work on them was erased. He even says he was subjected to a disciplinary when he attempted to blow the whistle. 

Now, does that not sound like an Obama move?  I mean, isn't that the way he thinks?  

And here we sit, complacently doing what we're told to do.

IS CHICAGOLAND STARTING TO GET THE MESSAGE?

In the light of the Chicago demonstrations, I wonder if the nation's Black community is finally coming to grips with the realization that their "leaders" ... the ObamaS, Holders and Emanuels of the country... have been lying to them and have let them down just as much as they have done the same to the rest of us? 

These "saviors" have done little, if anything, to help the situation of Blacks.  In fact, with their racist rhetoric, they may well have severely hurt or even set back the improvement or advancement of Black interests.  

So, Emanuel tolerated and tried to cover up the police shootings in Chicago?  Who's side is HE on?

UNIVERSITY OKAYS CAMPUS CARRY

Liberty University in Virginia is encouraging students to get training on concealed carry of sidearms and is ending a rule which prevented students from carrying sidearms into campus residence halls in order to improve campus safety.  Students were allowed to obtain concealed carry permits under a 2011 rule, but were prevented from taking their weapons into residence halls.  

It has been widely speculated that allowing campus carry could have prevented many campus shootings including the recent one at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon.  It is beyond difficult for an unarmed person to protect himself or others against an active, armed shooter.  Terrorists and shooters with mental problems prefer "soft" targets, where they will meet with little or no armed resistance.  Security personnel at Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino were unarmed.  

Providing gun owners get training and learn basic self-defense skills, I am totally in favor of them carrying concealed weapons wherever they go.  I cannot think of any instance of a permit holder being involved in a gun crime.

SUPREME COURT GUN CONTROL

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear a Chicago-suburb gun rights case involving a ban on semi-automatic rifles, "assault" weapons and large capacity magazines.  The 2013 ordinance passed by Highland Park will remain in place.  It bans various semi-automatic weapons, including well-known guns such as the AR-15 and AK-47, in addition to magazines holding more than 10 rounds of bullets. 

Many people do not understand what "semi-automatic" means.  "Automatic" is a machine gun and they have been outlawed in this country since the 1930's.  "Semi-automatic" means you have a belt or magazine and each time you squeeze the trigger, one bullet is fired, ejected and replaced by the next bullet in line; but, you still have to squeeze the trigger again in order to fire the next round.  

The vast majority of Americans who own such guns use them for target shooting and sport.  From a self-defense standpoint, if I were faced with an armed terrorist or other active shooter, I would certainly prefer having a semi-automatic weapon in my hands.  From a Second Amendment standpoint, I fear this lack of decision by the Supreme Court signals the beginning of a long assault on the right to bear arms in this country.  

You and I both know that a terrorist or other nutcase doesn't give a hoot about whether or not his/her gun is legal or not, so this lack of decision puts the law-abiding citizen at greater risk.

OBAMA FUMBLES AGAIN

To no one's surprise, Iran has test-fired another medium-range ballistic missile, this one capable of carrying a nuclear warhead 1,200 or more miles.  The test took place November 21st near Chabahar and violates at least two United Nations sanctions.    

Now here's the big problem.  According to the Iran Nuclear "Deal," Iran has given up its ability to produce any nuclear weapons for ten years.  So, if you can't produce nuclear weapons, why do you need a missile that will carry a nuclear weapon?  

And why did it take three weeks for the news to ooze out?  You can bet that our satellites detected the launch of the missile within seconds.  What is Obama going to do about it... ask for that $150 billion back?  

This is serious stuff going on in serious times.  It is no laughing matter.

OMINOUS

Seventy-four years ago, Japan struck Pearl Harbor with a vengeance that certainly "has lived on in the annals of American history."  The circumstances leading up to that horrible attack were eerily similar to where we find ourselves today.  

The Germans were on a horrible march in Europe, killing all Jews along the way.  The Italians and the Japanese were plunging through Asia and joining Germany in Europe and Russia.  Today, Al Qaeda is striking in Yemen, Libya and Africa.  I.S.I.S. controls much of Syria, Iraq and Iran and is attacking as far away as Europe.  Both organizations are waging a relentless war to kill Christians and Jews and to impose Sharia law on the entire planet.  

We seemed oblivious to the fact that World War II was imminent.  It was, after all, Europe's war and not ours.  Today, our president is proclaiming I.S.I.S. to be "contained" and the biggest danger to the world to be global warming, oblivious to the fact that if humanity is dead, global warming won't make a difference.   He assures us that we do not need to be afraid, even alleging that everything here in the U.S. is perfectly okay... just moments before the attack in San Bernardino.  

Yesterday, two major disclosures came along: (1) our president admitted the "possibility" that San Bernardino involved terrorists, but insisted that gun control would solve the problem and, (2) the Air Force said it is running out of bombs to use against I.S.I.S. and that we don't have enough money or resources to replace them.  

In the same breath, liberals of the country tell Americans they are stupid for praying and weak-kneed for being afraid. 

 Are we going to be complacent and content to continue to "dumb down and shut up?"  Is this the "fundamental change" that Americans are destined to suffer?

THE UGLY TRUTH

On Friday’s Breitbart News Daily (6AM-9AM EST) on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, former FBI counter-terrorism Special Agent John Guandolo argued that the “vast majority” of the 2,200 Islamic organizations, centers, and mosques in the United States are a part of a broader “Jihadi network” intent on imposing Sharia Law in America. 

There it is... the truth that nobody wants... or dares... to repeat.

SICK, SICK, SICK

The last shot had not yet been fired when Barack Hussein Obama took to the airwaves and blamed every gun owner in the country for the ongoing shooting tragedy in San Bernardino.  By yesterday morning, the vitriol from the Democrats, the liberal left and the Hillary camp was beyond any semblance of propriety.  

A New York newspaper came out and said that "God isn't fixing this,"  thereby blaming Christians and Jews across the country and asserting that there is no God.  Harry Reid blamed the shootings on the Republicans and the NRA.  Hillary Clinton made it clear that law-abiding gun owners throughout the country must have their guns taken away from them because... they did it.    And although every early indication was that the shootings were terrorist-inspired, that angle was covered up by "political correctness."  

The prolific bullshit keeps on, and on, and on... The Democrats are bound and determined to disarm Americans and to leave us at the mercy of the Muslim terrorists. How DARE they tell me that there is no God or that if there is, He is to blame because he's not fixing things.  How DARE they tell me that Republicans are to blame, or that the NRA is to blame, or that every gun owner in the country is to blame.  

The real blame lies in the hands and twisted minds of those who keep spewing out hatred and viciousness and refusing to sit down at the table to discuss and address the underlying causes.  Those are the people who refuse to utter the words "radical Islamic terrorists," who insist on allowing more terrorists to enter the United States under the guise of "refugees," and those who fail to attack and destroy terrorism until it migrates from the Middle East to our cities and towns in America.  

What a bunch of sickos.

STATUE OF LIBERTY IS MUSLIM

The Smithsonian Museum is claiming that the woman depicted by the Statue of Liberty is a Muslim woman.  It appears that the designer, Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi, visited Egypt in 1855 with the intent of creating a statue of an Egyptian woman for that country.  The statue was intended to be an 86-foot tall veiled and robed statue of a woman perched at the entrance of the Suez Canal, but it was too expensive. 

Barthold then collaborated with structural designer Alexandre-Gustav Eiffel and redesigned the project to create the Statue of Liberty which was gifted by France to the United States.  

For the Smithsonian to come forth and claim that the Lady of Liberty is Muslim sounds to me like a concoction of Barack Hussein Obama's.  It would be a stretch to say that the original Egyptian woman was not only a Muslim, but that she was the same model used for the Statue of Liberty.  

The next thing we know, they're going to claim that the presidents of Mount Rushmore were all Muslim Imams.

CONGRESS WILL APPROVE SYRIAN REFUGEES

On December 11th, Congress will vote on a "catch all" omnibus bill which will include funding for Obama's refugee resettlement program, according to WND.com.  "In that bill there is expected to be full funding of President Obama’s refugee resettlement program, which costs $1.2 billion annually to bring in 85,000 refugees from more than two dozen countries around the world. About half of them will come from countries with active jihadist movements including 10,000 from Syria, about 8,000 from Somalia, nearly 10,000 from Iraq, and several thousand more from Burma, Uzbekistan, Bosnia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Afghanistan.

"The United Nations will choose which refugees from what countries get to come to America at the U.S. taxpayer’s expense. The nationalities of these refugees will be concealed in most cases until after they arrive in the more than 180 cities and towns across the U.S."  

The recently enacted SAFE Act will do absolutely nothing to stop unvetted Syrian refugees from coming to the United States.  This is all more smoke and mirrors on the part of Congress and Obama. The only possible chance of stopping it is for you and me to contact our Representatives and Senators and to tell them in no uncertain terms that their asses will be grass in November of 2016 if they allow this to happen.

SPEAK FOR YOURSELF, BARACK

Here's the text of Obama's message about the Colorado Springs shooting spree:  

"The last thing Americans should have to do, over the holidays or any day, is comfort the families of people killed by gun violence – people who woke up in the morning and bid their loved ones goodbye with no idea it would be for the last time.

"And yet, two days after Thanksgiving, that’s what we are forced to do again.

"We don’t yet know what this particular gunman’s so-called motive was for shooting 12 people, or for terrorizing an entire community, when he opened fire with an assault weapon and took hostages at a Planned Parenthood center in Colorado. What we do know is that he killed a cop in the line of duty, along with two of the citizens that police officer was trying to protect. We know that law enforcement saved lives, as so many of them do every day, all across America. And we know that more Americans and their families had fear forced upon them.

"This is not normal. We can’t let it become normal. If we truly care about this – if we’re going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience — then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them. Period. Enough is enough.

"May God bless officer Garrett Swasey and the Americans he tried to save – and may He grant the rest of us the courage to do the same thing."

Your speech, Baracko, is berserko.  

For years now you have been saying that you want MY guns.  I've had guns all of my life and I've yet to shoot a single soul.  The only reason you want MY guns is that you want to disarm me.  You want to disarm me so you can control me and take my liberties away from me... or have your radical Muslim buddies do it for you.  

Otherwise, I would presume that a man of your superior intellect and your prestigious university degrees would have come up with a solution to the REAL problem about guns... allowing them into the hands of criminals and crackpots.  

So, Barcko, you can say what you want about not wanting to confiscate our guns; your actions, or lack thereof, speak for themselves.
