So, they "captured" Ahmed Abu Khatallah.  Oh, my!  They way they're hyping it, you'd swear the guy was a bigger fish than Osama Bin Laden.  The media and the press have been in full awe over the fact that Obama's Administration hauled in this "Benghazi Mastermind."  

The fact is, this terrorist "kingpin" who has eluded capture for two years, has been sitting in Benghazi squares giving interviews to any reporter who happened along; most of America's press and media have interviewed him at least once.  So... Why didn't we nab the guy months ago?  Could it be that intelligence officials recognized him for what he is, a blustering, braggadocio nobody? 

It's almost as if federal stormtroopers invaded a matinee in a downtown Chicago movie house, captured Mickey Mouse and announced to the world that they had Al Capone.  Why the big production and why now? 

Have you noticed that the press and media have gone chasing after this story like rabid dogs on a fox hunt?  In the meanwhile, press investigative reporting on the V.A. scandal, the progress of ObamaCare, the Benghai cover-up, the I.R.S. missing emails... they've all but disappeared.  Could that be a coincidence?  

This "terrorist murderer" is even a smaller player to the Benghazi story than Joe Biden is to the White House.

FIGHTING THE OBAMA REGIME

Let' see...

• January 2009, former ACORN, re-invented as the "Community Stabolization Find," was slated under the Obama stimulus plan to receive $4.2 billion.  
• Then, in July of 2009, the ObamaCare lies started, lies that were immediately reputed but which later turned out to be very true.  In August of 2009, Obama told those of us who were against his plan to "shut up and get out of the way."  
• In October of 2009, a ban against funding ACORN or its affiliates expired and was never renewed. By this time, it was well-established that ACORN had been a political arm of of the Obama campaign and had broken countless laws in most states. 
• In November of 2009, The White House touted "exciting statistics" showing that Obama's Economic Stimulus was achieving unbelievable results, even in Congressional Districts that do not exist.  
• In March of 2010, the Democrat-controlled House vote to approve ObamaCare by voice vote, refusing to have a roll call where the citizens could determine who actually voted for it.  The legislation was subsequently signed into law, against the overwhelming majority of the American people. 
• In May 2010, the BP-ARCO Gulf Oil Spill occurred and Obama refused to act on the emergency situation until public opinion had his back to the wall. 
• In July 2010, the Administration shut 73,000 blogs off the Internet without any due process whatsoever.  
• In August of 2010, Obama came out firmly in favor of building a Muslim Mosque virtually next door to the World Trade Center 9/11 disaster site; the government was in the process of approving Federal grant funding to support the project.
• In November of 2010, Americans stood up and announced their displeasure with what was going on by firmly turning control of the House over to the Republicans. 
• In December 2010, Obama started issuing ObamaCare waivers to major corporations which had supported his election and to various union organizations....a process that would eventually lead to middle-income Americans as being the sole responsible parties for funding and signing up for ObamaCare. 
• In March of 2011, the Fast & Furious scandal broke; Attorney General Holder would eventually be found in Contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate with Congress and Obama would cover his butt by invoking "Executive Privilege." 
• In April of 2011, Standard & Poors lowered its credit rating for the U.S. in the face of White House opposition; Obama subsequently sicked Holder and the DOJ on Standard & Poors in retaliation.  Obama also moved to send U.S. troops and assistance into Libya in violation of the U.S. Constitution requiring Congressional approval. 
• On September 11, 2011. terrorists attacked the U.S. Consulate at Benghazi; Obama has been covering up and stonewalling over the deaths of four great Americans ever since.  
• In October of 2011, the White House made it abundantly clear that it was not going to enforce U.S. immigration laws; this in direct violation of Obama's oath to uphold and enforce the laws of the U.S.  This has lead directly to today's horrible border crisis.  It also became known that Solyndra, an upstart solar energy company which had contributed heavily to Obama, was defaulting on over $535 million if federal loan guarantees arranged by the Administration.  Another stonewall was initiated.  
• In January 2012, Obama did an end-run around the Senate and appointed three members to the National Labor Relations Board in the fact of heavy opposition; that maneuver was held by the Supreme Court last week to be an abuse of power. 
• In May 2012, it because known that Obama had been secretly releasing Taliban prisoners from Guantanamo in the hopes ghat such releases would improve our relations with the Taliban.  He more recently exchanged five top Taliban prisoners for one U.S. deserter in direct violation of a Congressional Bill requiring him to get approval from Congress...a bill he signed into law.  
• In June of 2012, a GSA contractor who was receiving favorable treatment from the government was found to have arranged over $500,000 in "bundled" contributions to Obama's reelection campaign. 
• In August of 2012, it was uncovered that the Administration had arrange for $445 million to go to former ACORN leaders for their use in funding another home lending debacle.  
• In October 2012, it became known that Obama's housing stimulus was a dismal failure.  
• In May of 2013, the IRS scandal really started to heat up as it was discovered IRS Chief Shulman was a regular visitor to the White House.  This scandal has led to allegations of destruction of evidence over missing emails and stonewalling, despite earlier IRS acknowledgement that illegal targeting of conservative organizations had occurred. 
• In June of 2013, after the Earl Snowden national security breach was revealed, it became known that NSA was maintaining mounds of data on all U.S. citizens, a fact Obama initially denied, then admitted to, then promised to clean up, which has yet to be done. 
• In September of 2013, Obama had Secretary of State Kerry sign the U.N.gun ban treaty against overwhelming citizen opposition.
• In October of 2013, ObamaCare hit a huge snag when its website was discovered to be useless and the fact that the Canadian firm which built it had close ties to... Michelle Obama. It also became known that remnants of ACORN had been selected by the Administration to assist in the sign-ups of enrollees for ObamaCare.  It also became known that Obama had been secretly easing U.S. sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program for months.  
• The V.A. scandal; the Taliban prisoner release; The E.P.A. missing emails.  The refusal of Holder to abide by directions of Congress to name Special Prosecutors.  Spying on the Associated Press and Fox News. 

Would you vote for this oppressive, lying regime again?  Can you imagine where we will be by 2016 if we don't so something about it?

THE CORRUPT PRESS

Our forefathers envisioned that freedom of the press would guarantee oversight of the government and proper reporting to the populace of any wrong doing.  

THIS press and media is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Obama regime and is using its inherent power to subvert the Constitution and government of the United States of America. 

Period, no holds barred.

IRAQ IN THE SHITTER

The stories about Iraq all lead to the same conclusion; we need to stay out and remain neutral and let the Kurds, the Shiites and the Sunnis fight it out for themselves.  Otherwise, they say, whoever is Iraq's leader must be responsible for forming a neutral government that gives due influence to all three factions.  

On the face of it, that sounds like good advice.  

But, there's a big, big problem: ISIS.  Within the last few days, ISIS has consolidated its holdings and added immensely to its strength; former Hussein elite guards from the Baath Party have joined ISIS, as have large numbers of Al Qaeda.  Even if Al-Mulaki cobbles together some miraculous new political structure, ISIS is not one of the parties involved.  So, ISIS will continue its attacks on Iraqi cities including Baghdad; the probability grows that Iraq is going down and that ISIS will end up in charge.   

We can stay out of it, and that is the prevailing American inclination.  But, we're looking at the emergence of the first totally terrorist state in world history.  Their next immediate target is likely to be Jordan, since Jordan borders Iraq and is a U.S. ally.  Obama is widely perceived  to be weak enough to allow that to happen.  And for those who think ISIS will contain itself within Iraq, be advised that they have already been responsible for attacks in Lebanon.  

Unfortunately, we have a President who either does not understand the ramifications of what is going on in the Middle East or who simply does not care. My prediction is that without a drastic change of course, the next terrorist attack against the United States is just around the corner.

BOEHNER: "BIG LAWSUIT" HEADING OBAMA'S WAY?

Although Barack Hussein Obama has been ruling Washington with an iron fist, House Speaker John Boehner was impudent enough yesterday to suggest that he may file a gigantic lawsuit against the President for abusing his powers through his flagrant uses of Executive Orders, thereby circumventing the Constitution and the Congress. The lawsuit could set up a significant test of constitutional checks and balances, with the legislative branch suing the executive branch for ignoring its mandates, and the judiciary branch deciding the outcome.  

It's short of impeachment proceedings and not likely to reach the Supreme Court until long after Obama leaves office, but then again... isn't Washington just one big game of smoke and mirrors anyway?

I think we would gladly trade 12 million illegal Mexicans for one Marine held in a Mexican jail.  But it appears that Obama would rather trade five Taliban top terrorists for one deserter. 

Obama can't even deal with Mexico, let alone with the rest of the world.

NATIVE AMERICAN HEALTHCARE WORSE THAN V.A.

I definitely do not want to take anything away from the horrible situation existing at V.A. clinics across the country.  I've said many times that what we see at the V.A. is what we are likely to see in this nation under ObamaCare, and most knowledgeable people agree with me. 

There is another national health care tragedy that has existed in the country for decades: it's on our Native American reservations.  IHS clinics and hospitals have historically been underfunded, making it difficult to attract and retain qualified physicians and providers and leaving many clinics with only basic services for emergency situations at the ends of their fiscal years.  Patients are getting little preventative medicine; in many cases, they can't get a physical exam unless they are already sick.  

The IHS budgets are not increased to keep pace with the rising costs of pharmaceuticals.  Dental care is abysmal.  Adequate vision care is sporadic.  Patients requiring major surgery must often travel hundreds of miles to an IHS Medical Center and it is not unusual for the patient to lack adequate transportation funds.  The ability to see specialists is doled out only as dwindling funds allow.  

The average Native American lives 20 to 30 years less than American non-Natives. 

The sad part of the story is that I've just glossed over the problems.  I can't do the situation justice in this space.  But, we Americans should be just as upset over this issue as we are about the V.A. situation.  I'd love to see FOX NEWS tackle a journalistic investigation into this travesty.

THE DESTRUCTION OF EVIDENCE

We've had lies, deceit and spins. This administration has turned the art of obfuscation into a science. 

It's graduated into destruction of evidence.  "It just so happens that the computers of six different top level I.R.S. employees, plus the computer of star non-witness Lois Lerner, crashed and all of those Emails you wanted between 2009 and 2011... vanished.  And, by the way, we have no backups.  So what?  What are you going to do about it?  So there.  Up yours."  

The fox is clearly in charge of the chicken coop. The chicken coop is in charge of your healthcare information.  The chicken coop is also in charge of the collection of your taxes. 

What are YOU going to do about it?  Nothing?  Are you going to let your Congressional delegation do nothing about it except deliver lip service?

OUR NATIONAL SECURITY IS NOW NILL; WE'RE AT SEVERE RISK

The fact is that we are more at risk from a national security standpoint right now than we have been at any time since September 10, 2001.  The terrorists in the Middle East are just as many and well-trained as they were on that date.  At the same time, our southern border is more porous than it has ever been; I assert that it is easier for an Al Qaeda or I.S.I.S. type to get into the U.S. today than it was on 9/10... by far.  

And here we sit with a President in the White House who is either unwilling to, or incapable of protecting us.  Americans, we could easily have a bombing today or tomorrow in New York City, in Los Angeles, in Washington, DC; we are no longer prepared to deal with that frightening, but realistic possibility.  We cannot afford the luxury of sitting on our duffs and pretending everything is okay when it is not.  

We have to remove this President and his cronies from power and we simply cannot wait until 2016 to do it.  The wheels of impeachment must start today; we cannot wait a single moment because, while the border agents are busy changing diapers on illegal immigrant babies, very dangerous terrorists have an undefended, wide-open border beckoning them.

OBAMA IS PORNOGRAPHIC

The word floating around the country these days is that Obama sucks big time.  

• He can't get veterans timely and decent health care.  
• He can't explain Benghazi.
• He won't explain Fast & Furious.
• He actively participated in the I.R.S targeting, (show me emails that prove otherwise)
• He couldn't live up to his word on Syria.  
• He lied about ObamaCare.
• He spies on Americans. 
• He can't control our borders. 
• He can't deal with Iran's or North Korea's nuclear program.  
• He can't deal with Iraq.  
• He can't talk to us without a teleprompter. 
• He suffers from a God complex. 
• He doesn't know shit from Shinola until he reads about it in the newspaper.  

Obama has no socially redeeming value.  Therefore, he must be pornographic.

MISSING I.R.S. EMAIL SCANDAL BREAKS WIDE OPEN

It turns out that emails from I.R.S. employees other than Lois Lerner have also mysteriously "gone missing." 

Oh my, the I.R.S. must have been the victim of one helluva lot of computer glitches.  You'd think they were hooked up with the ObamaCare computer, wouldn't you?  And isn't it amazing... flatly amazing... that the missing emails just happen to be emails that Congress wanted to see?  

Oh... I forgot to mention that they've also been recycling backup tapes as well, which is why they don't have backup copies.  Hmmm... I wonder what the real purpose of a backup tape is, then?  Doesn't this all kind of smell like Eau d' Toilette.

SUPREME COURT GUN RULING SOUNDS GOOD, BUT IS NOT

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor yesterday by a 5-4 vote of Ohio's ban on being able to purchase a gun for someone else, even if they are legally entitled to own a gun.  

On the surface, it sounds good; my initial reaction was that it would further close the ability of those with mental issues to buy guns.  But, here's the problem:  I want to buy my dad a hunting rifle, one he's always cherished, as a Christmas gift.  Or, I bought this pistol last year and after using it, I've decided it's too heavy for me and I want to give it to my son.  

Now, I suppose I could take the gun to a gun dealer and have him fill out paperwork for the transfer from me to my dad or son, but that is not made clear.  In California, they are trying to prevent me from doing that.  In other words, they are trying to force me to take my guns to the grave with me.  

I'm inclined to think the law was not well-thought-out and that the decision, therefore, is flawed.  But, I agree with the principle.

CLUCK, CLUCK... SHUCK AND DUCK

Some day, Obama is going to have to learn how to face problems and deal with them. As it is, every time someone or some thing turns up the heat, Obama leaves Washington.  He seems to be in the habit of procrastinating until he's literally forced to decide and then he inevitably fumbles the ball.  

When it comes to terrorism, Al Qaeda, Taliban and I.S.I.S., he's eventually going to have to face the stark reality that those butchering marauders in Iraq right now have every intention of lining all of us up and doing the same thing right here, on the streets of San Francisco and the halls of Yale.  

Shucking and ducking and clucking like a chicken sends the wrong message.  It tells the enemy that we are weak people who chose weak leaders.  Obama has to learn that burying our collective heads in the sand will not make problems go away.  Perhaps, since he climbed out from underneath a rock,  that's the only game he knows.

IRAQ: FURTHER ANALYSIS

I stand by what I said yesterday.  

What I've heard the President say is that he might send in some drones or bombing attacks and there will be no troops on the ground.  He wants Iraq to come to the plate and start defending themselves; the mass defections from the Iraqi military have to stop.  And, I've heard a whole bunch of double-talk and spin about the reasons for what is happening. 

Now then, I pointed out there are two options: (1) stay out, or (2) go in and give them every thing we have, win the war and secure the country.  I suggest that there be no in-between solution or attempt; if we have to go to war, go to win.  I stand by that opinion. 

If we go for a partial "solution," we're never going to see the end to this problem in Iraq or anywhere else in the Middle East. We must deal those factions from an absolute position of power, or not deal at all.  If we choose not to get involved, we must understand that our homeland security risks are going to go sky high.  

This problem is so convoluted that it would take forever to explain it; it involves Iran, Syria, Shiites, Shia and centuries of war.  If it were my decision to make right now, I'd go in, win convincingly, and occupy the country for 20 or 30 years.  If we put our minds to it, we could have it all over and done with within 30 days and we'd have control of their oil fields and government.  We'd also send a clear message to the rest of those who would attack this country that we're not putting up with any guff. 

If we're not willing to do that, we need to stay home entirely and seriously build up our armed forces and homeland security, firmly close our borders and isolate ourselves.  

As for what our illustrious President is doing, he's left Washington for a weekend golf and campaign get away to California... so Iraq is obviously not that important to him.  That makes his record perfect: every time there's been a serious crisis, he's managed to leave town.

IT'S THE END OF THE ROAD

First off, let me suggest that leaving a paltry 10,000 troops in Afghanistan with the Taliban and Al Qaeda now on the march to gain total control of Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and probably Pakistan is a dumb move.  Yes, Mr. President, you've got the decimated, fractionalized impotent Al Qaeda and Taliban on the run all right... on the run to a complete victory.   And, yes they have been emboldened by your blind stupidity in the Taliban-Deserter swap.  That means that even as many as 10,000 of our troops left in Afghanistan are severely at risk.  You need to get them all out, and now is the time... unless you're willing to go back in there and finish the job that Bush started.  

That is a key question.  Obviously you think that trading one deserter for five Taliban terrorists is a fair trade.  Letting the lives of 4,500 dead American soldiers go down the drain may well be an acceptable price in your mind for us to pay in order for you to keep your precious Nobel Peace Prize.   

I've heard the argument: why don't we stay the hell out of there and let the Muslims and Shiites, Taliban and Al Qaeda fight each other to the death, then we won't have to worry about them anymore.  Frankly, if you will remember, that's kind of blaze' attitude we had leading into 9/11.  History teaches us that Hitler did not stop at Poland and Putin will not stop in the Ukraine.  Therefore, we must understand that Al Qaeda, I.S.I.S. and the Taliban will not stop with Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Turkey, Libya, Yemen, Qatar... Egypt or Israel, even if they decimate themselves in the process. 

Now, I'm not a war hawk.  I am of the opinion, however, that staying out of the Middle East will ultimately be more dangerous than going in and cleaning it up once and for all.  I don't understand how we can continually lose wars... Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan... and expect to remain safe in our own little cocoons here in the United States.  We're already allowing the illegal Mexicans to take over our country and we're not even firing a shot!  

What, Mr.President, do you intend to do if that missing 737 comes barreling in and nukes New York City?  Are you going to get a tee time at Pebble Beach? 

We're at serious risk.  Every single piece of national security put in place since 9/11 has been demolished.  The N.S.A. is so busy watching us, they'll never be able to catch a terrorist.  

It's the end of the road.  It's decision time.  It's do... or die, and putting a band-aid on it and pretending everything is going to be okay is tantamount to drawing another one of those ridiculous "red lines."

ERIC CANTOR: WE'VE ONLY JUST BEGUN

While the pundits and the House Republicans scramble to understand the meaning in Eric Cantor's primary defeat, there are those of us understand the message fully well:  He asked for it. 

We're sick and tired of the ragged and time-worn "business as usual" attitude of Congress as a whole, the flippant attitude of the Republican hierarchy toward the will of its members and the refusal of the GOB-GOP network to make peace with and assimilate Tea Party and conservative ideals into the party agenda.  For example, in the face of firm Republican membership resistance to wholesale amnesty for illegals, Cantor came out and inexplicably endorsed it.  

And for those of you high and mighty know-it-all establishment Republicans left in the halls of Congress, you're no better than the left-wing Democrats who are sending this country down the sewer; you're not part of the solution, so you must be part of the problem and you, too, are in our cross-hairs.  If you're not willing to jump on the bandwagon of patriotism and Americanism... get out of the way or you're going to get run over.  If we can get Cantor, we can get you.  

We owe this time and moment to those who came before us.

YET ANOTHER SCHOOL SHOOTING; 74 & COUNTING

The 74th school shooting since the Newtown, Connecticut massacre has taken place, this one at Reynolds High School in Troutdale, Oregon, a suburb of  Portland.  Both the shooter and one student are dead. 

This gun-owning Life Member of the NRA agrees: something has to be done about it.  Gun control is not the answer; in locales where there is strict gun control or guns are outlawed, violent crime rates are significantly higher.  I think putting cops in schools was a logical step, but let's face it: if someone is hell-bent on shooting or stabbing someone else, they'll find a way around the cops, the metal detectors and any other physical barrier we install.  

We simply must get at the root of the problem: Is it too much violence on TV and video games; is it single-parent homes; is it some internal need for love and recognition; is it drug-induced; is it a lack of religious, moral and ethical up-bringing; or is it some combination of these?  There's been a whole lot of lip-service paid to the issue by the Obama regime, virtually all of which has been directed at increased gun control.  But, there's no evidence whatsoever that any one of these measures would have or could have prevented these shootings. 

To my knowledge, there's no credible, comprehensive study of the issue, although two years have passed since Newtown.  Why not?  Could it be that Obama wants the shootings to escalate so he has an excuse for gun control?   When you look at the VA disaster and the lack of action there over years of passive oversight, it compares to the lack of studies and understanding of the real issues associated with these shootings... and there has to be a reason for that, too.  

One thing I do know, and I understand that the Internet is going to be burning up with hate mail to me when I say it but, it's a fact: This horrible surge in stabbings and shootings has all occurred during Obama's time in office.  Period.  

Let that soak in over the morning coffee.

WHY

Everyone is asking, "Why did Obama trade five top Taliban prisoners for one deserter," especially since there are surfacing allegations that a substantial cash ransom was paid as well? 

There is one credible theory making the circuit: Obama desperately needed to switch the national focus from Benghazi and the V.A. scandals and he thought, (incorrectly), that the nation would see it as a positive development.  But, is that the only possibility?

Remember back when the Benghazi Massacre first occurred and there was a credible theory that Obama had arranged with terrorists to conduct a "phony" attack on the Benghazi Consulate, kidnap the Ambassador and then exchange the Ambassador for Khalid Sheik Mohamed?  The working theory is that there would be no resistance... no Marines on the ground to defend the Consulate.  Indeed, the Administration had ignored pleas from Ambassador Stephens and others for increased security and denied requests for assistance as the attack was occurring.  In fact, there are statements to the effect that the three defenders who also lost their lives there had been told to "stand down."  But, they did resist and the attackers were not expecting that; they may have seen it as a trap, which led to the horrible way in which the Ambassador was killed.  

Suppose that this exchange of Bergdahl for the five Taliban was meant to serve as appeasement on the part of the White House, a sort of "peace offering?"  That possibility would certainly explain both the Benghazi cover up and the current frenzy to contain the furor over the switch, wouldn't it?  

One other thought in passing:  Why was the Bergdahl family allowed access to top military officials regarding the ongoing status of their son while the families of those killed in Benghazi were totally shut out?

THE BLOOD OF 9/11 IS ON HIS HANDS

It is with great sadness that I look upon what we have allowed our nation to become.  Although the lives of countless thousands of people were taken by their heinous acts, our President has released five top Taliban terrorists from Guantanamo against the will of the Congress, of the military, of top national advisers and of the American people.  He has adamantly said he will apologize to no one. 

It is as if he had the blood of 9/11 upon his hands. 

Congress simply must act.

"HONOR AND DISTINCTION"

National Security Adviser Susan Rice, in attempting to justify Obama's exchange of Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl for five top Taliban terrorists, again went to Sunday news talk shows and attempted to paint Bergdahl as being far more than what he is, even a military hero, by saying he had served his country "with honor and distinction."  This brought a firestorm of anger, particularly among veterans. 

Obama's White House can't come to grips with the uproar from America; they have no clue.  

She didn't use those words about any of those who died trying to locate the deserter after he left his post.  She didn't mention those words about any the the military members who lost their lives at the hands of the Taliban.  She didn't mention any of those words about the veterans who are being forced to wait for service at V.A. hospitals and clinics around the country.  She didn't mention any of those words about Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry who lost his life at the hands of a Fast & Furious gun.  She didn't mention those words about any of the four valiant defenders at Benghazi.  

She only mentioned them about a deserter.  

You'd think there was again a video to blame; another story, another fabrication, another insult to the American intellect; another oppressive boot trying to grind the real "honor and distinction" of real American heroes into the dirt. 

Is there no end to their disgraceful and shameful conduct?

OBAMA IS A TERRORIST SYMPATHIZER?

That's one helluva headline, isn't it?  

The Muslim Brother hood has been making visits to the White House on a regular basis for several years.   The White House confirmed to THE BLAZE in February that a Muslim Brotherhood lobbyist met with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden at the White House in late January, but deferred to the Iraqi government as to why the lobbyist was part of a meeting with an Iraqi delegation.  WND reported last month that an email released regarding the Benghazi Massacre included in distribution a figure with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Medhi Alhassani, who shares a similar background with Huma Abedin, the longtime aide to Hillary Clinton, reported former PLO-member and Arabic-speaking researcher Walid Shoebat; it suggests a Muslim request to list the infamous video as being responsible for the Benghazi attack. 

Obama has made several attempts to free supreme terrorist Khalid Sheik Mohammed from Guantanamo.  He also attempted to remove the Sheik from a trial by military tribunal and to bring him to New York for trial in a civilian court.   There was a suggestion that Benghazi was prearranged with the Administration, and the game plan was for the terrorists to seize and kidnap Ambassador Stephens and then to demand the release of the Shiek in a prisoner exchange; Obama guaranteed no resistance at the Consulate, but the plan went astray when others stationed at Benghazi put up a fierce fight.  The resistance caught the "attackers" by surprise, angered them and led to the deaths of the four Americans, which allegedly explains the reason for the cover up.  

In looking for a way to deflect the House Select Committee investigation into the Benghazi Massacre, other House hearings into the IRS targeting scandal and the delayed V.A. treatment of veterans, Obama may have seized the opportunity to trade Bowe Bergdahl for the five terrorists.  He did meet in secret with Hillary Clinton at the White House last week; Clinton also has a vested interest in sidetracking any investigation into the Benghazi Massacre as she wishes to clear the way for a Presidential campaign.  It is likely that the Bergdahl-Guantanamo deal had been percolating for several weeks, that Clinton concurred such a deal may accomplish the goals of deflection, and that Obama decided to grasp the opportunity to release five top terrorists in order to gain favor with the Muslim Brotherhood.  

One thing is certain: the release of the five terrorists directly aids and abets the Taliban and other terrorist organizations who have been declared enemies of the United States.  I do believe that to be treasonous and impeachable.

Wouldn't you be interested in knowing how many American lives were lost due to actions of those five terrorists Obama just freed?  How many military lives were lost trying to locate, capture and transport these five pieces of scum to Guantanamo?

We already know of at least one death which can be attributed to the search for Bowe Bergdahl; he stepped on an I.E.D.  There may be six.  We now have a third-rate State Department bimbo flunky stepping forward to call soldiers who were at the front lines when Bergdahl disappeared "liars" for claiming Bergdahl deserted.  

From an American Veteran... Piss on this President and his fascist anti-American pigs who have seized control of our country.  Piss on them.

Here's the news of the day: 

• Regardless of the fact that the Inspector General provided sufficient information about the Phoenix V.A. to justify pushing Shinseki out the door, they're going to have more hearings before they decide what, if anything, to do about the V.A. Hospital problems.  

• We just arranged to trade five top Taliban terrorists for one American POW who is accused of deserting his post, leaving his base and falling into the hands of his captors:  A deserter.  

• UCLA is giving top speaking billing to Jane Fonda, the actress who in 1972 traveled to Viet Nam, met with the enemy and called American soldiers "war criminals." 

So, what's next?  Maybe they'll tear out Arlington National Cemetery and replace it with a Muslim Mosque.  

You're damned right I'm upset.  I'm an American veteran.  I'm flat PISSED OFF.

OUR NATIONAL PARADOX

When I was a lad, back in 100 BC... "back in the day"... the family would get together around the radio every night at 5:00 PM to listen to the evening news.  It was Edward R. Murrow, or Lowell Thomas or Walter Cronkite, and they had the news.  It was thirty minutes of the straight skinny on what the haps were at the time, follow by discourse between my parents with their opinions and what the news portended.  We young ones were allowed to join in the conversation as it wore on.  Through this process, of course, we became good citizens; these were subjects likely to be discussed in a school Civics or American History class the next day.  We would then sit down as a family unit to dinner where the conversation might continue. 

Now, I know you might think I'm blowing smoke, but I'm not.  

Today, it's different.  It's become a paradox: We're too busy with life to pay attention to the news about our government and yet, the number one concern we all have in our lives is government. 

The half-hour national news followed by 30 minutes of local and state news, sports and weather is gone.  What this time period has morphed in to is an entertainment and opinion hour with talking heads and screaming matches.  We're no longer the family unit engrossed in watching or hearing the events of the day; it's a rare occasion when we all sit down to eat together and when we do, we're all too involved in texting to pay any attention whatsoever to what someone else might think.  It's a day and age where, with all of this communications technology we have, we don't really communicate... a time when we could literally go to war and half the country wouldn't know about it for a week.  

We need to reorder our lives, restructure our routines and get our real priorities straight.  If our government really is our main concern, we need to put down the damned cell phone and discover for ourselves what is really going on in our government.  While we're at it, we might just look in Wikipedia to find out what a Senator and a Representative is and, if it's not too much to ask, why our government is so dysfunctional.  

Oh... as a matter of information and edification, Harry Truman is no longer President of the United States.  Please pass the mustard.
