Way back when I was young and life was good, my parents taught me not to get into fights and to avoid confrontations and conflicts that might lead to fights. I think, if I remember correctly, that was a common message to us youngsters in those days. The emphasis was on being polite and “minding your manners.” What the enemies of freedom, liberty, justice and the American Way seem to have forgotten is that the avoidance of confrontation and conflict does not constitute acquiescence or agreement.
What has changed over the last fifty years is that our fundamental values and rights have been gradually eroded…taken away from us; and we let them do it. While they yelled and screamed and were confrontational, we became the “silent majority.”
One by one, they have stopped our right to pray in most public places. They have almost totally destroyed State’s Rights and transferred power from the States to the central government in violation of the Constitution. They have allowed judicial activists to create new law that directly opposes our Constitution and thereby establishes a dual system of justice wherein the influentials get off with murder, (Ted Kennedy), and the “have-nots” go to prison for bouncing a check.
They sneer at us when we say, “In God We Trust.” They have gone from chipping away at the foundations of this country to using bulldozers by taking over the nation’s banks and major manufacturers, changing the nation’s history in school text books and indoctrinating our children into their way of thinking in our classrooms. They are trying to seize our individual liberties and our powers as citizens from us through the introduction of Cap & Trade, socialized medicine, censorship of the airwaves and the Internet, and their dismissive refusal to hear our words of protest in public forums.
It’s not just the Democrats who are guilty of these things; the Republicans have been partners in the creation of a national aristocratic elitism that defies all remaining vestiges of patriotism in this country.
Those who have strayed from the teachings of Christianity and who have found their way back refer to themselves as “Reborn Christians.” Now is the time for all good and patriotic Americans who have strayed from the patriotism and the founding values upon which this great country were built, to stand up for their country and to be counted as “Reborn Americans.”
The “Sleeping Dragon” is awakening. The “Silent Majority” can be silent no more. The single biggest honor we can bestow on the anniversary of 9/11 is to take back our country and to transfer the power of government back to the people, where it belongs. It is time to grab our flags and post them in our yards. It is time to march on Washington and make our patriotism heard. It is time to reach into our wallets and support the American Tea Party and similar patriotic organizations. It is time to sing our national anthem. It is time to teach the real history of our country to our children. And, it’s time to quit pussy-footing around with the enemies within us.
We ARE “Reborn Americans,” one nation under God, endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, including liberty and justice for all. Stand tall, stand proud, stand American.
