The Obama Administration has fumbled the ball again, (they can't get anything right), and Janet Napolitano is front stage again. But, for the grace of God, that bomb would have gone off killing 278 people aboard and who knows how many more on the ground. Not only are these goons a disgrace to the country, but they have allowed our national security to badly deteriorate in 11 short months. This terrorist attack almost came to fruition... the guy got further than anyone has gotten since 9/11.

HEALTH CARE: THE OPPRESSION BEGINS?

Bribery, theft, embezzlement, and total lack of moral character. Paying each other off with our money. Graft, corruption. Cavalier attitude toward we the people.

SENATE IN FINAL HOURS OF CONSIDERING BAD LEGISLATION

From what I have seen these past few days, the attitude in the left-wing of the United States Senate is, “It’s better to pass bad legislation than to pass no legislation at all.” Those of us who have been on the receiving end of some of the bad Bills that have come out of Congress in past years respectfully disagree.

Certainly, there are issues to come before Congress that require careful attention and deliberation. I am speaking of issues that have a profound and lasting impact upon the lives of our citizens, the conduct of our domestic and international affairs, our economy and our essential well-being. These are issues that need to be fully explored from all aspects in order to ensure that the decisions rendered are fully informed and considered out so that they can be well-executed.

Decisions should be based solely upon the common good; for someone to say that the ultimate decision will be based upon political campaign contributions or lobbying power is not acceptable. “Yes, we agree that malpractice awards should be capped, but most members of Congress are lawyers and a whole lot of legal firms contributed to the last campaign, so we don’t want to anger the lawyers,” is not a satisfactory explanation for the failure to reign in malpractice awards.

We have heard the same arguments about opening up the import of medicines from Canada, or allowing insurance companies to compete across state lines. Again, to excuse the failure to address these issues on the basis of what the drug manufacturer’s or insurance companies want is not acceptable. Congress works for us, not for them.

We now are in what appears to be the final and decisive hours of deliberation in the Senate regarding health care reform. We, the people, have made it well-known that we do not like the direction that this proposed legislation is taking. We are against the bills being considered; yet, those in power in the U.S. Senate seem to be hell-bent on getting a bill passed before Christmas because “failure to act is not an alternative.”

Here comes another very bad piece of legislation.

In these hours, we Americans must pause long enough to make it known to those in Washington that we demand better consideration, evaluation and full deliberation on all legislation before decisions are made on anything. Otherwise, this is not a democracy, of the people, by the people and for the people.

OBAMA BECOMING "EPITOME OF POLITICAL QUACKERY"

The President is now alleging that the failure to immediately pass the Senate Health Care package will result in the United States falling off the edge of the Earth. His remarks, made Wednesday night, come after Howard Dean urged U.S. Senators not to pass the Bill because it now does not meet their far-left wing objectives. Republicans have been urging Congress to scrap the plan entirely and to start a new plan that will cap malpractice awards and reduce prescription costs.

Obama told ABC's Charles Gibson, “If we don't pass it, here's the guarantee….your premiums will go up, your employers are going to load up more costs on you,” he said. “Potentially they're going to drop your coverage, because they just can't afford an increase of 25 percent, 30 percent in terms of the costs of providing health care to employees each and every year."

The president said the costs of Medicare and Medicaid are on an “unsustainable” trajectory and if there is no action taken to bring them down, “the federal government will go bankrupt.”
Well, Mr. President, we Americans are sick and tired of your alarmist scare-tactics and your bullying ways. As a matter of fact, sir, we have almost gotten to the point of totally turning you off. You are quickly becoming known as "the epitome of political quackery."

That point having been succinctly made, let's please put this version and all similar versions of the Health Care Plan in the shredder and, right after the first of the year, let's start crafting a new bill that leaves the quality of our health care intact, caps malpractice awards, opens the door for insurance competition across state lines, provides for the import of Canadian drugs, and encourages students to enter the medical profession. Then, let's find ways to provide health care to those who want it, need it, and don't have it. We can, and we must accomplish these objectives without bankrupting the country and without give the government full license to intrude into our personal lives and private health choices.

AMERICA WILL PAY FOR ABORTIONS AFTER ALL

With the skids now greased for the Senate to pass the "reworked" Health Care Bill whether we like it or not, Pelosi is already indicating that the House will receive the bill and send it straight to the floor for a full House vote as soon as received so that it can be passed before Christmas.

As you will recall, the Senate refused to add an amendment, like the one added to the House version of the Bill, barring public funds from being used to pay for abortions. This means that, after Obama signs it and the Congress then comes back and creates a new public option after the first the year, we taxpayers will be paying for abortions that are against our religions.

Everyone involved with this travesty belongs in jail. It's all been a big, damned show of smoke and mirrors designed to keep us at bay until the timing was right.

OBAMA, REID, PELOSI: ALL THREE MUST BE EXORCISED

If Obama is so ashamed of America and is so enthralled with the Marxist-Fascist way of doing everything, why doesn’t he move back to Kenya, where he probably was born? If I were a Black American, I’d be ashamed of the guy. He has fanned up the coals of racism in this country that caused so much pain and suffering for almost two centuries.

That’s my start to this post and I know I am going to get angrier as the writing goes on. It’s a plain and simple truth: Obama has done more to destroy this country in the past 11 months than all of radical Islam and the rest of our enemies have managed to accomplish in the past 25 years.

In a “state of emergency,” Obama plunged the country into debt like it has never seen before, to rescue banks and to create an “economic recovery” and a "stimulus.” When all of this money was being obligated, it was sold to America as being “loans” that would be paid back, but Obama managed to take control of General Motors and Chrysler, bondholders who had bankrolled the companies before got the shaft; banks found out that their boards of directors were being replaced and… now that money is being paid back, Obama and Congress have plans not to put it back into the treasury, but to spend it on other bullshit pork barrel projects.

The Cap and Trade legislation, a worse piece of garbage than even the health care plan, thankfully got stuck in the Senate. Obama, having surrounded himself with a new power structure of “Czars,” fired off a volley this week and told the Senate that if they do not pass the Cap and Trade, the EPA will issue Administrative Regulations of its own that will be far, far worse than Cap and Trade.

Every facet of the Health Care Plan that America has been against has been included in the Senate version of that Bill, although several attempts have been made to amputate them, (play on words intended). Although over 80% of Americans are happy with their current health care plans, and 63% oppose the health care changes as currently written, Pelosi and Reid have firmly promised to pass a Bill before Christmas so Obama can sign it. Every dirty trick in the book and then some have been played by both Reid and Pelosi, including outright lies to the American people, misinformation, disinformation, and contemptuous name calling. Remember: thugs from the SEIU were called out to a Town Hall meeting to control access. If there was a problem, wouldn't it be a police matter and not a "thug"matter?

The most recent move, to change the government run option into becoming an addition to the Medicare program, has been said by Medicare officials itself to add over $250 billion in costs. The American Medical Association has firmly said that it will result in thousands of doctors and practitioners refusing to take Medicare patients and 20% of hospitals and clinics closing, thereby totally screwing up health care as it currently exists. Little do they know that the Medical Czar is probably going to tell doctors that, should they refuse Medicare patients, they will be fined $10,000 per day until they change their minds. As the President of the SEIU says, if they can’t convince us with talk, they’ll get really mean and nasty. Maybe violators will end up in Guantanamo?

Nancy Pelosi, ever the darling of the ball, said this week that she will support the Medicare plan, even if it costs her 20 or more Democrat seats in the House. They do not care who they ruin in their mad dash to totally take control of every facet of the government and our lives before the November elections. I’ll get back to that point in a moment.

The EPA is now taking the position that it has total control of all waters in the United States and it can regulate them in any way it so desires. What does this mean? If you have a swimming pool, you are going to have to meet EPA standards and inspections. If you have large acreage with a pond on it, you are going to have to maintain it to EPA standards and they will have the right to come onto your property at any time to inspect it and make sure you are in compliance and to tell you what kind of fish you can have in it. Don’t believe it? Remember the provision in the health care edict that says if you do not have insurance you are going to be fined and if you don’t pay the fine up to $25,000 you are going to jail? It’s still in there.

The House of Representatives, in all of its glory, has now passed sweeping legislation that gives government the power to break up any business they feel is a threat to the economy. That’s Barney Frankfarter’s Christmas gift to America. Take a Bill Gates who has a brain and creates a plan and turns it into a company like Microsoft and changes the world... that company certainly must be high on the list of companies to break up because it certainly could pose the biggest danger to the whole world’s economy. What incentive would Bill Gates have to repeat this performance today? Oh, I guess if he kicks in a few billion dollars to some Obama slush fund, he might escape the wrath of the Politburo? This total and absolute power to destroy any American business will be given over to the Administration.

There’s more bullshit. You and I both know it but, there’s not enough space left on the Internet to list all of it, and Obama now has the authority to shut me down, anyway.

Now, I get back to the point previously raised… the 2010 elections. Do you think that we are really going to have them? Okay, okay…maybe I’ve gone around the bend a little? I never thought in my wildest imagination that we would be seeing what is happening to our country today, so I don't rule out anything.

Take Senator Landrieu from Louisiana. She’s up for reelection in 2010 and, if she votes for this Health Care debacle, she’s surely not going to win in 2010. But, if she does vote for the Health Care debacle and it passes, what do you think would happen in Louisiana if it got an extra $1 billion for various projects and if it was made clear that she “secured that money for the good of Louisiana,” and if she got an extra $2 or $3 million for her campaign fund and, maybe, a $1 million addition to her personal bank account?

You and I know that this kind of activity by our President and Congressional leaders has already been taking place.

If you are half as angry at what is happening to our country as I am, you’ll get off your ass and do something about it. You need to join me and scream and yell loud and clear. Let’s take up a collection and send these fascist dogs out of the country. I don’t think we can take another year of this crap. WE NEED TO TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY, AND WE NEED TO DO IT NOW; WE CANNOT WAIT.

OBAMA'S WAR DECISION SUCKS

War is ugly. Anyone who has ever seen an arm or a leg torn off by a mortar blast, a body torn apart by shrapnel, or the results of a .45 or .50 caliber round through a skull… the smell of a burning body… knows that war is not only ugly, it is hell. Therefore, those of us who have served our country will tell you straight up, “We do not like war, we do not want war but, if we are going to get into war, we’re going to fight to our last breath to win and to win as quickly as possible.” The quicker a war is won, the fewer lives will be lost.

December 7th, the “day that will live in infamy,” is upon us. When the Japs leveled their sights on Pearl Harbor and opened their bomb-bay doors, there was not even a fleeting thought that they should avoid civilian targets, schoolyards, churches or marketplaces. When the Allied Forces responded and started bombing the hell out of Germany and Japan, the object was to bomb the enemy into submission and to win the war.

Point in fact: The Radical Muslim does not send his captive off to Guantanamo; instead, the Muslim lops off his enemy’s head.

What about the rules of the Geneva Convention? If you put forth that argument, you don’t know a damned thing about war. What do you think war is, anyway? Is it a polo match, a chess game or a Sunday football game? When the enemy points his machine gun at you and you see his finger start to tug at the trigger, do you shoot back or do you start to read the rules of the battlefield to him?

We do everything we can to avoid wars. We confer. We attempt compromise. We confer some more. That was essentially our approach to the war going on in Europe. But, when the bombs fell on Pearl Harbor, the avoidance tactic was instantly forgotten. When the United States entered World War II, we made the commitment to win, no matter what it took. You fight to win or don’t you don’t fight at all.

There is no politically correct way to fight a war; if you think there is, surrender immediately and save lives. When the enemy invades or attacks your country, it's is a prima facie declaration of war. Your enemy has sized your situation up and feels that he can conquer. When radical Islamic terrorists, Al Queda, attacked the United States on September 11, 2001, they knew of the dangers and potential consequences and they were right: we have been engaged in a polo match ever since. We’ve taken the “politically correct” approach. We have shown the world that we no longer know what war really is. “I don’t care how many of those guys there are climbing over the walls to kill us, I just took this guy captive and I’ve got to read him his Miranda Rights?”

Bullshit.

You shoot the guy you just took captive so you don’t have that distraction, and then you turn your guns on the guys coming over the wall and you cut loose with every round of ammo and every weapon you have and you don't pick between men, women or children. Why? Because it’s them or you, and you can’t feed your family or send your kids off to college from the bottom of a grave.

Obama’s announced exit strategy from Afghanistan simply does not meet the test of war. He did not come to the podium and announce that we cannot and will not accept defeat; he came to the podium and said, “We’re sending in an additional 30,000 troops and we’re absolutely going to get them out within 18 months.”

Well, why don’t we have a nice and polite parade? Maybe the White House Orchestra will play a tune or two? We can invite the lady in the red dress, only this time we'll give her a copy of the invitation.

Obama is a weak President when it comes to making the tough decisions. His speech was a downer. Mr. President, are you going to win this war or not? If not, bring our troops home, save their arms and legs, give their children the opportunity to go to college. Put up the white flag of surrender. Open our country to another 9/11.

You cannot have it both ways. This time, you cannot stand up in the Illinois Legislature and announce your decision by saying, “Present.”

WHAT AMERICANS THINK OF CONGRESS

MORE SHORT SHOTS

WHY IZZIT that the media is making much more ado about the party crashers at the White House than they are about the lies and false statistics spewing forth from the Administration and associates regarding the success of the Economic Recovery Act and the basis for presuming that global warming actually exists? The last time I saw a pretty lady in a red dress pull off an appearance like this one was in the gambling business, when one walked by the craps table at the Flamingo and $10,000 in chips disappeared off the game because everyone had their eyes on her.

Some goofball Republicans have the idea that passing a law requiring Republican Senators and Congressman to act like conservatives or lose their campaign financing will solve the issue of us Americans being fed up with both political parties. Have they forgotten that we’ve been watching politicians who say and promise anything to get elected, and turn back into their rotten selves once they get elected, for decades? Why didn’t they act like conservatives when they were in charge? I don’t think the issue with Americans is so much whether or not they are conservatives as it is whether or not they are really patriotic Americans who believe in the will of the people.

Tax, tax, and tax. The only thing they haven’t proposed is adding a tax on taxes; sorry I mentioned it. Now we have some real idiots who want to have a “War Tax” to cover the cost of sending more troops to Afghanistan. Their basis is that we are suddenly spending too much money and we need to curtail spending; God forbid that Cap & Trade or the Government-run Health Care Plan should be a casualty of their grand scheme of things. From where I stand, at the rate they are spending us into oblivion, our best move right now would be to totally shut down Congress and the Administration for the next three years and turn things over to the lady in the red dress.

Well, Obama says he’s finally made up his mind and he’s going to tell us what he plans to do about Afghanistan on Tuesday. It took him three months to make up his mind on such a pressing issue, while our troops continue to be in harms way over there. Now, we have Awk-man-did-he-jig in Iran thumbing his nose at the IAEA as he has been doing for years, and we have a massive display of military power and rumbles of more secret nuclear facilities and our President who is bound and determined to make another trip to Copenhagen, where he got laughed out of town the last time he went there. This time, he’s going to try and convince other countries that the false figures he’s been relying on for his Cap & Trade / Global Warming stance are for real. Maybe he figures he can bring some international pressure to bear on Iran by pointing out that the use of nuclear weapons causes global warning?

We’re back to the pain-in-your-rear problem of minority rule. It’s Christmas season again and the atheists are out asserting their indignation that the rest of us believe in God. They’ve been successful in Washington State in keeping religious displays out of the State Capitol, although they’re a 5% minority. Personally, I’d really like to be there to see what arguments they put forth at the Pearly Gates after they die. Somehow, I don’t think that God is going to buy into it and, if I recall correctly, they won’t have a Higher Court to appeal to. On the other hand, there have been a lot of U.C. Berkeley students who have died, so maybe they’ve managed to change things “up there.” The minority rules, you know.

Along the same channel of thinking, two of the more famous nits in Washington, Barack Obama and Eric Holder, have decreed that the 9/11 Terrorists will receive their trials in New York City, where they make that great salsa that used to be advertised by a competitor. The two nits were able to prevail over the resulting American uproar, but they did get cheers from Khalidy Bop, his attorneys and the rest of the good-old-boys down at Guantanamo. Doesn’t this just make your rear-end want to pucker?

I’ve been predicting a sorry retail Christmas shopping season for some time. For one thing, you have Target and other major retailers buying into the atheistic argument that it’s offensive to say or to advertise “Merry Christmas.” For another, you have over 10.2% unemployment. Over? What do I base that statement on? Well, if you take all of the statistics and dollar figures coming out of Congress and the Administration and you discard the ones that have been admitted or proven to be incorrect, inflated, altered, there’s nothing left to trust. I believe the figure is closer to 12% and, if you add in the ones who can’t draw unemployment compensation anymore or who are under-employed or former business owners who have fallen victim to the economic times, I think the figure is currently closer to 20%. Then, factor in the credit card lines that have been cut and I see a disastrous retail season.

Since most retailers depend on the “Holiday” season to create a yearly profit, I see many national chains going under in the first few months of 2010. Which reminds me… Why does “holiday season” get by? Didn’t the word “holiday” derive from “Holy days?” Maybe if we called this retail season “Atheist Days,” Americans would throng to the malls and spend, spend, spend? What I do know is that store closures and major retailers going out of business equates to urban and suburban blight in shopping malls. Empty malls, or even half-empty malls, do not create any business at all. What they DO create is commercial bank and other lending institution foreclosures. With more toxic assets on the books, more banks are going to fail, and we’re already pushing 200 this year alone.

Adding to the gleeful news, a November 23rd front page NEW YORK TIMES report “warns U.S. debt is rising so fast that the federal government is careening toward a ‘payment shock’ in the not-too-distant future.” http://moneynews.newsmax.com/headlines/nyt_us_debt_shock/2009/11/23/289782.html?s=al&promo_code=91C9-1 The interest alone on our national debt will be over $700 billion, up from the current $202 billion. Additionally, the FDIC fund used to insure failed banks is $8.2 billion in the red and the number of banks in serious trouble has increased from 416 to 552.

Shaking the foundations of the “recovery” which Obama has claimed for himself, is the news yesterday that Dubai is now in deep camel dung. It is ominous that one of the major international centers of money cannot meet its debt burdens. Their market is crashing and that news caused the several U.S. stock exchanges to plummet. It appears more and more likely that most Americans will be getting a lump of coal in their stockings this Christmas as a gift from our Government. Notice that I am not blaming the Democrats for creating this mess; it started way back there with Bush 1 and both parties have participated in setting up the conditions for us to be in this mess.
We cannot continue to ignore the many warnings: This country is in deep, deep trouble. It is entirely possible, and growing more probable every day, that we will enter a depression next year that could surpass the “Great Depression.” This sure as hell is NOT the time to be adding fuel to the fire with more massive spending of any kind, let alone the creation of massive new entitlements.

But, this country is in deep, deep trouble in more ways than economic. We are allowing Government to intrude more and more into our lives every day. Granted, we are grumbling and making noise about all of these issues. Nevertheless, there is a major chasm between grumbling and doing something about it. Obviously, those in charge in Washington right now are gambling on our tradition of grumbling rather than getting off our couches and doing something about it. That’s why they continue to cram this mountain of garbage both down our throats and up our posteriors, and they do it openly and without shame.

Is that why the lady in the red dress got into the party, to create a diversion?

I know it’s going to take guts and courage and chutzpah but….. sooner or later, we are going to have to get off our couches and to take proactive action, or we’re going to end up like Afghanistan.

WHAT CONGRESS THINKS OF US

LIES AND EXCUSES WEARING THIN

Even Fox is guilty of it. It seems that those who should be our watchdogs in Washington are collectively shrugging their shoulders and making excuses for Obama and Congress and therefore are somewhat complicit in the shabby oversight of our government. Thursday, Congress had Tim Geithner on the hot seat regarding his mishandling of the AIG bailout and Geithner tried to turn the tables by asking for a rewrite of existing financial regulations. Representative Kevin Brady asked for Geithner’s resignation, and Geithner started to make excuses about the shape that the economy was in when he became Secretary of the Treasury. The fact is that Geithner has made many mistakes since taking office and he always seems to have an excuse.

Bill O’Reilly was making excuses for Obama’s handling of the terrorist trials and the fact that Obama persists in his health care plan although the public is against it. O’Reilly’s take is that the radical left wing wants their way and Obama has to take that into consideration in making his decision because that segment of society backed him in his run for the Presidency. Frankly, I couldn’t care less what any individual segment of society thinks about anything, but I do care what the majority of Americans think. The majority of Americans agree, for example, that it is unethical and unjust to require those opposed to abortions to pay for them as part of the new health care plan, but Obama, Reid and Pelosi seem bound and determined to allow such coverage in order to keep the radical left quiet.

Now comes forth one Jesse Jackson who asserts that any black who doesn’t support this health care plan is not black. What a piss-poor statement to make and how racially divisive is it? The crappy healthy care plan is now a white versus black issue? Are we trying to restart the Civil War here, or what?

Is it all about “divide and conquer?” Let’s get the whites fighting the blacks, the liberals fighting the conservatives, Washington fighting the citizens, the Marxists fighting the patriots… Let’s not let Americans even think about standing shoulder-to-shoulder, elbow-to-elbow and taking their country back?

Is that what this is all about?

All I know is that I’m sick and tired of hearing the bullshit. How about you?

HEALTH CARE PLAN: It's Time To Bend Over

This is my first take on the new Senate Health Care Plan that, according to Senator Reid, is the greatest thing since sliced bread. The cost? $849 billion to cover 30 million additional people. The math? $28,333 per additional person insured. I don't care what spin you put on it, the taxpayers will still end up paying for it and 15 million people, including Native Americans, will still be uninsured.

It is still a government-run health care plan, and it does allow for government funded abortions. I don't know yet what it says about illegal aliens, the cost of coverage for seniors, the eventual rationing of care, malpractice caps, or prescription drugs. Nor, do I know what provisions are being spun off into new additional legislation so that we cannot track the actual costs.

Whet we DO know at this point is that Congress doesn't give a damn what you think about it, it's going to pass anyway and we are going to pay for it. With having continuously being caught in lies, manipulations and misinformation, but with continuing along this path anyway and refusing to start over, the Congress and the President have made it abundantly clear that our government is no longer ours.... it's theirs.

This is nothing more than "politically correct" fascism.

BLATANT WHITE HOUSE LIES: OUR NATIONAL TRAGEDY

The Economic Stimulus figures released by the White House in support of their assertions that they are creating or saving jobs are outright lies, according to reports from Fox News this morning. These fictions are but one indication of the extent of the misinformation and disinformation, otherwise known as outright lies, that this Administration seems more than willing to put out to the American people in order to move its agenda forward. And, since the claims were made by Obama himself that his "stimulus" has saved all of these jobs, it is obvious that the lack of credibility goes all of the way to the top.

As desperate as Obama is to pass his health care plan, and with all of the other Anti-American agendas coming out of the Oval Office, as many "mistakes" there are that have already been revealed in Obama's "information," is now a good time to revisit the question: Where was he born?

This is beyond comical. This is now our national tragedy.

A CITIZEN QUESTIONS WASHINGTON

Where in the Constitution does it say that ACORN has a fundamental right to be funded by the Congress, whether they are crooks or not? Where does it say that I should pay for my neighbor’s abortion when she never gave me the chance to take her to bed? What language can you point to that says the rights of a gay minority automatically trump the rights of a straight majority? Where is the provision that says the President or the Congress has an unalienable right to ignore the provisions of the Constitution?

What gives the Speaker of the House the right to certify a new member and then to allow them to vote before the state has certified their election? Where in that document does it say that the power of government lies with the Congress and not with the States or with the people? What provision is there that requires us to give a complete and fair trial to someone who commits an act of war or terrorism against us? Where is the language that says: if I have a better health insurance policy than my neighbor, my policy should be taxed?

Where does it say that our Congress can spend more money than we take in, that they have the right to make us pay for it and that there is nothing we can do about it? What gives Congress the right to use OUR money to coerce the States into giving up their powers? How does Congress get away with mortgaging the souls of our grandchildren without the consent of the people?

Where does it say that our government can force us to buy something we don’t want or do not need and have us thrown in jail if we do not comply? What gives government the right to interfere with my doctor-patient relationship, to dictate medical decisions to me, or to take from me my money to pay for health insurance for illegal aliens? Where does it say that we have to accept illegal aliens, that we have no right to control our borders, or that we have to provide illegal aliens American jobs and allow them to vote?

What is all of this social re-engineering of America really all about, this “Change?”

Who in the hell do you think you guys are?

DETAINEE TRIALS: Rubbing Our Faces In It

The scum who killed 3,000 on our soil now get all of the benefits of free trials, paid for by us. These trials will surely last months each, probably years. Every day, the liberal media and press will have the opportunity to rub our faces in the everlasting stench of those days and to offer forth reasons why it was "our fault." This Administration has extended to such war criminals the Miranda Rights on the field of battle and now extends to them the system of justice which they fight to destroy every day of our lives. In the meanwhile, our President vacillates over what to do next in Afghanistan?

Last year, members of the Black Panther Party interfered with the election polling process; in an overt attempt to influence the outcome of the election, they intimidated voters. They were arrested, charged, tried and found guilty. Our current Attorney General, who now takes charge of war criminal trials, subsequently dismissed all charges against those individuals.

It is becoming more and more clear to me that we now have a Marxist Muslim government. This is an outrage. We simply must come to grips with what is happening to our country and we must steadfastly resolve to set things straight...ASAP.

ARE OBAMA’S “ROOTS” COMING BACK TO HAUNT HIM?

I think we have all been wondering why Obama seems to be so feeble in reaching a decision on Afghanistan. Nine years ago, Islamic Al-Queda trained radical extremists brought down the World Trade Center, took out a major portion of the Pentagon, caused national heroes to give their lives to keep another plane from destroying who knows what and 3,000 people died. It was subsequently learned that those terrorists who carried out the deed had trained in Afghanistan with the full support of the Taliban.

Today, we occupy Afghanistan and we are at war with the Taliban. Those in charge on the ground are requesting more troops, warning that failure to comply could result in our losing the war. That request came two months ago and has yet to be acted upon. The President couldn’t agree with the commanders and establish a “War” Council to examine and recommend options. They did so, and Obama summarily dismissed all of the options.

What is it that he is looking for?

The clue may well be in another horrific tragedy that occurred in Fort Hood. Major Nidal Hasan shot down and killed 13 people, (one pregnant), and injured 30 more in an act that is becoming more and more tied directly into radical Islamic extremist terrorism, with its ultimate root ties to Al Queda. Now comes the revelation that Hasan is Muslim and a radical at that. He is “conflicted” between his Americanism and his extremist views. He openly says that he cannot come to grips with the thought of a Muslim American, (him), having to kill other Muslims.

Is that the ultimate question facing Barack Hussein Obama today? Is he facing a conflict between what he knows will happen to America if we get out of Afghanistan and the thought of sending in more Americans to kill Muslims?

You see, up until now, he could claim and reconcile within himself that this is Bush’s war. But, the minute that he makes a decision as to what to do, it becomes HIS war. Could it be that he really wants someone else to say…. “Let’s get out,” so that we Americans cannot blame him for the loss of the war or any resulting acts of terrorism that occur here? That gets him off the hook with his internal Muslim conflicts and protects him politically, as well.

Whether or not you believe that Obama is Muslim, you must agree that he had a strong Muslim upbringing. Because he has been very secretive about his life, we do not know if he had radical extremist teachings or not. What we DO know is that he has shown unequivocal signs of leadership weakness on this issue. We DO know that he had said, during his campaign, if the decision he had to make was between America and the Islamic faith, he would choose Islam.

The clock ticks on.

WHICH WILL BE WORSE: 9/11 OR 11/7?

Who can forget the horror of watching 3,000 Americans perish in flames on September 11, 2001? Who can forget the sudden, cutting realization that we, the greatest civilization ever created (except, perhaps, for Rome) were totally and completely vulnerable right here on our own soil? All of us, every last one of us, understood that the enemy was out to destroy everything we stand for and everything we cherish, and that we were ripe for the plucking.

Democrats, Republicans, browns, blacks, whites…. We all vowed to get the bastards who had done this to us and to never let it happen again. American flags hung from almost every doorstep. Within 12 months or less, the wheels of patriotism fell off the track and Republicans and Democrats were back to back-stabbing, bickering, name calling, whoring, drinking and spending.

How soon we forget.

Wednesday, tragedy struck again on our soil. 13 Americans were gunned down at Fort Hood and 31 were injured by an Islamic who had, rational or not, decided that we had a debt to pay. This was just another in a recent series of events, mainly the successful breakup and arrests of several radical cells located in our cities who have been engaged in acts of doing harm to our country.

“My God,” we ask ourselves, “Is our country in danger again? Does the fact that top White House officials openly praise Mao Tse Tung while our President consents really mean anything?

The answer is “Yes, we are in grave danger.” But, although dangers from radical Islam are ominous, the most severe danger to our freedoms and liberties are right here within our government and today, or late tonight / early tomorrow, a full-frontal assault against Americanism will take place. Our House of Representatives…the people we elected to protect us and to represent us, are going to sell our country and the souls of our children to the devil. They are going to take away from us our control and our personal right to control our medical care. Under the guise of “fixing things,” they are going to take our right to choose and they are not going to fix a damned thing in the process.

They are not capping malpractice awards. They are not lowering the costs of drugs. They are not reigning in the costs of insurance. They are not providing incentives for more students to get into medicine. Yes, they are raising taxes, they are raising insurance costs and decreasing benefits, they are funding abortions, they are providing for insurance for illegals at our expense, they are penalizing our seniors…. But these issues merely disguise the fact that our government is taking away from us our liberties and our rights.

They have ignored the protests of Americans across the political spectrum. They have chastised us and called us names. They have sent their thugs to try and silence us. And now, they are going to do it to us; they are going to take the ultimate step of defying our Constitution and taking away from us our unalienable rights.

This is not about GOD BLESS AMERICA. This is about GOD DAMN CONGRESS. We can and we must stand shoulder to shoulder and we must do whatever it takes, however many miles we must walk, regardless of sacrifice, to protect our liberties and our freedoms.

We must do it now. It is truly us vs. them, do or die.

ELECTION DAY, NOVEMBER 2009: I would suppose that, before the day is over, Sean Hannity and the Republican Party are going to be running around the streets shouting with glee that the Obama era is over and the Republicans have been redeemed.

They seem oblivious to the fact that, going into this election, only 25% of Americans have a favorable view of the Republican Party. If the Republicans continue to conduct themselves in their self-centered narcissistic way, I would suspect that they will be hovering around 10% before week’s end.

The plain simple fact is, the only two things that Americans despise more than the Republican Party right now are Congress and President Obama. The GOP may want to grab on to even the slightest of victories as a reason to celebrate in attempt to shake off their doldrums, but it’s not going to work.

We Americans have had our fill, right up to our eyeballs and ears, of the spending, lies, corruption, ethics violations, disrespect for Americans, and total destruction of the fundamental values upon which this country was founded… overt derelictions of duty as far as I am concerned… by members of both political parties.

We’re fed up, we’re pissed off and we’re ready to do something about it.

Hold on to your jockstraps, Washington. We are poised to take our country back.

UNITED WE STAND

Here we are, facing a President and a Congress who are collectively giving Americans “the bird.” For months, Democrats, Republicans, independents, blacks, whites, Native Americans, Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Buddhists, liberals, conservatives, short people, fat people, tall people, thin people…. Citizens of all types and ages showed up at Town Hall meetings and made their displeasure with the proposed government-run health care system well known. Millions of emails, faxes and letters flooded Washington and hundreds of thousands traveled to Washington to demonstrate their positions against this “plan.”

The two Houses of Congress have each moved their versions of the plan, which has ballooned from 1,000 pages to 1,990, to their respective floors. While our President runs around shaking hands and promising that it’s a “done deal,” and “great for the country,” our Senate Majority Leader and House Speaker have both announced that they will pass their respective legislations within the week and that within a very short time after that, a compromise Bill will be passed for the President to sign.

Only 37% of Americans think “the plan” is a good idea. About 26% of Americans think the government is headed in the right direction. 59% of Americans want to replace their Congressional delegations. Yet, Obama, Reid and Pelosi continue to move their cram-down forward, seemingly oblivious to what America wants. Obviously, they have the power, and they intend to use it. So, shut up and get out of the way?

My fellow Americans, this is where the rubber meets the road. This is the true test of what you believe in and how willing you are to stand up for it. You can let these two-bit bastards, and that is basically what they are, run over your beliefs and pound your patriotism into the asphalt. Or, we can stand together, shoulder to shoulder, regardless of individual differences, and we can inundate them with faxes, emails, phone calls…. Whatever it takes to get them to listen to the message. They’ll probably turn off the Congressional email site again, but we can be heard.

I do not believe that any one faction of Americans has the power to rule over the rest. Members of Congress and occupants of the White House are in the clear minority. There are only about 700 of them and tens of millions of us. WE have the power. WE must stand up against this horrible travesty in the making. WE must seize back the reins of governance and WE must drive these calloused, insensitive pitiless idiots from office. We can’t wait until tomorrow or the next day… We need to stand together and do it now.

We cannot let them divide us by race, religion, politics, color, sex, or politics. We must not let them pit us against ourselves any longer. This is the time of reckoning. This is OUR country. This is OUR government. The scalawags must face the music.

It's no longer even something you can poke fun at. It's an outrage. The Senate version is over 1,500 pages. The House version is over 1,900 pages. This is the response to the summer Town Hall meetings where Americans expressed their opinions that they do not want this government-run Health Care package as it is written? This is their response to polls holding that 90% of Americans are happy with their current plans? Their response is just to leave everything the same, but obscure the details with more pages?

FEDERAL BAN AGAINST ACORN FUNDING ENDS

The illustrious United States Congress, always one to buffalo Americans into thinking that we should trust them because they give a damn about us, our money, crime, and corruption....told us that they were banning ACORN from getting any more Federal funding.

That's where they stopped.

What they didn't bother to add was that the ban expires October 31, 2009 and there are currently no plans to extend that ban or to make it permanent.

Now, Mr. and Mrs. America, when are we going to have enough of their lies, lies, lies, deception and more lies? This is OUR country, godammit!

HALLOWEEN SHORT SHOTS

It’s been much too long since I posted some short shorts. But, news has been so crappy coming out of Washington these days that I have been distracted…

It seems as if the White House has taken a page from the Soviet Block and set up an Iron Curtain around 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It is rapidly becoming an “Us vs. Them” mentality. Those goombahs don’t understand that they work for us and we have a right to know what’s going on in our government. One would certainly expect that, especially after Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, they’d be trying to mend fences instead of building them…..

Do you realize it’s been over two weeks now that Obama hasn’t been out of the country? And, it’s been over two MONTHS since news of a great sex scandal has surfaced in Congress…. Wow.

Here’s my stock tip. Find out who manufactures the green ink for our currency and invest everything you have in that company, because we’re now out of money and we have to print tons more to cover Cap & Trade, Health Care, and the T.C.P. problem…. (Thought Control Police).

Warren Buffet is said to be working on a way to harness all of the potential energy from the natural gas being emitted from Capitol Hill. I hear he’s been following Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid around…

There’s no truth to the rumor that ACORN is investigating CIA spooks for Eric Holder… But, as for the gossip that the S.E.I.U. is organizing the Secret Service, I can’t say. (I suppose I’ll hear from Jimmy Carter, Billy Clinton and Bill Cosby for using “that” word,).

Speaking of Halloween, I hear they’re throwing a big party on The Hill and Nancy Pelosi is going as a vampire bat. Barney Frankfarter is attending as a blubbering idiot. Harry Reid will be in a “Mr. Clean” costume. Charlie Wrangel and Chris Dodd will be in charge of fund raising and ticket sales…..

Quipping right along, Reid, Dodd, Baucus and "Mr. Congeniality" Rambo Emmanuel have been huddling behind closed doors, trying to put a band-aid on the Health Care Plan….. Who knows what they’re dreaming up? Maybe Jack Kevorkian can give them some advice on how to take care of senior citizens…..

Judging by the news, I don’t think we have to worry about the overseas terrorists anymore…. They’re all here in the U.S.

And, the short little Korean has surely been giving us the “Moon,” hasn’t he? Maybe we should nickname him “Johnny Rocket.” Meanwhile, the Russians are jumping up and down in wild anticipation of being able to process Iranian uranium; I wonder what’s up with that?

Ambulance attendants are now planning to charge extra for hauling overweight people to the hospital. In order to determine who has to pay more by the ton, all emergency vehicles will be equipped with scales. Fatsos can officially also be ridiculed and denigrated, but the national obese epidemic will be cured when Washington outlaws french fries and chocolate and starts jacking up insurance rates under the new government-run health plan.

The Administration plans to put limits on how much you can get paid. At the same time, they’re scheming to remove limits on what you can be taxed.

Since the economy has decimated discretionary income, the American cruise ship industry is suffering and desperately needs a stimulus. My recommendation is definitely a “win-win” situation. We can take all of the illegal immigrants, (undocumented aliens or whatever you want to call them), and load them onto the cruise ships. Since cruise ships have medical facilities, that also solves the issue of free health care to illegals. If we have a Mexican Mariachi Band on each ship, and if we anchor the ships on the Potomac, then Congress and the White House can be serenaded with the “Amnesty Rhumba.” (Sorry, Ms. Pelosi, that I came up with the idea first,).

Remember the flap about taxing farmers and ranchers who have cows, because cows emit too much flatulence, and flatulence causes global warming? This year, if you noticed, they had the earliest snow falls ever recorded in the states where we raise the most cows. And, that’s no bull.

YOUR REAL COST OF GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE

This will be a short, not-so-sweet snippet to give you something to mull over before you call, write, fax or visit your Congressional delegates.

I don’t care how they maneuver or hide the figures, we’re talking over $1 trillion for the government cost. That works out to $3,333 for every man, woman and child in the country. Then, they are going to cut Medicare reimbursements by $500 billion, a figure that every senior is going to have to pony up to cover the resulting gaps. Based on 50 million seniors, that’s $10,000 each. Then, the insurance companies who still face enormous malpractice awards, pharmaceutical costs and hospital charges, are going to raise premiums an estimated $4,000 per insured over the course of the next ten years.

That adds up to $17,333 in additional costs per year for seniors by 2019.

How in the hell do they figure seniors are going to be able to come up with that kind of money?

This is the time in life when we all must face the fact that the rubber is meeting the road. Every dream that we have as Americans, every memory we have of our heritage, and every hope that we have for our children and their children is in our hands and the enemy within is trying savagely and desperately to snatch the ball from us and to create the fumble that will bury our way of life now and forever. Totalitarianism, dictatorship and Marxism are pounding on our doors and we, the real people, have to do something about it.

Inch by inch, freedom by freedom, they are stealing our country away from us. They deny us the right to speak openly and freely about matters that concern us. They shout us down and call us names when we voice our opinions. They steal away from us our rights to religious beliefs. They mislead and misrepresent the truth to us through misinformation, disinformation, and outright lies. They tell us what to think and how to act and they call us names and talk down to us when we assert our American rights.

They would have us live in fear, afraid to walk on the streets. They allow thugs and thieves to stalk our parks, to rape our women and children, and to be turned loose upon us again because they interpret our laws they way they want them to read. They have corrupted our justice system and stolen our equality. They allow judges, politicians and government servants to be bribed and corrupted and they sneer at us when we question what they are doing to us.

They want to dictate to us what to eat, what car to drive, what doctor to see, how much we can weigh, what house we can own and whether or not we can buy a sports team. They are indoctrinating our children in our schools into their political ideologies and at our expense. They are engaged in taking our hard-earned money and giving it to those who sit on their duffs and acts as their androids.

Enough is truly enough. They have used our liberties and rights against us and they have almost defeated us. But, we are strong and determined that our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, both written and defended with the blood of our forefathers, shall prevail. We are Americans. We will rise to the challenges presented to us by the enemies within. We will stand together, shoulder to shoulder, elbow to elbow, Christians and Jews, Democrat and Republican, black and brown and white and native, Irish, English, Indian, Hispanic, Italian… We are Americans and we will not allow our dreams to die or our liberties to fade on this hour, day or year now or forever.

We will yell and scream and fight to our dying days… In the streets, in Town Halls, on the air, in the papers. We have the right to speak. We have the right to be heard. We have the right to determine our future and we have the right to eliminate from our midst those traitors to our country who would try to shut us up and get us out of the way. We can, we must and we shall prevail.
