They stood fast through threats, cajoling, lies, spins... even talk-downs from the Romneys, Kristols and Grahams of the world... and they wrestled control of the Republican Party back from the elitist establishment that has threatened the very roots of American democracy over and over and over again.
And they proved that they can pull together, they can stand strong in the face of adversity and they can succeed in taking back our country from the negative forces that have been camping out on the steps of our nation's capitol for at least 24 years.
But they understand they cannot let their guards down. The lesson that it's WE the people who control this government has not yet been driven entirely home; we have a long way to go. But, it's a start... a good start... and we need to be proud of ourselves and to pat ourselves on the back; we certainly know that the Clintons, the Obamas, the Warrens, the Pelosis, the Reids, the Grahams, the Romneys of the country will be the last ones on the face of the earth to do it.
