ROMNEY WIN IS NOT THE END OF GINGRICH

The Republican hierarchy and the media would have us believe that the win in Florida yesterday by Mitt Romney spells the end of the Gingrich candidacy. Don't believe it.

Mitt Romney has nowhere near the number of delegates in his pocket to secure the Republican nomination. In fact, you could say that the real battle for the heart and soul of the Republican Party has now been joined. It seems to me to be clear that there now only two serious candidates for the nomination: Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. I think that the vast majority of Santorum and Paul supporters will eventually get behind Gingrich.

I cannot sit here and say that I am enthralled with either Romney or Gingrich. But, when you really look at the backgrounds of both, you have no realistic choice other than to pick Gingrich. He is by far the most qualified and most capable of the two; Romney's track record is nowhere near a shining star as the Republican hierarchy would have us believe.

$16.4 TRILLION & MADDER THAN HELL

Boththe Republicans and Democrats have been screwing America for decades. We need to clean house on both sides of theaisle and restock with some patriots who believe in our country and who arewilling to stand up and do what is right, as opposed to what is politically orpersonally expedient.

Ilook back to the ObamaCare debacle. Although the vast majority of Americans were against it at the time,they passed it anyway and… some Republicans joined the circus. Not only is this bill a total disservice tothe American public, it is costing us an arm and a leg that Obama’s mathematicianstold us would save us money.

Thereare countless examples of what the dirty government has done to us. Back in August, the heat was on from the publicover the budget and the deficit. Standard & Poors had just downgraded our credit rating and Congresspunted the issue to November and the “Super Committee.” That magnanimous move, of course, failed. What we, the Americans who really have the authorityto run this government, were not told was that the maneuver included an automaticincrease in the national debt. So, thenational debt now escalates to $16.4 trillion and there’s not a damned thing wecan do about it. Oh, and by the way,both Republicans and Democrats participated in that pile of bull.

I’mmadder than hell. Our government doesn’tseem to give a s—t about what we Americans think. They violate what is supposed to beconfidence, confidence that we can trust our elected officials to do what wewant them to.

Wesurely need to clean out the scum in 2012.

OBAMA'S GREAT "JOBS" DECEPTION

For almost three years now, His Imperial Majesty has been saying he's going to turn his attention to growing the number of jobs in the country. And... what has he accomplished? Nothing.

"Wait a minute!" you argue, the unemployment rate has gone down. Well, yes, that is true, but the number of people out of work has gone up. Now, what figure do you really want to use as a yardstick?

Recently, Obama turned down the Keystone Pipeline project that would have created tens of thousands of direct and indirect jobs. How does that fit in with his great plan? And something else that no one is talking about is the reduction in defense spending. Do you have any idea how many direct and indirect jobs are going to be lost? Just think about the defense industry that supplies parts, materiel, ammunition and consultants to the Pentagon; how many people will be affected?

In this case for certain, his actions speak much louder than his words.

JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE AN OUTSIDER...

I think we'd all like to see the "insiders" in Washington replaced with outsiders because the insiders have been screwing up the country for far too long. But, be careful: I am quick to realize that just because you are an outsider does not mean you are the best qualified for the office. For example, we all know what a rotten President Barack Obama is. But, would you rather have Obama, (an insider), or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, (an outsider)? How about Charlie Sheen?

The point is... A candidate should be evaluated on his overall attributes. Certainly, being an outsider scores in his favor but what about one's ability to make valid decisions? Mitt Romney is an outsider, but how did he handle the issue of his income taxes? Do his remarks about "only making" $350,000 in speech appearances last year indicate he is an elitist snob, like the guy who already occupies the White House? Do his actions at Bain Capital support a growing contention that he is a ruthless businessman with no fundamentally compassionate understanding of humanity?

What we need to do is to not only stop and visualize the forest through the trees, we need to focus on the tree that we like and see what condition it is really in. If it is infested with the bark beetle, perhaps we need to look for another tree.

GINGRICH SOARS; ROMNEY IN TROUBLE

Newt Gingrich not only came from behind to win in South Carolina, it was a 15% edge over Romney. The result? A shellacking.

Furthermore, Romney only eked out about 20% of the vote, his lowest collection of votes so far. He has consistently been at around 25% in the polls since day one. It would be more respectable if he had his 25% or so and Newt had his 40%, but a 20% vote means that Romney has faced a double whammy. It would appear to me that, if Newt can stay on message and avoid negative attacks, Newt now stands a better than 50% chance of being the Republican nominee.

Santorum will drop out after Florida and endorse Newt. Paul will stay in until the bitter end, because he wants to collect delegates and have a significant voice at the convention.

Let us hope that Gingrich does in fact win the nomination. Romney doesn't stand a chance against Obama in my humble opinion.

OBAMA IS LIKE IRAN: VOLATILE

Ithas often been said that our chief concern about Iran should be the possibilitythat they might start believing some of their own rhetoric and take somefoolish military action. In other words,they are volatile.

Backhome, it appears to me that Obama has realized he may not get reelected and hasdecided to get as much of his agenda passed as he can before he leavesoffice. That is also volatile. He’s decided to go back after total controlover the Internet. Despite widespread supportfor the project, he’s decided to kill the Canadian oil pipeline that would bothcreate needed jobs in this country and help resolve our energy crisis.

He now proposes to have a one-on-one meeting with the leaders of Iran and to make commitmentsto them without approval by the State Department or Congress in an effort toget them to back down. And, while he’stalking, they will be finishing up the details on their nuclear weaponsambitions. I’m not against talking, butit sounds to me as if he is caving in and prepared to give our country away inorder to avoid looking bad to the Nobel Peace Prize committee.

I’vesaid it before and will say it again. Obama is vindictive and is dangerous for our country and he needs to beremoved from office.

OBAMA’S LOUSY DECISIONS ARE HIS OWN

Itis frequently said that Obama has surrounded himself with people who give badadvice. The fact is that he isolateshimself from his top aides and makes his own decisions, virtually independentof what anyone else in the White House thinks or advises. Obama rarely discusses major issues and, whenhe does, frequently ignores any advice given.

Therefore,Obama bears the true responsibility for leading the nation the way that hedoes. Yet, he doesn’t seem to likemaking decisions and, indeed, has shown that he often needs to be pushed into acorner before he will respond. At thatpoint, it appears that he gives knee-jerk reactions without solid advice andforethought.

Theseare not the traits of good, sound leadership; instead, they are traits mostoften exemplified by dictators… refusing to listen to others and making defiantdecisions at precipitous moments. Heneeds to be replaced.

NLRB KILLING AMERICAN JOBS

TheNational Labor Relations Board, which is supposed to protect American jobs andkeep a level playing field in the labor market, now consists of entirelypro-union members, thanks to Obama’s illegal “recess” appointments. Foreign investors considering opening plantsand businesses in the United States are backing away in fear of being saddledwith union issues. American companiesconsidering expansion of their work force are pulling in their horns; as abusiness labor force increases in size, the likelihood of union organizationincreases.

But,the damage to America’s labor goes beyond that. The NLRB required every American business to post a notice telling employees they have a right to organize, strike and picket. It has dramatically shortened the timebetween when a group first decides to unionize and the effective date of theorganization, thereby reducing the amount of time a business has to fight theunionization. It has severely restrictedthe right of business to communicate with employees about the unionizationprocess. If the majority of employees ina business vote against a union shop, the union can organize units within thebusiness, thereby creating a hostile working environment. And the NLRB is making it almost impossiblefor a business to consult with their attorneys regarding unionregulations.

Notonly will the price of American goods ultimately go up, but the number ofAmerican jobs going overseas will increase, giving the country a doubleeconomic whammy. Obama, however, showsno signs of changing from his totally socialist-Marxist agendas. He continues to tear apart the fabric ofAmerica.

TEA PARTTIES MAY FACE EXTINCTION

It's a fact that the influence of the various Tea Parties on national and state politics has been in the decline. Commonly speaking, they want to see government spending brought under control and they want tax issues resolved. They played a very prominent role in the 2010 elections and were directly responsible for bringing the House of Representatives under Republican control.

Nevertheless, a well-organized anti-Tea Party blitz by the media and the Democrats has neutralized the splintered groups to a great degree. Most Americans support the Tea Party movement and its objectives, but the number of people attending meetings and rallies has dropped nationally.

The Tea Parties have done a great service for this country. They have brought public awareness to the continuing dirty deeds that are being done in Washington. It is vital that they continue in this endeavor and that they are successful in achieving their goals. In order to accomplish this, they simply must evolve into a cohesive national organization with stated political objectives. Such an evolution would breathe life support into splintered dying organizations and provide a platform for continuation of service to America.

This may, or may not, evolve into the Tea Party putting up its own candidates for local, state and national offices. Given the propensity for the Republican Party to act like Democrats, such a move would not be a bad idea. In the final analysis, it's do or die time for the Tea Parties and, in my humble opinion, they need to "do." At a time of severe danger to our future, our country is depending on them to lead the charge.

US ECONOMY NEAR COLLAPSE

Notonly is the worsening situation in Greece pushing the US toward an economiccollapse, but there are several key indicators that are ominously pointing inthat direction as well. As of thismoment, a contest between major world economies to see who can devalue theircurrency the quickest is heating up. Devaluation is caused by printing more money, and the US is leading thatcharge. When you compare the value ofthe dollar against the gold standard and countries who have not been devaluingtheir currency, the picture becomes very clear. For example, in 1999, you could buy an ounce of gold for $275; now itcosts $1,700, a devaluation of 83.9%! When you compare the dollar to the Canadian dollar or the Swiss franc,the dollar has been devalued by 40% just in the last few years.

Realunemployment is at 23%, a level not seen since the Great Depression. If we had discontinued paying outunemployment benefits, we would already be in a serious depression.

Housingforeclosures have continued at Depression Level rates; banks are beginning toslow down foreclosures in many markets simply because they have absolutely nochance to resell them. The vast majorityof the country owes more on their homes than their homes are worth and there isno sign of that fact changing soon; this means that more Americans are willingto walk away from their homes and rent. The three worst states for foreclosures are California, Nevada andArizona.

Corporationsare cash rich, simply because they don’t want to invest their money in theuncertain economic climate, with higher taxes and the new ObamaCare looming. Their lack of investment and hiring continuesto push the economy down. With theChinese economy starting to sputter, the possibility of a severe global depression isnow turning into probability.

Youneed to do what the corporations are doing: conserve cash. Put it into low risk financial institutions;stay away from those who were recently borrowing money from the feds. Don’t stick anything into the stock market;low risk bonds are okay for the time being. Don’t buy anything on credit and buy only what you absolutely haveto. Continue to pay down your debt, butremember to keep cash at hand because, even though your debt is lower, you maynot be able to borrow any money from anyone.

Theseare scary times. Pay close attention towho you elect in November.

TIME IS NOT IN OUR FAVOR

On Saturday, I alluded to the fact that we Americans have got to quit bellyaching about our frustrations and disgust with Washington and we need to get to the polls and do something about it. The more I talk with people, the more agreement there is that the country is in a drastic decline, that things are terribly wrong in our nation's capitol and that we cannot wait any longer before we do something about it.

Procrastination is not an option. Now is the time for all good men and women to come to the aid of their country. The truth is that we are not going to bounce back this time as we have in the past. We have bounced back from national problems before, but we had leadership in place at the time that was prepared to step up to the plate and lead us in the bounce-back.

We don't have that leadership today.

So, we need to change our leadership. The only we we can do that is to go and vote in the primaries and in November, and we have to vote with vengeance and conscience. Only 11% of Americans have confidence in Congress; to me, that means we need to get rid of 89% of the current members. Since 2/3 of the Senate is not up for reelection, we need to replace everyone else... Senators and Representatives alike. Party doesn't make a difference; if they're running for reelection, they need to go.

How can I say that? Because they are part of the Washington establishment. If they have been there for more than a two-year term, they have become infected with the stench that we Americans are tired of smelling. This means you have to vote, I have to vote and we need to drag our friends and neighbors along with us.

It doesn't take any brains; we can be lazy and not study the candidates. All we have to do is vote against all incumbents. If an incumbent is already out and we have a real choice, then vote for the guy you like. See how simple it is? But, it is vitally important to the security and future of our country that we eliminate the "establishment" right now. Time has run out.

Iapologize for the lack of posting. Whenyou are away from home and in a remote area, getting internet access that youcan use is often frustrating. I do havethe ability to connect through cell phone towers, but you have to be close toone to use it. I’m up on the OlympicPeninsula in northwestern Washington State where the nearest liquor store is 65miles away; now, that’s remote!

Asyou know, Washington is predominantly a Democrat state. I think the last time they had a Republicangovernor here was in 1578, and he was hung before the end of his firstterm. So it is that I have been keepingmy conservative leanings to myself, which leads me to the ability to make somepretty interesting observations.

Peoplehere are not any happier with government in Washington D.C. than they are innorthern California or anywhere else in the country. As a matter of fact, they seem to bedisillusioned and frustrated beyond words. I ran across one old codger who claims to have been a staunch Democratsince time immemorial who now says he will vote for a Republican for President…any Republican… if Obama is on the Democratic ticket in 2012. And, there is a multitude of people who wouldvery much like to tie Congress up and burn them all at the stake.

Isuppose I should take comfort in the fact that I am not alone; I'm not even in the minority. Far from it, Americanseverywhere have had it up to their ears with “Washington politics as usual.”

Itis my sincere hope that this angst will develop past the talking and ventingstages and turn into action at the polls in November. Weneed to replace all of those guys who are part of the problem and definitelynot part of the solution.

SICK, SICK, SICK

I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of the elections already and we still have eleven months to go.

Obama can't make a decision, not even to decide when to go to the toilet, without examining the political ramifications as to whether he should go on the first floor or the second floor... (play on words intended). For him, it never has been what's best for the country, it's been what is best for his socialist agenda. So, he's back on the campaign trail in full lie and spin mode.

Over on the Republican side, they are so tired of being tolerant of each other that they can't stand it. The dirty political ads are already on the air waves and with Romney's multi-million dollar war chest, it can't help but to get worse as the weeks and months go on. We've got as many guys running for the presidential nomination as there are on the Supreme Court, and they're now in full incivility mode. With the exception of Newt Gingrich who has been reasonably civil up until now, can you imagine any one of them being able to get along with Congress if they can't get along with each other?

Happy New Year? I don't think so. The stench of the dirty and rotten nastiness that permeates Washington politics is wafting out on the countryside, and I just wish they would all dry up and blow away.

THE GROWING NUCLEAR CONUNDRUM

The Saudis have announced that they wish to start their own nuclear weapons program. This substantiates my previous position and the position of others that allow Iran to have nukes will open the door to the entire Middle East having nukes.

And won't that be a fine kettle of brewing stew, with Libya, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Qatar, The Emirates, Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey and Israel all having "The Bomb?" Just how many days do you think it would take for the entire Middle East to incinerate itself?

Well, on second thought, maybe that's not a bad idea. Except that one of those donkeys, probably Iran or Syria, is certainly going to have to lob one of those nukes off at Israel and that will start World War III.

The world has been able to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons through the strength of the existing nuclear "club," of which the leader has traditionally been the U.S. However, we have lost our strength in the eyes of the world, thanks to Barry and his Nobel Peace Prize; what we see happening in Iran is the result.

It is obvious that the reelection of Obama to the Presidency would in fact be dangerous to world peace.

OBAMA GEARS UP FOR MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD

The Obama Administration is deliberately opening the doorfor massive voter fraud in the 2012 elections. They are taking every possiblestep to see that illegal aliens gain the right to vote, although our electionslaws specifically say that you must be a U.S. citizen to have that right. They are fighting any and all attempts byindividual states to crack down on illegal immigration according to U.S. lawand they are refusing to enforce that law themselves. They are also fighting to prevent states fromrequiring identification of voters.

The tactics they areusing are reminiscent of Chicago-style politics and patterned after Nazi andSoviet strategies. Our national media, totally under control of the Obamaadministration, is complicit in the crime by failing to report on it completelyand accurately.

It will take total awareness and the total rejection of theseactivities by the American people to prevent this obvious attempt to retainpolitical control of the country by incompetent thugs.

CONGRESS ENDS THE YEAR WITH ANOTHER LUMP OF COAL

Congress passed a two-month extension to the payroll tax cutand unemployment benefits this week and added to the large pile of dung it hadalready laid upon the American public in previous months. The failure… the utter refusal… to deal withthe deficit and to put in place meaningful and lasting debt reduction was thehighlight of their dysfunction. A closesecond was their willingness to let the national credit rating slip and thenthe administration followed up by sicking regulatory authorities on Standard& Poor’s for actually doing the dirty deed.

Bickering was the order of the day as their approval ratingslipped down, down, down to 11%. Theyrepaid the general public by foisting upon it this two-month “deal,” a dealthat leaves both American business and the public in limbo for financialplanning. Scrooge himself could not havecarried out the scenario with greater infuriating pageantry.

Congress is not broken. The American character of the people in Congress has deteriorated to a despicablelevel. They are useless in theirpositions and have graduated to the point of doing far more harm to the countrythan good. It would therefore be to ourbenefit if they did not meet again until 2013.

At the very least, we need to stand together and ask for God’shelp in removing every last one of the riffraff from office next year. Change? Yes, we need to change the dirty diaper of Washington, before the stenchoverwhelms us.

That’s MY sad AMERICAN OPINION this Christmas.

MY REPUBLICAN PICK FOR PRESIDENT

We're just two weeks from the Iowa primaries and ready to begin a six-month primary season. The time has come for me to stick my next out and make an endorsement.

The problem is that, like you, I don't have the warm fuzzies for any current Republican in the field. Yet, one has to make a pick. It is much easier for me to say who I don't like: Romney, the closet liberal and Perry, the Bush III. The ones I consider worthy of mention are Gingrich and Bachmann; Paul is just too radical for the country at this time. The rest are yawners.

So, that gets me to Bachmann. I just don't think she has the horsepower to be President. I like her and her ideals, but Obama has saddled this country with enormous problems as a result of his gross mismanagement. I can't see Bachmann working her way through them. But, she IS my second choice.

That leaves us with Newt. Newt CAN out-debate Obama. Newt has some good ideas. Yes, he does have some baggage, but far less than Romney as far as I am concerned. And, if we do our job and get rid of the irresponsible and non-responsive members of Congress, (95% of them), we should have a fresh Congress willing to keep the President in line and to work with him toward resolving these big issues. Gingrich has a proven track record of working with both sides of the aisle in getting things done.

There is a caveat to this endorsement, so I will word it this way: Given the current candidates for the Presidency, I endorse Newt Gingrich. He's the best overall candidate of the lot. And that, if you examine each of them carefully as I have been doing, is a very logical conclusion.

EPA ON THE RAMPAGE!

In the name of "sustainable development," the EPA wants to change the way they handle problems and make decisions in such a manner that the EPA will gain enormous power to further regulate businesses, communities and ecosystems.

As you well know, the EPA is already running amok. Expanding their power at a time when we need to be decreasing government influences in our daily lives is not good thinking by any means. When you have a government agency that has the power to dictate to you as an individual what kind of light bulbs you must have in your house or how many gallons of water you can use to flush your toilet, you have an agency that has exceeded any level of government power ever contemplated by our forefathers.

What's worse is that all of the agencies under Obama seem to be heading in the direction of expanding their sizes and regulatory authorities; EPA is simply the front-runner. The dirty gun-deals perpetrated by the Department of Justice, the outright stupidity of the Department of Energy loan deals at the behest of the White House....these are all symptomatic of a government that is totally out of control.

All of us as Americans need to stand together and put an end to this way of thinking and doing in November. Let's start by removing every elected official we can from Washington.

SENATORS GOING AROUND THE BEND

A group of Senators has urged the FDA to ban the sale of flavored cigars on the basis that such gimmicks entice teenagers into trying them and getting on the nicotine habit. I guess they are targeting grape flavored, orange, lemon, lime, mint... you name it. A cigar is a cigar in my book, and adding flavor simply destroys the taste buds. I think the whole scenario is not worthy of the Senators' time.

Which brings me to the next point. They simply have too much time on their hands. They meet too often, accomplish nothing, and get paid lavish salaries and God only knows what they get under the table or in secret Swedish bank accounts from lobbyists. That's why whatever they DO manage to pass is generally mundane and stupid.

Which brings me to the final point: Since they have so much time to be legislating on cigar flavors, maybe they could manage to carve out a little time for budgets, taxes, jobs, and the economy. Wellll... Now that I think about it, maybe they just can't handle the jobs for big boys. Maybe we lowly peasants have things upside down. Maybe these bigger challenges belong in kindergarten and we should leave the smaller challenges, such as cigar flavors, in the hands of Congress.

Maybe we should send Howdy Doodie, Big Bird and Mister Rogers over there to the Hill to straighten things out?

NEWT vs. MITT vs. PROGRESSIVE

The anti-Newt Republicans, or the Pro-Romney Twits, are taking a new tack: they're attacking Newt for being a Progressive. Well, I think Newt does have some Progressive in him. But, let's take a closer look.

Barry is as far to the left Socialist-Marxist Progressive as you can get. Ron Paul is as far to the other extreme as you can get. I don't think this country is ready for four more years of extremism. Coming back from Ron toward the middle are the other candidates. Bachmann is far right Conservative and I like her. But, I don't know if the country is ready for her. Perry is right there with her, and I like many things about him, too.

Romney is a closet liberal. He's far more Progressive than Gingrich. Gingrich is a Conservative Progressive. Romney is a liberal Progressive. Progressives want bigger, more socialistic government. Now, Gingerich, on the Progressive scale, is far more conservative than Obama or Romney. On that basis, if you run Paul, Perry or Bachmann, they'll get shellacked by Obama. Romney might win against Obama and I think Gingrich can out-debate Obama any day of the week and will win against Obama. So, if he's less Progressive than Romney, he's an ideal fit. Team him up with Perry or Bachmann or even Palin and I think you really have a winning ticket.

I'm not endorsing Newt yet, but I'm leaning toward doing so. I think this whole argument is detracting from the main goal here, which is NOT to sink Obama, but to restore our country and Gingrich, Perry or Bachmann will do that. Let's keep our eyes on the goal post and not get sidetracked by Romneycrats.

A recent poll finds that only 18% of the people think Congress is doing a good job. Let's face it: there are few, if any, Members of Congress who were there prior to the 2010 elections who are doing a good job. Furthermore, several of the "new guys" have already caved in to the establishment.

I've said it over and over and over again that the problem is systemic; they have created a culture and that culture doesn't give a hoot what you want or think. They don't give a tweet about the Constitution. They don't give a chirp about what is ethical, moral or right for the country. They are in it for themselves and themselves only, which is why they can't get anything done. They are all so busy serving their own interests that they can't coordinate with anyone else.

It's a culture, pure and simple. It is often referred to as "the good old boy" network, or the "Washington Insiders." So, it's not a matter of removing a few; we have to remove them all. Democrat or Republican, these birds of a feather have to be chased out of their roosts... wings, drumsticks, bills and all.

DRONE DOWNING POINTS TO MILITARY STUPIDITY

The recent Iranian downing and capture of an unmannedLockheed-Martin RQ-170 Sentinel stealth drone along the Afghanistan borderraises a lot of questions about the thought processes of the American militaryhierarchy. Why did it take almost a weekfor the U.S. to confirm that it had lost such an aircraft and that Iran most likelyhad it? Don’t we keep closer track ofthese things than that? Didn’t the aircraft ground handler know itwas gone and where it went?

The initial report out of Iran was that it had managed to penetratethe plane’s electronics and to steer to to the ground intact. The U.S. position, when it finally admittedthe plane was missing, was that it must have been shot down and, if so, therewas no way the Iranians could have it on the ground and in one piece. That position has not changed, although wenow know the plane is in fact in Iranian possession and indeed intact. Thepossibility that Iranians are technologically savvy enough to pull this off ismoot; they have a lot of former students who attended MIT, Princeton, Harvardand Stanford.

Now, you have a spy plane that is packed full of top secretelectronic gear. Why wasn’t it alsopacked with self-destruct explosives that would destroy it in the event of sucha capture? And, if it was so armed, whydidn’t it destroy itself before the Iranians got it?

Was somebody asleep atthe switch?

Of course, there is the possibility that we wanted theIranians to capture the aircraft. But,those things are expensive and I cannot imagine why we would do such a thing. The only scenario that makes sense to me isthat our military is not as intellectually sharp as they would have usbelieve. In that case, we’re spending alot of money on a bunch of ill-conceived equipment and plans.

“FAST AND FURIOUS” GETS FAST AND FURIOUS

Things are finally warming up in the Congressionalinvestigation of the Fast and Furious BATFE gun-running scandal. Documentsrecently demanded and finally delivered from the White House indicate that topDepartment of Justice officials knew of, or were in on, the operation from the “gitgo.”

While many Congressional Republicans have been calling forAttorney General Eric Holder to resign, and while he is going to be testifying on theHill this week again, there was a loud clamor yesterday for the immediatefiring of Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer. Breuer evidently testified under oath that heknew nothing of a particular memo and they now have solid evidence that hedid.

Now, I want to be clear and to the point. This scandal could and should bring down the Presidency. TheJustice Department had been openly defiant of Congressional attempts to get atthe truth. Beyond that, the currentAdministration is filled almost to the brim with Chicago Mob-Style crooks andthugs. They report to no one, they takeno prisoners. They are ruining thiscountry. The damage they have alreadydone can never be undone.

They all need to be removed and after we accomplish that, weneed to disinfect the whole damned city of Washington.

WHY NOT TAX THE RICH?

We've all heard the arguments; you can't tax the rich any more because the rich are paying most of the taxes already. Well, I stipulate that as being a fact, that the rich pay most of the taxes. But, upon closer examination, that is the only part of the premise that is true.

Let s ask why the rich pay the majority of the taxes. Since the tax we're discussing is based on income, the answer is that the rich are making most of the money in this country. Logically, if they are making most of the money, they should pay most of the taxes. The question now becomes, are they paying their fair share? Is the proportion of dollar income they pay in taxes comparable to what the middle class pays, (the poor don't pay taxes). I don't think they are.

If Joe Middleclass pays $10,000 in taxes on $50,000 gross income, does Mike Richguy pay $1,000,000 in taxes on $5,000,000 in gross income? I submit to you that Mike is paying far less than the $1,000,000 because he has more write-offs and tax loopholes to take advantage of; he can also hire a good tax accountant, whereas Joe can't. I think Mike is paying closer to $350,000 in taxes and therein lies the rub.

I conclude that some adjustment is indeed in order. We don't have to skin the rich and we want to keep incentives for Americans to want to work hard, invest and grow their wealth. But, we also need to level the playing field. The consistent rhetoric coming out of the Republican Party is falling on deaf ears on this issue.

REPUBLICAN PARTY DYING ON THE VINE?

They make a lot of noise and they sound good, but when itcomes to the clutch, they are worthless. After the 2010 elections, when Americans made it clear that they wanted economicchanges and that they were upset with the spending ways, we were faced with thechallenge of passing a budget with meaningful cuts. The Republicans “fought tooth and nail”against the spending that Obama wanted and, over a few days, the proposed cutswent from $500 billion to $38 billion and the Republicans caved in at $90 million.

In August, Congress wrestled with the debt limit. The Republicans “fought tooth and nail”against raising the ceiling without getting $4 trillion in cuts and they cavedin with a “super committee” deal that would not ever succeed and with a $1.2trillion cut in the budget that still escalated spending by $1 trillion. Then they had the audacity to run around likechickens with their heads cut off while ballyhooing about how this was “onegiant leap for future spending reform.”

How they have to gutsto call the membership of the Republican Party to ask for donations, I will neverknow.

Now, they are dead-set to put a closet liberal andpolitician who is not to be trusted, a guy who invented RomneyCare… on theRepublican ticket for President. Hell,why didn’t they just put up John McCain again? Maybe we could get Jeb Bush or even Bush 1 might run again. Where’s Bob Dole hiding? Could we get Jimmy Carter on our ticket?

The party is becoming irrelevant. I’ve said it before and will say it again: “Whydon’t they just rejoin the Democratic Party and end the charade?”

If they really and truly cared about the future of America,they would change their ways.

OBAMA'S TRASH POLITICS HEATING UP

The Obama campaign has launched it's 2012 campaign ads and has made it clear that it is prepared to spend tens of millions.. even hundreds of millions of dollars in attacking the Republican candidate, Fox News and conservative talk radio. Karl Rove, President Bush's one time Chief of Staff, and other knowledgeable sources are convinced that this will be the dirtiest, most ruthless campaign ever launched by anyone in this country.

The Obama team has nothing to brag about, no achievements to ballyhoo, and many problems to face including the economy. The only position of strength he can take is attack, attack, attack. In my opinion, the American public is sick and tired enough of negative campaigns that this methodology of Obama's may well be his swan song. Indeed, many Democrat Party leaders have begun to turn their backs on Obama.

Nevertheless, the Saul Alinsky Progressive leftists of the country have manage to acquire a great deal of power of these past three years and they are not likely to readily give it up. With the money being raised by Obama, it is apparent to me that they are prepared to do anything necessary to win and, unfortunately, that means more ACORN style election tricks and the probability of outright threats and intimidation.

But, this is the turning point in our history. We must stand together, we must stand strong, and together we must defeat those who wish to turn our country to socialism.

THE ILLEGAL AMNESTY DEBATE

I am the first one to say that our current system of dealingwith illegal immigration sucks. Furthermore,it is unconstitutional because it gives one class of people, illegal Mexicanimmigrants, rights and privileges not provided to other classes.

That having been said, whose fault is it that they arehere? Where does the blame reallybelong? The knee-jerk reaction is, “Ifthey hadn’t crossed the border illegally, we wouldn’t have this problem.” I agree with that premise, but it is not assimple as that.

If you tell your child not to touch the burner or he willget burned and he touches it anyway and does not get burned, you have just lostall of your credibility. Soon, he willbe touching the burner on a regular basis and sticking his tongue out at youwhile he does it. If you reward himunder these circumstances with a lollipop, you’re a goner.

That’s exactly what has happened with the illegalissue. If you can sneak across theborder with your family, your children get a free and much better education,you get welfare and social security, and you get free health care. The odds are that if you get caught, you’renot going to be deported. So, why nottake the risk?

Now you have been here for ten years, you have establishedfriends, you are earning a living and paying your taxes and the governmentwants to deport you? Shouldn’t we reallybe looking at those responsible for establishing the incentives that broughtyou here? In the eyes of the law, our government has created the “attractive nuisance” and it should be held responsible.

The very first thing we have to do is to stop the freebiesfor anyone who makes it across the border after today. We need to seal the borders and provide heftypenalties for crossing it illegally and we need to enforce them. We need to take those who have arrivedrecently, say within the last five years, and deport them. As for the rest, we can give them a two-yearlimited amnesty and give them that length of time to take the classes andbecome U.S. citizens or leave the country. We can also require that theylearn English and obtain employment. Finally, we must enforce the laws against employers who knowingly hireillegal immigrants.

HOW DO WE FIX OUR COUNTRY?

This Thanksgiving weekend, we’ve all been pausing to refreshourselves, to draw a deep breath, to be with family and to recharge ourbatteries. Now comes the question: How to we recharge our country?

If I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a thousand times: “Whathappened to the good old days when our government worked for us?” Therein, my friends, is the answer.

In the good old days, we raised our children with ethics andreligion. In the good old days, wetaught Civics and U.S. History in high schools. In the good old days, we held liars, crooks and unethical people incontempt, particularly if they were in Congress; they’d never stand a chance inhell of being elected to the White House. In the good old days, we didn’t bend or ignore the law if we didn’t likeit; instead, we changed it. In the goodold days, marriage was an institution we were proud to be part of, and weworked our tails off to keep a marriage and a family together.

We can get back tothe “good old days” you know. Of course,we do need to step off this merry-go-round of life that we are on, to get theI-Pods and Kindles out of our faces and to get our heads out of the sand. We need to draw a deep breath and open oureyes and ears to what is going on around us. Then, we have to go to the mirror and look at ourselves and say, “Together,we can do this.”

It’s that simple. Let’sget started today. I call it, “One stepat a time and one giant leap forAmerica.”

The 2012 election is not just about electing a new Presidentor turning over all of the seats in Congress. The 2012 election is about whetheror not we are going to entirely change our system of government from itscurrent Democracy into European-style Socialism or even a SocialisticDictatorship. That’s right; if youthink Obama has ruined this country with his change during his first term, justimagine what we will have if he gets reelected.

You and I both know that, in Obama’s eyes, he will have a “mandate”to continue changing the country into socialism, to totally trash theConstitution and to form a new system of government. If you think for one minute that thisPresident has treated us badly with his cram-downs and cavalier attitude, justreelect him and see what happens.

“Ah!” you scowl, “Obama would never do that!” Just look back over the past three years andask yourself if you are happier now with what is going on in Washington thanyou were before. And ask yourself how hehas already raised more than $86 million toward his 2012 campaign, more thanall Republican candidates combined.

Where does all of that money come from? Do you think it comes from Tom, Dick andHarry next door? Do you think 172 majorcompanies have kicked in $500,000 each already? How much of it comes from Solyndra kickbacks and other suchsources? How much of it comes fromunions? Here’s the real question: if heis going to raise $1 billion as he says he is, how much of that money is going to come from “unidentified foreign sources” suchas what happened in the last election? Iam not kidding here.

If you have serious foreign money coming into this countryto affect our election, just what do you think they want to happen to ourcountry and its government?

Ponder what I have suggested here and start giving someserious consideration as to how you are going to vote in 2012.

WHO FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012?

I have been asked repeatedly who I like for President in2012. Of course, people want me to makemy own insignificant endorsement. I doget a lot of crazy reactions when I say “Obama,” probably because people whofollow my writings know full well how much I despise the weenie.

There is a school of thought out there that the emphasisshould be on who can beat Obama. Thetheory is that Obama must go and that the Republican selection for an opponentshould be based solely on who has the best chance to beat him. My answer to that is, “How about GenghisKhan? Would you prefer him overObama? Or, how about Pee Wee Herman?”

Indeed, we all know what we want in a President. We want someone who can bring the oppositesides of Congress together in the common purpose of working with the Presidentto resolve the serious issues that are facing our nation today, and in the mostexpeditious manner possible. You can adda few lines to that, but I’m sure I have basically summed it up and it doesn’tinvolve getting rid of Obama. The plainsimple fact is that, if you find someone who fits this job description, Obama cannotand will not ever get rehired.

Who among the candidates best fits that description?

Frankly, I think the only candidate who can work bothparties in Congress is Newt Gingrich. Hisexperience and track record as Speaker of the House working with both Clintonand the Republicans produced the “Contract for America.” No other candidate, in my opinion, has thatability.

We also need someone with business understanding andexpertise. I would say that Mitt Romneyand Herman Cain both fit that trait quite well. But, we both know that Mitt is elusive and, I think, a closet liberal;after all, haven’t you heard of Romney Care? Regardless of Romney’s pledge to trash ObamaCare, Romney was the trueauthor of the concept. That speaks tohis liberalism and warped thought processes. Herman, on the other hand, also has a great business track record and he’svery obviously much more conservative than Romney.

Finally, we want someone who is patriotic to the bone,someone who will make decisions for the country that are based on what is bestfor the country in light of our rich democratic heritage. I think Romney is a tad selfish in thatrespect, but Gingrich, Cain and Bachmann are definitely not. Bachmann has become a victim of the far-leftliberal attacks on the Tea Parties, but she has demonstrated a keen interest inthe financial affairs of the country and endless patriotism.

So, at the moment I like Gingrich, Cain and Bachmann. I don’t know that either Cain or Bachmann canbeing Congress together so that we can accomplish what needs to beaccomplished. Frankly, I am inclined tosuggest that Bachmann can do far more to help us in this direction as a Memberof Congress; we need all of the help there we can get.

But, those three are my picks to go forward. Of the three, I think Gingrich could best debate Obama, but that is not MY sole criterion. At some point in the near future I will comeforth with an endorsement and a recommendation on how to go forward. What will happen in the not too distantfuture is that those who do not stand a chance will drop out and endorsesomebody. Percentages will change. But the fact is that Romney hangs in at20-25% consistently which means that 75-80% of Republicans would prefer someoneelse. Just because the liberal mediainsists that he has the best chance of beating Obama is not a valid reason toback him.

For once, I think all of us would like to be in the positionof voting for the guy we like as opposed to having to vote for the lesser oftwo evils. Let’s work together to makeit shape up that way.

"SUPER" COMMITTEE IS A SHAM

The so-called “Super” Committee of twelve Members ofCongress is an outright sham and needs to be regarded as such.

In the first place, let’s set the record straight: They aretalking about reducing proposed spending by $1.2 trillion, but the remainingspending levels will still be far higher than they are today. This is nota cut, it’s a sham. If I raise expenditures by $4 trillion andthen back it off to a $2.8 trillion increase in spending, how can I turn aroundand tell you I just cut spending by $1.2 trillion? That’s the game they are playing and both parties are being complicit.

Before Barry and Harry came up with this great SuperCommittee idea, we were looking to cut $4 trillion off the budget. The plan now is to pass this $1.2 trillion “deal”and placate the American public. If youthink there is even the remotest of intent to cut further after this is done,you have not been studying what Washington does and how they manipulate us.

If they should not pass this sham, don’t think for oneminute that they will pull the “trigger” and cut military spending and raisetaxes. That stipulation will be recalledand sidetracked before you know what has happened. Then, we’ll be back to square one, facingChristmas vacation and we’ll have another punt to February or March. In the meanwhile, Moody’s is already raisingthe possibility that they will join Standard & Poor’s and downgrade U.S.debt.

So, you see, the whole scheme is a sham and we are thegoats. Let’s see what happens nextweek.

LET IRAN HAVE NUKES

I was listening to the news yesterday and suppositions abound that if Iran gets nuclear weapons, the other countries in the region will also start nuclear weapons programs. Of course, the theories continue, war is always inevitable in the Middle East and this all adds up to nuclear wars in the Middle East.

This provokes the question: Would that be bad?

Think about it: If they all go to war against each other using nukes, the end result will certainly be extinction. I submit to you that having all of those weirdo Islamics extinct is not such a bad idea. That's one definite way to get rid of the continuous threat of international terrorism and it would therefore be entirely possible that the world could know peace at last.

Yeah, I know. I should run for President.

WAS THE BLOOD SHED BY VETERANS FOR NAUGHT?

VETERANS DAY WEEKEND

Every year on Veteran’s Day, we pause to salute and to thankour American military veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for God andCountry. Throughout 2-1/2 centuries, ourmilitary has stood ready to risk limb and life to preserve the freedoms andliberties that our forefathers crafted so carefully for us. Cemeteriesthroughout America and overseas contain the bodies of those whose souls were givenin the defense our nation and what we stand for.

Those of us whose ancestors came across the ocean in the1600’s to escape tyranny, those of us whose ancestors fought in the Revolution,the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the Middle East…we know what sacrifices have beenmade in the name of God and Country and it saddens us to see the state of thenation as it exists today. Ourgovernment is encroaching upon virtually every aspect of our lives. Our freedoms are being eroded and we arebeing pushed into economic slavery.

We so desperately need a leader who can unite us in the commoninterest of healing this nation and restoring the values upon which it wasfounded. Surely, there is not one personin Washington, not in Congress and not in the White House, who is or can bethat leader. They are all… each and everyone of them… tainted by the scourge of graft, greed, corruption, debauchery andselfishness.

Once again, the Grand Lady… the Spirit of America… callsupon us to stand together, united in purpose and bound together in the commonbond that built this nation. We must, we simply must, take our countryback.

IRAN REDUX

The Iran hostagecrisis, where 52 Americans were held hostage for 444 days from November4, 1979 to January 20, 1981 after a group of Islamist students and militantstook over the American Embassy in support of the Iranian Revolution, bears someeerie resemblance to the modern day Iranian nuclear threat.

The episode reached a climax when, after failed attempts to negotiate arelease, the United States military attempted a rescue operation on April 24,1980 which resulted in a failed mission, the destruction of two aircraft andthe deaths of eight American servicemen and one Iranian civilian. Jimmy Carterwas President at the time and seemed to be impotent in dealing with theIranians. The hostage situation drug onand on and Carter’s popularity plummeted.

The crisis ultimately ended on January 20, 1981, when the hostages wereformally released into United States custody, just minutes after the newAmerican president Ronald Reagan was sworn in. Reagan, of course, always dealt from a position of strength.

Now we have the Iranians in the very verge of being able to launch a nuke atIsrael or at U.S. forces in Afghanistan. Our current President, Barack Obama, seems to be impotent in dealingwith the situation and it appears to me that only the Israeli government isprepared to deal with the threat. Obamahas made big news by letting it slip in public that he has a great disrespectand dislike of Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu.

It’s a different kind of hostage situation, to be sure. But, it appears to me that Iran once againhas the upper hand and we once again have a weak and incompetent President.

CAIN MAKES ELOQUENT DEFENSE

Herman Cain went public yesterday and defended his integrity and his background. His lawyer spoke first, laying out the fact that trial by innuendo does not afford the accused a fair trial under rules of the Court. Rules are made by the press and subject to the whims of politics.

Herman himself supports the microscopic investigation of Presidential candidates, but only as long as they consist of searches for facts and do not consist of baseless accusations. He said he did not know this new woman and that her allegations were totally false. And he addressed allegations from one employee by saying he knew her, she had filed sexual harassment charges and those charges were found to be baseless.

Now, to the disenchanted Romney crowd, to the biased press and media, and to the Democratic party I say: "Stop this horseshit and grow up. You're making asses out of yourselves."

OUR MODERN AMERICAN MEDICINE

I couldn’t help but think, after the surgery, how lucky wehave been in this country to have things theway they are as opposed to how they couldbe.

In August, I was diagnosed with cataracts by my optometrist. Three weeks later, I saw an ophthalmologistof my choice, who confirmed the diagnosis and scheduled me for surgery. In the old days, just a few decades ago, theyhanded you a really thick pair of glasses and sent you home to eventually gototally blind.

I was in the out-patient surgical chair about 45 minutes and Iwas conscious the whole time. Thebiggest discomfort during the procedure was the multitude of eye drops theyused. Six hours later, I removed the eyepatch and knew immediately that a modern-day miracle had occurred and that I was the beneficiary.

Of course, it was the way our system worked back when I wasyoung and all of the way through modern times that provided for the medicalresearch and the ultimate technology that made this procedure possible. It was the capitalist system that provided theprofit motive for the necessary research and technological advancements to occur. If that profit motive was not there, one hasto ask himself, could they have done the surgery last week? Would they even know what had to be done, letalone how to do it?

ObamaCare provides that every medical professional,regardless of specialty or expertise, will get paid the same. My surgeon has a reputation for being thebest in this part of the state at what he does. Would I want someone with lesser credentials to slice on my eye? Of course not, but if this doctor got paid the same as the first-yeargrad general practitioner down the street, what would be his motive to be asgood as he is?

What’s worse is that the surgery could have beendenied. I’m 69; that’s elderly. Some obscure medical panel in some obscureoffice back in Washington could havedecided whether or not I was a worthy candidate for the surgery; if not, toughluck, old man.

Yes, the cost of prescription drugs is out of sight. A long-standing practice of greed andcorruption within the industry such as the Glaxo-Smith-Kline scandal nowemerging, has largely been responsible for this raping of the Americanwallet. ObamaCare does not address theseproblems; in fact, it doesn’t effectively address the price of prescriptions at all.

Even so, we have a great medical system in thiscountry. Yes, some things need to beaddressed, but the full-scale conversion of our system into a socialisticmedicine model is not the answer. Whathas been enacted and what is now in the process of being implemented simplymust be stopped; that doesn’t mean that we can’t sit down and address theproblems that we do have and fix them. We can do that right after we get rid of the lousy Congress andPresident that we have.

We can, and we must.

President Barack Hussein Obama, having heretofore refused tocooperate with a House investigation into the Solyndra scandal, yesterday rebuffedthe resulting subpoena while insisting that the request was too broad and would put an"unreasonable burden on the president's ability to meet his constitutionalduties." The move sets up a Constitutional challenge that couldstall the investigation until after the November 2012 election. The House is determined to find out who knewwhat and whether or not Obama accepted political contributions in return forhis authorization of the loan guarantees which Solyndra has now filedbankruptcy on.

Ifyou have nothing to hide, why hide it? Furthermore, we now have the situation where the target of theinvestigation is telling the investigators what they can and cannot do. This transcends the doctrine of “executiveprivilege” and enters the realm of obstruction of justice, similar to the Nixonstance over Watergate.

Whilethe White House has turned over “thousands of documents” to the Committee,documents directly relating to the specific issue have not yet beenprovided. "Unfortunately, we had to take this stepafter the White House has continued to slow walk the production of documentsnecessary for this investigation by only releasing selected documents andrecords," said Rep. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla., chairman of the House panelinvestigating the matter, in a prepared statement.

My guess is that the House will get the documents after they have been gonethoroughly through and sanitized, sometime shortly after Obama provides the country with a legitimateU.S. birth certificate.

Our world today is full of adversity and challenge, and whatis going on in our political realm is no exception. We can’t help wondering when the country isgoing to run out of money, be taken over by illegal Mexican drug cartels, orchange into a Marxist Socialist state. We shake our heads everyday at the waste and corruption going on inWashington and we get sick to our stomachs when we think about the end resultof ObamaCare.

We have every right to be afraid. Our government has breeding it into us foryears.

I was recently asked if the elections were dividing ourcountry. I submit that our President hasbeen dividing the country against each other for the last three years. He has fragmented our society in everyimaginable way. As you know, united westand and divided we fall.

The plain simple fact is that we can overcome our fears andwe can take our country back. Surely, noone of us can accomplish that, but united we can. There is strength in numbers and the strongeryou are, the less you have to fear. Noone wants to be the lone wolf even when he is standing up for what isright. But, the Tea Parties have shownthat, when people stand together, they gain strength and they CAN make apositive difference in our country.

We need to stand united and step up to the plate now.

HOW AMERICANS CAN OVERCOME OUR GOVERNMENT

How often do we ask ourselves, “What can we possibly do to straightenout this country, considering the mess they have made of it?” It isfrustrating to see the basic structure of our government being torn apart, tosee our President flaunting the Constitution and our Congress so mired down incorruption and unethical conduct that they can’t function. And the trickle-down effect is devastating,with our educational system in shambles, the economy fractured, people out ofwork, illegals taking over our lives…. What do we do?

Well, I’m guilty of making a wrong suggestion. I have said over and over again: we have tothrow the bums out and bring in fresh blood. But, I’m now convinced that such a move is simply addressing thesymptom. We have to identify the real,underlying problem and attack it.

The real underlying problem, you will have to agree, is thatwe have lost our compass. We lost it as a nation, as a people and individuallyas human beings. Let’s face it; we justdon’t know what direction we are going in, let alone what direction we should be going in.

I was brought up, as most of us were, with a solid sense offamily, a quest for knowledge, a search for the truth, solid ethics and morals,and a rock-solid foundation for my life. Our government was the same way, because the whole country was the sameway. Finally, the single thing that makes allof these attributes work is… religion. Afirm and unwavering belief in God and His teachings gave us a solid sense offamily, knowledge, truth, ethics and morals, and a rock-solid foundationfor our lives.

We need to get back there, my friends. We need to really get back to our roots, toget back in touch with our religious upbringings and to reestablish thefundamentals in our lives. That’s a verysimple answer; all we have to do is put God back into our lives and all ofthese problems that our government and our politicians have created will goaway. Understand: there is no way thatour government or politicians can continue to screw up in the face of a nationfull of people who believe in God and who practice His teachings.

Let’s stop addressing the symptoms and stark attacking theproblem and let’s get started today.

SICK AND TIRED OF THE WHOLE SOCIALIST AGENDA

On and on they go, day in and day out, taking away our livesone dribble at a time. Since 1960 atUniversity of California at Berkeley, they have totally destroyed thefundamentals of our country. I can sumit all up as follows: education, sexualmores, religious beliefs, truth in history, borders, illegal immigration,economy, bailouts, takeovers, lies, spins, media and the press. Did I miss anything?

There is not one facet of our lives that they have not debauched. Just as they have attacked these things pieceby piece, they have piece by piece eroded the very fabric of ourdemocracy. They have used our liberties againstus. They have protested, screamed,yelled, litigated and coerced their way to becoming a minority ruler over the majority in thiscountry.

Part of the problem is that we were taught as youngstersthat our Senators, Representatives and President were charged with thedemocratic responsibility to run our government in an ethical and responsiblemanner; we thought we could trust them to do just that and they betrayed ourtrust. They caved in and became part ofthe “them” that have been tearing our country and its values apart.

I’m sick and tired ofthe whole socialist agenda.

We haveto remove every last one of them, Democrat and Republican alike, fumigate theiroffices and elect some people with at least some semblance of trust andethics. Let’s start seeking them out,identifying them and recruiting them for their new roles today.

You know what? They’reright; I admit it. That is the single most important focus in mylife right now. I want to see the manwho has done more harm to this country than any single person in its historyout of the White House.

I want the guy who violates the law, ignores theConstitution, turns a deaf ear to the will of the people, refuses to come togrips with spending or the national debt, doesn’t give a damn about theunemployed and turns on his own people… I want him crucified, vilified andremoved from office. It can’t happenfast enough for me.

I know that you are going to immediately react bycalling me a racist. That’s the only wayyou liberals can deal with people like me. But,if you bothered to know anything about my life, you would know that I am thefarthest thing from being a racist that anybody can be. In fact, I am very much enthralled with Herman Cain, because HE is an American.

If you have a problem with anything I’ve just said, it’s your problem and not mine. So get over it. I stand with my country.

AMERICA NEEDS US…NOW IS THE TIME

Now is the time for all good, solid and patriotic Americansto come to the aid of their country.

All of us have watched our country go down the drain. It was a slow process at first, back in Bush1 years, but it has been increasing in speed ever since and is now progressingdown that drain at break-neck speed. What’s worse, we have a Congress and a President who are pushingit. What’s worse yet is that we areallowing them to do it.

Our forefathers founded this country. They fought the battles and chose the words fromwhich our future as a nation would evolve. Every succeeding generation has served as a caretaker of freedom anddemocracy and the world has envied us and often tried, unsuccessfully, tofollow in our footsteps. The reason wehave prevailed where others have not is because we all love our freedoms, weall love our democracy and we all love our country; we have always beenprepared and willing to stand up and be counted on to defend these principles.

In recent years, however, it almost seems as if we haveturned our backs on our heritage. Ourethics and morals are shot. Greed andcorruption have invaded the halls of government. We have allowed the religious, moral and ethicalprinciples upon which this country was founded to erode. Indeed, we are in danger of losing ourcountry on all fronts: social, economic, moral, ethical and democratic.

We fled Europe to getaway from oppression and here we are, just a few centuries years later, again being theoppressed. Really, whose fault is it?

The nation awakened in 2010 and took its first giant steptoward taking our country back from those who would change her into somethingelse. We are the caretakers of our nation now, and we must continue andcomplete the job in 2012. We have everyduty to our forefathers and to our descendants to step forward and renewour nation’s dedication to the principles upon which it was founded. We need to vote out everyone who was notvoted out in 2010. We need to vote outour President and his crony thugs.

We can do this. Westood together in 2010; we can stand together now, hand-in-hand, elbow-to-elbowand shoulder-to-shoulder. United we muststand to take care of our country, or divided we shall fall.
